Football fever is peaking in Bengal, what with the FIFA Under-17 World Cup being organised in Kolkata, which is one of the six venues across India, and also the venue for the final. Along with football, fish is another favourite of Bengalis.

Giving occasion to celebrate the combination of favourites – football and fish – the West Bengal Fisheries Development Corporation (WBFDC) is organising a fish festival across all its restaurants in Kolkata. The festival has been named after Gostho Paul, the first Bengali football icon of the country.

According to an official of WBFDC, the World Cup special menu has been named Football Fever and will be available from October 8 to 28 at select stalls, including the restaurants at Nalban, Eco Park, the State Secretariat, Nabanna and other places. It is priced at Rs 399 per plate.

The Football Fever thali (platter) comprises special jeera rice, googlie (a kind of pond snail) dribble, cooked in the style of fish kabiraji, googlie chop, crab crossbar, prawn malaikari and another prawn preparation named after football, Venmai penalty, which is prawn cooked with parsley leaves and lemon. Another dish, a variation of a Middle Eastern preparation, is also available and is called Ombuck Mustard Kick. To round it off, a dessert in the form of a sandesh named after the apex world football body, FIFA, has been added.

 

অনূর্ধ্ব ১৭ বিশ্বকাপ উপলক্ষে মৎস্য উৎসবের সূচনা রাজ্য সরকারের

ভারতের আর ৬টি শহরের মত কলকাতায় অনুষ্ঠিত হচ্ছে অনূর্ধ্ব ১৭ বিশ্বকাপ ফুটবল। কলকাতায় অনুষ্ঠিত হবে কোয়ার্টার ফাইনাল, তৃতীয় স্থান ও ফাইনালের মতো উল্লেখযোগ্য খেলা। তাই, ফুটবল বিশ্বকাপকে কেন্দ্র করে এই শহরে এখন টান টান উত্তেজনা।

ফুটবলের মত বাঙালির আরেক প্রিয় জিনিস হল মাছ। বিশ্বকাপকে মাথায় রেখে রাজ্য সরকারের মৎস্য দপ্তর আয়োজন করেছে মৎস্য উৎসবের। মৎস্য দপ্তর রাজ্যে তাদের সব রেস্তোরাঁগুলোতে এই উৎসবের আয়োজন করেছে। এই উৎসবের নাম রাখা হয়েছে ভারতের প্রথম বাঙালী ফুটবলের প্রাণপুরুষ গোষ্ঠ পালের নামে।

বিশ্বকাপের জন্য যে স্পেশ্যাল মেনু করা হয়েছে, তার নাম রাখা হয়েছে ‘ফুটবল ফিভার’। এই মেনুর খাবার পাওয়া যাবে অক্টোবরের ২৮ তারিখ পর্যন্ত। এই রেস্তরাঁগুলো আছে নলবনে, ইকো পার্ক, স্টেট সেক্রেটারিয়েট, নবান্নে ও অন্যান্য স্থানে। এই স্পেশ্যাল মেনুর খাবারের দাম রাখা হয়েছে ৩৯৯ টাকা প্রতি প্লেট।

এই স্পেশ্যাল থালিতে থাকছে, জিরা রাইস, ফিস কবিরাজির আদলে রান্না করা গুগলি, গুগলির চপ, কাঁকড়ার একটি পদ, চিংড়ির মালাইকারি, আরেকটি চিংড়ির পদ যার নাম ফুটবলের নামে রাখা হয়েছে, ভেনমাই পেনাল্টি।

আরেকটি মধ্যপ্রাচ্যের থালি তৈরি করা হয়েছে, নাম দেওয়া হয়েছে ওম্বাক মাস্তার্ড কিক। এই দুটি থালির শেষেই থাকবে একটি বিশেষ ধরনের সন্দেশ, যার নাম রাখা হয়েছে, ফিফা।

Bengalis are synonymous with their love for fish. Bengalis are also synonymous with their love for football. Then, there is the Under-17 World Cup and Durga Puja at our doorsteps. Combining all these interests, the State Fisheries Development Corporation (SFDC) has decided to open stalls.

The stalls would be set up at a few prominent pandals – Lebutala Park, Lake Town, Durga Puja organised by women in Tollygunge, Baghbazar and a few other places. Both cooked and uncooked items would be available.

The stalls would have a football-themed décor – a picture of a stadium, green grass, gallery and players’ dressing room. Each would have three divisions, in going with the three giants of the Maidan, and of Indian football as well – Mohun Bagan, East Bengal and Mohammedan Sporting.

