Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee felicitated personalities from the Bengali television world today. The Tele Samman awards ceremony hold at Nazrul Mancha.

The Tele Samman awards are given by the West Bengal Tele Academy since 2014. Personalities from the Bengali television industry are awarded for their exceptional performances throughout the year. Distinguished personalities-actors, directors, producers and technicians of Bengali television are awarded through this programme.

After the award ceremony a colourful cultural programme was performed by the television artistes.

 

টেলি সম্মান পুরস্কার প্রদান করলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী

বাংলা টেলিভিশন জগতের কলাকুশলীদের আজ সম্মানজ্ঞাপন করেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়।

নজরুল মঞ্চে এক বর্ণাঢ্য অনুষ্ঠানে আজ তিনি টেলি সম্মান পুরস্কার দেন। সারা বছরে অসাধারণ কাজের স্বীকৃতি স্বরূপ দেওয়া হয় এই পুরস্কার। অভিনেতা, পরিচালক, প্রযোজক, টেকনিশিয়ানদের দেওয়া হল সম্মান।

পুরস্কার প্রদানের পর একটি সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠানেরও আয়োজন করেন বিভিন্ন তারকারা।

Speaking to reporters after the conclusion of Bengal Global Business Summit, 2018, Finance and Industries Minister, Dr Amit Mitra today said this summit will open new avenues of employment in Bengal.

He said that 110 MoUs have been signed and B2B meetings were still on. He spoke at length about the interest expressed by foreign delegates about investing in Bengal.

Highlights of Dr Mitra’s speech:

  • We have received amazing response at Bengal Global Business Summit, 2018. Discussions are on even after the summit has ended. Investors from across the globe have expressed interest.
  • For the first time, we had nine partner countries: Japan, South Korea, UAE, France, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Italy and UK. Although China is not our partner country this time, representatives from two Chinese provinces were present and expressed interest in investing.
  • We have signed MoU with Silesia province of Poland. They will help us with mining technology. We will work with them shoulder to shoulder.
  • We have signed an MoU with Italy regarding leather technology. They are keen to invest in gems and jewellery sector. A lot of jobs will be created.
  • Bengal has exports worth Rs 54,000 crore. Leading are leather, gems and jewellery, metal, steel.
  • A university in Hungary has signed an MoU with Jadavpur University. Edinburgh University has signed an MoU with Presidency University.
  • We have signed an MoU with Germany regarding Energy Action Plan.
  • Reliance, Jaipuria, Adani, Kotak, SpiceJet, JSW, Samsung, Pepsi and other multinational companies are keen to invest in Bengal.
  • We have received investment proposals worth Rs 2 lakh 19 thousand 925 crore.
  • Many new policies have been announced: Logistic Park Development and Promotion Policy, Export Promotion Policy etc.
    Job creation is the biggest success of this summit. 20 lakh new jobs will be created.
  • 1046 B2B meetings have taken place in these two days. 40 B2G meetings also took place.
  • Kolkata has never seen such elaborate preparations. Industrialists were touched by the CM’s words. She spoke from the heart.
  • There is a tide of development in Bengal under the leadership of Mamata Banerjee.

 

 

রাজ্যে কর্মসংস্থানের নয়া দিগন্ত উন্মোচিত হতে চলেছে : বানিজ্য সম্মেলনের পরে জানালেন অর্থমন্ত্রী

বিশ্ববঙ্গ বাণিজ্য সম্মেলন ২০১৮ তে ১১০ মউ স্বাক্ষরিত হয়েছে। সম্মেলনের শেষে সাংবাদিক সম্মেলন করে চতুর্থ বিশ্ববঙ্গ বাণিজ্য সম্মেলনের প্রাপ্তির কথা বিশদে জানালেন অর্থমন্ত্রী অমিত মিত্র। রাজ্যে নয়া দিগন্ত উন্মোচিত হতে চলেছে এই বাণিজ্য সম্মেলন থেকে।

তাঁর বক্তব্যের কিছু অংশ:

