The Bengal Government has decided upon setting up three more ‘police districts’ after Jhargram.  All the new police districts will be set up in South 24 Parganas, in Kakdwip, Diamond Harbour and Baruipur.

The decision was approved during the State Cabinet meeting at Nabanna on Tuesday.

The Kakdwip police district will be setup with 19 police stations including 9 in the Kakdwip sub-division. The Diamond Harbour police district will include all the police station of the sub-division and that of the Alipore sub-division. The Baruipur police-district will include all the police stations of the Baruipur sub-division.

The move will ensure better communication and fast response by the police force in case of any emergency regarding law and order situation.

 

ঝাড়গ্রামের পরে তৈরি হচ্ছে আরও তিনটি পুলিশ জেলা

ঝাড়গ্রামের পরে রাজ্যে আরও তিনটি পুলিশ জেলা তৈরির সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে রাজ্য সরকার। সব ক’টিই হবে দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগনায়। সেগুলি হল কাকদ্বীপ, ডায়মন্ড হারবার ও বারুইপুর।

মঙ্গলবার মন্ত্রিসভার বৈঠকে ওই তিন পুলিশ-জেলা অনুমোদন পেয়েছে। কাকদ্বীপ পুলিশ জেলা গড়া হচ্ছে কাকদ্বীপ মহকুমার ন’টিথানা-সহ ১৩টি থানা নিয়ে। ডায়মন্ড হারবার পুলিশজেলায় ওই মহকুমার সব থানা ছাড়াও থাকবে কলকাতার লাগোয়া আলিপুর মহকুমার থানাগুলি। আর বারুইপুর মহকুমার সব থানা নিয়ে হবে বারুইপুর পুলিশ জেলা।

প্রশাসনের একাংশ জানান, আইনশৃঙ্খলা সংক্রান্ত কোনও সমস্যা হলে পুলিশ যাতে দ্রুত ঘটনাস্থলে পৌঁছতে পারে, সেই জন্যই এই ব্যবস্থা।

West Bengal Tourism Development Corporation (WBTDC) has started their ‘go-fishing’ project, which will unravel a natural ‘real time’ fishing experience for the urban populace. The half-a-day trip to river will open the door to explore rural Bengal, state tourism department hopes.

In two separate trips – Namkhana, South 24 Parganas and Gadiara, Howrah were recently launched by WBTDC and have become very popular. Besides popularising the fishing trends of rural Bengal among the urban people, the government also sees the holistic benefits of such project. The Bay of Bengal basin contains one of the richest fish source in India. The bulk of the population depends on fishing, but the nature could only provide them a meagre living.

Most of the Bengali fisher folks are living below the poverty line. But the numbers of the fishermen are growing with time as it is the only suitable profession there. The experts also believe that rising level of sea is also encourages the neighbourhood to take fishing as their only profession. Such projects, taken by WBTDC help out the poor fishermen and their families to live a good life and earn some extra money apart from their regular earnings. Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s government took the development of the coastline a few years ago.

The go-fishing is worlds apart from stereotypical tourism package which could not only bring an outstanding experience for tourists, but raise a new hope for the poor fishermen’s tomorrow. The cost of the trip is pocket-friendly. It will cost only Rs 1,150 for a tourist. The journey will start from the state Tourism centre. At around 7:30 am, the tourists will leave the Tourism centre with packed breakfast. The team of tourists will reach Namkhana at around 11 am. They will be taken to the waterfront and then to the fishing boats. After a brief tea session on the boats, they will join hands with the fishermen. All the tourists have to bring their personal fishing equipment including fishing rod. The local folk singer will be there to sing. Tourists can gorge on local Bengali cuisine prepared by the fishermen’s wives. WBTDC will arrange packaged drinking water on board. At around 3.30 pm, the tourists will come back to the shore. They will take the buses to come back to Kolkata by 6.30 pm.

 

মৎস্য শিকারীদের জন্য চালু হল ‘গো-ফিশিং’

মৎস্য শিকারীদের জন্য ‘গো-ফিশিং’ প্রকল্প নিয়ে এল রাজ্য পর্যটন দপ্তর। এই প্রকল্পের মাধ্যমে তারা মাছ ধরার আসল অভিজ্ঞতা লাভ করতে পারবেন। একটি অর্ধদিবসের নদী ভ্রমণের মাধ্যমে পর্যটকরা গ্রাম বাংলাকে আরও ভাল করে চেনার সুযোগ পাবেন।

দু’টি পৃথক স্থান ঠিক করা হয়েছে এই অর্ধদিবসের ‘গো-ফিশিং’ ভ্রমণের জন্য, দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগনা জেলার নামখানা ও হাওড়া জেলার গাদিয়াড়া। শুধুমাত্র যে এই প্রকল্পের মাধ্যমে গ্রামবাংলার মাছধরার জনপ্রিয়তা শহরবাসীদের কাছে বাড়বে, তা নয়। পাশাপাশি এই ধরনের প্রকল্পে পর্যটক সামগ্রিক আনন্দ লাভ করবে।

