Applications for ration cards can now be submitted online
The process of application for ration cards will go online in Bangla. The initiative taken up by the State Food Department has started from November 5, for the non-subsidy cards. Form 10, for non-subsidy cards, can be submitted online now. The full system will go online from December.
Additionally, the submission of application for ration cards will continue offline as well. This will be beneficial for people as they can skip long queues.
In order to include all the members of the family for availing subsidised ration, Form 3 will have to be submitted. Form 4 will have to be submitted for inclusion of a single member of the family. Form 5 will have to be submitted in case of change of name, address etc.
