Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has wished the people on the occasions of the harvest festivals of various communities.

Over today and yesterday, she has wished the people, through Twitter, on the occasions of Nabanna (Poush Sankranti), Lohri, Bihu (Magh or Bhogali Bihu) and Pongal.

Yesterday, she had also extended her best wishes to all pilgrims who had arrived in Bengal to travel to the island of Ganga Sagar, to take a holy dip at the confluence of the river Ganga and the Bay of Bengal and offer prayers in the Kapil Muni Temple, on the occasion of Makar Sankranti (called Poush Sankranti in Bengal).

 

পৌষ সংক্রান্তি, লোরী, মাঘ বিহু এবং পোঙ্গালের শুভেচ্ছা জানালেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী

বিভিন্ন রাজ্যের বিভিন্ন সম্প্রদায়ের মানুষকে আজকের এই নতুন ফসল তোলার দিনে শুভেচ্ছা জানালেন বাংলার মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়।

গতকাল ও আজ টুইটারের সকলকে পৌষ সংক্রান্তি, লোরী, বিহু (মাঘ ও ভোগালি) ও পোঙ্গাল উপলক্ষে শুভেচ্ছা জানিয়েছেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী।

গতকাল সোশ্যাল মিডিয়ায় তিনি মকর সংক্রান্তি উপলক্ষে গঙ্গাসাগর মেলায় আগত সকল তীর্থযাত্রীদেরও অভিনন্দন  জানিয়েছেন।