  • বিশ্ব বঙ্গ বাণিজ্য সম্মেলনে দারুন সাড়া মিলেছে। সম্মেলন শেষের পরেও বিনিয়োগ নিয়ে আলোচনা হচ্ছে। বিভিন্ন দেশের শিল্পপতিরা বিনিয়গে আগ্রহ দেখান।
  • এই প্রথম ৯ টি দেশ আমাদের পার্টনার দেশ হল: জাপান, দক্ষিণ কোরিয়া, ইউ এ ই , ফ্রান্স, জার্মানি, পোল্যান্ড, চেক রিপাবলিক, ইউ কে। চীন পার্টনার দেশ নয় অথচ তাদের ২ টি রাজ্য এখানে উপস্থিত ছিল এবং তারাও বিনিয়োগে আগ্রহ প্রকাশ করছে।
  • পোল্যান্ডের সিলেসিয়ার সঙ্গে মউ স্বাক্ষরিত হয়েছে। খনিতে প্রযুক্তিগত সাহায্য করবে তারা। পশ্চিমবঙ্গ তাদের সঙ্গে এবার কাঁধে কাঁধ মিলিয়ে এগোবে।
  • চর্মজাত শিল্প নিয়ে ইতালির সাথে মউ স্বাক্ষরিত হয়েছে। গয়না শিল্পেও বিনিয়োগের আগ্রহ দেখিয়েছে তারা, এখানে প্রচুর কর্মসংস্থানেরর সম্ভাবনা।
  • পশ্চিমবঙ্গ থেকে ৫৪ হাজার কোটি টাকার রপ্তানি হয়। শীর্ষে আছে চর্মশিল্প, গয়না শিল্প, ধাতু শিল্প, ইস্পাত শিল্প।
  • যাদবপুর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সঙ্গে হাঙ্গেরির একটি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের মউ স্বাক্ষরিত হয়েছে। প্রেসিডেন্সির সঙ্গে এডিনবরা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের মউ স্বাক্ষরিত হয়েছে।
  • জার্মানির সঙ্গে এনার্জি অ্যাকশান প্ল্যান নিয়ে মউ স্বাক্ষরিত হয়েছে।
  • রিলায়েন্স, জয়পুরিয়া, আদানি, কোটাক, স্পাইস জেট, জে এস ডবলু, স্যামসাং, পেপসি ইত্যাদি বহুজাতিক সংস্থা সহ সকলে এখানে বিনিয়োগ করতে আগ্রহী।
  • আজ ২ লক্ষ ১৯ হাজার ৯২৫ কোটি টাকা বিনিয়োগের প্রস্তাব এসেছে।
  • বেশ কিছু পলিসির ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে সেগুলি হল –  লজিস্টিক পার্ক ডেভেলপমেন্ট অ্যান্ড প্রমোশান পলিসি, এক্সপোর্ট প্রমোশান পলিসি ইত্যাদি।
  • এই সম্মেলনের মূল সাফল্য হল কর্মসংস্থান। ২০ লক্ষ কর্মসংস্থান হবে।
  • এই দেড় দিনের মধ্যে ১০৪৬ টি বিটুবি মিটিং হয়েছে, কিছু মিটিং এখনও চলছে। ৪০ টি বিটুজি মিটিং হয়েছে।
  • এত বড় আয়োজন, এরকম কলকাতা আমরা আগে দেখিনি। মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর কথায় আন্তরিকতার ছোঁয়া আছে। শিল্পপতিরা জানান মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর কথার দাম আছে।
  • মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের নেতৃত্বে বাংলায় উন্নয়নের জোয়ার এসেছে’।

Investment proposals worth nearly Rs 2.2 lakh crore were received at Bengal Global Business Summit, 2018, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced. The figures are expected to go up, she commented.

The CM also mentioned that based on the proposals received, 20 lakh jobs will be created in sectors like Manufacturing, IT, Cement, Services, Tourism, Infrastructure, Skill Development, Health & Education. She also said that Bengal was facing legacy issues but accountability, transparency and dedication were the credentials of her government.

The next edition of the summit will be held on 7-8 February, 2019.

Highlights of the Chief Minister’s speech:

Thank you so much for joining us on the second day of the summit. I extend warm welcome to all the delegates from all over the world.

