Mamata Banerjee, in a Facebook post today, announced one more good news for Bengal on the developmental front. The State has emerged among the best-performing States in rural road connectivity and rural housing, and has achieved one hundred per cent of the allocated target for setting up bank accounts for Self-Help Groups (SHGs) under the Anandadhara Scheme.

Recently, the State had earned the first prize in the 100 Days’ Work Scheme, under convergence.

It is again good news for Bengal.

Our state has emerged among the best performing states in rural road connectivity (Grameen Sadak Yojana), rural housing and achieving 100% of allocated target in Self Help Group-Bank linkage under “Anandadhara”, as per communication of the Government of India.

This is in addition to best performance award in convergence under 100-days work, which I shared with you a few days back.

আবারও কেন্দ্রের প্রশংসা পেল রাজ্য। গ্রামীণ জনপদের সাথে সড়ক যোগাযোগ উন্নত করায় পুরস্কার পেতে চলেছে বাংলা। শুধু গ্রামীণ সড়ক যোজনা নয়, প্রধানমন্ত্রী আবাস যোজনা, আনন্দধারা, ১০০ দিনের কাজেও ভালো পারফর্মেন্সের জন্য পুরস্কার পেতে চলেছে রাজ্য সরকার। এদিন ফেসবুকে একথা জানিয়েছেম মুখ্যমন্ত্রী।

সেই পোস্টে ছিল বাংলার জন্য একটি সুখবর। গ্রামীণ সড়ক যোগাযোগ ব্যাবস্থা ও গ্রামীণ আবাসনের দিক থেকে বাংলা দেশের সেরা রাজ্যগুলির একটি। এছাড়া আনন্দধারা প্রকল্পে স্বনির্ভর গোষ্ঠীর ১০০ শতাংশ সদস্যের ব্যাঙ্কের আকাউন্ট খোলা হয়ে গেছে।

এর আগে রাজ্য ১০০ দিনের কাজে ভালো পারফর্মেন্সের জন্য প্রথম পুরষ্কার পেয়েছে বাংলা।

The Bengal Government has decided to start a monthly stipend for PhD and MPhil scholars for the full duration of the period of their research work in the various State Government institutions. The stipend is meant for those who have not qualified for the Central Government’s NET Research Fellowship.

This is yet another step by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to make Bengal a major centre of academic research. The grant would be given as a part of the Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means Scholarship Scheme.

MPhil scholars would get Rs 5,000 per month for a period of two years while PhD scholars would get Rs 8,000 per month for a period of two years. The amount would be directly debited into the bank accounts of the scholars by the Higher Education Department.

উচ্চশিক্ষায় গবেষকদের মাসিক ভাতা দেবে রাজ্য সরকার

পশ্চিমবঙ্গকে উচ্চশিক্ষার প্রাণকেন্দ্র হিসেবে গড়ে তুলতে নতুন পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণ করল রাজ্য সরকার। রাজ্যের বিভিন্ন উচ্চশিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলি থেকে পূর্ণ সময়ের জন্য এমফিল এবং পইএইচডি স্কলারদের আর্থিক সাহায্য করার সিদ্ধান্ত নিল রাজ্য সরকার।

রাজ্যের উচ্চশিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলিতে শিক্ষায় গবেষণাকে উৎসাহ দিতেই এই সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস পরিচালিত রাজ্য সরকার। স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ মেরিট কাম মিনস্‌ স্কলারশিপ স্কীমের অধীনে দেওয়া হবে এই আর্থিক সাহায্য।

পূর্ণ সময়ের গবেষকদের বিজ্ঞান, হিউম্যানিটিস ও সোশ্যাল সায়েন্সে আর্থিক সাহায্য প্রদাণ করবে রাজ্য সরকার। সরকারি-পোষিত উচ্চশিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলিতে গবেষণা করলেই মিলবে এই স্কলারশিপ পাওয়ার সুযোগ।

