Over the last six-and-a-half years, the Trinamool Congress Government has undertaken large-scale developmental activities in Bankura.

Health and Family Welfare

Health district: Health district created – Bishnupur

Multi/Super-speciality hospitals: 4 set up in Barjora, Onda, Chatna and Bishnupur

Fair-price medicine shops: 5 set up – at Bankura Sammilani Medical College and Hospital, Bishnupur District Hospital, Taldangra and Sonamukhi Rural Hospitals, and Khatra Subdivisional Hospital; buying from these fair-price shops has resulted in more than 12.24 lakh people getting discounts of more than Rs16.46crore

Fair-price diagnostic centres: 6 set up at Bankura Sammilani Medical College and Hospital and Bishnupur District Hospital

SNSU: 20 sick newborn stabilisation units set up in Raipur, Barjora, Chatna, Indus, Indpur, Kanchanpur, Onda, Radhanagar, Ranibandh, Simlapal, Sarenga, Khatra, Amarkanan, Kotulpur, Sonamukhi, Taldangra, Saltora, Patrasayer, Mejia and Joypur

SNCU: 2 sick newborn care units set up at Bankura Sammilani Medical College and Hospital and Bishnupur District Hospital

CCU/HDU: 3 critical care units and high-dependency units set up at Bankura Sammilani Medical College and Hospital, Bishnupur District Hospital and KhatraSubdivisional Hospital

MCH: Mother and Child Hub set up at Bankura Sammilani Medical College and Hospital; Skills Lab also started there

SwasthyaSathi: About 3.7 lakh people enrolled

SishuSathi: About 900 children successfully operated on

Utkarsh Bangla: About30,000 youths being given skills training

SaboojSathi: More than 2.73 lakh school children given bicycles
Model schools: 8 set up in Mejia, Chatna, Onda, Patrasayer, Saltora, Indpur, Hirbandh and Ranibandh blocks

Upgrading of schools: About 90Madhyamik schools upgraded to Higher Secondary

Mid-Day Meals: Mid-day meals being given in all schools, which has markedly improved attendance

Toilets: Separate toilets for boys and girls built in all schools

 

Land Reforms, Agriculture and Animal Resources Development

Nijo Griha Nijo Bhumi: 6,000 landless families handed over patta, and more than11,000 agricultural and forest land patta handed over

Kisan Credit Cards: About 99% of eligible farmer families given KCCs

KisanMandi: 9 set up in Bankura-1, Indus, Bishnupur, Patrasayer, Saltora, Joypur, Onda, Kotulpur and Chatna blocks

Panchayats and Rural Development

MGNREGS (100 Days’ Work Scheme): About 7.35 crore person-days created at an expenditure of more than Rs1,500crore

Best performing GP: For FY 2013-14, Lego Gram Panchayat in Kotulpur block awarded the country’s best-performing Gram Panchayat

Rural housing: 1.34 lakh people benefitted; on January 29, 2018, it was announced that about 26,000 people would be distributed houses under various schemes

Rural roads: About 1,500 km roads built under GrameenSadakYojana; another about 1,120 km being built/renovated

Samabyathi: About 12,800 people benefitted from this scheme

ODF: Bankura has been declared a ‘NirmalZila’, that is, open defecation-free (ODF); 3.2 lakh toilets built, which is about 72% of the target

 

Minorities’ Development

Scholarships: About 2.7 lakh students from minority communities given scholarships worth about Rs70crore

Swami Vivekananda Swanirbhar Karmasuchi Prakalpa: Youths given loans worth about Rs15crore

IMDP: About Rs 23 crore spent for various schemes under Integrated Minority Development Programme (IMDP) – more than 1,340 health sub-centres, additional classrooms, anganwadicentres, houses, etc.

Karmatirtha: 12Karmatirthas built to increase employment of local people, Barjora, Patrasayer, Bishnupur, Onda, Simlapal, Sonamukhi (two), Raipur, Chatna, Bankura-1 (two) and Ranibandh blocks

 

Backward Classes Welfare Department

Shikshashree: More than 3.57 lakh students have received scholarships under the scheme

SC/ST/OBC certificates: More than 3.12 lakh people handed over SC/ST/OBC certificates

Language promotion: To promote the Santhali language, a paper on Santhali made an elective paper in WBCS; school text books being printed in OlChiki script (used for writing Santhali)

Jaher Than maintenance: Granting pattas for, and fencing of Jaher Than sacred groves

 