The menu in each of these spaces would be themed on the food associated with the clubs – chingri (prawns) associated with Mohun Bagan, ilish (hilsa) associated with East Bengal mughlai cuisine with Mohammedan Sporting. In concurrence with the 11 players in a team, each menu would have 11 items.

SFDC also has grand plans to open restaurants selling various delicious fish dishes as well as frozen fish in cities across India which have big Bengali populations. Bengaluru and Ranchi are first on the list. From January, Delhi, Jodhpur and Bilaspur are expected to be added to the list.

 

পুজোর প্যান্ডেলে ফুটবল থিমের স্টল খুলবে মৎস্য দপ্তর

সব খেলার সেরা বাঙালির তুমি ফুটবল। আর ফুটবলের পাশাপাশি বাঙালীর আরেক ভালবাসা হল মাছ। পুজো পেরোলেই অনূর্ধ্ব ১৭ বিশ্বকাপ ফুটবল অনুষ্ঠিত হবে কলকাতায়। এই কথা মাথায় রেখে রাজ্য মৎস্য দপ্তর সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে পুজোর সময় স্টল খোলার।

কয়েকটি নামকরা প্যান্ডেলে এই স্টলগুলি করা হবে যেমন লেবুতলা পার্ক, লেক টাউন, মহিলাদের আয়োজন করা টালিগঞ্জের দুর্গাপুজো, বাঘবাজার এবং আরও কয়েকটি জায়গায়। রান্না করা ও কাঁচা দুরকম পদই পাওয়া যাবে এখানে।

এই স্টলগুলি ফুটবলের থিমেই সাজানো হবে, যেমন স্টেডিয়ামের ফটো, সবুজ ঘাস, গ্যালারি ও ড্রেসিং রুম। প্রতি স্টলে থাকবে তিনটি ভাগ, ময়দানের তিন প্রধান দলের সম্মানে – মোহনবাগান, মহামেডান ও ইস্টবেঙ্গল। প্রতিটি ভাগে থাকবে সেই বিভাগের থিম মেনু, যেমন মোহন বাগানের স্টলে থাকবে চিংড়ি, মোঘলাই থাকবে মহামেডান স্টলে, তেমনই ইলিশের পদ পাওয়া যাবে ইস্ট বেঙ্গল স্টলে। যেহেতু একটা দলে থাকে ১১ জন খেলোয়াড়, সেই কথা মাথায় রেখে প্রতি ভাগে পাওয়া যাবে ১১ ধরনের পদ।

After the huge success of the fair price medicine stores, the Bengal Government has now opened fair price fish shops. With the eternal demand for fish among Bengalis and the fluctuating prices of the non-vegetarian staple, these outlets are expected to be another major success.Favourites like

Favourites like hilsa, bhetki, pabda, prawns, among other varieties, are available at the shops. The fish here are both fresh and reasonably priced. On an average, they are Rs 30 to 40 less per kg than the market prices.

The fair price stalls have been opened at Bidhannagar, Karunamayee, Captain Bheri, Chinar Park, AJ Block (Salt Lake), Entally and Jadavpur. Additionally, there are 21 mobile stalls. After Kolkata, such stalls have been opened in Shantiniketan, Siliguri, Digha, Memari and Frasergunj.

 

ন্যায্য মূল্যের মাছের দোকান – রাজ্য সরকারের নতুন উদ্যোগ

বাঙালির রসনাকে তৃপ্ত করতে রাজ্য সরকারের নতুন উদ্যোগ ‘ন্যায্য মূল্যের মাছের দোকান’। ইতিমধ্যেই জীবনদায়ী ওষুধ সঠিক দামে কেনার জন্য রাজ্য সরকারের উদ্যোগে সরকারি হাসপাতালগুলিতে তৈরি করা হয়েছে ন্যায্য মূল্যের ওষুধের দোকান, যেখান থেকে বাজারের চেয়ে কম দামে ওষুধ কিনে উপকৃত হচ্ছেন সাধারণ মানুষ। এই সকল উদ্যোগগুলির বিপুল সাফল্য দেখে এবং সাধারণ মানুষকে নানা রকম মাছের আস্বাদ ফিরিয়ে দেওয়ার জন্যই এবার রাজ্য সরকারের এই নয়া উদ্যোগ।

শহরের জায়গায় থাকবে স্টল। সদ্য ধরা ইলিশ, পাব্দা, ভেটকি, চিংড়ি ইত্যাদি ঘুরবে ভ্রাম্যমাণ গাড়িতে। চলতি বাজার দরের চেয়ে কম দাম ও টাটকা।

