Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today inaugurated a slew of projects for Uttar Dinajpur district during a public programme. She also laid the foundation stones of several projects.

Among the projects inaugurated were bridges, anganwadi centres, roads, hostels for women, godowns etc.

Foundation stones were laid for Karma Tirthas, renovation of roads, hostels for girl students, Safe Drive Save Life theme park etc.

Besides these, Mamata Banerjee distributed the benefits of schemes like Kanyashree, Sabuj Sathi, Swasthya Sathi and Gitanjali, relief for farmers affected by natural disasters, Kisan Credit Cards, etc.

Several senior ministers and local leaders were present during the function.

 

Highlights of her speech:

  • We conduct administrative review meetings in every district. These meetings ensure the people are getting benefits and projects are running smoothly.
  • Several small scale industries are coming up in Uttar Dinajpur. A new university has been set up. A new medical college with 500 beds will come up in the district.
  • More than 45 lakh girls receive Kanyashree scholarships. Their stipend has been increased from Rs 750 to Rs 1,000. Under K-2, they receive an one-time grant of Rs 25,000. Now under K-3, university students will also receive stipends.
  • SC/ST students receive Siksha Shree scholarship from Class V.
  • Primary school students receive bags, uniforms, shoes, books, mid-day meal. Madhyamik test papers are given for free.
  • We distribute saplings to the parents of newborn babies under Sabuj Shree scheme. When they grow up the families will get financial benefit by selling these trees.
  • We provide soft loans for students to pursue higher education.
  • When they were in power, CPI(M) did nothing for ASHA workers. The Centre had stopped funds for this project two years ago. Despite our debt burden, we provide remuneration to the ASHA workers.
  • 90% of the funds for ICDS project were stopped by the Centre. We are running the project with our own funds. The workers have been brought under Swasthya Sathi scheme.
  • Civic volunteers, contractual workers, ICDS/ASHA workers, municipal workers and others have been brought under the Swasthya Sathi scheme.
  • Healthcare is free in government hospitals in Bengal. We have set up 300 SNSUs, 75 SNCUs for the treatment of children. Cardiac surgeries are performed for free for children. We provide Matri Jaan ambulances for pregnant women.
  • We have launched 22 Nischay Jaan ambulances for Uttar Dinajpur district today.
  • Bidi workers, construction workers, car drivers, auto rickshaw drivers have been brought under social security scheme.
  • 70,000 Sabuj Sathi cycles have been distributed for free.
  • We procure rice for Rs 24/kg and distribute it for Rs 2/kg under Khadya Sathi scheme.
  • Girls are our assets. After the success of Kanyashree, we are launching ‘Ruposhree’ scheme from April, 2018. We will provide Rs 25,000 to families with income less than 1.5 lakh to assist them in their daughter’s wedding.
  • We provide monthly stipend to 1.9 lakh folk artistes. They also perform at government functions.
  • The local MP of Raiganj is seen on TV giving bhashans. They were in power for 34 years. Did they give rice at Rs 2/kg? Did they give cycles? And then there is Congress – na ghar ka, na ghat ka.
  • The BJP talks of Achhe Din. But their actions are all anti-people. They are taking away people’s savings.
  • The Centre has reduced the interest rate on PF yesterday. Whenever there is a loot in the country, they reduce the rate to recover the money. People’s money in banks is not safe. They are bringing FRDI Bill; now banks will have a say on your savings.
  • Whenever elections approach, they start Hindu-Muslim divide.
  • Audits are not held properly. Few rich people are running away with crores of rupees, with government’s help. Shouldn’t the government be penalised for organised loot of people’s money?
  • Common people are harassed over cash memos and GST for buying something as small as nokuldana. Some people are commiting bank fraud, and no action is taken.
  • They are denying basics in the name of Aadhaar. People do not have social security or financial security.
  • Federal structure is being demolished. Burn Standard Company, which I acquired as Railway Minister, is being shut down. Alloy Steel Plant is also being divested. Workers will lose their jobs.
  • If my heart is Hindu, kidneys are Muslim, liver is Sikh and pancreas Christian. A human body is not completely functional without even a single organ.
  • Adivasis are being persecuted by BJP. They are trying to pit Adivasis against minorities. You must not respond to their provocations.
  • We are giving official recognition to Rajbongshi, Kamtapuri and Kurmali language. We have given recognition to Kuruk, Santhali, Nepali, Gurmukhi, Hindi, Urdu. We love all languages.
  • They cannot provide two square meals to people, but create divisions between sections of the people.
  • We have created 81 lakh jobs in six years. We are No. 1 in rural job creation.
  • We respect diversity. We believe in humanity.
  • The slogan ‘Jai Hind’ was given by Netaji. ‘Bande Mataram’ was written by Bankim. Rabindranath wrote our National Anthem. This is our legacy. We must know our history.
  • We were always with the people. We are with them. We will continue to work for them.

