“On the occasion of the 67th Independence Day, a colourful parade was organized at Red Road like last year.
Contingents from police, civil defence, fire services, different departments of our government, schools, cultural organizations etc. participated in the grand show and charmed the huge turnout with their spectacular performance and brilliant displays. This time, luminaries from the music and cultural fields and eminent actors and actresses from Tollywood and television channels participated in the parade and gave it an unique aura.
Independence Day reinforces in our minds the need for unity and integrity of the country. We must place unity above everything else. There should be no divide and rule.
Let us all think, speak and work with unity and humanity and pledge for all round development of the people and peace, prosperity and happiness for the entire country.“