রাজ্য মৎস্য দপ্তরের উদ্যোগে বাজারের চেয়ে কেজিতে অন্তত ৩০-৪০ টাকা কম দরে মাহ পাওয়া যাচ্ছে। বিধাননগর, করুণাময়ী, ক্যাপ্টেন ভেড়ি, চিনার পার্ক, এজে ব্লক, এনটালি বাজার, যাদবপুরেও এই মাছের স্টল খোলা হয়েছে। তাছাড়াও ২১ টি ভ্রাম্যমাণ স্টলেও থাকবে টাটকা মাছ। কলকাতা ছাড়াও শান্তিনিকেতন, দিঘা, শিলিগুড়ি, মেমারি ও ফ্রেজারগঞ্জেও শুরু হয়েছে এই রকম স্টল।

The Bengal Government is planning to go big with exporting fish, and it is setting up the infrastructure to go with that. In Digha, the government is setting up an industrial-standard fish processing unit and a cold storage, where up to 40 tonnes processed fish can be stored for months together.

The West Bengal Fisheries Development Corporation Ltd. (WBFC) would be responsible for setting up the export processing infrastructure. With this in place, Bengal would be able to compete on an equal footing with the other major fish-exporting states.

Rs 5 crore will be spent to construct the export centre. It which would take about one year to come up, the construction of which would begin in late November or early December. This would be the first such large-capacity unit of the Bengal Government.

In many countries, the consumption of pre-packed processed fish is on the rise. Europe, USA and the Gulf countries are the primary destinations for the exporting of processed fish. Bengal has already taken big steps in sending its pisciculture products to other parts of the country; and now it is gearing up to capture the export market in a major way.

ভিনরাজ্যে মাছ বিক্রি করতে দীঘায় তৈরি হচ্ছে বড় হিমঘর

মাছে বিপ্লব ঘটাতে চলেছে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ। শুধু রাজ্যবাসীকে মাছে-ভাতে রাখাই নয়, একইসঙ্গে ভিনরাজ্য ও পরবর্তীকালে সাত-সমুদ্র তেরো নদীর ওপারের বাজার ধরার লক্ষ্য নিয়েই জাল ছড়াচ্ছে রাজ্য সরকার। এই বিশাল কর্মযজ্ঞের জন্য যে পরিকাঠামো দরকার, তা এতদিন এখানে ছিল না। দীঘায় প্রায় পাঁচ কোটি টাকা খরচ করে এবার রাজ্য আন্তর্জাতিক মানের সেই প্রক্রিয়াকরণ ইউনিট গড়তে চলেছে, যেখানে একসঙ্গে মাসের পর মাস ৪০ টন প্রক্রিয়াজাত মাছ রাখা যাবে। এতে মুনাফার মুখও দেখতে পাবে রাজ্য মৎস্য উন্নয়ন নিগম। কারণ গোটা পরিকল্পনাটাই রূপায়িত হবে তাদের হাত ধরে।

দেশে বিশেষ করে উপকূলবর্তী রাজ্যগুলি মূলত মাছ উৎপাদনে এগিয়ে। সেই তালিকায় রয়েছে অন্ধ্রপ্রদেশ, ওড়িশা, তামিলনাড়ু, গুজরাত প্রভৃতি। পশ্চিমবঙ্গেও ভালো পরিমাণ মাছ উৎপাদন হয়, তবে তাদের মতো লরি ভরে ভিনরাজ্যে পাঠানো বা তাকে প্রক্রিয়াজাত করে বিদেশে রপ্তানি করার অত্যাধুনিক পরিকাঠামো এতদিন এরাজ্যে ছিল না। সেই লক্ষ্য পূরণে দীঘায় রাজ্য মৎস্য উন্নয়ন নিগমের হাত ধরে সরকার একটি ‘ফিস প্রসেসিং ইউনিট’ গড়ে তুলতে চলেছে।

দীঘায় প্রায় পাঁচ কোটি টাকায় এমন ইউনিট গড়ে তোলার প্রক্রিয়া শুরু হয়েছে। এর জন্য স্টেট কো-অপারেটিভ ব্যাংক ঋণ দিতে সম্মত হয়েছে। এখন ডিপিআর তৈরির কাজ চলছে। নভেম্বরের শেষ অথবা ডিসেম্বরের গোড়ায় কাজ শুরু হয়ে যাবে। হিমঘরসহ গোটা প্রক্রিয়াকরণ ইউনিট গড়তে এক বছর সময় লাগবে। সেক্ষেত্রে ২০১৯ সালের প্রথম থেকেই সেই মাছকে বাজারজাত করতে পারবে নিগম। প্রসঙ্গত, কলকাতায় বেসরকারিভাবে শুধুমাত্র চিংড়ির ক্ষেত্রে এরকম দুটি ছোট প্রসেসিং ইউনিট আছে। কিন্তু সরকারি উদ্যোগে ৪০ টন প্রক্রিয়াজাত মাছ রাখার এতবড় ইউনিট এই প্রথম তৈরি করা হচ্ছে।