বেশির ভাগ মৎস্যজীবী দারিদ্রসীমার নিচে বাস করে। তা সত্ত্বেও মৎস্যজীবীদের সংখ্যা বেড়ে চলেছে। কারণ, ওইসকল অঞ্চলে আর সেই অর্থে জীবিকা কিছু নেই। বিশেষজ্ঞরা আবার এও মনে করেন, গ্লোবাল ওয়ার্মিংয়ের ফলে সমুদ্রের জল বেড়ে যাওয়ার কারনেই সমুদ্রের পার্শ্ববর্তী অঞ্চলের মানুষরা মাছ ধরাকে জীবিকা হিসেবে বেছে নিচ্ছেন। রাজ্য সরকারের এই উদ্যোগে দরিদ্র মৎস্যজীবীরা তাদের দৈনিক আয়ের পাশাপাশি আরও কিছু অতিরিক্ত আয়ের সুযোগ পাবেন। মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের নেতৃত্বাধীন রাজ্য সরকার কয়েক বছর আগেই সমুদ্রের পার্শ্ববর্তী অঞ্চলের উন্নয়নের কাজ শুরু করেছেন।

এই ‘গো-ফিশিং’ প্রকল্প একঘেয়ে ট্যুর প্যাকেজের থেকে একদম আলাদা। এই প্রকল্পে পর্যটকদের চিত্ত বিনোদনের পাশাপাশি দরিদ্র মৎস্যজীবী সম্প্রদায়ের মানুষও বেশ কিছু নতুন আশার আলো পাবেন।

এই ট্যুরের খরচ সাধারন মানুষের আয়ত্তের মধ্যেই। জন পিছু ১১৫০ টাকা লাগবে এই ভ্রমণে। সকাল ৭.৩০-এ রাজ্য পর্যটন দপ্তর থেকে এই যাত্রা শুরু হবে, প্রত্যেককে প্যাক করা জলখাবার দেওয়া হবে। তারা নামখানা পৌঁছবেন আনুমানিক বেলা ১১ টায়। এর পর তাদের মাছ ধরার নৌকোয় নিয়ে যাওয়া হবে।

নৌকোয় চা পানের পর পর্যটকরা মৎস্যজীবীদের সহযোগিতা করবেন। প্রত্যেক পর্যটককে তার নিজস্ব মাছ ধরার সামগ্রী নিয়ে যেতে হবে। স্থানীয় লোকশিল্পীরা ওখানে সঙ্গীত পরিবেশন করবেন। খাবার ও পানীয় জলের ব্যাবস্থা থাকবে। বিকেল ৩.৩০  নাগাদ যাত্রীরা বাসে ফিরে আসবেন ও সন্ধ্যা ৬.৩০ এ কলকাতা ফিরবে।

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee inaugurated a land bank in South 24 Parganas district today. She helmed the administrative review meeting of the district where she took stock of the ongoing projects. Senior officials of the State administration accompanied her.

During a survey, the South 24 Parganas district administration found that in Sonarpur, Baruipur, Bhangar, Budge Budge and Maheshtala, vast areas of vested land had remained untapped. The total quantum of such land is around 140 acres.

The Chief Minister had launched a project, which she named Sundarini, in South 24 Parganas last year, where the campaign to make the district Open Defecation Free (ODF), increase institutional delivery, drive against malnutrition among children, and showcase some products of the district like honey and Joynagarer Moa were taken up. Today, she inaugurated Anandi, a mother-and-child-care programme under Sundarini. The percentage of institutional delivery has gone up from 65 to 83. This remarkable growth has been possible because of the intense campaign launched as part of Sundarini.

The Chief Minister also launched a mobile app, Paramanna, by means of which one would be able to get all information regarding mid-day meals, and lodge complaints about mid-day meals too. In South 24 Parganas, 13.5 lakh children have been brought under the coverage of mid-day meals. Around 10,000 schools serve mid-day meal every day.

সময়মত টাকা দিচ্ছে না কেন্দ্র: দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগনায় বললেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী

আজ দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগনায় প্রশাসনিক বৈঠক করার পাশাপাশি সেখানে ল্যান্ড ব্যাঙ্কের উদ্বোধন করেন মাননীয়া মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। বৈঠকে জেলাশাসক ও উচ্চ পর্যায়ের কর্তারা উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

দ্বিতীয়বার ক্ষমতায় আসার পর এই প্রথম দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগনায় প্রশাসনিক বৈঠক করলেন তিনি। সোনারপুরের মহামায়াতলার জয় হিন্দ অডিটোরিয়ামে এই সভা হয়। জেলার নানা সরকারি প্রকল্পের উন্নয়ন নিয়ে আলোচনা হয় এই বৈঠকে।