 

বিজেপির আচ্ছে দিন মানে মানুষের টাকা কেড়ে নিন: মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়

আজ উত্তর দিনাজপুর জেলার হেমতাবাদ থানা মাঠে পরিষেবা প্রদান অনুষ্ঠানের মঞ্চ থেকে একগুচ্ছ প্রকল্পের উদ্বোধন করলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। তিনি বিভিন্ন প্রকল্পের শিলান্যাসও করেন।

মুখ্যমন্ত্রী যে সকল প্রকল্পের উদ্বোধন করেন, তার কয়েকটি হল, পাকা সেতু, অঙ্গনওয়াড়ি কেন্দ্র, নতুন রাস্তা, মহিলা আবাসন, গুদাম ইত্যাদি।

তিনি যে সকল প্রকল্পের শিলান্যাস করেন, তার কয়েকটি হল, কর্মতীর্থ, রাস্তার মজবুতিকরণ, ছাত্রী হোস্টেল, সেফ ড্রাইভ সেভ লাইফ ট্রাফিক থিম পার্ক ইত্যাদি।

এছাড়াও তিনি কন্যাশ্রী, সবুজসাথী, সমাজসাথী, গতিধারা, ট্র্যাক্টর, কিষাণ ক্রেডিট কার্ড ইত্যাদি পরিষেবা প্রদান করেন।

এখানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন আরও অনেক মন্ত্রী ও স্থানীয় জনপ্রতিনিধিরা।

 