নেট রিসার্চ ফেলোশিপ-এ অনুত্তীর্ণ এমফিল এবং পিএইচডি স্কলারদের জন্য এই উদ্যোগ নেওয়া হয়েছে। এমফিল স্কলারদের জন্য প্রতি মাসে পাঁচ হাজার টাকা করে দেওয়া হবে। অন্যদিকে পিএইচডি স্কলাররা পাবেন মাসিক আট হাজার টাকা ভাতা। দুই ক্ষেত্রেই সময়সীমা বেঁধে দেওয়া হয়েছে। পিইএইচডি স্কলারদের জন্য সেই সময়সীমা চার বছর এবং এমফিল স্কলারদের জন্য দুই বছর।

The State Government has created a ‘low-voltage map’ to better serve the remote parts of the State.

Bengal is on the threshold of achieving 100 per cent electrification of the State. The only roadblock towards achieving that is the low voltage prevalent in some remote parts of the State.

One of the reasons for this is the fact that a electric cables need to be drawn over long distances from power stations due to a lack of adequate number of transformers to distribute the power.

The low-voltage map that the Government has prepared hinges on six major points. They are as follows:

  • Setting up 175 substations
  • Increasing the distributing power of old substations
  • Setting up new feeder stations
  • Replacing thinner cables with thicker high-tension cables over a total distance of 32,000 km
  • Setting up 30,000 transformers
  • Separating electric lines on the basis of household use and farm use

The detailed project report (DPR) regarding this has already been sent to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee by the State Power Department, and implementation is to begin soon.

প্রত্যন্ত অঞ্চলে আরও ভালো পরিষেবা দিতে রাজ্য সরকার তৈরি করলেন লো-ভোল্টেজ ম্যাপ।বাংলা ১০০ শতাংশ বিদ্যুতিকরনের প্রায় শেষ পর্যায়ে। সেই পথে একমাত্র বাধা হল আজও রাজ্যের কিছু প্রত্যন্ত অঞ্চলে থেকে গেছে লো-ভোল্টেজের সমস্যা।

এর প্রধান কারণ হল সাধারণত বহুদুরের বিদ্যুৎ কেন্দ্র থেকে তারের মাধ্যমে এই বিদ্যুৎ পৌঁছে দেওয়া হয়, যেখানে পর্যাপ্ত পরিমানে ট্রান্সফরমারের অভাব আছে।

লো-ভোল্টেজ ম্যাপে যে ৬টি বিষয় উঠে এসেছে, সেগুলি হলঃ-

  • ১৭৫টি নতুন সাবস্টেশন তৈরী করা
  • পুরনো সাবস্টেশনগুলির বিতরনের ক্ষমতা বাড়ানো
  • নতুন ফিডার স্টেশন তৈরি করা
  • ৩২,০০০ কিঃ মিঃ অঞ্চলে সরু তার বদলে মোটা হাই টেনশন তার লাগানো
  • ৩০,০০০ ট্রান্সফরমার বসানো
  • গৃহস্থালির ও শিল্পের বিদ্যুতের লাইন আলাদা করা

 

বিদ্যুৎ দপ্তরের তরফ থেকে ইতিমধ্যেই ডিপিআর মুখ্যমন্ত্রীকে পাঠানো হয়েছে, এই প্রকল্পের কাজ শীঘ্রই শুরু হবে।

“A lot of politics is happening in the name of religion. But you all know that Didi is partial to no religion. You all remain as you are” – this was the message given by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at the Iftaar party organised by Kolkata Municipal Corporation.

A few hours earlier, at a public melting after the administrative review meeting in Bhangar, she had said, “Just like Eid, there is Rath Yatra coming up. Celebrate both in an atmosphere of peace and unity”. Commenting on the killings of Dalits in Uttar Pradesh, she said, “Some people are trying to set up a riot between Hindus and Muslims”.

“Many people ask me why I attend Ramzan celebrations. My answer is, why not? I participate in Hindu festivals too. As long as I am alive, I will go wherever I please”.