একটি সমীক্ষায় জানা গেছে,  দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগনা জেলার সোনারপুর, বারুইপুর, ভাঙর, বজবজ এবং মহেশতলা এলাকায় অনেক বিস্তীর্ণ জমি রয়েছে। এই জমির মোট পরিমাণ ১৪০ একর। গত বছর মুখ্যমন্ত্রী দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগনায় ‘সুন্দরিনি’ প্রকল্প চালু করেন। এর মাধ্যমে নির্মল মিশন বাংলা,  শিশুদের পুষ্টিকরন ইত্যাদি বিষয়ে প্রচার চালানো হয় এবং জেলার বিভিন্ন পণ্যদ্রব্য যেমন- মধু, জয়নগরের মোয়া ইতাদিকে তুলে ধরা হয়। বৃহস্পতিবার ‘সুন্দরিনি’ –র আওতায় একটি মাদার ও চাইল্ড কেয়ার প্রোগ্রাম ‘আনন্দী’-র উদ্বোধন করেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী।

মুখ্যমন্ত্রী ‘পরমান্ন’ নামে একটি মোবাইল অ্যাপ্লিকেশন চালু করেন। ‘এই অ্যাপ্লিকেশন ডাউনলোড করে মিড ডে মিল সংক্রান্ত সব তথ্য পাওয়া যাবে। এছাড়াও, এর মাধ্যমে তারা খাবার সম্পর্কে অভিযোগ দায়ের করতে পারবেন। দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগনা জেলায় ১৩.৫ লক্ষ শিশুকে মিড ডে মিলের আওতায় আনা হয়েছে। প্রতিদিন ৫০০০-১০০০০ বিদ্যালয় মিড ডে মিল দেয়।

বৈঠকের পর সাংবাদিকদের মুখোমুখি হয়ে তিনি বলেন,” কেন্দ্র অর্থ বরাদ্দ নিয়ে টালবাহানা করছে। ১০০ দিনের কাজে যে ১৭০০ কোটি টাকা দেওয়ার কথা কেন্দ্র এখনও তা দেয়নি। রাস্তা থেকে শুরু করে অনেক যোজনার টাকা দেয়নি কেন্দ্র। রাজ্য হস্তক্ষেপ ও রাজনৈতিক বৈষম্যের শিকার।”

ডেঙ্গি নিয়ে সতর্কতা প্রসঙ্গে তিনি বলেন, “চারদিকে খুব বৃষ্টি হচ্ছে। এই সময় রোগের প্রাদুর্ভাব হয়, ভয়ের কোন কারণ নেই। ডেঙ্গি প্রতিরোধে ব্যবস্থা নিয়েছে সরকার, সকলের কাছে আমার আবেদন পরিচ্ছন্নতা বজায় রাখুন।”

তিনি আরও বলেন, “গত বছর ১০০ দিনের কাজে দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগনা জেলা বাংলায় প্রথম ছিল এই জেলা। আমরা ক্ষমতায় আসার আগে সমুদ্র উপকূলবর্তী এলাকাগুলোয় ডেলিভারি সেন্টার ছিল ৬০-৬৫ শতাংশ এখন তা বেড়ে ৮৫-৮৭ শতাংশ হয়ে গেছে।”

এছাড়া সরকার সম্প্রতি তিনটি নতুন প্রকল্প চালু করেছে। বন দপ্তরের উদ্যোগে নতুন প্রকল্প চালু হয়েছে – ‘গাছের চারা লাগানো’। প্রত্যেক শিশুর জন্মের সঙ্গে সঙ্গে তাদের একটি করে গাছের চারা দেওয়া হবে। ১৮ বছর বয়স হলে তারা ওই গাছ বিক্রি করে তাদের প্রয়োজনীয় অর্থ পেয়ে যাবে। শাল, মেহগনি এই জাতীয় গাছের চারা দেওয়া হবে তাদেরকে।

৩০০০ কবরস্থানে প্রাচীর তৈরি করে দেওয়া হয়েছে। সরকারি জমি গুলি নিয়ে একটি সমীক্ষা হচ্ছে। যেসব শ্মশান সরকারি জমিতে রয়েছে সেগুলিকে প্রাচীর দিয়ে দেওয়ার ব্যবস্থা করা হচ্ছে। এই প্রকল্পের নাম ‘বৈতরণী’।

গরীব মানুষদের সৎকারের জন্য রাজ্য থেকে ২০০০ টাকা দেওয়া হবে, এই প্রকল্পের নাম ‘সমব্যাথী’।এরকম অনেক নতুন প্রকল্প যেমন খাদ্যসাথী, কন্যাশ্রী, যুবশ্রী ইতাদি চালু হয়েছে।

“সব দপ্তর নিয়ে বিস্তারিত আলোচনা হয়েছে, খুব পজিটিভ আলোচনা হয়েছে।আজ ৫০ হাজার কিউসেক জল ছাড়ছে ডিভিসি। বেশি জল ছাড়তে বারণ করেছি। এছাড়া, আয়লা অধ্যুষিত এলাকায় যেটুকু কাজ বাকি তা তরান্বিত করার কথা বলেছি” , জানান মুখ্যমন্ত্রী।

The State Fisheries department will set up a laboratory to find out the cause of various diseases of fishes and help augment its production.

The proposed laboratory will come up on 10 acre of land at Chakgeria in South 24 Parganas. The laboratory will help find out causes of various diseases that affect fish population.

Before the fisherman releases fish seed, it was necessary to test the soil.

