For the first time ever in Bengal, a River Carnival is going to be organised by the government along the Hooghly in Kolkata and Howrah. The carnival will be held on December 8, 9 and 10, whose main part is going to be cultural programmes at different spots along the river, among them Prinsep Ghat, Millennium Park Ghat and Baje Kadamtala Ghat in Kolkata, and Ramkrishnapur Ghat in Howrah.

Artistes from Kolkata and its adjoining areas as well as folk artistes will be performing in the cultural programmes. The folk artistes will be selected from among those enlisted in the Lok Prasar Prakalpa, an initiative of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to revive and popularise the folk songs and folk dances of Bengal.

As a part of the festival, there will also be a dart-throwing festival in which around 30,000 children are scheduled to take part.

The primary aim of the carnival is to attract more tourists to the state, both domestic and foreign. It will be another gift from the State Government to the people of the state as well as the country. The Tourism and Information and Cultural Affairs Departments are jointly organising the festival.

ডিসেম্বরে গঙ্গা কার্নিভালে মজবে কলকাতা

বাংলার ‘নবান্ন ’ উৎসবের মধ্যেই কলকাতা এবার মাতবে গঙ্গা কার্নিভালে৷ দুর্গা পুজোর বিসর্জন -কার্নিভালকে ঘিরে কলকাতা ইতিমধ্যেই পর্যটক মহলের নজর কেড়েছে৷ সেই রেশ ধরে রাখতেই রাজ্য সরকার ডিসেম্বরের গোড়াতেই কলকাতায় আয়োজন করতে চলেছে এই গঙ্গা উৎসবের৷ তবে শুধু কলকাতা নয় , হাওড়া শহরের একটা বড় অংশও এর সঙ্গে যুক্ত হবে৷ গঙ্গার দু’কূল জুড়েই চলবে এই কার্নিভাল৷

আপাতত ঠিক হয়েছে, ৮ ডিসেম্বর শুরু হবে এই গঙ্গা কার্নিভাল৷ চলবে ১০ ডিসেম্বর পর্যন্ত৷ মূল আয়োজক রাজ্য পর্যটন দন্তর হলেও রাজ্য তথ্য ও সংস্কৃতি দপ্তর, কলকাতা ও হাওড়া পুর নিগম এবং কলকাতা পুলিশ সহযোগী সংস্থা হিসেবে থাকছে৷ এমনিতে প্রতি বছর পার্ক স্ট্রিটের অ্যালেন পার্কে সরকারি উদ্যোগে বড় দিনের উৎসব চলে ডিসেম্বরের মাঝামাঝি নাগাদ৷ ৩১ ডিসেম্বর বর্ষ বিদায়ের দিন পার্ক স্ট্রিটকে ঘিরে ফের উৎসব হয়৷

গঙ্গার দুই কূলের ছয় ঘাটকে কেন্দ্র করে হবে এই উৎসব৷ এই ঘাটগুলি হল, কলকাতার আর্মেনিয়ান ঘাট, মিলেনিয়াম পার্ক, বাবুঘাট, বাজে কদমতলা ঘাট, প্রিন্সেপ ঘাট এবং হাওড়ার রামকৃষ্ণপুর ঘাট৷ ইতিমধ্যেই গঙ্গার পূর্ব কূল অর্থাৎ কলকাতার দিকে আর্মেনিয়ান থেকে প্রিন্সেপ ঘাট ও পশ্চিম কূলে হাওড়া স্টেশন থেকে রামকৃষ্ণপুর পর্যন্ত দু’কূল নতুন সাজে সেজেছে৷ নদীর ঘাটে বার্জ এনে তাতে মঞ্চ বেঁধে সকাল থেকে রাত পর্যন্ত নানা ধরনের অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করার কথা ভাবা হচ্ছে৷ থাকবে গঙ্গা আরতির ব্যবস্থা৷

মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় চান , গোটা উৎসবে শিশুরা অংশ নিক৷ ওই সময় স্কুলের চাপ থাকে না৷ তাই কার্নিভালে বিভিন্ন স্কুলের অন্তত ৩০ হাজার ছাত্র-ছাত্রী যাতে উৎসবে যোগ দিতে পারে, তার ব্যবস্থা করা হচ্ছে৷ বাচ্চাদের আনার জন্য বিশেষ বাস থাকবে৷ প্রতি ঘাটেই সন্ধে থেকে শুরু হবে নানা ধরনের সংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠান৷ হবে বাউল ফকিরা, ভাটিয়ালি, ভাওয়াইয়া, কীর্তন, ছৌ নাচের মতো কত কী৷ পর্যটন দন্তর থেকে এই কার্নিভালকে ঘিরে তিন দিন গঙ্গাবক্ষে ভ্রমণের জন্য বিলাসবহুল প্রমোদতরী চালানোর প্রস্তাব বিবেচনা করছে৷ এ নিয়ে সরকার ট্যুর অপারেটরদের সঙ্গে কথা বলছে৷

The Bengal Government will soon start providing more facilities to the tea garden workers, who have been facing a lot of hardship because of the forced closure of the tea gardens till a few months back.

The situation has been improving steadily, and now the government has decided to extend further help in the form of opening a health centre, a modified ration shop (MR shop), which is essentially a fair-price shop, and a labour office in each tea garden.

The three will be housed in a three-storey building, for constructing which the State Government will give Rs 8.77 lakh to each tea garden. Foodgrains which could not be distributed due to the 104-day closure of the gardens would be distributed at the earliest.

The government will also construct four warehouses to stock foodgrains in Darjeeling, Kurseong, Mirik and Kalimpong. In case foodgrains fail to arrive from the plains during emergencies like natural calamities, the public distribution system (PDS) will continue to operate with the help of the existing stock in these four storages.

Over the last year or so, following the special initiative of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, the State Government has provided a lot of help to the tea garden workers, including providing foodgrains at special prices, lesser than the normal prices at ration shops under the public distribution system (PDS).

চা বাগান কর্মীদের জন্য একগুচ্ছ উদ্যোগ রাজ্যের

রাজ্যের চা বাগান কর্মীদের জন্য একগুচ্ছ নতুন উদ্যোগ নিতে চলেছে রাজ্য সরকার। চা বাগান বন্ধ থাকার দরুন কর্মীদের যে সমস্যা হয়েছে তারই নিরসন করতে উদ্যোগী সরকার।

গত কয়েক মাসে কিছুটা হলেও অবস্থার উন্নতি হয়েছে এই বাগানগুলিতে। এদের আরও সাহায্য করতে রাজ্য সরকার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে বাগানগুলিতে একটি করে স্বাস্থ্যকেন্দ্র, রেশনের দোকান, এবং লেবার অফিস খোলার।

এই তিনটি কেন্দ্রই খোলা হবে একটি ভবনে। এই ভবন নির্মাণের জন্য রাজ্য সরকার ৮.৭৭ লক্ষ টাকা করে দেবে প্রত্যেকটি চা বাগানকে।

অতি শীঘ্রই খাদ্যশস্যও বিতরণ করা হবে কর্মীদের মধ্যে। দার্জিলিং, কার্শিয়ং, মিরিক ও কালিম্পঙে খাদ্যশস্য যোগানের জন্য ৪টি গুদামও তৈরী করবে রাজ্য।

মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের অনুপ্রেরণায় চা বাগান কর্মীদের দুটাকা কেজি চাল দেওয়া হয় খাদ্য দপ্তরের তরফে।

The state government is taking all possible steps to make eggs available at the government outlets of Animal Resource Development department and Sufal Bangla’s static stalls in the city.

The state has decided to sell eggs at a fixed price of Rs 6 per egg at all government stalls. Six static Sufal Bangla outlets in the city will start selling eggs from Monday.

It may be mentioned that the State Government is now focussing on becoming self-sufficient in egg production; the government has started an incentive scheme for the same.state government has given 60 lakh chicks as incentives.