বিদেশে প্যাকেটজাত প্রসেসড মাছ খাওয়ার প্রবণতা দিন কে দিন বাড়ছে। ইউরোপ, আরব দুনিয়া এমনকী মার্কিন মুলুকে মাছ রপ্তানি করে বৈদেশিক মুদ্রা আয় করছে বাংলাদেশ, থাইল্যান্ডের মতো দেশগুলি। দেশের বাজার ধরার পর ভবিষ্যতে একই পথের পথিক হতে চায় পশ্চিমবঙ্গ। আসল লক্ষ্য, মাছ খাইয়ে মুনাফা অর্জন।

Fish like singhi, magur, tangra, bata and koi lay eggs in freshwater lakes and rivers during the rainy season, and these tasty species also happen to be some of the favourites among Bengalis.

However, many fishermen illegally use mosquito nets to catch fish, and in the process also snare the eggs in the nets. Unable to hatch, fish production gets hampered.

Secondly, during the rainy season, pesticides used in paddy fields flow with the water to these freshwater areas. This also kills many hatchlings and destroys eggs.

The insecticides also kill certain microorganisms which form a primary food source for the fish. Lack of this food causes the fish to develop diseases. Fish production gets affected for this reason too.

To normalise as well as increase the production of fish, the Bengal Fisheries Department is releasing hatchlings in the water bodies across the State during this rainy season. Alongside this, awareness programmes are being conducted to tell people about the ill-effects of using mosquito nets to catch fish, and also about the negative effects of pesticides overuse.

The increased, healthy production of these natural inhabitants of freshwater bodies will also help in preserving the ecological balance of the State.

দেশি কই, শিঙি-মাগুর, ট্যাংরা, বাটা মাছের উৎপাদন বাড়াতে উদ্যোগী রাজ্য সরকার

যে জলাশয়ে কল জল থাকে, সেখানে দেশি কই, শিঙি-মাগুর, ট্যাংরা, বাটা মাছ বর্ষায় ডিম পাড়ে। কিন্তু সচেতনতার অভাবে অবাধে মশারি জাতীয় নেট ব্যাবহার করে মাছ ধরা হয়। এর ফলে সমস্ত ডিম নষ্ট হয়ে যাচ্ছে।

দ্বিতীয়ত, ধান চাষ এবং অন্যান্য সবজি চাষের জমিতে রাসায়নিকের ব্যাবহার বেড়েছে। বর্ষার সময় জমির জল গিয়ে পড়ছে ওইসব জলাশয়ে। এতে এই সকল প্রাকৃতিক মাছের ‘ব্রিডিং গ্রাউন্ডের’ ক্ষতি হচ্ছে। তাছাড়া, এই রাসায়নিকের প্রভাবে ডিম এবং ডিমপোনার মৃত্যু হচ্ছে। আগে ধানচাষের জমিতেও এই ধরনের মাছের জন্ম হত।

তৃতীয়ত, জলাশয়ে এক ধরনের জলজ জীব এবং উদ্ভিদ তৈরি হয়। এই মাছেদের ওটাই প্রধান খাবার। কিন্তু, রাসায়নিকের জেরে সেই সকলও তৈরি হচ্ছে না। এতে, খাদ্য সঙ্কট দিচ্ছে।

পাশাপাশি মাছের গায়ে বিভিন্ন ধরনের রোগ হচ্ছে। তার জেরেই মৃত্যু হচ্ছে ডিমপোনার। চতুর্থত, এখন মাছ ধরার কৌশল আধুনিক হয়েছে। কোনও মাছই নেট ভেদ করে বের হতে পারে না। ফলে, এই মাছের ডিমপোনাও নষ্ট হয়ে যাচ্ছে।

এইসকল সচেতনতার অভাবেই হারিয়ে যেতে বসেছে বাংলার দেশি কই, শিঙি-মাগুর, ট্যাংরা, বাটা মাছ। এই ধরনের মাছ বাঁচিয়ে রাখতে রাজ্য মৎস্য দপ্তরের পক্ষ থেকে চলতি বর্ষায় প্রতিটি জেলায় এই দেশীয় প্রাকৃতিক জলের মাছের ডিমপোনা ছাড়ার সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়েছে। এই কর্মকাণ্ডে সাধারন মানুষকেও উৎসাহিত করার পাশাপাশি রাজ্যজুড়ে প্রচার অভিযানও শুরু হয়েছে। চলছে সচেতনতা অভিযানও।