It is because of your humble, kind presence that this summit became so hugely successful. Your presence is our inspiration.

We are deeply honoured by the presence of all the foreign delegates. We want to congratulate all of you. More than 4000 delegates from 32 countries participated.

Without a vision, the world cannot survive.

Over 1040 B2B meetings took place in these two days. B2G meetings also took place. 110 MoUs will be signed. This is a great achievement.

Bengal is the gateway to NE India and ASEAN countries. I have already spoken about it. Bengal has a strategic location.

Within two years, connectivity in Bengal will be exceptional with the metro network.

Bengal is the cultural capital. We are a hub of education.

We are No. 1 in skill development, MSME, agriculture, e-governance. In ease of doing business, we are No. 1 in India.

For 34 years, Left Front Govt ruled Bengal. We are facing a legacy. Our accountability, transparency and dedication is our credibility.

We have land bank, land use policy, land map. We have export policy, agriculture policy, business policy, tourism policy.

We maintain the best of relations with the industry. Our captains of industry are our ambassadors.

We have received investment proposals worth about Rs 2.2 lakh crore. This figure will only go up.

Based on the proposals received, more than twenty lakh employment will be generated in several sectors, including mobile, manufacturing and startups.

Bengal government is a friendly government. We are ready to extend all cooperation.
Industry and agriculture are equally important. We give priority to both.

On 7 February, 2019, we will organise World Business Summit. On 8 February, 2019, we will organise the conclave.

২০ লক্ষ কর্মসংস্থান হবে: মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়

২০১৮ সালের বিশ্ব বঙ্গ বাণিজ্য সম্মেলনে প্রায় ২.২ লক্ষ কোটি টাকার বিনিয়োগ প্রস্তাব এসেছে। বিশ্ব বঙ্গ বাণিজ্য সম্মেলনের দ্বিতীয় দিনে একথা ঘোষণা করেছেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। এই সংখ্যা আরো বাড়তে পারে বলেn মুখ্যমন্ত্রী।

প্রাপ্ত প্রস্তাবের উপর ভিত্তি করে সব মিলিয়ে প্রায় ২০ লক্ষ কর্মসংস্থান হবে। উৎপাদন, আইটি, সিমেন্ট, সেবা, পর্যটন, পরিকাঠামো, দক্ষতা উন্নয়ন, স্বাস্থ্য ও শিক্ষা ক্ষেত্রে কর্মসংস্থান হবে।

আগামী বছর বিশ্ব বঙ্গ বাণিজ্য সম্মেলন হবে ৭ ও ৮ ই ফেব্রুয়ারি।

তাঁর বক্তব্যের কিছু বিষয়:

আজ বিশ্ব বঙ্গ বাণিজ্য সম্মেলনের দ্বিতীয় দিন। উপস্থিত সকলকে অনেক অনেক ধন্যবাদ। সারা বিশ্বের সকল প্রতিনিধিদের আমি স্বাগত জানাই।

আপনাদের উপস্থিতি এই সম্মলনকে সফল করে তুলেছে। আপনাদের উপস্থিতি আমাদের অনুপ্রেরণা।

৩২ টি দেশের ৪০০০ এরও বেশি প্রতিনিধি এখানে অংশগ্রহণ করেছেন, এটা আমাদের কাছে গর্বের বিষয়। সকলকে আমার অনেক অভিনন্দন।

এই দুই দিনে ১০৪০ এরও বেশি বিটুবি বৈঠক হয়েছে। বেশ কিছু বিটুজি বৈঠকও হয়েছে। ১১০ টি মউ স্বাক্ষরিত হবে। এটি একটি বিশাল পাওনা.