‘সুফল’ স্টলগুলিতে ৬ টাকা দামে পাওয়া যাবে ডিম

ডিমের দামকে নিয়ন্ত্রণে আনতে পদক্ষেপ নিল রাজ্য সরকার ৷ পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকারের ‘সুফল’ স্টলগুলিতে ৬ টাকা দামে এবার পাওয়া যাবে ডিম ৷

সোমবার থেকেই রাজ্যের সমস্ত সুফল স্টলগুলিতে ৬ টাকা দামে ডিম মিলবে বলে জানিয়েছেন রাজ্যের কৃষি বিপনন মন্ত্রী৷

প্রাণিসম্পদ বিকাশ দফতর সূত্রে খবর, ভবিষ্যতে ডিম আমদানি কমিয়ে উৎপাদনে জোর দেওয়া হবে। ১০ হাজার মুরগির বাচ্চা পালন করলে ৮ লক্ষ টাকা ইনসেনটিভ দেওয়া হবে।

The World Food India 2017, held in Delhi, where Bengal had a major presence, has turned out to be a happy hunting ground for the State Government.

The sessions over the three days were very useful for the food processing and allied sectors. More than 20 government-to-business (G2B) meetings (i.e., between departments of the State Government, which had participated at WFI, and various companies) were held, as well as many business-to-business (B2B) meetings (i.e., between Bengal-based and outside companies).

It has turned out that many entrepreneurs are extremely interested in investing in Bengal in the food processing sector. They have expressed eagerness for signing memoranda of understanding (MoUs) at the Bengal Global Business Summit (BGBS) 2018, to be held on January 16 and 17. Approximately Rs 500 crore is expected to be invested.

 

খাদ্য উৎসব থেকে রাজ্যে ৫০০ কোটি লগ্নির আশা

দিল্লিতে ‘বিশ্ব খাদ্য মেলা’য় অংশ নিয়ে মাত্র তিনদিনে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ প্রায় ৫০০ কোটি টাকা বিনিয়োগের প্রাথমিক প্রতিশ্রুতি আদায় করেছে। দেশি বিদেশি বিনিয়োগ মিলিয়ে কেবলমাত্র খাদ্য প্রক্রিয়াকরণ এবং তার সহযোগী সেক্টরেই এই অঙ্কের ‘বাণিজ্য’ করেছে রাজ্য সরকার।

সংশ্লিষ্ট দপ্তর সূত্রে জানা গিয়েছে, লগ্নির বিষয়ে সরকারের সঙ্গে দেশি বিদেশি বিনিয়োগকারীদের ‘বিজনেস বৈঠক’ অত্যন্ত ফলপ্রসূ হয়েছে। এ ধরনের ২৬ টি বৈঠকে চুক্তির প্রাথমিক প্রস্তুতি সারা হয়ে গিয়েছে এখানে। চূড়ান্ত চুক্তি হবে আগামী জানুয়ারি মাসে বিশ্ববঙ্গ বাণিজ্য সম্মেলনে।

মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের পরিকল্পনাতেই এটা সম্ভব হয়েছে; বিনিয়োগের এই বাড়তি উদ্যোগে সরকারের ‘এগিয়ে বাংলা’ স্লোগান সত্যি হতে চলেছে বলেই মনে করা হচ্ছে।

কেবল বিনিয়োগই নয়। বাংলার খাদ্যসম্ভার মেলায় পাতে পড়ার অপেক্ষা রাখেনি। দেদার বিকিয়েছে সরষে ইলিশ, ফিশ পোলাও, গলদা, গুগলির দো পিঁয়াজা। তিনদিনে মাছের পদের বিপনী ৯৩ হাজার টাকা ছাড়িয়েছে। গেঁড়ি গুগলি, আড়, রুই, কাতলা, ইলিশ, আড়, বাসার মত ২০ রকম মাছের ৫৫৫ কেজি পেটি মেলায় গেছিল কলকাতা থেকে।

এই মাছ কোথায়, কীভাবে মিলবে তা নিয়ে খোঁজখবর নিয়েছে ইতালি, সৌদি আবর, কোরিয়ার অতিথিরা; দিল্লি, মুম্বই, তামিলনাড়ুর ব্যবসায়ীরা তো বটেই।

পাশাপাশি রাজ্য সরকারের ‘সুফল বাংলা’ প্রকল্পের রাধাতিলক, কালোনুনিয়া, তুলাইপাঞ্জি, গোবিন্দভোগের মত সুগন্ধি চালের পাশাপাশি চামড়মণি, বাঁশকাঠি ব্রাউন রাইস, কালোভাতের অর্ডার দিয়ে গিয়েছে খাদ্য মেলায় অংশ নেওয়া তামিলনাড়ু, পাঞ্জাব, কোরিয়া, নেদারল্যান্ডের প্রতিনিধিরা।