মৎস্যদপ্তর সূত্রে জানা গিয়েছে, আগে এই দেশীয় প্রাকৃতিক মাছের কদর ছিল না, ফলে দামও কম ছিল। কিন্তু, এখন উৎপাদনের পরিমাণ কমে যাওয়ায় চাহিদা ও দাম দুই বেড়েছে। রুই, কাতলা, মৃগেল ছাড়াও কই, মাগুর, ট্যাংরা, শিঙি, বাটা প্রভৃতি দেশীয় প্রাকৃতিক মাছের ডিমপোনাও ছাড়া হয়েছে এবার। এই ধরনের মাছ জলাশয়ের বাস্তুতন্ত্র রক্ষার ক্ষেত্রেও গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করে।

The rapid improvement in the infrastructure for pisciculture that Bengal is witnessing, courtesy the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress Government, fish traders of the State are projected to do business worth Rs 700 crore by 2020. By 2019, 1.2 lakh tonnes of fish would be cultivated in the State. These data were recently revealed by industry body, ASSOCHAM (Associated Chambers of Commerce of India) in a report.

Thus, the fish exporters of the State are looking at a bright future. However, according to the ASSOCHAM report, if the unused water bodies are used to their full potential, the State has the capacity to produce 31 lakh tonnes of fish. Another fact highlighted in the report is that every year, there is a 10 per cent increase in fish production in the State; however, during the last financial year, it was a 20 per cent jump.

The policies adopted by the Bengal Government to improve the potential of fish production and exports are indeed laudable. The Government is ensuring that all international food safety standards are being followed by the fish cultivators, processors and exporters. The latest technologies are being used by the food processors. As a result, a big demand for fish and processed fish from the State is being created in foreign markets.

The way things are progressing in the State, Bengal is going to earn a huge revenue from fish production in the future.

 

মাছ রপ্তানিতে ৭০০কোটির ব্যবসা করবে বাংলা

রাজ্যের মাছ চাষের যেভাবে পরিকাঠামোগত উন্নয়ন ঘটানো হয়েছে তাতে আগামী ২০২০ সালে এই রাজ্যের মাছ রপ্তানির সঙ্গে যুক্ত ব্যাবসায়ীর প্রায় ৭০০ কোটি টাকার ব্যবসা করতে পারবেন।২০১৯ এর মধ্যে ,মাছের উৎপাদন ১.২ লক্ষ টনে পৌঁছে নিয়ে যাওয়া যাবে  এমটাই দাবি করা হলো বণিক সভা ASSOCHAM এর পক্ষ থেকে।

তবে রাজ্যের যে অব্যবহৃত  জল জায়গা আছে তাকে সঠিকভাবে কাজেই লাগাতে পারা  গেলে আগামী দিনে ৩১ লক্ষ টন মাছ উৎপাদন করা সম্ভব হবে বলে ASSOCHAM এর পক্ষ থেকে দাবি করা হয়েছে। প্ৰত্যেক বছর মাছ চাষে ১০% উৎপাদন বৃদ্ধি  পায়  কিন্ত গত বছর সেই বৃদ্ধির পরিমান ২০% হয়েছে।

রাজ্য সরকার যেভাবে নতুন নীতি নির্ধারিত করেছেন মাছ চাষের ক্ষেত্রে তার ফলে আগামী দিনে রাজ্যের মাছ সারা বিশ্বের মাছ ক্রেতাদের কাছে বড় চাহিদা গড়ে তুলছে। বিশ্বের ফুড সেফটি নির্ধারণকারী সংস্থার দেওয়া মাপকাঠিতে যে কয়টি নিয়মাবলি দেওয়া হয়েছে তার সব কয়টিকেই  রাজ্যের মাছ চাষের ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহার করা হচ্ছে খাদ্য প্রক্রিয়াকরণের ক্ষেত্রে। সেই মাছ বিদেশের বাজারে আগের তুলনায় অনেক বেশি পরিমাণে চাহিদা বাড়িয়ে তুলেছে।

এই হারেই যদি রাজ্যের মাছের উৎপাদন বৃদ্ধি করা যায় তা হলে আগামী দিনে সারা বিশ্বে বাংলা মাছ রপ্তানি ব্যবসা থেকে বিপুল পরিমানে রাজস্ব আদায় করতে পারবে।

Besides setting up more stalls of Sufal Bangla in the districts, the state agriculture marketing department has taken measures to let more people in the city avail the facility with six more stalls coming up at Tollygunj, Shyambazar and Ultadanga respectively.