তাঁর বক্তব্যের কিছু অংশঃ-

  • আমি সব জেলায় গিয়ে প্রশাসনিক বৈঠক করি। এই সব অনুষ্ঠানগুলির মাধ্যমে আমরা সাধারণ মানুষকে সরকারী পরিষেবা দিই।আর কোনও রাজ্যে কোথাও এসব হয় না। এই ৬ বছরে অনেক উন্নয়নমূলক কাজ হয়েছে।
  • উত্তর দিনাজপুরে অনেক ক্ষুদ্র শিল্প হচ্ছে।এই জেলায় একটি নতুন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে। ৫০০ শয্যাবিশিষ্ট একটি নতুন মেডিকেল কলেজ নির্মাণ করা হচ্ছে এই জেলায়।
  • ৪৫ লক্ষ কন্যাশ্রী স্কলারশিপ দেওয়া হয়েছে। তাদের ভাতা ৭৫০ টাকা থেকে বাড়িয়ে ১০০০ টাকা করা হয়েছে। কন্যাশ্রী – ২ এর আওতায় তাদের এককালীন ২৫ হাজার টাকা দেওয়া হয়। এখন চালু হয়েছে কন্যাশ্রী – ৩; এর মাধ্যমে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ছাত্রীদেরও ভাতা দেওয়া হচ্ছে।
  • পঞ্চম শ্রেণী থেকে SC/ST ছাত্রছাত্রীরা ‘শিক্ষাশ্রী’ স্কলারশিপ পায়।
  • প্রাইমারি স্কুলের ছাত্রছাত্রীদের বিনামূল্যে ব্যাগ, পোশাক, জুতো, বই-খাতা, মিড ডে মিল দেওয়া হচ্ছে। মাধ্যমিকের ছাত্রছাত্রীদের বিনামূল্যে টেস্ট পেপার দেওয়া হয়।
  • ‘সবুজশ্রী’ প্রকল্পের আওতায় নবজাতকদের একটি করে চারাগাছ দেওয়া হচ্ছে তাদের ভবিষ্যৎ সুরক্ষিত করার জন্য।
  • ছাত্রছাত্রীদের উচ্চ শিক্ষার জন্য আমাদের সরকার তাদের সফট লোন দিচ্ছে। তারা বিদেশে পড়তে গেলেও তাদের ঋণ দিচ্ছে সরকার।
  • ক্ষমতায় থাকাকালীন আশা কর্মীদের জন্য কোনও কাজ করেনি বামফ্রন্ট সরকার। ২ বছর আগে কেন্দ্রীয় সরকার এই প্রকল্পের টাকা দেওয়া বন্ধ করে দিয়েছে। রাজ্য সরকারের ওপর এত ঋণের বোঝা থাকা সত্ত্বেও আমরা আশা কর্মীদের ২০০০ টাকা মাইনে দিই।
  • কেন্দ্র আইসিডিএস এর ৯০% টাকা দেওয়া বন্ধ করে দিয়েছে। রাজ্য সরকারের টাকায় এখন এই প্রকল্প চলছে। এই সব কর্মীদের স্বাস্থ্য সাথী প্রকল্পের আওতায় আনা হয়েছে।
  • সিভিক ভলেন্টিয়ার, চুক্তিভিত্তিক কর্মী, আইসিডিএস/ আশা কর্মী, হোমগার্ড, পুরসভার কর্মী সহ অন্যান্যদের এই স্বাস্থ্য সাথী প্রকল্পের আওতায় আনা হয়েছে।
  • বাংলায় বিনামূল্যে চিকিৎসা পাওয়া যায়। আমরা ৩০০ টি এসএনএসইউ, ৭৫ টি এসএনসিইউ তৈরী করেছি শিশুদের জন্য। বিনামূল্যে শিশুদের হার্ট অপারেশন করা হয়। গর্ভবতী মহিলাদের জন্য মাতৃ যান অ্যাম্বুলেন্স এর ব্যবস্থা করেছে সরকার।
  • আজ উত্তর দিনাজপুর জেলায় আমরা ২২ টি ‘নিশ্চয় যান’ এর উদ্বোধন করলাম।
  • বিড়ি শ্রমিক, গাড়ি চালক, অটো-রিক্সা চালক দের জন্যও আমরা সামাজিক সুরক্ষা প্রকল্প চালু করেছি।
  • ‘সবুজ সাথী’ প্রকল্পের আওতায় নবম-দ্বাদশ শ্রেণীর ছাত্রছাত্রীদের বিনামূল্যে ৭০ হাজার সাইকেল দেওয়া হয়েছে।
  • খাদ্য সাথী প্রকল্পে আমরা ২৪ টাকায় চাল কিনে তা জনগণকে ২ টাকা কেজি দরে দিই। কিলোপ্রতি ২২ টাকা ভর্তুকি দিচ্ছি আমরা। মানুষকে দুটো ভাত খেতে দিচ্ছি।
  • মেয়েরা আমাদের গর্ব। কন্যাশ্রীর পর আরেকটা প্রকল্প তৈরী করা হয়েছে – রুপশ্রী। ১৮ বছর বয়েস হলে, যে সব পরিবারের বার্ষিক আয় ১.৫ লক্ষ টাকার কম, যদি বলে মেয়ের বিয়ে দিতে পারছি না, সরকার আপনাদের মেয়েদের বিয়েতে ২৫০০০ টাকা করে দেবে।