পশ্চিমবঙ্গ প্রাণিসম্পদ বিকাশ নিগমের হাঁস, টার্কি, কোয়েলের মাংস আর ২৩ রকম চিকেন পদের রেসিপি জানতে পশ্চিমবঙ্গের স্টলে উপচে পড়েছিল ভিড়।

Kolkata Police has taken a step ahead by developing a system to make post-mortem reports available online to the next of kin of victims.

One just needs to log in to the website pmr.kolkatapolice.org to avail the service, key in the required information including the number that is provided by the authorities during post-mortem, the date of the post-mortem and a registered mobile number, to receive an OTP (one-time password). Guidelines on the steps to download the report will be sent to the phone.

This makes the process of getting a post-mortem report simple, quick, hassle-free and transparent. However, the manual process of applying for a post-mortem report will also continue for some time.

It may be mentioned that this comes at a time when Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who is also the Home Minister, is stressing upon e-governance. She has directed all State Government departments to take necessary measures in this connection.

কলকাতা পুলিশের উদ্যোগে এবার অনলাইনে মিলবে ময়না-তদন্তের রিপোর্ট

কলকাতা পুলিশের নতুন উদ্যোগ – এবার অনলাইনে মিলবে ময়না-তদন্তের রিপোর্ট, নিহতের পরিবারের সাহায্যার্থে।

এই পরিষেবা পেতে হলে pmr.kolkatapolice.org ওয়েবসাইটটিতে লগইন করতে হবে। এর পর ময়না তদন্তের তারিখ ও মোবাইল নম্বর দিলেই ওটিপি পাওয়া যাবে। এর পর ওই ময়না তদন্তের রিপোর্ট কি করে পাওয়া যাবে তার নির্দেশাবলী মোবাইলে পাঠানো হবে।

এর ফলে, এই রিপোর্ট পাওয়া হবে অনেক সহজ, স্বচ্ছ ও দ্রুত। পাশাপাশি, চিরাচরিত প্রথায় রিপোর্ট পাওয়ার প্রণালীও বলবৎ থাকছে।

প্রসঙ্গত, মা মাটি মানুষের সরকার ক্ষমতায় আসার পর থেকেই মুখ্যমন্ত্রী তথা স্বরাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় জোর দিয়েছেন ই-গভর্নেন্সে। এই উদ্যোগও ই-গভর্নেন্স এর একটি প্রয়াস।

The Bengal Fisheries Department is going to prepare a roadmap for the better development of inland fisheries in the state and develop a comprehensive strategy to protect the interest of small-scale fisherfolk across the state. An advisory committee has been appointed to prepare the roadmap.

The roadmap would focus on the utilisation of potentialities of inland fisheries in the state, augment the production of fishes and sustainably use the fish resources. The guideline will also focus on the protection of waterbodies and their catchment areas.

This roadmap by the State Government will help the Central Government to implement the National Policy on Inland Fisheries. A national-level meeting was conducted in Paschim Medinipur recently, after which the advisory committee was appointed.

The state Fisheries department will also conduct awareness campaigns to check the water bodies and ponds from being polluted and encroached upon.

বাংলায় ‘ইনল্যান্ড’ মৎস্যচাষকে আরও উন্নত করতে রোডম্যাপ তৈরী করছে রাজ্য সরকার

বাংলায় ‘ইনল্যান্ড’ মৎস্যচাষকে আরও উন্নত করতে রোডম্যাপ তৈরী করছে রাজ্য মৎস্য দপ্তর। পাশাপাশি রাজ্যের মৎস্যজীবীদের স্বার্থরক্ষা করার অভিমুখও তৈরী করা হবে। এই রোডম্যাপ তৈরী করতে একটি উপদেষ্টা কমিটিও তৈরী করা হয়েছে ।

