Budget Session Final Week: Trinamool played a constructive role

During the last week of the second part of the 2017 Budget Session, MPs spoke on a variety of issues. In both the Houses of Parliament, the party strongly condemned a BJP Youth leader’s bounty on Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s head. Issues like Aadhaar, HIV and the National Commission for Backward Classes were dealt with at length by the MPs. In the Lok Sabha, Saugata Roy gave a statement on the behalf of the House, condemning the death sentence given to Kulbhushan Jadhav by Pakistan.

Important issues were also taken up during the Zero Hour and the Question Hour. Abhishek Banerjee asked a question on national investment and manufacturing zones. Deepak Adhikari made a Zero Hour mention too.