  • লোকপ্রসার প্রকল্পে ১ লক্ষ ৯৫ হাজার শিল্পীকে ১০০০ টাকা করে দিই মাসে এবং বিভিন্ন সরকারি বিজ্ঞাপনে তাদের দিয়ে কাজ করানো হয়।
  • সিপিএম, কংগ্রেসের সরকার দেখেছি। বিজেপির সরকার দেখেছি, এত সামাজিক প্রকল্প কারও নেই। মানবিকতা আমাদের বড় ধর্ম।
  • রায়গঞ্জের সাংসদ টিভিতে ভাষণ দিয়ে বেড়ান, তাদের আমলে কোনদিন কোন প্রকল্প করেছেন? কংগ্রেস দল বাংলায় না ঘর কা না ঘাট কা।
  • বিজেপি আচ্ছে দিন, জনগণের টাকা কেড়ে নিন।
  • প্রভিডেন্ট ফান্ডের সুদ আরও ১% কমিয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে। যখনই লুঠ হয়, তখনই এরা জনগণের টাকা নিয়ে ব্যালান্স করে। বয়স্ক মানুষও ব্যাঙ্কে টাকা রাখে, তাদের সুদ কমিয়ে দিয়েছে। এখন এফআরডিআই বিল আনছে, আপনি ব্যাঙ্কে টাকা রাখছেন, আপনি সেই টাকা ফেরত পাবেন কিনা জানেন না।
  • ভোট এলেই হিন্দু মুসলমান, রাম কাহিনী বলবে। নির্বাচন চলে গেলে, ব্যাঙ্কের টাকা লুঠ করবে।
  • সরকারি মদতে যদি কেউ ব্যাঙ্ক লুঠ করে নেয়, তাঁর জন্য কি করতে হয়, বলুন? ব্যাঙ্কের টাকা কেউ লুঠ করলে, তাকে কি পানিশমেন্ট দেওয়া হয়? অডিট হয় না, ক্যাগ রিপোর্ট নেই।
  • জিএসটি নিয়ে সাধারন মানুষকে হয়রান করা হচ্ছে। এরা নকুলদানার ক্যাশ মেমো চাইছে, কিন্তু, সরকার যদি ব্যাঙ্ককে বিক্রী করে দেয়, তার কত ক্যাশ মেমো হবে?
  • আধার কার্ড না থাকলে তুমি কিছুই পাবে না, আর আধার কার্ডের ডুপ্লিকেট তৈরী করে, সব টাকা তুলে নিল। আজ সাধারন মানুষের কোনও নিরাপত্তা নেই।
  • ফেডেরাল স্ট্রাকচারকে বুলডোজ করা হচ্ছে। দুর্গাপুরের বার্ন কোম্পানিও ডিসইনভেস্টমেন্ট হয়ে যাচ্ছে। অ্যালয় ষ্টীল কোম্পানি, বার্ন স্ট্যান্ডার্ড কোম্পানিও বন্ধ করে দেওয়া হচ্ছে। শ্রমিকদের রুজি রোজগার বন্ধ করে দেওয়া হচ্ছে।
  • আমার হার্ট হিন্দু, কিডনি মুসলমান, লিভার শিখ, প্যনাক্রিয়াস খৃষ্টান। কোনও একটি অঙ্গ না থাকলে, মানুষ বাঁচবে কি করে?
  • আদিবাসীদের কিছু বিজেপি নেতা কখনও ভুল বোঝায়। ওরা আদিবাসী ও দলিতদের ওপর সবচেয়ে বেশী অত্যাচার করে। আর আমাদের কাছে আদিবাসীরা সবচেয়ে বড় বন্ধু। ওদের ফাঁদে পা দেবেন না।
  • আমরা রাজবংশী, কামতাপুরি, কুরমালি ভাষাকে স্বীকৃতি দিচ্ছি। আমরা কুরুক, সাঁওতালি, নেপালি, গুরুমুখী, হিন্দি ও উর্দুকে স্বীকৃতি দিয়েছি। সমস্ত ভাষাকে আমরা ভালোবাসি।
  • ওরা দুমুঠো খেটে দিতে পারে না, কিন্তু, আপনাদের ঘরে আগুন লাগিয়ে দিতে চায়।
  • ছয় বছরে আমরা ৮১ লক্ষ ছেলেমেয়েকে চাকরি দিয়েছি। গ্রামীণ কর্মসংস্থানেও আমরা ভারতে নাম্বার ওয়ান।
  • জয় হিন্দ স্লোগান দিয়েছিলেন নেতাজী, বন্দে মাতরম জাতীয় গান লিখেছিলেন বঙ্কিম চন্দ্র চট্টোপাধ্যায়, জাতীয় সঙ্গীত রচনা করেছিলেন রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুর। দেশের ইতিহাস জানতে হবে।
  • আমাদের সরকার সব সময় মানুষের সঙ্গে ছিল, আছে ও আগামীদিনেও থাকবে।