Jangalmahal Unnayan

JAP: Under State Government’s Jangalmahal Action Plan, special developmental work being undertaken in 34 blocks in Bankura, Jhargram, Bankura, Jhargram and Birbhum; Rs 110 crore allocated

Jalatirtha: To help in irrigation, building of check dams and water storage tanks being undertaken over 32,000 hectares (ha) at a cost of Rs 500 crore under Jalatirtha Scheme

Employment: More than 33,000 youths in the Jangalmahal region enrolled in the Employment Bank got employment in police forces

 

Women and Child Development and Social Welfare

Kanyashree: More than 2.1 lakh girls brought under the ambit of the Kanyashree Scheme

 

Food security

KhadyaSathi: As part of the scheme, about 92% of the eligible population of Bankura (more than 33.11 lakh) being given foodgrains at Rs 2 per kg (or at half the market price)

 

Industry

Industrial parks: 4 industrial parks set up – BarjoraSteel – Phase I, Phase II, Phase III and Bishnupur Industrial Growth Centre; 1 IT park set up in Barjora

MSME: 30 MSME clusters established in the micro, small and medium enterprises sector – among which the important ones are Murlu Roofing Tiles Cluster in Saltora, 4 brass utensils clusters in Kenjakura, Lalbazar (both in Bankura-1 block), Suklai (Onda block) and Pukuria (Simlapal block), dokra cluster in Bankura-2 block, stone works cluster in Susunia (Chatna block), sal leaf plate-making cluster in Raipur and 4 handloom clusters in Bankura-1 block, Bishnupur, Sonamukhi and Indpur; bank loans worth more than Rs 3,530 crore given

 

PWD and Transport

Projects completed: PWD Department has completed more than 95 projects like roads, bridges, etc. by investing about Rs1,520crore

Roads: About 950 km of roads built/re-built/widened including Bankura-Durgapur road, Barjora-Mejia road, Ranibandh-Jhilmili road, Krishnapur-Raipur-Phulkusma-Benagaria road, Bishnupur-Kotulpur-Joyrambati-Kamarpukur road, Gangajalghati-Saltora road

Bridges: 3 bridges built – on Gandeshwari river at Satighat on Bankura-Durgapur road, on Dwarakeswarriver along Dalpur-Bishpuria road and over GargariaKadakhal

Baitarani: As part of Baitarani Scheme, 39 burning ghats being renovated and 1 electric furnace being constructed

Gatidhara: Through Gatidhara Scheme, about 220 youths managed to buy vehicles for commercial use

Traffic awareness programmes: Safe Drive Save Life and Slow Drive Save Life traffic awareness programmes have reduced accidents by a significant number

 

Power – Non-renewable and Renewable Energy

Sabar Ghare Alo: Through implementation of SabarGhareAlo Scheme, 100% rural electrification achieved

 

Irrigation

Irrigation:About 30 km of dams repaired

 

Public Health Engineering

Projects completed: Public Health Engineering Department has completed 24 projects at a cost of about Rs1,110crore

Drinking water projects: State’s largest drinking water project, to benefit more than 18 lakh people of 2,053 mouzas in Bankura district, coming up at a cost of about Rs 1,100 crore; 161 solar power-based piped drinking water projects completed in Simlapal, Sarenga, Raipur and Ranibandh blocks

 

Forest and Tourism

Sabujshree: Saplings given to more than 28,000 newborns (as per the scheme, after crossing 18 years of age, the tree will be sold and the student’s education funded out of that money)

Tourism: 2 eco-tourism projects completed in Patrasayer and Susunia; tourist centres coming up at Biharinath Temple, and in Jairambati and Mukutmanipur; homestay tourism coming up in Bankura; work going on for Bankura-Purulia Tourism Circuit

 

Labour

Samajik Suraksha Yojana: 2.6 lakh workers from the unorganised sector documented – of these, about 43,000 beneficiaries have received benefits to the tune of more than Rs 19 crore

Yuvashree: About 12,000 youths given allowances under this scheme

 

Self-Help Group and Self-Employment

Anandadhara: About 34,000 self-help groups set up
Swami Vivekananda SwanirbharKarmasuchiPrakalpa: About 11,000 ventures approved, for which a total grant of about Rs75crore given

