Nusrat Jahan places the demand for railway line extension in her constituency

Thank you Speaker Sir.
I am standing here to demand a railway line extension in my district Basirhat, from Hasnabad to Samshernagar, Hingalganj, under Eastern Railway. This proposal is very important for the greater interest of tourism in that area and the livelihood of thousands of people living in that remote area, without any railway connectivity with the district town, and also with the main capital city of Kolkata.
They are totally dependent on road transport which is also not very adequate. So due to this people in that area are suffering a lot, especially the students, vendors, small businessmen, girls and boys who are having to lose their jobs. Kyunki railway connectivity wahan pe hai nahi hain.
Few years ago, a survey was taken by railway authorities but no action has been taken till date. So Sir, I request the concerned minister, through you, to please consider this proposal and please see how fast it can be enacted upon.
