No holiday: Trinamool candidates spend Sunday for campaigning
For Trinamool candidates there are no Sundays when it comes to campaigning. March 23 saw the Trinamool candidates travelling to nooks and corners of their constituencies to reach out to the common people.
Trinamool candidate for Bankura, Moonmoon Sen (Srimati Dev Varma), held a workers` convention at Bankura stadium. Sunil Mandal, the party candidate for Bardhaman East traveled by boat to Kalna, where he held meetings with party workers.
In Howrah, the sitting MP and the Trinamool candidate for the constituency, Prasun Banerjee held padayatra and door-to-door campaigns meeting people. Trinamool candidate for Diamond Harbour and AITY National President Abhishek Banerjee was present at a blood donation camp in Maheshtala and held meetings with the party workers.
The Trinamool candidate of Mathurapur and sitting MP Chowdhury Mohan Jatua held door-to-door campaigns in his constituency. Sitting MP from Kolkata North and the Trinamool candidate from the constituency, Sudip Bandyopadhyay held a campaign meeting at Mohammed Ali Park, off Central Avenue.