বাঁকুড়া জেলার উন্নয়ন – এক নজরে

রাজ্য ও অন্যান্য জেলার সঙ্গে তাল মিলিয়ে অভূতপূর্ব উন্নয়ন ঘটেছে বাঁকুড়া জেলায়

স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার কল্যাণঃ

  • বিষ্ণুপুরকে পৃথক স্বাস্থ্য জেলা হিসেবে গড়ে তোলা হচ্ছে।
  • এর মধ্যে, এই জেলার বড়জোড়া, ওন্দা, ছাত্না এবং বিষ্ণুপুরে গড়ে উঠেছে ৪টি নতুন মাল্টি-সুপার স্পেসালিটি হাসপাতাল।
  • বাঁকুড়া সম্মিলনী, বিষ্ণুপুর, তালডাংড়া, সোনামুখী ও খাতরা মহকুমা হাসপাতালে ৫টি ন্যায্য মূল্যের ঔষধের দোকান চালু হয়ে গেছে। জেলার এই সকল ন্যায্য মূল্যের ওষুধের দোকান থেকে ওষুধ কেনার ফলে, ১২ লক্ষ ২৪ হাজারেরও বেশি মানুষ, ১৬ কোটি ৪৬ লক্ষ টাকারও বেশি ছাড় পেয়েছেন।
  • বাঁকুড়া সম্মিলনী ও বিষ্ণুপুর জেলা হাসপাতালে ৬টি ডায়াগনস্টিক পরিষেবা চালু হয়ে গেছে।
  • এই জেলায় ২০টি SNSU চালু হয়ে গেছে (রাইপুর, বড়জোড়া, ছাত্না, ইন্দাস, ইন্দপুর, কাঞ্চনপুর, ওন্দা, রাধানগর, রানীবাঁধ, সিমলাপাল, সারেঙ্গা, খাতড়া, অমরকানন, কোতুলপুর,সোনামুখী, তালডাংরা, শালতোড়া, পাত্রসায়ের, মেজিয়া ও জয়পুর)।
  • বাঁকুড়া সম্মিলনী ও বিষ্ণুপুর জেলা হাসপাতালে ২টি SNCU চালু হয়ে গেছে।
  • বাঁকুড়া সম্মিলনী, বিষ্ণুপু্র,‌ খাতড়া মহকুমা হাসপাতালে ৩টি CCU/HDU চালু হয়ে গেছে।
  • বাঁকুড়া সম্মিলনী হাসপাতালে Mother & Child Hub, ক্রিটিক্যাল কেয়ার ইউনিট ও স্কিলস ল্যাব গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
  • ‘স্বাস্থ্য সাথী’ প্রকল্পে এই জেলায় প্রায় ৩ লক্ষ ৭০ হাজারেরও বেশি মানুষ নথিভুক্ত হয়েছেন।
  • ‘শিশু সাথী’ প্রকল্পে এই জেলার ৯০০টিরও বেশি বাচ্চার সফল অস্ত্রোপচার করা হয়েছে

 

শিক্ষাঃ

  • এই জেলায়, গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে নতুন বাঁকুড়া বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ও ছাত্নায় বিধান চন্দ্র কৃষি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়।
  • এই জেলায় ৩টি নতুন সরকারি কলেজ গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে (ইন্দাস, রানীবাঁধ ও মেজিয়া)।
  • সিমলাপাল, খাতড়া, সোনামুখী, বড়জোড়া, ইন্দপুর ও রানীবাঁধে ৬টি নতুন আইটিআই কলেজ নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে।
  • বাঁকুড়া ও রাইপুরে ২টি নতুন পলিটেকনিক কলেজ গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
  • ‘উৎকর্ষ বাংলা’ কর্মসূচিতে, জেলার ৩০ হাজারেরও বেশি যুবক যুবতীকে প্রশিক্ষণ দেওয়া হয়েছে।
  • এই জেলায়, ২ লক্ষ ৭৩ হাজারেরও বেশি ছাত্রছাত্রীকে ‘সবুজসাথী’ প্রকল্পে সাইকেল প্রদান করা হয়েছে।
  • মেজিয়া, ছাতনা, ওন্দা, পাত্রসায়র, শালতোড়া, ইন্দপুর, হীড়বাঁধ ও রানীবাঁধে ৮টি নতুন মডেল স্কুল নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে।
  • জেলায় গত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, প্রায় ৯০টি মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়কে উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয় স্তরে উন্নীত করা হয়েছে।
  • সব স্কুলে মিড ডে মিল চলছে, যার ফলে পুষ্টি ও উপস্থিতির হার বেড়েছে এবং স্কুল-ছুট ছাত্রছাত্রীদের সংখ্যা কমেছে।
  • প্রতিটি বিদ্যালয়ে ছেলে ও মেয়েদের জন্য পৃথক শৌচাগার নির্মিত হয়েছে।