The first part of the 2018 Budget Session was a short session of eight days. The Budget was presented on February 1.

MPs from Trinamool Congress presented well-appreciated replies on the President’s Address and the Union Budget.  Questions were asked on relevant issues like manual scavenging, advertisement of junk food, etc.

Controversy erupted when a part of the telecast of Derek O’Brien’s speech during the Motion of Thanks on the President’s Address was disrupted by Rajya Sabha TV. Opposition parties supported the AITC on its view that the full speech must be telecast. Ultimately it was re-telecast on February 9.

The Hon’ble Chairman of the Rajya sabha gives us enough opportunities to discuss any grievance we have with him. Going with these issues we can always talk to the Chairman in confidence. We do not need to go to any part of the social media to express ourselves. We want to tell you this clearly.

We want Zero hour, we want the Budget Discussion. Please protect us Sir. Oppositions want to speak in Zero hour and in Budget discussion.

Budget discussion and Zero Hours are serious issues. We all are waiting. Yesterday one member was named, we are all waiting to discuss.

Madam, I stand on behalf of the All India Trinamool Congress to speak on the Motion of Thanks in gratitude towards the Hon’ble Rashtrapati ji for addressing a joint session of the Houses.

Madam, I am bemused at his self-contradictions. Whereas I agree to his statement on line number 12 of the printed speech that political democracy cannot survive without social and economic democracy, and I agree again with his last sentence when he stresses on equality and fraternity. But what I am confused about, along with many of my countrymen, my brothers and sisters, is whether the contradiction is in the rule of his government today, in the democracy at the personal level, at the social level, and at the economic and micro-economic levels that exist in today’s India. Doesn’t our Constitution grant each of us freedom of speech, and social, economic and political justice, gives us freedom of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship, equality of status and opportunity, of fraternity, assuring us dignity of the individual?

But it is challenged in his rule today. The President, in his speech, invokes Swami Vivekananda often. ‘Bohuroope shommukhe tomar chari katha khunjiche ishwar/ Jeebe prem kore jeijon sheijon shebiche ishwar’. Why are you searching for god in the temples, in the openly armed processions or in the rituals? God is in humanity, god is within you, god is in the human being in front of you. So isn’t it contradictory when Swamiji is quoted but not followed?

Naren, as was he was to be called when he was young, at the age of five or six, he pulled the hukkah meant for Muslims in his house to see whether that would make him lose his ‘dharma’ or religion or jaat. At the end he concluded, that, ‘dharma’ or caste is not such a vanity that would be lost so easily. Ramakrishna Paramhansa Deb is specifically quoted to have said that you practice religion in temples and mosques alike; and he found no difference in reaching God.

Today’s India is different.
Today’s India is difficult.
Today’s India is contradictory.
Today’s India is shortsighted.
Today’s India is myopic.
Today’s India is intolerant.

Honourable Rashtrapatiji has asserted his commitment to weaker sections. But let us define weakness. Who is weak? What is weakness? Whether the weakness is physical, whether the weakness is mental, whether the weakness is social, religious, demographic or ethnic. Which weakness is he talking about in today’s India? The weak have become more vulnerable.

Children are to be protected as they are not yet strong enough, they have not grown up. But everyday children are being kidnapped, sexually harassed, abused, tormented and most important is that their budgetary allocation has been slashed as per the mid-day meal proposals.

Women are our pride and physically less strong. So we can say that they are the weaker sex, as we used to say so. But today, as honourable ministers have been saying that as BSF jawans, they have shown formations during the Republic Day parade, they have flown fighters, so they are not weak anymore. But, everyday they are being raped. Acid is thrown at them. They are molested. But there is no concern as it is shown that only Rs 1 crore has been increased in the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme. Whereas, in our State, our Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, has empowered 45 lakh girl children through the Kanyashree scheme.