She further said, “Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, we all love to stay together. This is our India. We do not want riots. We do not support riots”.

“অনেকে ধর্ম নিয়ে রাজনীতি করছে। কিন্তু আপনারা জেনে রাখুন দিদি প্রত্যেক ধর্মের সঙ্গে রয়েছে। আপনারা সবাই নিজের মত থাকুন”। সোমবার কলকাতা পুরসভার দাওয়াত এ ইফতার এ অংশ নিয়ে সম্প্রীতির বার্তা দিলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়।

এদিন ভাঙড়ে প্রশাসনিক বৈঠক করতে গিয়ে মুখ্যমন্ত্রী বলেন, সামনেই যেমন খুশির ঈদ রয়েছে তেমনই রয়েছে রথযাত্রা। ফলে সকলে মিলে শান্তিপূর্ণ ভাবে সম্প্রীতির পরিবেশের মধ্য দিয়ে তা পালন করুন”। উত্তরপ্রদেশের দলিত হত্যার নিন্দা করে মুখ্যমন্ত্রী বলেন, “এখন হিন্দু-হিন্দুতে দাঙ্গা লাগানোর চেষ্টা করছে কিছু মানুষ”।

“অনেকে আমায় প্রশ্ন করেন কেন মুসলিমদের রমজানে যাই। কেন যাব না? হিন্দুদের অনুষ্ঠানে যাই। যত বছর বাঁচব, আমার যেখানে যাওয়ার সেখানেই যাব। কেউ আমায় আটকাতে পারবে না”।

তিনি আর বলেন, “হিন্দু, মুসলিম, শিখ, খ্রিস্টান আমরা সবাই একসঙ্গে থাকতে ভালোবাসি। এটাই আমাদের ভারতবর্ষ। লড়াই, দাঙ্গা আমার পছন্দ নয়, আমি এসব সমর্থন করি না”।

After the city’s medical colleges, under another project of the Bengal Health Department, water ATMs are going to be installed in the district-level hospitals in the State. The project will immensely benefit a large number of people who visit the out-patient departments (OPDs) of these hospitals. The project will be implemented by the Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department.

Especially during the hot summers, there is a crisis of water in many hospitals in the districts. The project would be implemented in phases.

In the first phase, water ATMs will be installed in various district hospitals where there is a crisis of purified drinking water. As per the plan, the sub-divisional hospitals and the block-level hospitals will also get these machines.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who is also in charge of the Health Department, had instructed the senior officials of the department to solve the drinking water crisis at various State-run hospitals, following which a survey was conducted. The present scheme is a result of that survey.

 

জেলা হাসপাতালগুলিতে জলের এটিএম মেশিন বসানোর পরিকল্পনা রাজ্য সরকারের

শহরের মেডিক্যাল কলেজগুলোয় জলের এটিএম মেশিন বসানোর পর রাজ্য স্বাস্থ্য দপ্তর পরিকল্পনা নিয়েছে জেলা হাসপাতালগুলিতে জলের এটিএম মেশিন বসানোর।

এই প্রকল্পে উপকৃত হবেন বহু মানুষ যারা জেলা হাসপাতালের ওপিডি তে আসেন। এই প্রকল্প বাস্তবায়নের দায়িত্তে আছে জন স্বাস্থ্য কারিগরি দপ্তর।

বিশেষত গ্রীষ্মকালে জেলার বহু হাসপাতালে জলাভাব দেখা দেয়। এই পুরো প্রকল্পটি কয়েকটি পর্যায়ে সম্পন্ন করা হবে। প্রথম পর্যায়ে জলের এটিএম মেশিন বসানো হবে সেই সমস্ত জেলায় যেখানে হাসপাতালে বিশুদ্ধ পানীয় জলের অভাব আছে। পরিকল্পনা অনুসারে মহকুমার হাসপাতাল ও ব্লক স্তরের হাসপাতাল গুলিও এই মেশিন পাবে।

