Trinamool Chairperson bats for all-round development of eastern and north-eastern states
During her recent visit to Tripura, Trinamool Chairperson Ms. Mamata Banerjee laid stress on all-round development in all the eastern and north eastern states like Tripura, Jharkhand, Bengal and others. She said that this will accelerate the pace of development in this region. The Trinamool Chairperson had visited Agartala in Tripura to attend a campaign rally.
Ms. Banerjee also slammed the Left-led Government in Tripura. She said that the common people of Tripura are in distress because of 21 years of Left rule. She said that she is with the people of Tripura and will fight with them to end the distress and bring Poriborton. She expressed her sorrow for the people in the under-developed parts of the state from the hills to the plains. She pointed out that the situation in Tripura is the same as it was in Bengal after 34 years of the Left misrule, before Trinamool Congress came to power.
The leader of Tripura Pradesh Trinamool congress and the party`s candidate for Tripura West constituency, Mr Ratan Chakraborty had filed complaints against the rigging done by CPI(M) during the elections. He said that state Trinamool Congress workers are being made target by the local CPI(M) cadres.

উত্তর-পূর্বের উন্নয়নে নতুন দিশা মমতার
ত্রিপুরা, বাংলা, ঝাড়খণ্ড-সহ উত্তর পূর্বাঞ্চলের অন্য রাজ্যগুলির উন্নয়ন একই সঙ্গে করার পক্ষে সওয়াল করলেন মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। আজ আগরতলায় তিনি বলেন, “প্রতিটি রাজ্যের ভাল জিনিসগুলি উত্তর-পূর্বের অন্য রাজ্যের সঙ্গে ভাগাভাগি করে নিতে পারলে, দ্রুত ওই অঞ্চলের উন্নয়ন হবে।”
বাম-শাসনে ত্রিপুরায় অনুন্নয়নের অভিযোগ সরব হন তৃণমূল নেত্রী। তিনি বলেন, “২১ বছরের বামফ্রন্ট শাসনে দুর্দশায় রয়েছেন ত্রিপুরার মানুষ। এই অপশাসন শেষ করতে আমিও তাঁদের লড়াইয়ের সঙ্গী হতে চাই।” মমতার বক্তব্য, “এ রাজ্যের সমতল থেকে পাহাড়ে অনুন্নয়ন স্পষ্ট। সরকার তা নিয়ে উদাসীন।” ত্রিপুরা থেকে আজ অসমে জনসভা করতে যাওয়ার কথা থাকলেও, দলীয় কর্মসূচির পরিবর্তিন হওয়ায় সরাসরি কলকাতায় ফিরে যান তৃণমূল নেত্রী। সাংবাদিকদের প্রশ্নে তিনি বলেন, “ত্রিপুরায় রাজনীতি বিস্ফোরক পরিস্থিতিতে রয়েছে। বাংলায় ৩৪ বছরের বাম-শাসনে যে সমস্যা তৈরি হয়েছিল, এখানে এখন তা-ই চলছে।”
কমিশনের কাছে সিপিএমের বিরুদ্ধে `রিগিং`-সহ এক গুচ্ছ অভিযোগ জানাল তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস। ত্রিপুরায় দলীয় প্রার্থী রতন চক্রবর্তী বলেন, “নির্বাচন এগিয়ে আসতেই লাল সন্ত্রাসে আক্রান্ত হচ্ছেন তৃণমূলের কর্মী, সমর্থকরা।” এ বিষয়ে দলীয় নেত্রীকে জানানো হয়। সুষ্ঠু ভোটের জন্য নিরাপত্তার ব্যবস্থা করতে তিনি অনুরোধ জানান।