 

ভূমি সংস্কার, কৃষি ও পশুপালনঃ

  • জেলার ৬ হাজার যোগ্য ভূমিহীন পরিবারের হাতে ‘নিজ গৃহ নিজ ভূমি’ প্রকল্পে পাট্টা তুলে দেওয়া হয়েছে। এছাড়া, ১১ হাজারেরও বেশি কৃষি ও বনাধিকার পাট্টা প্রদান করা হয়েছে।
  • এই জেলায় প্রায় ৯৯% কৃষক পরিবারকে কিষাণ ক্রেডিট কার্ডের আওতাভুক্ত করা হয়েছে। বাকিদেরও খুব দ্রুত কিষাণ ক্রেডিট কার্ড প্রদান করা হচ্ছে।
  • এই জেলার বাকুরা-১, ইন্দাস, বিষ্ণুপুর, পাত্রসায়ের, শালতোড়া, জয়পুর, ওন্দা, কোতুলপুর ও ছাতনায় ৯টি ‘কিষাণ মান্ডি’ গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
  • জেলায় প্রাণী সম্পদ উন্নয়ন দপ্তর, ২৯ লক্ষ ১৫ হাজারেরও বেশি হাঁস ও মুরগীর বাচ্চা বিতরণ করেছে।

 

পঞ্চায়েত ও গ্রামোন্নয়নঃ

  • এই জেলায় ১০০ দিনের কাজে, ১৫০০ কোটি টাকারও বেশি ব্যয় করে প্রায় ৭ কোটি ৩৫ লক্ষ শ্রম দিবস সৃষ্টি হয়েছে।
  • ২০১৩-১৪ সালে, ১০০ দিনের কাজে শ্রেষ্ঠ গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েত হিসেবে দেশ সেরার পুরষ্কার পেয়েছিল বাঁকুড়া জেলার কোতুলপুর ব্লকের লেগো গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েত।
  • জেলার প্রায় ১ লক্ষ ৩৪ হাজার মানুষ গ্রামীণ আবাসন যোজনায় উপকৃত হয়েছেন।
  • এই জেলার আরও প্রায় ২৬ হাজার উপভোক্তাকে বাড়ি তৈরির সহায়তা দেওয়া হয়েছে
  • জেলায় গ্রামীণ সড়ক যোজনায় প্রায় ১৫০০ কিমি রাস্তা নির্মিত হয়েছে।
  • জেলায় গ্রামীণ সড়ক যোজনায় প্রায় ১১২০ কিমি রাস্তা নির্মাণ/সংস্কারের সূচনা করা হয়েছে।
  • ‘সমব্যাথী’ প্রকল্পে জেলার প্রায় ১২ হাজার ৮০০ জন উপকৃত হয়েছে।
  • জেলায় ‘মিশন নির্মল বাংলা’ প্রকল্পে, প্রায় ৩ লক্ষ ২০ হাজার শৌচালয় নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে – যা লক্ষ্যমাত্রার ৭২%।

 

সংখ্যালঘু উন্নয়নঃ

  • বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, এই জেলার প্রায় ২ লক্ষ ৭০ হাজার সংখ্যালঘু ছাত্রছাত্রীকে, প্রায় ৭০ কোটি টাকা স্কলারশিপ দেওয়া হয়েছে।
  • এছাড়া, স্বনির্ভরতার জন্য সংখ্যালঘু যুবক-যুবতীদের, প্রায় ১৫ কোটি টাকা ঋণ দেওয়া হয়েছে।
  • IMDP-তে, প্রায় ২৩ কোটি টাকা ব্যয় করে সংখ্যালঘু সম্প্রদায়ের উন্নয়নে বিভিন্ন প্রকল্প রূপায়িত করা হয়েছে।
  • এই প্রকল্পে জেলায় ১৩৪০ টিরও বেশি হেল্থ সাব-সেন্টার, অতিরিক্ত শ্রেণী কক্ষ, অঙ্গনওয়ারী কেন্দ্র, বাসগৃহ ইত্যাদি গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
  • এর মধ্যে, এই জেলায় বড়জোড়া, পাত্রসায়ের, বিষ্ণুপুর, ওন্দা, সিমলাপাল, সোনামুখী (২টি), রাইপুর, ছাত্না, বাঁকুড়া-১ (২টি) ও রানীবাঁধে ১২টি ‘কর্মতীর্থ’ গড়ে তোলা হচ্ছে