Tapan Dasgupta, the state Agriculture Marketing minister, said: “More Sufal Bangla stalls are coming up in the city. Some including the one in Alipore and Tollygunge has already started operations. Two more in Bankura and Bishnupur are ready to let the people in the area avail the facility.” In Kolkata, total four Sufal Bangla stalls will come up at Tollygunge and its adjoining areas. One each will be set up at Shyambazar and Ultadanga. It may be mentioned that already there is one stall at Salt Lake and another one at Alipore. The Alipore stall is the first one where the facility of home delivery has been initiated.

The state Agriculture Marketing department has also introduced the service in Sufal Bangla stall at Santiniketan. The work to make the facility available in other places soon has also started. At present, one needs to call at a phone number to place the order after going through rates of different vegetables provided in the website of Sufal Bangla. In a bid to make the process easier, the state Agriculture Marketing department has taken an initiative to launch a cell phone app using the one that can easily locate a Sufal Bangla shop and place orders for home delivery. The department is having plans to set up Sufal Bangla stalls in all districts and letters were also being written to District Magistrates seeking assistance to identify lands where such stalls can be set up.

At present there are total 33 Sufal Bangla stalls including 14 mobile ones which move around in different places to let people buy fresh vegetables at the right price. With setting up of more stalls in Kolkata, the urban populace can easily buy fresh vegetables at the right price. Moreover, the home delivery system would be immensely beneficial for the urban populace as they do not have to go to market places to buy the vegetables and at present fish, eggs and different varieties of rice are also made available in Sufal Bangla stalls.

জেলায় জেলায় সুফল বাংলা স্টল তৈরীর পাশাপাশি শহরেও আরও সুফল বাংলা স্টল চালু করবে রাজ্য কৃষি দপ্তর। এই জায়গাগুলি হল কলকাতার টালিগঞ্জ, শ্যামবাজার, উল্টোডাঙ্গা। বাঁকুড়া ও বিষ্ণুপুর জেলায় ২ টি স্টল তৈরী হয়ে গেছে, সেগুলিও শীঘ্রই চালু হবে।

এর আগে আলিপুর ও সল্টলেকে সুফল বাংলা স্টল চালু হয়ে গেছে। আলিপুর স্টলটিতে প্রথম হোম ডেলিভারির সুবিধা চালু করা হয়েছে।রাজ্য কৃষি বিপণন দপ্তর শান্তিনিকেতনেও সুফল বাংলা স্টল চালু করেছে।

সুফল বাংলার ওয়েবসাইটে দেওয়া বিভিন্ন শাক সবজির মুল্য দেখে মানুষ একটি নির্দিষ্ট ফোন নম্বরের মাধ্যমে তাদের প্রয়োজনীয় জিনিস অর্ডার করতে পারবেন। প্রক্রিয়াটি সহজ করার জন্য রাজ্য কৃষি বিপণন বিভাগ একটি মোবাইল অ্যাপ চালু করেছে। এর মাধ্যমে কোথায় কোথায় স্টল আছে এবং সেখান থেকে কততা দুরত্ব পর্যন্ত হোম ডেলিভারি পাওয়া যাবে সেই সংক্রান্ত সব তথ্য পাওয়া যাবে। বর্তমানে রাজ্যের প্রায় ৩৩ টি সুফল বাংলা স্টল রয়েছে।

এই স্টল গুলিতে শাক সবজি ছাড়াও মাছ, ডিম ও বিভিন্ন রকমের চাল পাওয়া যায়। বাজারে না গিয়ে বাড়িতে বসে মানুষ যাতে সহজেই টাটকা মাছ, ডিম শাকসবজি কিনতে পারে সেইজন্যই এই উদ্যোগ।

Living in Dubai and missing Bengal’s fish? Worry no more. The state is all set to export its fishes to various foreign lands including Dubai, Japan and China. State fisheries department has got an order of around Rs 900 crore to export the species to these countries.

This is for the first time that the fisheries department has taken up such a unique initiative that will not only create a market for Bengal’s fishes in the foreign countries but also help to develop the financial condition of the state’s fishermen.

To meet the ongoing demands of fishers in the international market, the department is setting up processing units with modern facilities at Nalban in Salt Lake and at Henry Island in South 24-Parganas. The fishes that would be exported to the foreign lands will be processed and packed in these units.

The State Fisheries Development Corporation has increased the fish production in the state by a record margin. Pisciculture was being carried out in most of the stated-owned ponds and water bodies.

The department has also chalked out plans on how to engage more unemployed rural youth and women in pisciculture through the formation of various self-help groups in the villages. The state fisheries department has already been distributing fingerlings to people at free of cost.