মুখ্যমন্ত্রী তথা স্বাস্থ্য মন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় স্বাস্থ্য দপ্তরের সকল উচ্চ আধিকারিকদের নির্দেশ দিয়েছিলেন, রাজ্য সরকার পরিচালিত সকল হাসপাতালে জলের সমস্যা দূর করতে। যার ফলস্বরূপ সকল হাসপাতালের জলের সমস্যার ওপর একটি সমীক্ষা করা হয় ও বর্তমানে এই প্রকল্প গ্রহণ করা হয়।

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has always encouraged students to go for better education. To ensure that various scholarship schemes are available for various categories of students across the State.

Now the State Government is set to start another scholarship scheme for poor, meritorious students. Under this scheme, Rs 10,000 is going to be given to such students.

The criteria with respect to marks are above 65 per cent for Madhyamik and above 60 per cent for Higher Secondary.

The list is being prepared from data collected from the various districts as well as from the reports on such students published in various newspapers.

On June 13, Mamata Banerjee had felicitated toppers of all boards – Madhyamik, Higher Secondary, ICSE, ISC, CBSE – as well as of the Joint Entrance Examination at a function at Uttirna Mukta Mancha in Alipore, Kolkata.

 

গরিব মেধাবীদের আর্থিক সাহায্য দেবে রাজ্য সরকার

মাধ্যমিক, উচ্চ মাধ্যমিকসহ বিভিন্ন পরীক্ষায় কৃতী ছাত্রছাত্রীদের সংবর্ধনার রেওয়াজ শুরু করেছেন মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। এবার গরিব অথচ মেধাবী ছাত্রছাত্রীদের পাশেও দাঁড়াচ্ছে রাজ্য সরকার। মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের নির্দেশে গরিব কিন্তু মেধাবী ছাত্রছাত্রীদেরও আর্থিকভাবে সাহায্য করা হবে। তার জন্য তালিকা তৈরির কাজ শুরু হয়েছে।

সিদ্ধান্ত হয়েছে, গরিব পরিবারের প্রত্যেক মেধাবী ছাত্রছাত্রীকে ১০ হাজার টাকা করে দেওয়া হবে। সেই টাকায় ছাত্রছাত্রীদের পড়াশুনায় অনেক সুবিধা হবে। দরিদ্র পরিবারের যেসব ছেলেমেয়ে মাধ্যমিক পরীক্ষায় ৬৫ শতাংশের বেশি এবং উচ্চ মাধ্যমিকে ৬০ শতাংশের বেশি নম্বর পাবেন, তাঁরাই ওই টাকা পাবেন।

মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় চান, পয়সার অভাবে যেন কারও পড়াশুনা বন্ধ না হয়। সে কারণেই স্বামী বিবেকানন্দের নামে স্কলারশিপ চালু করেছেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী।

সেই স্কলারশিপ পাওয়ার জন্য ছাত্রছাত্রীরা আবেদন জমা দেয়। যার জন্য নবান্নে লাইনও পড়ে যায়। সেই স্কলারশিপের টাকা সরাসরি ছাত্রছাত্রীদের কাছে চলে যায়। মেয়েদের ভবিষ্যতের কথা ভেবে মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় কন্যাশ্রী প্রকল্প চালু করেছেন। যে প্রকল্প শুধু দেশ নয়, বিশ্বের দরবারেও প্রশংসিত হয়েছে। যার জেরে রাষ্ট্রসংঘের পাবলিক সার্ভিস ডে’তে বক্তৃতা দেওয়ার জন্য আমন্ত্রণ পেয়েছেন মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়।

যেসব গরিব পরিবারের ছেলেমেয়েরা খুব ভালো ফল করেছে তাঁদের আর্থিক সাহায্য করার জন্য এগিয়ে এসেছে সরকার। এই ধরনের ক্ষেত্রে সাহায্য দেওয়ার জন্য মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর সচিবালয়ে আলাদা টিম রয়েছে। গত ছ’বছরে বহু ছাত্রছাত্রী ও রোগী মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর ত্রাণ তহবিল থেকে সাহায্য পেয়েছে।

All India Trinamool Congress has put out a statement on the Placement Document released by the State Bank of India (SBI) that demonetisation has slowed down and may continue to slow down the Indian economy.