 

অনগ্রসর কল্যাণ ও আদিবাসী উন্নয়নঃ

  • বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, এই জেলায় ৩ লক্ষ ৫৭ হাজারেরও বেশি ছাত্র-ছাত্রী ‘শিক্ষাশ্রী’ প্রকল্পে সহায়তা পেয়েছে।
  • জেলায় বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, ৩ লক্ষ ১২ হাজারেরও বেশি SC/ST/OBC Certificate প্রদান করা হয়েছে।
  • সাঁওতালী ভাষাকে বিশেষ মর্যাদা দিয়ে WBCS পরীক্ষায় ঐচ্ছিক বিষয় হিসেবে অন্তর্ভুক্ত করা হয়েছে। অলচিকি লিপিতে স্কুলের পাঠ্যপুস্তক প্রকাশ করা হচ্ছে।
  • জাহের থানের পাট্টা ও সেগুলির চারিদিকে প্রাচীর দেওয়া হচ্ছে।

 

নারী ও শিশু উন্নয়ন এবং সমাজকল্যাণঃ

  • এই জেলায়, ২ লক্ষ ১০ হাজারেরও বেশি ছাত্রী ‘কন্যাশ্রী’র আওতায় এসেছে।

 

খাদ্য সুরক্ষা কর্মসূচী-‘খাদ্য সাথী’ প্রকল্পঃ

  • এই জেলায় ১০০% যোগ্য মানুষকে (প্রায় ৩৩ লক্ষ ১১ হাজারেরও বেশি মানুষকে), ২/- টাকা কেজি দরে (অথবা বাজার দরের অর্ধেক দামে)খাদ্যশস্য দেওয়া হচ্ছে- যা জেলার জনসংখ্যার প্রায় ৯২%।

 

শিল্পঃ

  • জেলায় ৪টি Industrial Park তৈরি করা হয়েছে (বড়জোড়ায় প্লাস্টো স্টিল পার্ক – ১ম, ২য়, ৩য় পর্যায় এবং বিষ্ণুপুর ইন্ডাস্ট্রিয়াল গ্রোথ সেন্টার)।
  • বড়জোড়ায় ১টি আইটি পার্ক গড়ে উঠেছে।
  • জেলায় ক্ষুদ্র, ছোট ও মাঝারি উদ্যোগের ৩০টি ক্লাস্টার গড়ে উঠেছে। এগুলির মধ্যে উল্লেখযোগ্য হল-
  • শালতোড়ায় একটি মুরলু রুফিং টাইলসের ক্লাস্টার।
  • বাঁকুড়া-১-এর কেঞ্জাকুড়া ও লালবাজার, ওন্দার সুকলাই এবং সিমলাপালের পুকুরিয়ায় ৪টি পিতলের ক্লাস্টার।
  • বাঁকুড়া-২-এ একটি ডোক্রার ক্লাস্টার।
  • ছাতনায় শুশুনিয়ায় একটি পাথরের কাজের ক্লাস্টার
  • রাইপুরে ২টি শালপাতার থালার ক্লাস্টার
  • বাঁকুড়া-১, বিষ্ণুপুর ও সোনামুখী পৌরসভা এবং ইন্দপুড়ে ৪টি হ্যান্ডলুম ক্লাস্টার প্রভৃতি
  • ক্ষুদ্র শিল্পের ক্ষেত্রে এই জেলায় ৩৫৩০ কোটি টাকারও বেশি ব্যাঙ্ক ঋণ প্রদান করা হয়েছে।

 

পূর্ত ও পরিবহনঃ

  • বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, এই জেলার পূর্ত দপ্তর ১২০টির বেশি রাস্তাঘাট, ব্রীজ ইত্যাদি প্রকল্প রূপায়ণের কাজ হাতে নিয়েছে, যার মধ্যে ৯৫ টিরও বেশী প্রকল্পের কাজ প্রায় ১৫২০ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে ইতিমধ্যেই সমাপ্ত হয়েছে। এর ফলে, প্রচুর মানুষ উপকৃত হয়েছেন। বাকী প্রকল্পের কাজ খুব শীঘ্রই সমাপ্ত হবে।
  • জেলার সড়ক ব্যবস্থা উন্নয়নে বিশেষ গুরুত্ব দেওয়া হয়েছে। জেলায় বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, প্রায় ৯৫০ কিমি রাস্তা নির্মাণ/পুননির্মান/সম্প্রসারন ও উন্নীতকরণের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।
  • এর মধ্যে উল্লেখযোগ্য হলঃ
    • বাঁকুড়া – দুর্গাপুর রাস্তা,