This testing will be done in the laboratory. Also, when a disease breaks out, it is necessary to do intense research to find out the cause as in fishes disease spreads very fast. Once the cause is detected it is easier to tackle the situation.

Also, the laboratory will be of immense value as it will help in augmentation of fish production.

A large chunk of fish in the state comes from Andhra Pradesh and if there is transport strike or something of that sort, the supply is affected and there is crisis in the city and state markets. Steps have been taken to make the state self sufficient in fish production.

From time to time the farmers will be given training on how to increase fish production and maintenance of the ponds.

 

মাছের রোগ প্রতিরোধ ও উ९পাদন বৃদ্ধির জন্য গবেষণাগার তৈরি করবে রাজ্য সরকার   

মাছের নানা রোগের কারণ এবং তাদের উ९পাদন বৃদ্ধির জন্য রাজ্য ম९স্য বিভাগ একটি গবেষণাগার স্থাপন করবে।

দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগনার চাকগেরিয়াতে ১০ একর জমির ওপর তৈরি হনবে এই গবেষণাগার। বিভিন্ন রোগ নির্ধারণে সাহায্য করে মাছের উ९পাদন বৃদ্ধিতে সহায়তা করবে এই পরীক্ষাগার।

মাছের বীজ লাগানোর আগে মাটি পরীক্ষা করার প্রয়োজন।

সবরকম পরীক্ষা-নিরীক্ষা করা হবে এই গবেষণাগারে। যখন কোন একটি রোগের প্রকোপ বেড়ে যায়, ত९ক্ষণা९ তার কারণ খুঁজে বের করা প্রয়োজন। রোগের কারণ জানা গেলে পরিস্থিতি মোকাবিলা করা সহজতর হয়।

এছাড়াও,  মাছের উ९পাদন বৃদ্ধিতে সাহায্য করবে এই পরীক্ষাগার।

অন্ধ্রপ্রদেশ থেকে অনেক মাছ রাজ্যে আসে, আর যদি কোন রকম পরিবহন ধর্মঘট হয় সেক্ষেত্রে মাছের যোগাণ ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয় এবং তার প্রভাব পড়ে শহরের বাজারে। রাজ্যে মাছ উ९পাদন যথেষ্ট করার জন্য ইতিমধ্যেই বেশ কিছু উদ্যোগ নেয়া হয়েছে।

মাছের উ९পাদন বৃদ্ধি কি করে সম্ভব এবং পুকুরের রক্ষণাবেক্ষণ কিকরে করতে হয় এখন থেকে সেই ব্যাপারে কৃষকদের প্রশিক্ষণ দেওয়া হবে।

In a unique move to provide the better health care facilities in the remote villages of Sunderbans, the State Government has set up a waiting hut for pregnant women at Pathar Pratima block hospital.

In the ten bedded waiting hut, there will infrastructure available so that the expectant mothers from far off villages can come here for health checkups where they will be fed nutritious food.

The State health department in assistance with National rural health mission has played a major role in the construction of the new waiting hub in which the poor patients from the remote areas of Sunderbans will be benefitted.

After coming to power Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had laid enormous emphasis on the infrastructure enhancement. Among which, quite a few schemes were taken up for the expectant mother and the new born. It was the Chief Minister’s relentless effort that has increased the number of institutional deliveries in the state.

It was often difficult to bring the expectant mothers from the rural parts of South 24-Parganas and parts of South 24-Parganas as the areas are surrounded by various rivers. It is nearly impossible to transport the patients from the farthest areas to the city.

Hence, the State government has taken various schemes, especially in the villages so that the health care facilities could be delivered to all the patients. Earlier, it was seen that many expectant mothers would die along with their babies while being transported to a hospital from their native place due to the lack of transportation infrastructure.

People had to depend on the mechanised boats to take a patient to the block primary health centers. But in case there was a need to transport a patient during night it would become a hard task.

Keeping all this in mind the health department has set up the waiting hub where the expectant mothers would be brought 10 days before their delivery.

There are 10 beds to accommodate the patients at a time. The patients would be kept under constant monitoring and they would be provided with good quality food at free of cost.

The nurses who will be posted at the center will check the health conditions of the patients on a regular basis.

There will be various other facilities like television, indoor games to make the expectant mothers happy. After being kept under constant monitoring at the waiting hut for few days, the expectants mothers would finally be taken to the delivery room of the hospital.

Two other such waiting huts will be constructed at Sandeshkhali and Gosaba under Private Public Partnership model. It may be mentioned that the state government had earlier introduced Nischoy Yaan for transporting the patients especially the pregnant women throughout the districts.

The patients would be able to avail the facility at free of cost. Even after their deliveries, the patients would be brought back to their houses in the Nischoy Yaan.