The SBI document basically confirms what Trinamool Congress has been saying right from November 8, 2016, the day demonetisation was announced – that the move would impact the Indian economy badly and would lead to more harm than good in the future. Right from that time, Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress Chairperson Mamata Banerjee has put together and led the Opposition protests right across the country.

According to the Placement Document, demonetisation has had a significant impact on the Indian economy. The ten key points from the document have been summarised in the report.

The spike in bank deposits due to the returning of demonetised currency notes has created large surplus liquidity conditions in the banking system, leading to an increase in the cost of aggregate deposits and a resultant lowering of term deposit rates.

Consequently, SBI may face increased competition from commercial banks and other lending institutions, and hence, suffer a loss in profitability. It could also potentially result in an increase in compliance costs and higher incidents of fraud.

The recently released Placement Document by State Bank of India, states that demonetisation has and may continue to result in a slowing down of the Indian economy.

Here are 10 points from the document:

  • Demonetisation has had a significant impact on the balance sheet of scheduled commercial banks (SCBs), both in terms of size and composition.
  • Decline in currency in circulation on account of demonetisation led to a surge in bank deposits.
  • With the return of specified bank notes (SBNs) to the banking system, while currency in circulation contracted, deposits in the banking system increased. The sudden increase in deposits (given the gradual replacement of SBNs by new notes) created large surplus liquidity conditions in the banking system.
  • Post-demonetisation, sharp increase in the share of current account and savings account (CASA) deposits in aggregate deposits by 4.10% to 39.30% (as of February 17, 2017).
  • This has resulted in a reduction in the cost of aggregate deposits, and banks have correspondingly lowered their term deposit rates.
  • The median term deposit rate declined by 38 basis points (bps) during November 2016-February 2017.
  • The decline in the cost of funding resulted in decline in the one year median marginal cost of funds based lending rate by as much as 70 bps post-demonetisation.
  • SBI may face increased competition from commercial banks and other lending institutions.
  • Increased competition may have an adverse effect on the net interest margin and other income and if it is unable to compete successfully, its profitability may decline.
  • The move could also result in an increase in compliance costs and higher incidents of fraud.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today felicitated the students who have fared well in the various board examinations at a function at Uttirna Mukta Mancha in Alipore, Kolkata.

Students who have passed their class 10 and class 12 students were felicitated, comprising the boards of Madhyamik, Higher Secondary, ICSE, ISC and CBSE. WBJEE star performers were also awarded.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister gave a speech, whose salient points are given below.

  • Students of ICSE and CBSE will be included in the purview of Swami Vivekananda Scholarship.
  • We have distributed 40 lakh Sabuj Sathi bicycles.
  • 40 lakh girls are registered under the Kanyashree Scheme.
  • We have set up 16 universities and 7 medical colleges.
  • 4.5 lakh seats have been created in the higher education sector.
  • We have published a book called Bengal Excels.
  • You will have careers, travel to foreign lands. But never forget your roots, your motherland.
  • Talents from Bengal are respected worldwide. We are all proud of our youths and students.
  • Bengal is number one in terms of talent and merit. We are top of the top.
  • Bankura has a lot of talent. That is why we have set up a university there.