The Adivasis are not getting their dues; their right over their land, their jungles, their water bodies are being snatched and their language is not being given recognition as per the schedule.

And most importantly minorities are trembling in trepidation. Madam, if you don’t believe me ask the families of Pehlu Khan and Mohammad Akhlaq.

Where is dharma today, where is God? He is here in my heart. Where is God, where is dharma? He is here in my mind, in my brain, in my soul, in my thought – that is Hinduism. To take everybody along as we go forward, not maime, not kill, not hurt, abuse as is happening in today’s India.

About economic growth. Equality is not there. If it were there then the large defaulters would not have been let scott-free and the poor depositors dealt with punitive actions for not having minimum balance in their bank accounts; it is not dharma.

The farmers and fishermen are suffering; there is farmer suicide everyday in the country. 12000 farmers have committed suicide, though in our state of Bengal, the tax for the agricultural land has been done away with. The one time deposit money to take electric connection for irrigation in the agricultural land has been done away with. But what about Bundelkhand? What about Vidarbha? What about States like Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Jharkhand? Minimum Support Price is not in support of the farming community. The farmers are committing suicide – four out of every hundred farmers are committing suicide everyday.

The fishermen are not getting the benefit of what the scientists are doing. The scientists are doing good job in the country. They had forecasted the Cyclone Okhi that had occurred very recently, but, when they could forecast the whole path, the information that it was going to hit these fishermen out in the sea, could not be reached. We have lost many seamen, many fishermen.

In the recent Budget, Bengal’s Railway projects have been slashed, only two lines have been doubled but extension of metro, even in my constituency Barasat, they have been overlooked it looks like, vindictive political agenda is high. The use of central agencies also very high.

And about the security Madam, hamare desh ka 22000 km se bhi jyada international borders hain, koi friendly country, koi not so friendly country, aur jo wahan jawan pehre mein rehte hain, kisi ke pati hain, kisi ke pita, lekin wo sabhi hamare santan hain, and the Government is not looking after them well enough.

The question is, at Rs 90 per day… ek hatta katta jawan jo wahan baithe rehte hain, hamare suraksha ke liye, chain ke liye, jab hum baithe hain gharon mein, jhel lete hain goli hamare liye. Unite liye sirf 90 rupees per day for their ration is not enough. Who is thinking about this? The medical facility for them is not enough, so who is looking after them? This government is not looking after them.

India today is wild with the delirium of hatred, which is contradictory to the rosy picture propagated. We must try to be more tolerant. It is time to ask have we lost our dharma, Madam?

Sir, thank you very much. Sir, 29th January, Saansad ki Joint Session mein mananiya Rashtrapati ji 20 panna likhit bhashan mein kum se kum 11 Pradhan Mantri Yojana ka ullekh kiya. Jaise ki Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana: 11 yojanao ka ullekh kiya gaya, aur usmein kya nahi hai? Toilet bhi hai, digital wallet bhi hai. Start-up bhi hai, stand up bhi hai.

Lekin, start-up hui hai kya? Mera sawal yeh banta hai ki start-up hui hai kya? Aur stand up bhi hum janta kaise karenge kyun ki notebandi aur GST ke double dhamake se aam janta ka kamar toot gaya. Iska koi tareeka nahi diya gaya hai iss bhashan mein. Na toh yatra shuru kar paya aur na hi khare hone ki koshish kar sakti hai janta.

Iss saal kayi rajyon mein aur agle saal ki aam chunayon ko madde nazar rakhte huye, yeh budget bhi chunayovi jumla jaisa hai. Bataye ja rahein hai ki samay ki barbaadi aur kharcha dono ho raha hai bahut. Aapne toh Digital India bana diya, online chunaav kar dijiye. Kharch aur samay dono bach jayenge. Mahine bhar chunaav, paramilitary deployment ki zaroorat nahi padegi. Aap Digital India kijiye. Yeh saare slogan, naarebaazi zyada din tak nahi chalega.

Chaar saal sarkar sothe rahe, aur jab antim samay aa gaya toh bol raha humko 2022 tak mahurat diya jai toh hum 50% double kar denge kisaano ka income. Kariban 40,000 kisaan khudkushi kar chuki hain, aur agar 4 saal mahurat milti hain toh 80 hazar ho jaegi .