  • বৈতরণী প্রকল্পে, ৩৯টি শ্মশান-ঘাটের উন্নয়ন সহ ১টি বিদ্যুতের চুল্লি বসানোর কাজ চলছে।
  • বাঁকুড়া – দুর্গাপুর রাস্তার সতীঘাটে গন্ধেশ্বরী নদীর ওপর, দলপুর-বিষপুরিয়া রাস্তায় দ্বারকেশ্বর নদীর ওপর এবং গড়্গড়িয়া কাদাখালের ওপর ৩টি সেতু নির্মাণ করা হচ্ছে
  • এই জেলার প্রায় ২২০ জন যুবক-যুবতী গাড়ি কেনার ঋণ পেয়ে আত্মনির্ভর হয়েছেন।হাতে নেওয়া হয়েছে, Safe Drive Save Life এবং Slow Drive Save Life কর্মসূচী। ফলে, উল্লেখযোগ্য ভাবে কমেছে দুর্ঘটনা এবং হতাহতের সংখ্যা।

 

বিদ্যুৎ ও অচিরাচরিত শক্তিঃ

  • সমগ্র জেলায় ‘সবার ঘরে আলো’ প্রকল্পে, ১০০% গ্রামীণ বৈদ্যুতিকরণের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।

 

সেচঃ

  • জেলায় প্রায় ৩০কিমি দৈর্ঘ্যের বাঁধ সংরক্ষণের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।

 

জনস্বাস্থ্য কারিগরীঃ

  • বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, ৩৯ টি জলপ্রল্পের কাজ শুরু হয়েছে, এর মধ্যে প্রায় ১১০০ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে ২৪ টির কাজ সমাপ্ত হয়েছে। এর ফলে জেলার প্রচুর মানুষ উপকৃত হচ্ছেন। বাকি জলপ্রকল্পগুলির কাজ শীঘ্রই সমাপ্ত হবে।
  • হাতে নেওয়া হয়েছে প্রায় ১১০০ কোটি টাকার রাজ্যের অন্যতম বৃহৎ পানীয় জল সরবরাহ প্রকল্প। এটি রাজ্যের অন্যতম বৃহৎ পানীয় জল সরবরাহ প্রকল্প। এর ফলে, পুরুলিয়া জেলার ২০৫৩ টি মৌজার ১৮ লক্ষেরও বেশী মানুষ উপকৃত হবেন
  • সিমলাপাল, সারেঙ্গা, রাইপুর ও রানীবাঁধে, ১৬১টি সৌর বিদ্যুৎ চালিত নলবাহিত জল্প্রকল্প চালু হয়ে গেছে।

 

বন ও পর্যটনঃ

  • ‘সবুজশ্রী’ প্রকল্পে, ২৮ হাজারেরও বেশী সদ্যোজাত শিশুকে মূল্যবান গাছের চারা দেওয়া হয়েছে। ১৮ বছর উত্তীর্ণ হলে, গাছ বিক্রির টাকায় শিশুটির পড়াশোনা, বিয়ে ইত্যাদির খরচ মেটানো যাবে।
  • পাত্রসায়র ও শুশুনিয়াতে ২টি ইকো-ট্যুরিজম প্রকল্প চালু করা হয়েছে।
  • বিহারীনাথ, জয়রামবাটী ও মুকুটমণিপুরে পর্যটন কেন্দ্র গড়ে তোলা হচ্ছে।
  • হাতে নেওয়া হয়েছে বাঁকুড়া হোমস্টে ট্যুরিজম ও বাঁকুড়া-পুরুলিয়া ট্যুরিজম সার্কিটের কাজ।

 

শ্রমঃ

  • এই জেলায় ‘সামাজিক সুরক্ষা যোজনা’য়, প্রায় ২ লক্ষ ৬০ হাজার অসংগঠিত ক্ষেত্রের শ্রমিক নথিভুক্ত হয়েছেন। এখনো পর্যন্ত, প্রায় ৪৩ হাজার উপভোক্তা, ১৯ কোটি টাকারও বেশি সহয়তা পেয়েছেন।
  • ‘যুবশ্রী’ প্রকল্পে, এই জেলার প্রায় ২ হাজার যুবক-যুবতী উৎসাহ ভাতা পাচ্ছেন।