 

 

দশম, দ্বাদশ ও জয়েন্ট এন্ট্রান্সে কৃতিদের সম্বর্ধনা জানালেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী

যেকোনো ক্ষেত্রে কৃতি ও গুণীদের কদর করতে সবসময় তৎপর মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের অনুপ্রেরণায় আমাদের রাজ্য সরকার। সে কৃষকদের কৃষি রত্ন প্রদান করাই হোক বা বিভিন্ন ক্ষেত্রে গুণীদের বঙ্গভূষণ বা বঙ্গবিভূষণ প্রদানই হোক।

রাজ্য সরকারের স্কুল শিক্ষা দপ্তরের আয়োজনে আজ কলকাতার আলিপুরে উত্তীর্ণ মুক্ত মঞ্চে অনুষ্ঠিত হল সম্মাননা প্রদান অনুষ্ঠান। ২০১৭ সালের দশম ও দ্বাদশ শ্রেণির মাধ্যমিক, উচ্চমাধ্যমিক, আইসিএসই, আইএসসি, সিবিএসই এবং ডব্লুবিজেইই পরীক্ষায় উত্তীর্ণ কৃতি ছাত্র ছাত্রীদের সম্মাননা প্রদান করা হয়। এই সম্মাননা প্রদান করলেন স্বয়ং মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়।

তাঁর বক্তব্যের বিশেষ কিছু অংশঃ

  • ICSE ও CBSE ছাত্র ছাত্রীদের স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ মেরিট স্কলারশিপের আওতায় আনা হবে।
  • আমরা ৪০ লক্ষ সবুজ সাথী সাইকেল দিয়েছি। ৪০ লক্ষ মেয়েদের কন্যাশ্রীর আওতায় আনা হয়েছে।
  • গত ৬ বছরে ১৬ টি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, ৭ টি মেডিকেল কলেজ তৈরী করেছি আমরা।
  • উচ্চশিক্ষার ক্ষেত্রে আমরা নতুন ৪.৫ লক্ষ আসন তৈরী করেছি।
  • Bengal Excels নামে একটি নতুন বই পাবলিশ করা হয়েছে।
  • অনেকে হয়তো পড়ার জন্য বিদেশে যাবে, বাংলা থেকেই তোমরা সমগ্র বিশ্বকে কন্ট্রোল করতে পারবে।
  • একদিন বাংলার কাছে সকলে ছুটে আসবে, বাংলার প্রতিভার এতটাই জোর। আমাদের ছাতছাত্রীরাই আমাদের গর্ব।
  • মেধা ও উৎকর্ষে বাংলা এক নম্বর। আমরা top of the top।
  • বাঁকুড়ার ছেলেমেয়েরা খুব মেধাবী। আমরা তাই বাঁকুড়ায় একটি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় তৈরী করে দিয়েছি।

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee spoke at a public meeting in Bhangor in South 24 Parganas district, where she criticised the way the locals were fed wrong facts about an upcoming power grid in the area.

She said, “You can always come to us for your problems. Do not pay heed to outsiders. Do not fall in their trap. Electricity is essential for daily life, industry. A power grid will generate employment. Power transmission lines do not affect the womb of women, it does not destroy crops. Do not believe in rumours”.

She warned, “A few promoting companies want to convert farmland into housing projects. If power grid comes up they cannot do that. These promoting companies have brought outsiders to mislead people. They want to deprive you of electricity”.

“We have brought a law to forbid conversion of agricultural land for promoting business. These promoting companies are trying to cheat farmers and grab their land. We will recover all arms that have been brought to Bhangar by outsiders. If you have grievances against any political leaders in Bhangar, let us know”.

“I cannot be intimidated with threats. Some people said they’ll not let me enter Darjeeling. But I did. You have nothing to worry. Your Didi is here,” Mamata Banerjee reassured the people.