Sir, Neeti Aayog ki barishta sadasya neh kya bathaya is bareh mein, mere pas document hain, aagar aap chahata hain toh dek sakta hain. He says “MP does not generate reasonable surplus income for the farmers, not surprising that the farmers are demanding effective implementation of MSP for all crops and keeping MSP 50% higher than cost.”

Economic Times ki ek report mere pas hain. Sir isme bhi kuch juglery hain aur falacies bhi hain, jaisa ki isme ek mechanism hain, CACP jo mechanism apnaya uske niyamo ke anusar 2 tarah ke cost assessment hota hain: Cost A2 aur cost 2. Cost A2 ke formula ke anusar fasal utpadan ke liye seed, fertilizers, manure, chemicals, human labour, bullocks, machine labours, irrigation expenses, and maintenance cost are the cost A2 mein ati hain. MSP cost A2 plus family labour, yani kisaan ka pariwar ke saat data hain , wo be jorta hain, uspar bhi 50% MSP rakha hain.

Super-flop show; big bluff show. No mechanism to implement announcements.

It is clear that all sections are displeased, disappointed, angry : the unemployed, the farmers, the youth, SC/ST, majority, minority.

People have lost their trust in this government. People have lost their faith. After today’s #Budget, their credibility is now zero.

Bengal gives free treatment and medicines. Our schemes on health, education and the emancipation of girls have already been implemented.

Bengal has already doubled farmer income in 5 years. Now GOI is again talking about doubling farmer income. Will agriculture grow at 12% per annum? They are again bluffing.

মানুষ এই সরকারের প্রতি বিশ্বাস হারিয়েছে। আজকের বাজেটের পর এই সরকারের আর কোনও গ্রহণযোগ্যতা নেই।

বাংলায় স্বাস্থ্যপরিষেবা ও ওষুধ বিনামূল্যে পাওয়া যায়। স্বাস্থ্য, শিক্ষা, নারী ক্ষমতায়নের বিভিন্ন প্রকল্প বাংলায় ইতিমধ্যেই বাস্তবায়িত হয়েছে।

বাংলায় পাঁচ বছরেই কৃষকদের আয় দ্বিগুন হয়েছে। আর কেন্দ্রীয় সরকার এখন কৃষকদের আয় দ্বিগুন করার কথা বলছে। প্রতি বছর কৃষিক্ষেত্রে বৃদ্ধি কি ১২ শতাংশ হারে হবে? আবারও মানুষকে ধোঁকা দেওয়া হচ্ছে।

The West Bengal Livestock Development Corporation (WBLSDC) will expand its chain of takeaway meat shops – Kaviar – across Kolkata and across seven districts (Purba Bardhaman, Purba Medinipur, Paschim Medinipur, Alipurduar, Jalpaiguri, Birbhum and Howrah). They sell both frozen raw meat and dressed and processed meat items.

Apart from chicken and mutton, unconventional meat like rabbit, dressed peking duck and dressed turkey will be available, he further said. The shops will also sell ready-to-eat meat dishes.

Exotic dishes like gandhoraj rabbit, duck mussallam and duck roast are already offered at the Kaviar outlets in operation.

The planned prices of the raw meats per kilogram are as follows:

  • Quail (five pieces) – Rs 220
  • Duck – Rs 350
  • Lamb – Rs 480
  • Turkey – Rs 510
  • Rabbit – Rs 550
  • Goat – Rs 550

 

Looking at the popularity of cooked meat dishes at the recently-held Ahare Bangla food festival in Kolkata, the WBLSDC authorities have planned to cash in on that.

Trinamool MPs of both Houses today protested near the Gandhi statue in Parliament premises against the attacks on migrant labourers in various States. The MPs raised slogans, demanding that the Centre breaks its silence on the issue.

The party also filed a Notice under Rule 267 to suspend all business and take up an immediate discussion on the rising incidents of violence against the migrant labourers. Chief Whip of the party in Rajya Sabha, Sukhendu Sekhar Roy urged the Chair to suspend all business. Party MPs descended the well, too.