বাংলায় ‘ইনল্যান্ড’ মৎস্যচাষের যে বিশাল সম্ভাবনা আছে সেটার ওপর নজর রেখেই এই রোডম্যাপ তৈরি করা হবে। মাছের ফলন বৃদ্ধি করা হবে, পাশাপাশি মাছ চাষের পরিকাঠামোর উন্নয়ন করা যায়। এই নির্দেশিকায় জলাশয়গুলি ও তার আশপাশের এলাকার সংরক্ষণ ও উন্নয়ন করা হবে।

জলাশয় ও পুকুরগুলির দূষণ বন্ধ করতে রাজ্য মৎস্য দপ্তর একটি সচেতনতামূলক অভিযান চালাবে।

A 10 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) project has been commissioned on the bank of the Teesta Canal by the Bengal Government. This solar plant is the first canal-bank project under the government’s canal-top and canal bank projects scheme for solar power plants.

West Bengal Renewable Energy Development Agency (WBREDA) is setting up the Regional Energy Efficiency Centre (REEC) to promote and implement the Energy Efficiency Programme (EEP). WBREDA is developing mass awareness about the usefulness of renewable energy, of which solar energy is a type. It is promoting the usage of appliances using energy-efficient state-of-the art technologies. Energy efficiency is one of the most important tools to avoid global warming.

The State Government is also stressing on financial support to enable people to buy and use these kinds of efficient devices.

It may be mentioned that the state Power Department is contemplating on the use of energy efficient pumps in agriculture in various districts.

The state government has already taken initiatives to increase the electricity access and has added nearly 80 lakh consumers over the past four years. The state has achieved 24X7 quality power supply to its villages. The state government also has a plan to give power to the agriculture sector across the state through a dedicated line to ensure uninterrupted supply at a steady voltage.

রাজ্য সরকার তিস্তা ক্যানালে মেগাওয়াটের সৌরবিদ্যুৎ প্রকল্পকে অনুমোদন দিল। এই ধরনের ক্যানাল ব্যাংক প্রকল্প রাজ্যে এই প্রথম।

প্রসঙ্গত, ওয়েস্ট বেঙ্গল রিনিউএবেল এনার্জি ডেভেলপমেন্ট এজেন্সি একটি রিজিওনাল এনার্জি এফিসিয়েন্সি সেন্টার তৈরি করছে। নবীকরণযোগ্য শক্তির ব্যবহার বাড়াতে সাধারন মানুষের মধ্যে ব্যাপক প্রচার চালানো হচ্ছে।

পাশাপাশি, সৌর বিদ্যুৎ ব্যবহারের জন্য অত্যাধুনিক প্রযুক্তিতে তৈরি আধুনিক বিভিন্ন যন্ত্রের প্রচারও করা হচ্ছে। এইসব যন্ত্রপাতি কিনে ব্যবহার করতে সাধারন মানুষকে অর্থনৈতিক সহায়তাও প্রদান করছে রাজ্য সরকার।

প্রসঙ্গত, রাজ্য বিদ্যুৎ দপ্তর পরিকল্পনা করছে বিভিন্ন জেলায় চাষের কাজে এনার্জি এফিসিয়েন্ট পাম্প ব্যবহার করার। রাজ্য সরকার পরিকল্পনা করেছে একটি নির্দিষ্ট লাইন থেকে সারা রাজ্যে কৃষিকাজে অবিচ্ছেদ্য ভাবে বিদ্যুৎ পৌঁছে দিতে। রাজ্য সরকার ইতিমধ্যেই বিদ্যুতায়নের ওপর জোর দিয়েছে; গত ৪ বছরে রাজ্যে বেড়েছে ৮০ লক্ষ নতুন গ্রাহক। জেলাগুলিতে ২৪ ঘণ্টা বিদ্যুৎ পরিষেবা দিতেও সক্ষম হয়েছে রাজ্য সরকার।

State Food & Supplies Minister said on Monday that his department has set a target of purchasing 52 lakh metric tonne of paddy for the year 2018 and will start the process of purchasing paddy right from November 1.

The price for paddy per quintal has been pegged at Rs 1,550 and the state government will provide an additional stipend of Rs 20 per quintal to encourage farmers to sell paddy directly to the government or through the cooperative societies in the state. The state government will spend Rs 200 crore annually for this additional farmer stipend.