বাংলা হল উত্তর পূর্ব ও আশিয়ান দেশগুলির গেটওয়ে। একথা আমি আগেও বলেছি। বাংলার ভৌগোলিক অবস্থান গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।

২ বছরের মধ্যে মেট্রো নেটওয়ার্ক সম্প্রসারণের মাধ্যমে বাংলার যোগাযোগ ব্যবস্থা উন্নত হবে।

বাংলা সংস্কৃতির পীঠস্থান। শিক্ষার একটি হাব আমাদের রাজ্য।

দক্ষতা বিকাশ, ক্ষুদ্র ও মাঝারি শিল্প ক্ষেত্রে, কৃষি, ই-গভর্র্ন্যান্স ও শিল্প গড়ার সুবিধায় ভারতের মধ্যে বাংলা ১ নম্বরে।

৩৪ বছর বাংলায় অপশাসন চালিয়েছে বাম সরকার। বিশ্বাসযোগ্যতা, স্বচ্ছতা এবং দায়িত্বশীলতা – আমাদের মন্ত্র।

আমাদের ল্যান্ড ব্যাংক, ল্যান্ড পলিসি রয়েছে। এছাড়া আমাদের এক্সপোর্র্ট নীতি, কৃষি নীতি, বাণিজ্য নীতি ও পর্যটন নীতিও রয়েছে।

শিল্পপতিদের সঙ্গে আমাদের সম্পর্ক খুব ভালো। শিল্পপতিরাই আমাদের অ্যাম্বাসেডর।

এবছর প্রায় ২.২ লক্ষ কোটি টাকার বিনিয়োগ প্রস্তাব এসেছে। এই সংখ্যা আরো বাড়বে।

প্রাপ্ত প্রস্তাবের উপর ভিত্তি করে, মোবাইল, উত্পাদন এবং স্টার্ট আপ সহ বেশ কয়েকটি সেক্টরে ২০ লাখেরও বেশি কর্মসংস্থান হবে।

বাংলার সরকার বন্ধু সরকার। আমরা সব রকম সহযোগিতা করতে প্রস্তুত।

কৃষি ও শিল্প দুইই সমান গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।

আগামী বছর বিশ্ব বঙ্গ বাণিজ্য সম্মেলন হবে ৭ ও ৮ ই ফেব্রুয়ারি। ৭ ই ফেব্রুয়ারি হবে বিশ্ব বাণিজ্য সম্মেলন আর ৮ই ফেব্রুয়ারি অনুষ্ঠিত হবে কনক্লেভ।

The Trinamool Congress Government has brought various measures to ensure ease in doing business in Bengal.

Among the foremost is the Silpa Sathi Scheme, to ensure single-window permission for settings up industries (of any size). In short, Silpa Sathi is Bengal’s call for business to ride the growth in industry, commerce and enterprises in the state across micro, small, medium and large sectors.

Some of the key reforms implemented:

· Streamlining of business processes
· Enactment of time-bound delivery of services under the Right to Public Services Act

· Simplification of processes and procedures through decentralisation and reduced documentation
· Using GIS mapping system to precisely identify sites

Bengal is the fourth largest economy in India, and on many economic parameters, is ahead of the all-India average.

During 2016-17, before demonetisation, that is, for the period from April to September 2016, the growth rate of the State Index of Industrial Production (IIP) was (+)4.8 per cent as compared to (–)0.1 per cent for India.

And the growth rate of the State Index of Industrial Production (General) for the period from April 2016 to January 2017 was 6.97 per cent, when that for the period from April 2016 to even March 2017 was just 4.8 per cent.

As compared to 2010-11, the State Plan of Expenditure in 2016-17 is expected to be four times. Similarly, the Capital Expenditure in 2016-17 as compared to 2010-11 is expected to be seven times.

Under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) Scheme, the State Government has achieved employment generation to the tune of 128 per cent of proportionate labour budget. Expenditure incurred by the State Government in the scheme of more than Rs 5,600 crore was the highest in the country.

The revenue of the state in 2015-16 as compared to 2010-11, has grown by 103 per cent. This increase is unprecedented in the country.

In the area of e-taxation and reforms, Bengal has achieved number one position in the country on the basis of comparative valuation of performance with other states.

In spite of the tsunami of demonetisation, Bengal was able to create employment opportunities for 13,27,000 people during financial year 2016-17.