 

বহিরাগতদের ফাঁদে পা দেবেন না: ভাঙড়ে বললেন দিদি

আজ দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগনার ভাঙড়ে একটি জনসভায় বক্তব্য রাখলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। একটি পাওয়ার গ্রিডের প্রকল্প কিছুদিন আগে বন্ধ হয় ওই অঞ্চলে। সেই ব্যাপারে তিনি বলেন, আপনাদের সমস্যা হলে আমাদের কাছে আসুন। ভাঙড়ের কোন রাজনৈতিক নেতার বিরুদ্ধে কোন অভিযোগ থাকলে আমাদের জানান। কিন্তু বহিরাগতদের ফাঁদে পা দেবেন না।”

মুখ্যমন্ত্রী বলেন, “রোজকার জীবনে, শিল্পের জন্য বিদ্যুৎ প্রয়োজনীয়। বিদ্যুৎ হলে কর্মসংস্থান হবে। কেউ কেউ ভুল বোঝাচ্ছে যে বিদ্যুতের তার গেলে নাকি বাচ্চা নষ্ট হয়ে যায়, জমি নষ্ট হয়ে যায়।”

যারা ভুল বুঝিয়ে গ্রামবাসীকে উস্কানি দিয়েছে, তাদের উদ্দেশ্যে তিনি বলেন, “কিছু প্রমোটিং কোম্পানি আছে যারা চাষের জমি কম দামে কিনে সেখানে বড় বিল্ডিং তৈরী করবে,পাওয়ার গ্রিড হলে ওরা এসব করতে পারবে না। কিছু লোক টাকা দিয়ে এসব বাইরের লোকেদের নিয়ে এসেছে, যাতে এখানে প্রমোটিং করতে পারে, যাতে এখানে বিদ্যুৎ না আসে।”

জনসভায় উপস্থিত মানুষদের উদ্দেশ্যে তিনি প্রশ্ন করেন আপনারা আলোয় থাকবেন না অন্ধকারে? ভাঙড়ের মানুষ সমবেত ভাবে উত্তর দেন, তারা আলোয় থাকতে চান।

মুখ্যমন্ত্রী আরও বলেন, আমরা আইন এনেছি যাতে কৃষিজমিতে কৃষিকাজই করা হয়, প্রোমোটিং না করা যায়। এই প্রোমোটাররা গ্রামবাসীদের ভুল বুঝিয়ে ওদের জমি দখল করতে চায়। দুষ্কৃতীদের কড়া বার্তা দিয়ে জানান, বাইরে থেকে ভাঙড়ে যত অস্ত্র আনা হয়েছে আমরা সব বাজেয়াপ্ত করব।

সমগ্র গ্রামবাসীকে আশ্বস্ত করে তিনি বলেন, আপনাদের দিদি থাকতে কোনো চিন্তার কারণ নেই।

India’s largest e-blood bank is coming up in New Town, on the outskirts of Kolkata. This would be another state-of-the-art infrastructural addition to New Town, one of the designated smart cities by the Bengal Government.

The idea behind an e-blood bank is that any person would be able to get detailed information on the availability and types of blood through the internet. This would be a big boon for the people of not only New Town, but across the State.

The project, coming up on 3 acres, is going to be executed by the State Health Department. The blood bank would be located beside Tata Medical Centre.

 

নিউ টাউনে তৈরী হবে দেশের বৃহত্তম ই-ব্লাড ব্যাঙ্ক

দেশের বৃহত্তম ই-ব্লাড ব্যাঙ্ক তৈরী হবে কলকাতার নিউ টাউনে। প্রায় ৩ একর জমিতে তৈরী হবে এই ব্লাড ব্যাঙ্ক। টাটা মেডিকেল সেন্টারের পাশে হবে এই ব্লাড ব্যাঙ্ক।

এই ব্লাড ব্যাঙ্ক গড়ে তোলা হলে যে কোন মানুষ ইন্টারনেটের মাধ্যমেই ঘরে বসে দেখে নিতে পারবেন ওই ব্লাড ব্যাঙ্কে তার প্রয়োজনীয় রক্ত পাওয়া যাবে কিনা।

আগামী দিনে এই ব্লাড ব্যাঙ্কের চাহিদা নিউ টাউন তথা সারা রাজ্যের মানুষের কাছে অনেকটা বেড়ে যাবে।