Addressing a first of its kind symposium to ensure smooth paddy procurement by the cooperative societies directly from the farmers so that the latter gets the minimum support price, the minister said that the government is determined to stop distress sales of paddy.

According to the minister, around 36.35 lakh metric tonne will be converted into rice and the rest will be kept for emergency purposes in case of any natural calamity or disaster. The procurement process will be done through 341 central purchasing centres that has been set up across the districts in the state. A farmer can sell a maximum of 90 quintals of paddy directly to the government and will quickly get the money credited to his bank account through NEFT transfer.

The department is opening two toll-free numbers 18003455504 and 18003451967 that will address queries on procurement. The state government has sanctioned an amount of Rs 800 crore which will be utilised in construction of godowns with a total capacity of 5 lakh metric tonne by the year 2018.

State Cooperation Minister said that his department will stress upon activating the dormant Kisan Credit Cards and open up cooperative societies that have become non-functional for some reasons.

সরাসরি ধান সংগ্রহের জন্য সমবায় সমিতিগুলির সঙ্গে বৈঠক রাজ্য সরকারের

চাষিদের থেকে ন্যায্য মূল্যে ধান সংগ্রহ করার জন্য রাজ্য সমবায় দপ্তর একটি প্রস্তুতিমূলক বৈঠকের আয়োজন করেছিল সমবায় সমিতিগুলির সদস্যদের সঙ্গে। রবীন্দ্র সদনে এই বৈঠক হয়।  রাজ্যে এইরকম উদ্যোগ এই প্রথম। এই বৈঠকে অংশ নেয় ২৩টি জেলার ৭০০টি সমবায় সমিতি ও কিছু স্বনির্ভর গোষ্ঠীর সদস্যেরা।
আগামী নভেম্বর মাসে নতুন খরিফ মরশুমের শুরুতেই ধান কেনার জন্য প্রায় ছ’ হাজার কোটি টাকার ব্যবস্থা করেছে রাজ্য। অর্থ দপ্তর দিয়েছে ৪,১০০ কোটি টাকা।
আগামী এপ্রিল-মে মাসের মধ্যে ৫২ লক্ষ টন ধান সংগ্রহের লক্ষ্যমাত্রা পূরণ করার চেষ্টা হবে। চাষিরা ধানের অভাবী বিক্রি করছেন, এই খবর পাওয়া মাত্রই হস্তক্ষেপ করা হবে। ধান কেনা সংক্রান্ত অভিযোগ জানানোর জন্য দুটি টোল ফ্রি টেলিফোন চালু করেছে খাদ্য দপ্তর। নম্বর দুটি হল, ১৮০০-৩৪৫-৫৫০৪ এবং ১৮০০-৩৪৫-১৯৬৭।

চাষিদের কাছ থেকে ধান কেনার ক্ষেত্রে গ্রামের কৃষি সমবায়গুলির বড় ভূমিকা রয়েছে। একথা স্মরণ করিয়ে দিতেই সমবায় দপ্তর এদিন এই বিশেষ বৈঠকটি ডেকেছিল। খাদ্যমন্ত্রী ও সমবায়মন্ত্রী ছাড়াও শিক্ষামন্ত্রী, পরিবহণমন্ত্রী, বিভিন্ন সমবায় সংস্থার কর্তা ও সরকারি আধিকারিকরা বৈঠকে উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

The Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) is organising a get-together at Eco Island inside Eco Park today. The get together is being held a day before the final of Under-17 World Cup football which will be played at the Swami Vivekananda Yuva Bharati Krirangan.

The president of FIFA Gianni Infantino has arrived in the city to attend the final. Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and her council of ministers along with former players and Olympians are likely to attend the get-together.

To display the richness of Bengal’s cultural heritage, the State Government is organising a 45-minute cultural performance that will include dance performances, classical songs and fusion music by noted artistes.

Incidentally, in order to display Bengal’s heritage, the Swami Vivekananda Yuva Bharati Krirangan will showcase a giant ‘alpona’ in front of the VIP entrance near Gate No. 5 on the day of the final match. A team of around 200 artistes, mostly students of different art colleges of the State are already on to the job.

