State Urban Development minister inaugurated the replicas of the Seven Wonders of the World at Eco Park on Saturday.

It may be mentioned that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had urged the Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation (HIDCO) authorities to set up replicas of the Seven Wonders which will be appreciated by those who love to travel. The replicas have come up on a three acre land.

The park houses the replicas of Taj Mahal, Christ — the Redeemer, the Colosseum, the Great Wall of China, the Easter Island statues, the Petra Jordan and the Pyramid. The facia of all the structures are made of fibre reinforced polymer which have been fixed on RCC and steel frames.

 

পৃথিবীর সাত আশ্চর্যের প্রতিলিপি এবার ইকো পার্কে

শনিবার নিউটাউনের ইকো পার্কে পৃথিবীর সাত আশ্চর্যের প্রতিলিপি উদ্বোধন করলেন রাজ্যের পুর ও নগরোন্নয়ন মন্ত্রী।

ইকো পার্কে তিন একর জমিতে গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে এই পপ্রতিলিপিগুলি। মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের নির্দেশেই এই প্রকল্পটি শুরু করে হিডকো।

প্রতিলিপিগুলির মধ্যে রয়েছে আগ্রার তাজ মহল, ব্রাজিলের ক্রাইস্ট দ্য রিডিমার, রোমের কলোসিয়াম, ইস্টার আইল্যান্ডের মূর্তিসমূহ, পেত্রা জর্দান, এমং মিশরের পিরামিড।

স্টিলের ফ্রেমের ওপর বসানো পলিমার-যুক্ত ফাইবারের তৈরী এই প্রতিলিপিগুলি দেখতে দর্শকদের ৩০ টাকা প্রবেশমূল্য দিতে হবে।
