Trinamool`s reaction to the speech by the Butcher of Gujarat
Reacting to the speech made by the Chief Minister of Gujarat at a public rally in Bengal, National Spokesperson of Trinamool, Derek O`Brien today said, “The Butcher of Gujarat has air-dropped into Bengal. He has no answers to Bengal's development model. So, he is making personal attacks.”
He added, “The Butcher of Gujarat says Didi pocketed Rs 1.8 crore by selling one painting of hers. He should prove it or face defamation. The paintings were sold not for personal gain. The money was used for good causes as well as to fund elections. Hence electoral reforms are a priority for Trinamool.”
Making these wild personal accusations without any basis is not what elections are made of. Fight politically, not personally. Otherwise we too can ask personal questions. The Butcher of Gujarat could not take care of his own wife. How will he take care of this great nation?

গুজরাতের দাঙ্গারাজ বাংলার উন্নয়নের কোনও সমালোচনা না করতে পেরে আজ কুত্সা ও অপপ্রচারে লিপ্ত হয়েছেন। গুজরাতের দাঙ্গারাজ বলেছেন, দিদি তার একটি ছবি বিক্রি করে ১.৮ কোটি টাকা আত্মসাৎ করেছেন। উনি প্রমান দেখান নয়তো আমরা মানহানির মামলা করব। ছবি বিক্রির টাকা তৃণমূল নির্বাচনের খরচ যোগাতে ব্যবহার করে। এই কারণেই আমাদের দাবি নির্বাচন পদ্ধতির আমূল সংস্কার।
নির্বাচনের সময়ে অপপ্রচার ও ব্যক্তিগত আক্রমন গণতন্ত্রের পক্ষে ক্ষতিকারক। আমরা ওনার কুত্সার জবাবে মুখ খুললে অনেক প্রশ্নই করতে পারি। গুজরাতের দাঙ্গারাজ নিজের স্ত্রীর প্রতি তার দায়িত্ব পালনে অপারগ ছিলেন। তিনি কি করে দেশের দায়িত্ব সামলাবেন?