 

সুন্দরবনের গর্ভবতী মহিলাদের জন্য রাজ্য সরকারের নতুন উদ্যোগ ‘মাদার ওয়েটিং হাট’

রাজ্য স্বাস্থ্য পরিবার কল্যাণ দপ্তর ও জাতীয় স্বাস্থ্য মিশনের যৌথ উদ্যোগে রাজ্যে প্রথম প্রসূতি মায়েদের প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক প্রসবের সুবিধার জন্য এবার অভিনব ‘মাদার ওয়েটিং হাট’ প্রকল্পের সূচনা হল । শনিবার পাথরপ্রতিমা ব্লক হাসপাতাল চত্বরে এই পরিষেবার সূচনা হল।

স্বাস্থ্য ও চিকিৎসা পরিকাঠামোর অভাবে সুন্দরবন অঞ্চলের অধিকাংশ মহিলা হাসপাতালে গিয়ে প্রসবের সুবিধা থেকে বঞ্চিত হন। পর্যাপ্ত জলযানের অভাবে নদীমাতৃক সুন্দরবনের প্রত্যন্ত এলাকা থেকে গর্ভবতী মায়েদের হাসপাতালে নিয়ে আসতে প্রচুর সমস্যা হয়। ফলে প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক প্রসূতির ক্ষেত্রে নদীমাতৃক সুন্দরবন কিছুটা পিছিয়ে ছিল।

ভৌগোলিক অবস্থানের কথা মাথায় রেখে জেলা স্বাস্থ্য দপ্তরের পক্ষ থেকে রাজ্য স্বাস্থ্য ভবনে এই প্রকল্পের প্রস্তাব দেওয়া হয়েছিল। সেই প্রস্তাবে সাড়া দিয়ে এই প্রকল্পের সূচনা হল রবিবার। পরবর্তী সময়ে সন্দেশখালি ও গোসাবাতেও এই প্রকল্প চালু হবে।

গত কয়েক মাস আগেও এই ব্লকে প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক প্রসবের হার ছিল ৬৬ শতাংশ। এখন সেটি গিয়ে দাঁড়িয়েছে ৯৫ শতাংশের কাছে। এই প্রকল্পে গ্রামের আশাকর্মীরা গর্ভবতী মহিলাদের প্রসবের সম্ভাব্য ১০ দিন আগে এই মাদার ওয়েটিং হাটে নিয়ে চলে আসবেন।

হাসপাতাল চত্বরের পাশে একটি ভবনে ১০টি বেড রাখা হয়েছে এই হাটে। গর্ভবতী মহিলাদের নিয়মিত স্বাস্থ্য পরীক্ষার জন্য থাকবেন প্রশিক্ষিত নার্স ও স্বাস্থ্যকর্মীরা। বিনামূল্যে প্রোটিনযুক্ত খাবার দেওয়া হবে । সমস্ত খরচ বহন করবে রাজ্য সরকার।

এ ছাড়া বিনোদনের জন্য থাকছে টিভি ও ইনডোর গেমের ব্যবস্থা। নিয়মিত পর্যবেক্ষণে রাখার পর প্রসবযন্ত্রণা শুরু হলে ভর্তি করা হবে ব্লক হাসপাতালে।

উল্লেখ্য, যে রাজ্য সরকার আগেই জেলার সর্বত্র রোগীদের বিশেষত গর্ভবতী মহিলাদের পরিবহনের জন্য ‘নিশ্চয় যান’ চালু করেছিল। প্রসবের পর এই নিশ্চয় যান তাদের বাড়িও পৌঁছে দেবে।

Hitting out at erstwhile Congress-led UPA regime over the 2G and coal scams, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday said while the Congress was harping on Saradha scam in the current Assembly poll campaign, it kept mum on the ‘scams’ that took place during UPA tenure.

She was addressing a massive rally at Serampore. Later in the day she also held rallies at Maheshtala and Behala.

“They are talking about corruption and Saradha scam. But what about the extent of corruption during their time (UPA’s tenure)! Of Coal gate scam and 2G scam! They should not talk much,” she added.

“For the entire five years, you won’t find them when you need them (Congress). They will come only during elections They are (migratory) birds who come only during elections,” the Trinamool Chairperson said.

She also highlighted the development work done by the Trinamool government in the last four and a half years.

Slamming the opposition, Didi said “Law & Order is basically a State subject; the Centre is interfering in the federal structure. The BJP govt is only indulging in terror and slander. The CPI(M) and the Congress have ganged up; they have become one entity. They have betrayed all, they are cowards, they cannot utter the truth. They cannot fight separately, so CPI(M)-Congress-BJP-ABP have teamed up together. They fight in Kerala but are friends in Bengal.”

Didi added, “The leaders from Delhi come here during elections like birds in spring, with nothing but empty promises. The BJP incites Hindus, Cong incites Muslims, and the CPM incites everyone, they are two faced.”

