Saugata Roy moves amendments to the Bill to regularise unauthorised colonies in Delhi
FULL TRANSCRIPT
First Amendment
Sir, I am moving (this amendment). In page 2, line 10, after tenant insert ‘or anyone who is having more than one dwelling unit in the National Capital Territory of Delhi’.
I do not want people who have already got dwelling units to be given further rights in the unauthorised colonies.
Second Amendment
In my amendment, I have added one provision after line 10 that is clause 3(i) because anybody who is being given the right if he has already encroached on some government land or such property, he should not be given the right. That is the provision I want to add. I hope that the minister will consider the same.