দুবাইতে থাকেন ও বাংলার মাছ পান না পাতে? আপিনার চিন্তার নিরসন করতে রাজ্য সরকার এবার কোমর বেঁধেছে। বাংলার মাছ দুবাই, জাপান ও চীনে রপ্তানি করার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে রাজ্য সরকার।

এই উদ্যোগের ফলে শুধু যে বাংলার মাছ বিদেশের বাজারে পৌঁছে যাবে তাই নয়, রাজ্যের মৎস্যজীবীদের অর্থনৈতিক অবস্থারও উন্নতি ঘটবে।

আন্তর্জাতিক বাজারে বেড়ে চলা মাছের চাহিদা মেটানোর উদ্দেশ্যে বিধাননগরের নলবনে ও দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগণার হেনরি আইল্যান্ডে গড়ে উঠছে আধুনিক সুবিধাযুক্ত প্রসেসিং ইউনিট। যেসব মাছ রপ্তানি করা হবে সেইসব মাছকে এখানে প্রসেস করে প্যাকেট বন্দী করা হবে।

রাজ্য মৎস্য দপ্তর ইতিমধ্যেই রেকর্ড মাত্রায় মাছের ফলন বাড়িয়েছে। রাজ্য সরকারের অধীনস্ত প্রায় সব জলাশয়েই মৎস্যচাষ করা হয়। বিভিন্ন স্বনির্ভর গোষ্ঠীর মাধ্যমে আরও বেকার যুবক ও মহিলাদের মৎস্যচাষের সঙ্গে যুক্ত করার উদ্যোগ নিয়েছে মৎস্য দপ্তর। ইতিমধ্যেই বিনামুল্যে মাছের চারা বণ্টন শুরু করা হয়েছে।

Bengal Fisheries Department has taken a novel initiative through which ‘Fish Meal’ will be made available to the public at just Rs 21. In general, Bengalis prefer fish, which is rich in nutrients.

The Annapurna Thali, as it has been named will have fish curry with a piece of fish weighing 50 gms, 100 gms of rice and 75 gms of lentil dal and 50 gms of vegetable curry, prices at RS 21. ‘Ben Fish’ vehicles will be selling the fish thalis at important junctions around the city and districts. The thalis will be jacketed and covered and the food quality will be of high standard.

The Fisheries department had conducted a trial run which had been successful. Now, the project will be launched from February, 2017 with 21 ‘Ben Fish’ vehicles.

২১ টাকায় মাছ-ভাতের আস্বাদ দেবে রাজ্য সরকারের ‘একুশে অন্নপূর্ণা’

মাত্র একুশ টাকায় মিলবে ডাল, ভাত, তরকারি, মাছ৷ শুধু কলকাতা শহরই নয়, জেলায় জেলায় ম९স্য দপ্তরের এই নয়া প্রকল্পের সুবিধা মিলবে। রাজ্যের ম९স্য দপ্তরের নয়া এই প্রকল্প সাধারণের মনও কেড়েছে। একুশ টাকায় মিলবে ৫০ গ্রাম ওজনের একটি মাছ, ১০০ গ্রাম ভাত, ৭৫ গ্রাম মুসুর ডাল ও ৫০ গ্রাম সবজি৷

ডালহৌসি, ধর্মতলা, গড়িয়া সহ শহরের একাধিক জায়গায় ঘুরবে বেনফিশের এই ‘অন্নপূর্ণা’ গাড়ি৷ দুপুর ১২টা থেকে ৩টে পর্যন্ত এই গাড়ির সামনে দাঁড়ালেই মিলবে খাবার৷ আগামী তিন মাসের মধ্যে একুশটা গাড়ি চলবে শহরে ও জেলায়৷ ধীরে ধীরে বাড়ানো হবে গাড়ির সংখ্যা৷ ছ মাসের মধ্যে শহরে ও জেলায় পঞ্চাশটি অন্নপূর্ণা গাড়ি নামাতে চলেছে ম९স্য দপ্তর৷

হিন্দুমতে ঘরের খাবার যোগান দেন দেবী অন্নপূর্ণা তাই নাম রাখা হয়েছে ‘একুশে অন্নপূর্ণা’। কাগজের প্যাকেটে থাকবে খাবার৷ তা ঢাকা থাকবে একটি প্লাস্টিক জ্যাকেট দিয়ে৷ কম টাকায় খাবার মিললেও গুণমানের দিকেও বিশেষ নজর দিচ্ছেন ম९স্য দপ্তরের আধিকারিকরা৷