 

সিপিএম-কংগ্রেসের জোট সুবিধাবাদী: মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়

আজ হুগলীর শ্রীরামপুরে এবং দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগণার মহেশতলা এবং বেহালায় জনসভা করেন তৃণমূল নেত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়।

প্রথমেই তিনি বলেন নির্বাচনের সময় কম করা উচিত, উন্নয়নের কাজ যাতে থেমে না যায় সেটা ভাবা উচিত। এত দীর্ঘ নির্বাচন হলে উন্নয়ন স্তব্ধ হয়ে যায়।

প্রত্যেকটি জনসভা থেকেই তিনি বিরোধীদের কড়া ভাষায় আক্রমণ করে বলেন, আইন শৃঙ্খলা রাজ্যের বিষয়, যুক্তরাষ্ট্রীয় কাঠামোয় হস্তক্ষেপ করছে দিল্লি। বিজেপির সরকার শুধু সন্ত্রাস করছে, কুৎসা করছে। একা লড়তে পারে না তাই সিপিএম-কংগ্রেস-বিজেপি-এবিপি জোট করেছে। ওদের ওই জোট নিষ্কর্মা, হযবরল। ৫৫০০০ কংগ্রেস কর্মীকে খুন করেছে সিপিএম। সেই সব ভুলে গিয়ে আজ কংগ্রেস সেই দুর্নীতিবাজদের সঙ্গেই জোট করেছে। ওরা সব বিশ্বাসঘাতক, কাপুরুষের দল, সত্যি কথা বলতে ভয় পায়।

কংগ্রেস-সিপিএম জোটকে কটাক্ষ করে তিনি বলেন, কেরালায় ওরা চুলোচুলি করছে আর বাংলায় দোলাদুলি করছে। ওরা আগে বলত মার্ক্সবাদ এখন বলে মার্ক্স বাদ।

দুই লক্ষ কোটি টাকার দেনা রেখে গেছে সিপিএম। তখন কংগ্রেস ক্ষমতায় ছিল, কংগ্রেস কেন দিয়ে ছিল সিপিএমকে টাকা? ওরা ঋণ না দিলে আজ আমাদের এত সমস্যায় পরতে হত না। ওই পাপীদের পাপের বোঝা আমরা এখনও শোধ করছি। ৫ বছরে আমাদের আয় হল ১,৫৩০০০ কোটি টাকা তার মধ্যে ১,৪০০০০ কোটি টাকা কেটে নিয়ে গেছে কেন্দ্র। ৪ বছর আগে আমরা রাজনৈতিক স্বাধীনতা পেলেও অর্থনৈতিক স্বাধীনতা পায়নি তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস।

দিদি বলেন, দুর্নীতিগ্রস্তরাই আজ দুর্নীতির কথা বলছে। কংগ্রেসের ২১০০ কোটি টাকার উৎস অজানা, বিজেপির ২২০০ কোটি টাকার উৎস অজানা, সিপিএমের ২০০০ কোটি টাকা অজানা উৎস। বিরোধীদের এদিন বসন্তের কোকিল বলে কটাক্ষ করে তিনি বলেন, ওরা শুধু নির্বাচনের সময় বাংলায় আসে, দরকারের সময় ওদের পাওয়া যায় না। বাংলার কোন উন্নয়ন চোখে ওরা দেখতে পায় না। ১৯শে মে কুৎসার জবাব দেবে ব্যালট বক্স।

তিনি কংগ্রেসকে কড়া ভাষায় আক্রমণ করে বলেন আজ কংগ্রেস আজ সাধু হয়ে গেছে। তিনি প্রশ্ন করেন ২ জি কেলেঙ্কারি কার আমলে হয়েছে?কয়লা কেলেঙ্কারি কার আমলে হয়েছে?

তিনি বলেন, ‘আমি কাউকে ভয় পাই না, জীবনটাকে আমি চ্যালেঞ্জ হিসেবে গ্রহণ করেছি। আমি সাধারণ মানুষের চেয়ারে বসে কাজ করি, সাধারণ মানুষের জন্য কাজ করাই আমার কাজ। ১৯শে মে তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস দ্বিতীয়বার শপথ নেবে”।

সবশেষে তিনি চ্যালেঞ্জ করে বলেন কাজ-সভ্যতা-সংস্কৃতি-উন্নতি-প্রগতি দিয়ে বিচার হলে গত ৪ বছরে বাংলা যা কাজ করেছে কেউ তা করতে পারে নি।

Mamata Banerjee will address election campaign rallies in three districts today – at Joynagar, Mandirbazar and Maheshtala in South 24 Parganas, at Khidderpore in Kolkata and at Sreerampore in Hooghly.

The Trinamool Chairperson has already taken part in more than one hundred campaign rallies and padayatras in different parts of Bengal, in spite of the scorching heat.

On Tuesday, Mamata Banerjee held rallies in different part of South Kolkata – at Theatre Road, Bagha Jatin, Patuli and Tollygunge. People turned out in large numbers to show support towards her.

আজ তিন জেলায় নির্বাচনী প্রচার করবেন তৃণমূল নেত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগণার জয়নগর,মন্দিরবাজারে ও মহেশ্তলায়, কলকাতার খিদিরপুর এবং হুগলি জেলার শ্রীরামপুরে জনসভা করবেন নেত্রী।

এই প্রচণ্ড গরমে সারা বাংলা জুড়ে তিনি নির্বাচনী প্রচার করছেন। ইতিমধ্যেই তিনি ১০০টির বেশি জনসভা ও পদযাত্রা করেছেন।

মঙ্গলবার তিনি ভাঙড়, বারুইপুর, মগরাহাট ও রায়দীঘিতে নির্বাচনী প্রচার করেছেন। প্রতিটি জনসভাতেই বিপুল জনসমাগম হয়েছিল।

Slamming the CPI(M) candidate in Raidighi, Kanti Ganguly, Mamata Banerjee today said that the CPI(M) was planning to rig the upcoming elections in the assembly segment. She was addressing a massive rally at Raidighi in South 24 Parganas. She also addressed rallies at Baruipur, Magrahat and Bhangar later in the day.