আজ ফিফার ২৫০ টি দেশের প্রতিনিধিদের সামনে তুলে ধরা হবে বাংলার সঙ্গীত ও নৃত্যের কলাকৌশল।

আজ এই অনুষ্ঠান হবে ইকো পার্কে এবং রাজ্য সরকারের হয়ে প্রতিনিধিত্ব করবেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। সন্ধ্যে ৭ টা থেকে রাত ৯ টা পর্যন্ত চলবে এই অনুষ্ঠান। এর মধ্যে ৪৫ মিনিট বরাদ্দ করা হয়েছে বাংলার জন্য।

বাংলার সাংস্কৃতিক ঐতিহ্যকে আন্তর্জাতিক প্রতিনিধিদের সামনে তুলে ধরবে বাংলার শিল্পীরা। তুলে ধরা হবে বাংলার ধ্রুপদি সঙ্গীত, নৃত্য ও যন্ত্র সঙ্গীত।

বিশ্বকাপের জন্য আমূল বদলে ফেলা হয় যুবভারতীকে। রাজ্য সরকারের অনুরোধে স্থানীয় অর্গানাইজিং কমিটি এবার সাধের স্টেডিয়ামের ভোলবদলের জন্য ‘আশ্রয়’ নিল আল্পনার। যুবভারতীয় ৫ নম্বর গেটের ভিআইপি এন্ট্রান্স থেকে শুরু হয়েছে এই আল্পনা। ফাইনালের আগে বৃহস্পতিবার ও শুক্রবার ২৫০ জনের টিম এই সৌন্দর্যায়নের কাজে যুক্ত। বিশ্বভারতী, রবীন্দ্রভারতী, গর্ভনমেন্ট আর্ট কলেজ, ইন্ডিয়ান আর্ট কলেজের বাছাই করা ২১০ জন শিল্পী এনে শুরু করা হয়েছে এই আল্পনা অঙ্কণ।

The State Government and the Kolkata Police have offered their best wishes to the people of the state for a peaceful, incident-free Kali Puja.

The police have appealed to the organisers to maintain decorum during Kali Puja. From this year, along with the police, officials from the State Pollution Control Board will be on the streets to monitor the use of high-decibel firecrackers and pollution due to firecrackers. The police will also be roaming the streets to keep in check any untoward incident.

The police has appealed to the people to abide by the following:

• Do not hire DJs to play music at pandals

• Do not play mikes loudly in front of hospitals, schools, colleges and houses

• Do not construct pandals occupying the whole road

• Like in Durga Puja pandals, install CCTV cameras in Kali Puja pandals too

• Do not explode high-decibel firecrackers indiscriminately

• Firecrackers which emanate sound cannot be exploded in front of hospitals and nursing homes

 

কালীপুজোয় শান্তি-শৃঙ্খলা বজায় রাখতে উদ্যোগ

রাজ্য সরকার ও কলকাতা পুলিশ-এর তরফ থেকে রাজ্যবাসীকে শুভেচ্ছা বার্তা দেওয়া হয়েছে। পুলিশের তরফে রাজ্যবাসী ও পুজো কমিটিগুলোর কাছে রাখা হয়েছে কিছু আবেদন।

এবার থেকে শব্দবাজিও দৌরাত্ম্য রুখতে এবং দূষণ রুখতে পুলিশের সঙ্গে রাস্তায় ঘুরবেন দূষণ নিয়ন্ত্রণ পর্ষদের কর্তারা। অপ্রীতিকর ঘটনা রুখতে দুর্গাপুজোর মতোই কালীপুজোতেও পথে নামবেন পুলিশের পদস্থ কর্তারা। থাকবেন অন্যান্য পুলিশকর্মীরাও।

আবেদনগুলি হলঃ-
· যথেচ্ছ ডি জে ব্যবহার করবেন না।
· কোনও হাসপাতালে, স্কুল কলেজ, আবাসনের সামনে উচ্চস্বরে মাইক বাজাবেন না।
· রাস্তাজুড়ে মণ্ডপ করবেন না।
· দুর্গাপুজোর মতো কালীপুজোর মণ্ডপেও সিসিটিভি লাগান।
· যথেচ্ছ শব্দবাজি ফাটাবেন না।
· হাসপাতাল ও নার্সিংহোমের সামনে শব্দবাজি ব্যবহার করা যাবে না।