ম९স্য দপ্তর সূত্রে খবর, আপাতত বেশ কয়েকটি জায়গায় এই প্রকল্পের ট্রায়াল রান দেওয়া হয়েছে৷ সেখানে যাঁরা এই খাবার খেয়েছেন, তাঁরা প্রশংসা করেছেন৷ ম९স্য মন্ত্রী চন্দ্রনাথ সিনহা জানিয়েছেন, “মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় রাজ্যের প্রতিটি মানুষের কাছে খাবার পৌঁছে দেওয়ার কথা বারবার বলেন৷ ইতিমধ্যেই দু’টাকা কিলো দরে চাল দিচ্ছে রাজ্য সরকার৷ এবার তাই ম९স্য দপ্তর মানুষের কাছে সস্তায় পুষ্টিকর খাদ্য পৌঁছে দিতে চায়৷ তার জন্যই শুরু হচ্ছে ‘একুশে অন্নপূর্ণা’ প্রকল্প৷”

The State Fisheries department will open its food stall “All fish” before the Pujas. The West Bengal Housing and Infrastructure Development Department will handover 100 hectare of water-bodies in New Town to the State Fisheries Department Corporation.

A space in Eco Park’s Heliconia garden will also be given to SFDC to set up its stall “All Fish.” The decision to hand over the water bodies was based upon a directive of the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee that different departments should hand over water bodies to the fisheries department for fish farming at a meeting presided over by her on June 3 in the Town Hall.

Accordingly, the water bodies at Upasanashthal (8.74 hectare), water treatment plant (30 hectare), Eco Urban village (15 hectare), SWM area (30 hectare), Diler bheri (17 hectare) were identified to be handed over to SFDC on a 50: 50 profit sharing basis after a moratorium of one year.

The SFDC would try to open the “All fish” stall in Eco Park by October 2.  HIDCO would source its fish requirements for Café Ekante from SFDC as much as possible. SFDC already runs a stall in Nalban. The All Fish stall will be a star attraction at Prakriti Tirtha as the tourists from other states and countries would love to taste the various preparations of fish, staple to Bengali cuisine.

As the “All fish” stall will be opened before the Pujas it is likely to grab attention. A similar stall is also being opened opposite Nabanna, the State Secretariat.

 

মৎস্যপ্রেমী বাঙালির রসনা তৃপ্তিতে রাজ্যের নতুন উদ্যোগ

রাজ্য মৎস্য বিভাগ পুজোর আগেই সব জায়গায় মাছের দোকান খুলবে যেখানে সব রকম মাছ পাওয়া যাবে। রাজ্যের স্বরাষ্ট্র ও ইনফ্রাস্ট্রাকচার ডেভেলপমেন্ট ডিপার্টমেন্ট প্রায় ১০০ হেক্টর জলাশয় রাজ্য মৎস্য দপ্তরকে দিয়েছে।

ইকো পার্কের হেলিকনিয়া গার্ডেন SFDC -কে একটি জায়গা দেবে এই স্টল তৈরি করার জন্য। মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর নিদেশেই এই জলাশয়গুলি হস্তান্তর করা হচ্ছে। মাছ চাষ করার জন্য বিভিন্ন দপ্তরের উচিত মৎস্য বিভাগকে জলাশয় হস্তান্তর করা। এই উপলক্ষে গত ৩ জুন মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর নেতৃত্বে টাউন হলে একটি বৈঠক হয়।

উপাসনাস্থল (৮.৭৪ হেক্টর), ওয়াটার ট্রিটমেন্ট প্ল্যান্ট (৩০ হেক্টর), SWM এলাকা (৩০ হেক্টর), দিলের ভেরি (১৭ হেক্টর) এগুলি চিহ্নিত করা হয়েছে হস্তান্তর করার জন্য।

আগামী ২ অক্টোবরের মধ্যে ইকো পার্কে এই স্টল চালু করার চেষ্টা করছে SFDC। HIDCO  তার কফি হাউসের জন্য  SFDC থেকে যতটা সম্ভব মাছ সংগ্রহ করতে পারবে। ইতিমধ্যেই নলবনে একটি দোকান চালু করেছে  SFDC । রাজ্যের ও বাইরে থেকে আসা প্রকৃতি তীর্থের সব পর্যটকদের কাছে এই স্টলগুলি বেশ আকর্ষণীয় হবে। এর মাধ্যমে তারা মাছের বিভিন্ন পদের আস্বাদ গ্রহণ করতে পারবেন।

যেহেতু সব স্টল গুলিই পুজোর আগে খোলা হবে সেজন্যএর ওপর বিশেষ জোর দেওয়া হচ্ছে। একই ধরনের একটি স্টল (রাজ্য সচিবালয়) নবান্নের বিপরীতেও খোলা হবে।