Also, Sukhendu Sekhar Roy also raised a Point of Order on the disparaging remarks of a Union Minister against the Constitution of India. He said, “Whether a person holding the rank of Cabinet Minister in the Government of India can denounce the Preamble of the Constitution? Can he be allowed to continue as a Minister?”

ভিনরাজ্যে কাজ করতে যাওয়া বাঙালি শ্রমিকদের ওপর আক্রমণের বিভিন্ন ঘটনার প্রতিবাদে আজ তৃণমূল সাংসদরা সংসদ চত্ত্বরে গান্ধী মূর্তির নিকটে ধর্ণা দেন। এই ইস্যুতে কেন্দ্রীয় সরকারচুপ কেন তা নিয়েও সরব হন তারা। প্রধানমন্ত্রীর বিবৃতিও দাবি করেন সাংসদরা।

রাজ্যসভায় দলের মুখ্যসচেতক সুখেন্দু শেখর রায় ২৬৭ ধারায় নোটিশ দেন যাতে সংসদের অধিবেশন মুলতুবি করে এই বিষয়ে আলোচনা করা যায়। তৃণমূল সাংসদরা ওয়েলে নেমে প্রতিবাদ করেন।

পাশাপাশি, সুখেন্দু শেখর রায় এক কেন্দ্রীয় মন্ত্রীর সংবিধান-বিরোধী মন্তব্যের তীব্র নিন্দা করেন। তিনি বলেন, একজন কেন্দ্রীয় মন্ত্রী কি করে সংবিধানকে অশ্রদ্ধা করতে পারেন। তাকে কি মন্ত্রী হিসেবে কাজ চালিয়ে যেতে দেওয়া উচিত?

সমাজবাদী পার্টি ও বহুজন সমাজ পার্টির সাংসদরাও তৃণমূলের সাথে প্রতিবাদে অংশ নেন।

Trinamool MPs from both the Houses staged a dharna today in front of the Gandhi statue in Parliament premises, protesting against linking Aadhaar to social sector schemes, and the leak of sensitive Aadhaar data on government websites.

Trinamool Chairperson Mamata Banerjee had earlier said that she would rather have her phone disconnected than submit to the new rule requiring every citizen to link their Aadhaar card number to their mobile number. “I will not link Aadhaar with my phone, if they want to disconnect my phone, let them,” she had said.

 

আধার ইস্যুতে সংসদ চত্বরে ধর্ণায় তৃণমূল

সামাজিক প্রকল্পগুলির সঙ্গে আধার কার্ডের সংযুক্তিকরণ ও কেন্দ্রীয় সরকারের ওয়েবসাইট থেকে আধারের তথ্য ফাঁস হওয়ার বিরুদ্ধে আজ সংসদ চত্ত্বরে ধর্ণা দেন তৃণমূল সাংসদরা।

তৃণমূল নেত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় আগেই ঘোষণা করেছিলেন, তিনি নিজের মোবাইল নম্বরের সঙ্গে আধার কার্ড জুড়বেন না, দরকার হলে তাঁর মোবাইলের সংযোগ বিচ্ছিন্ন করা হোক।

তিনি বলেন, “আমি চ্যালেঞ্জ নিয়ে বলছি, মোবাইল নম্বরের জন্য আধার কার্ড দেব না। তাতে যদি আমার নম্বর কেটে দেয়, কেটে দেবে। ব্যক্তিগত গোপনীয়তা আমার অধিকার।”

তিনি টুইট করে বলেন, ‘‘আধার অত্যন্ত বিপজ্জনক। আমি নিজে ইউনিক কার্ডের পক্ষপাতি। একটাই কার্ড হোক। ১০টা কার্ড তো আর হয় না। কিন্তু, আধার কার্ডের নাম করে মানুষের তথ্য ওয়েবসাইটে দিয়ে দেওয়া হচ্ছে সেটা বিপজ্জনক। এটা ডেঞ্জারাস ফর দ্য সোসাইটি। ডেনঞ্জারাস ফর দ্যা ইনডিভিজুয়াল। ডেঞ্জারাস ফর দ্য কান্ট্রি।’’