In Bhangar, she slammed CPI(M), Congress and BJP on the issue of corruption. “The most corrupt parties are accusing us of corruption. BJP received Rs 2200 crore from unknown sources, Congress received Rs 2100 crore. CPI(M) received Rs 668 crore from unknown sources. 85% of Congress’s income is from unknown sources while that of BJP is 73%. Sonia Gandhi must give an account of Rs 2100 crore then lecture us on corruption. BJP promised to bring back black money. Where is the money,” she said.

Slamming the CPI(M)-Congress alliance, Didi said, “The CPI(M) and Congress have started a whisper campaign against us. But they will never win. The alliance is opportunistic. CPI(M) and Congress will become sign boards after the Bengal polls results are out. The alliance says it will win 200 seats. Let them first win 20 seats. People of Bengal have not forgotten the atrocities during CPI(M) rule.”

Speaking on the development in the area, she said, “Our government had taken a decision to create a new district in Sunderbans. From Kanyashree to Sabuj Sathi, we have given a lot of benefits to students. We have taken several initiatives for the fishermen of this district. We have set up hospitals, schools and colleges for people.”

“We have distributed Sikshasree scholarships to 26 lakh SC/ST students. We are giving rice at Rs 2/kg to 8 crore people under Khadya Sathi scheme. We built the Mridanga bridge for the local people here. We have set up ITIs, Karma Tirtha, polytechnics, Kisan Bazaars. We do not discriminate between people while distributing services,” she added.

 

সিপিএম রিগিংয়ের পরিকল্পনা করছে: মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়

আজ দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগণার রায়দীঘিতে একটি জনসভা করেন তৃণমূল নেত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যপাধায়ায়। এরপর তিনি বারুইপুর, মগরাহাট এবং ভাঙড়ে ৩ টি জনসভা করেন। রায়দীঘিতে তিনি বলেন যে ইতিমধ্যেই সিপিএম রায়দীঘির বেশ কিছু বুথে রিগিং করার পরিকল্পনা করছে এবং সিপিএম-কংগ্রেসের এই জোট সুবিধাবাদী।

ভাঙড়ে সিপিএম-কংগ্রেস-বিজেপিকে দুর্নীতি নিয়ে কটাক্ষ করে বলেন, “দুর্নীতিগ্রস্ত দল আজ দুর্নীতি নিয়ে অভিযোগ করছে।বিজেপির ২২০০ কোটি টাকার উ९স অজানা, কংগ্রেসের ২১০০ কোটি টাকার উ९স অজানা। সিপিএমের ৬৬৮ কোটি টাকার উ९স অজানা। কংগ্রেসের আয়ের ৮৫% উ९স বেনামি এবং বিজেপির আয়ের ৭৩% উ९স বেনামি। আগে সোনিয়া গান্ধি ২১০০ কোটি টাকার সোর্সের জবাব দিন তারপর দুর্নীতি নিয়ে ভাষণ দেবেন।  বিজেপি প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছিল যে তারা কালো টাকা ফিরিয়ে আনবে? কোথায় সেই টাকা?”

সিপিএম-কংগ্রেসের জোটকে কটাক্ষ করে তিনি বলেন, “রায়দীঘির বেশ কিছু বুথে রিগিং করার পরিকল্পনা করছে সিপিএম। সিপিএম-কংগ্রেস ইতিমধ্যেই হুইসপার ক্যাম্পেন শুরু করে দিয়েছে, কিন্তু ওরা কখনোই জিততে পারবে না। সিপিএম আর কংগ্রেস এখন জোট করেছে, এই জোট সুবিধাবাদী। বাংলার নির্বাচনের ফলাফলের পর সিপিএম-কংগ্রেস সাইন বোর্ড হয়ে যাবে।জোট বলছে ওরা নাকি ২০০টি আসন জিতবে, আগে ওরা ২০টি আসন জিতে দেখাক। বাংলার মানুষ সিপিএমের আমলের সেই হিংসা, সন্ত্রাস ভুলে যায়নি। সেই সব সন্ত্রাসের দিনগুলিতে নন্দীগ্রামের মানুষরা এসে রায়দীঘি ও সাগরে আশ্রয় নিয়েছিল”।

এই এলাকার উন্নয়নের কথা বলতে গিয়ে তিনি বলেন, গত চার বছরে আমরা আমাদের সাধ্যমতো কাজ করেছি মানুষের জন্য। গ্রাম-শহরের মানুষ এখন খুব খুশিতে আছে, শান্তিতে আছে, মানুষ তাদের গণতান্ত্রিক অধিকার পেয়েছে। ইতিমধ্যেই সুন্দরবন নতুন জেলা তৈরি করার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে আমাদের সরকার। কন্যাশ্রী থেকে সবুজ সাথী সবরকম সুযোগ সুবিধা পাচ্ছে ছাত্র-ছাত্রীরা। এই জেলার মাছ চাষিদের জন্য অনেক পদক্ষেপ নেওয়া হয়েছে। সাধারণ মানুষের জন্য হাসপাতাল, স্কুল, কলেজ তৈরি হয়েছে।