 

স্বনির্ভর দল ও স্বনিযুক্তি কর্মসুচীঃ

  • ‘আনন্দধারা’ প্রকল্পে, প্রায় ৩৪ হাজার স্বনির্ভর দল গঠিত হয়েছে।
  • বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছর, ‘স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ স্বনির্ভর কর্মসূচী প্রকল্পে’, প্রায় ১১ হাজার উদ্যোগকে অনুমোদন দেওয়া হয়েছে এবং প্রায় ৭৫ কোটি টাকা অনুদান প্রদান করা হয়েছে।
  • বাঁকুড়া-১, পাত্রসায়ের, শালতোড়া, ইন্দাস, কোতুলপুর, ছাত্না, বিশ্নুপুর ও জয়পুর ব্লকে ৮টি কর্মতীর্থ গড়ে উঠেছে।

 

পুর ও নগরোন্নয়নঃ

  • মুকুটমণিপুর অঞ্চলের নির্দিষ্ট উন্নয়নের লক্ষ্যে গঠন করা হয়েছে ‘মুকুটমণিপুর উন্নয়ন কর্তৃপক্ষ’। উন্নয়ন খাতে বরাদ্দ করা হয়েছে প্রায় সাড়ে ১২ কোটি টাকা। সংশ্লিষ্ট অঞ্চলের পরিকাঠামো উন্নয়ন, যোগাযোগ ব্যবস্থার উন্নতি, সৌন্দর্জায়ন ইত্যাদি করা হয়েছে। হাটে নেওয়া হয়েছে ভ্রমনার্থীদের জন্য ই-রিক্সা, উন্নত মানের নৌকা, বর্জ্য ব্যবস্থাপনা ইত্যাদি প্রকল্প।
  • জেলায় ৩টি মিউনিসিপ্যালিটি, ১০০কোটি টাকারও বেশী পরিকল্পনা খাতে ব্যয় করেছে।
  • শহরাঞ্চলের গরীবদের জন্যে বাসস্থান প্রকল্পে, প্রায় ২ হাজার ৭০০ জন মানুষ উপকৃত হয়েছেন।

 

তথ্য ও সংস্কৃতিঃ

  • এই জেলায় ৩১ হাজারেরও বেশী লোকশিল্পী, ‘লোকপ্রসার প্রকল্পে’ রিটেনার ফি ও পেনশন পাচ্ছেন।
  • বাঁকুড়া রবীন্দ্রভবনকে নবরূপে সাজিয়ে তোলা হয়েছে।

 

আবাসনঃ

  • জেলায় আর্থিক ভাবে দুর্বল মানুষদের জন্যে গীতাঞ্জলী ও অন্যান্য প্রকল্পে প্রায় ২০ হাজার মানুষ উপকৃত হয়েছেন।
  • ভ্রমনার্থীদের সুবিধা এবং স্থানীয় মানুষের কর্মসংস্থানের জন্য বাঁকুড়ার শালগারায় ১টি ‘পথসাথী’-মোটেল গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।

 

ক্রীড়া ও যুব কল্যাণঃ

  • ক্রীড়ার মান উন্নয়নে জেলায় ৫৯৫টিরও বেশী ক্লাবকে ২০কোটি টাকারও বেশী অর্থ সাহায্য করা হয়েছে।
  • জেলায় প্রায় ১১০টি মাল্টি জিম ২৫টি মিনি ইন্ডোর স্টেডিয়াম, প্রায় ৮ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
  • খাতড়ায় স্পোর্টস আকাদেমি গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে
  • নতুন প্রতিভার অন্বেষণে নিয়মিত ভাবে আয়োজিত হচ্ছে বার্ষিক ‘জঙ্গলমহল কাপ’ ক্রীড়া প্রতিযোগিতা।

 

পশ্চিমাঞ্চল উন্নয়নঃ-

  • পশ্চিমাঞ্চল উন্নয়ন বিষয়ক দপ্তর জলসংরক্ষণ, সেচ, কৃষি, শিক্ষা, স্বাস্থ্য, সড়ক নিরমাইন, পানীয় জলের ব্যবস্থা প্রভৃতি প্রকল্পগুলি অগ্রাধিকার ভিত্তিতে রূপায়ন করেছে।
  • জল সংরক্ষণের জন্যে পশ্চিমাঞ্চল উন্নয়ন বিষয়ক দপ্তর, জঙ্গলমহল এলাকায় একাধিক চেক ড্যাম নির্মাণের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।
  • পাশাপাশি, লাক্ষা চাষের উৎপাদন বাড়িয়ে এই অঞ্চলের মানুষের কর্মসংস্থানের সুযোগ বৃদ্ধি করা হয়েছে।

