Sir, the GST issue I support. Today, I want to draw your attention to a very serious issue.

Sir, permission for Scheduled Caste was set up in 12 states of the country. These are Rajasthan, Punjab, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Maharashtra and Goa.

But when West Bengal Government is trying to set up such type of commission for the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe, it is most unfortunate that the Assembly could not function at its Winter Session and it had to declare sine die yesterday. What is the reason? Governor’s House is not sending the Bill to the Assembly and as a result, the Government is not being able to implement the Act and implement the law.

Sir, we strongly protest this heinous attitude of the present Head of the State and we would request you Sir, and the Hon’ble Home Minister to intervene. As Head of the State, he should not disturb the functioning of the State Government, especially since it is an elected State Government.

Sir, the federal structure policy is being challenged. Assembly had to be closed down yesterday only after four days of being in session. So it is becoming a very serious and very unconstitutional issue. I hope the Government of India would intervene and see that this Bill is sent immediately.