‘খাদ্য সাথী’ প্রকল্পের আওতায় রাজ্যের ৮ কোটি মানুষকে ২টাকা কেজি দরে চাল পাচ্ছে। এই এলাকার সাধারণ মানুষের জন্য আমরা মৃদঙ্গ ব্রিজ তৈরি করেছি। আইটিআই, কর্ম তীর্থ, পলিটেকনিক, কিষাণ বাজার তৈরি করেছি। সাধারণ মানুষকে পরিষেবা দেওয়ার সময় আমরা কোনরকম ভেদাভেদ করি নি”।

তিনি আরও বলেন, “৪০ লক্ষ ছাত্রছাত্রীকে সবুজ সাথী সাইকেল দেওয়া হয়েছে।  সরকারি হাসপাতালগুলিতে এখন বিনামূল্যে চিকিৎসা পাওয়া যায়। সব জেলায় ন্যায্য মূল্যের ওষুধের দোকান তৈরি হয়েছে। স্বনির্ভর গোষ্ঠীকে ৩০ শতাংশ সাবসিডি দেওয়া হচ্ছে, তাদের সুদের হারও কমিয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে। বন্যা দুর্গতদের আমরা ক্ষতিপূরণ দেওয়া হয়েছে।আমরা ২৬ লক্ষ তপশিলি জাতি উপজাতি ছাত্রছাত্রীদের স্কলারশিপ দিয়েছি”।

Mamata Banerjee will address four election campaign rallies at South 24 Parganas today. She will be holding mass meetings for the constituencies Raidighi, Baruipur and Bhangor.

The Trinamool Chairperson has already taken part in more than one hundred campaign rallies and padyatras in different parts of Bengal in spite of the scorching heat.

She had led a huge padyatra in her own constituency Bhowanipore on Sunday.

Yesterday, Mamata Banerjee held rallies in different part of south Kolkata at Theatre Road, Baghajatin, Patuli and Tollygaunge. People turned out in large numbers to show support towards Didi.

 

আজ দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগণায় প্রচার করবেন মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়

আজ দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগণায় ৪টি প্রচার সভা করবেন তৃণমূল নেত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। তিনি রায়দীঘি, বারুইপুর এবং ভাঙরে জনসভা করবেন তিনি।

ইতিমধ্যেই তৃণমূল নেত্রী ১০০টিরও বেশি জনসভা এবং পদযাত্রা করেছেন এই প্রচণ্ড গরমেও।

গত রবিবার তিনি তার নিজের কেন্দ্র ভবানিপুরে একটি বিশাল পদযাত্রা করেন।

গতকাল মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় দক্ষিণ কলকাতার থিয়েটার রোড, বাঘাযতীন, পাটুলি এবং টালিগঞ্জে জনসভা করেন এবং সবকোটি জনসভাতেই তার সমর্থনে বিপুল জনসমাগম হয়েছিল।

To inculcate an appreciation for the environment, including aspects of pollution, for life on earth in general, and the solar system, the West Bengal Government is setting up two Knowledge Park and Science Museums in Haldia, South 24-Parganas district and Mahishadal, Purba Medinipur district.

The parks would be set up in two schools on a pilot basis – at Barbajitpur Girls’ School in Haldia and at Gopalpur High School in Mahishadal. This was announced last Thursday by Environment Minister Sudarshan Ghosh Dastidar. Kolkata’s Science Museum is providing technical help in setting up the two Knowledge Parks.

 

হলদিয়া ও মহিষাদলে নতুন নলেজ পার্ক তৈরি করবে রাজ্য সরকার

জীবজগতের নিত্যদিনের জীবনধারণ, সৌরজগ९, পরিবেশ দূষণ প্রভৃতি বিষয়ে ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের আরও অভিজ্ঞ করে তুলতে নলেজ পার্ক ও সায়েন্স মিউজিয়াম তৈরি করবে রাজ্য সরকার।

রাজ্যের পরিবেশ মন্ত্রক এই প্রকল্প গ্রহণ করেছে। পূর্ব মেদিনীপুর জেলার মহিষাদল ও হলদিয়ায় দুটি বিদ্যালয়ে রাজ্যের প্রথম নলেজ পার্ক ও সায়েন্স মিউজিয়াম তৈরি হবে।

মহিষাদলের গোপালপুর হাই স্কুল ও হলদিয়ার বাড়বাজিতপুর বালিকা বিদ্যালয়ে প্রথম গড়ে উঠবে নলেজ পার্ক ও সায়েন্স মিউজিয়াম একথা জানান পরিবেশমন্ত্রী সুদর্শন ঘোষ দস্তিদার। কলকাতার সায়েন্স মিউজিয়ামের সহায়তার তৈরি হবে এই ২টি নলেজ পার্ক।