 

আইন শৃঙ্খলাঃ

  • গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে নতুন মেদিনীপুর বিভাগ।
  • এই জেলায় স্থাপন করা হয়েছে নতুন বাঁকুড়া মহিলা থানা।

West Bengal Chief Minister on Friday visited an ailing tribal lady in a remote village in Bankura district. The Chief Minister is currently on a tour of Jangalmahal.

Breaking protocol and deviating from her schedule, Mamata Banerjee – fondly called Didi – stopped her car midway and went to meet this tribal family.

The Chief Minister inquired about their well-being and wanted to know if they are getting rice at subsidised rates. She also asked if they received green ration cards.

In a freewheeling chat, she inquired about the lunch being prepared at the house. She also asked accompanying officials to renovate the house the family lived in.

Such ‘detours’ exemplify how despite occupying high office, Didi is grounded and humane.

West Bengal Chief Minister today flagged off the ‘Sabuj Sathi’ scheme for Bankura district at Khatra. She also inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 81 projects and schemes today.

Currently on a tour of Jangalmahal, the Chief Minister had visited Jhargram and Gopiballavpur earlier this week.

On her last day of Jangalmahal visit today, the Chief Minister inaugurated a slew of projects including Tarapith Police Station, Sabuj Dweep Eco Tourism Park, fair price medicine shops, parks, hostels for boys and girls, rickshaw stands, ambulances, roads, godowns, irrigation projects, administrative building at Simplipal police station among other things.

She also laid the foundation stone for over 20 other projects from the venue of her public meeting.

The Chief Minister also distributed cycles under Sabuj Sathi scheme and gave away certificates for Kanyashree, Yuvashree and other schemes. She also distributed land pattas, dhamsa and madol, power tillers, identity cards for folk artists, machines and equipment for farmers and artisans and slew of other benefits.

  • Jangalmahal is close to my heart. I love the Laal Mati (red soil). The bag I carry with me is named ‘Jangalmahal’
  • Centre has stopped giving funds for development in Jangalmahal. But we will continue the development initiatives with State funds
  • In 2013 I had announced a new university will come up in Bankura. Classes have began already
  • Earlier only foundation stones were laid and no work was done. Ichhe thaklei kaaj hoye (where there is a will, there is a way)
  • We have started the system of self-attestation in 43 cases. We have removed the system of affidavit in 31 cases
  • Thirteen new universities have been started in the last four years. We started 45 new colleges in 4 years
  • 45 new ITIs, 45 new polytechnic colleges have been set up. 130 new ITIs and 31 new polytechnic colleges are coming up
  • We believe in ‘Health For All’. We set up fair price medicine shops that provide up to 65% discount. Medicines and beds at govt hospitals are free
  • We have set up fair price diagnostic centres. Procedures like MRI, dialysis, CT Scan are offered at low cost
  • We have set up 32 critical care units, 10 High Dependency Units. We have developed ‘Breast Milk Bank’ named Madhur Sneho
  • There were no SNSUs in Bengal.We set up 301 such units. There were 6 SNCUs till 2011. Now there are 46 such units
  • There were only 1300 medical seats in Bengal till 2011. In last four years the number increased to 2900
  • New medical colleges are coming up in Bankura. New doctors will come up from the present generation
  • Four multi super speciality hospitals will be set up in Bankura district alone. 20-25 hospitals will be ready in 6 months
  • 69 lakh people have received Kisan Credit Cards. 32 lakh students have received scholarships
  • Onion is being cultivated in Bankura, where the soil condition was not conducive, through experiment
  • 3.2 crore people in Bengal receive rice at Rs 2/kilo. Soon more people will be given rice at Rs 3/kilo
  • We have started a social security scheme for kendu leaf collectors
  • We are setting up 500 Karma Tirtha marketing hubs across the State, 12 of which will be in Bankura
  • We have created reservation for OBCs and minorities without touching general seats. We created infrastructure for that
  • We have inaugurated a new police station at Tarapith today. We have started a new scheme called Jala Tirtha for water conservation
  • My govt is that of people. I work for the people. Bengal will shine in the world. We will become Biswa Bangla one day