 

এগিয়ে চলেছে বাংলার অর্থনীতি

বাংলা দেশের চতুর্থ বৃহত্তম অর্থনীতি, এছাড়া আরও অনেক অর্থনৈতিক ক্ষেত্রে দেশের গড়কে পেছনে ফেলে দিয়েছে এই রাজ্য।

২০১৬-১৭ অর্থবর্ষে সর্বনাশা নোটবাতিলের আগে, মানে এপ্রিল থেকে সেপ্টেম্বর ২০১৬ পর্যন্ত রাজ্যের স্টেট ইনডেক্স অফ ইন্ডাস্ট্রিয়াল প্রোডাকশন (আইআইপি) ছিল (+)৪.৮ শতাংশ, যেখানে দেশের এই পরিসংখ্যান ছিল (-) ০.১ শতাংশ।

এপ্রিল ২০১৬ থেকে জানুয়ারি ২০১৭ পর্যন্ত স্টেট ইনডেক্স অফ ইন্ডাস্ট্রিয়াল প্রোডাকশন (জেনারেল)-এর বৃদ্ধির হার ছিল ৬.৯৭ শতাংশ, এপ্রিল ২০১৬ থেকে মার্চ ২০১৭ তে যা হয় ৪.৮ শতাংশ।

স্টেট প্ল্যান এক্সপেন্ডিচার ২০১০-১১ সালের তুলনায় ২০১৬-১৭ সালে প্রায় চার গুন বেড়েছে। পাশাপাশি ক্যাপিটাল এক্সপেন্ডিচার ২০১০-১১ সালের তুলনায় ২০১৬-১৭ তে বেড়েছে প্রায় সাত গুন।

১০০ দিনের কাজের অন্তর্গত, রাজ্য সরকার ১২৮ শতাংশ কর্মসংস্থান করেছে। এই খাতে রাজ্য ব্যয় করেছে ৫৬০০ কোটি টাকা যা দেশে সর্বোচ্চ।
২০১০-১১ সালের তুলনায় ২০১৫-১৬ সালে রাজস্ব বেড়েছে ১০৩ শতাংশ। এই পরিমান রাজস্ব বৃদ্ধি দেশে অভূতপূর্ব।

ই-ট্যাক্সেশন ও সংস্কারের ক্ষেত্রে বাকি রাজ্যের তুলনায় এরাজ্য প্রথম স্থান অধিকার করেছে।

নোটবাতিলের কালো প্রভাব থাকা সত্বেও ২০১৬-১৭ সালে রাজ্য ১৩,২৭,০০০ টি কর্মসংস্থান তৈরীতে সক্ষম হয়েছে।

Bengal Global Business Summit 2018 began today. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee inaugurated the two-day business summit at Biswa Bangla Convention Centre.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister thanked the captains of the industry present there. She highlighted the advantages and opportunities for investing in Bengal.

The past editions of the Bengal Global Business Summit have proven to be milestones in terms of establishing Bengal as an ideal investment destination, and the 4th edition of Bengal Global Business Summit will project its business-readiness to the global investor community, spearheading the surge ahead.

Highlights of the CM’s speech:

Captains of industry are present here today and spoke from their heart. There is nothing much for me to say.

Bengal has a strategic location. It is the gateway for ASEAN countries, NE India. Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan are our bordering countries. There are a lot of opportunities.

Nine major countries have become our partners for BGBS: Germany, UK, Italy, France, Poland, S Kora, Czech Republic and UAE. Large delegations are present from China (39), Poland (50), UK (25), Italy (40).

As Ambani ji said, in ease of doing business, Bengal is No. 1 State. Despite the legacy of 34 years, we are trying our best.

Our plan expenditure has increased by 3 times; capital expenditure has increased by 7 times in six years.

Our GDP has more than doubled in six years. We are among the top States in terms of GDP.

In Skill Development and MSME sectors, Bengal is No 1.We have received the highest award for e-governance. Our e-taxation system has received award.

We have created more than 81 lakh employment in six years. In creation of rural employment, Bengal is No 1 in India. We are proud of that.

Before we came to power, man days lost due to strike was more than 70 lakh. Now, it is zero.

We want both industry and agriculture to prosper. They are like two sisters.

We have surplus power, skilled power. We are a powerhouse of talent. We have created the requisite infrastructure for industry.

We have received UN recognition for our scheme to empower the girl child – Kanyashree.

FIFA was all praises for the arrangements made by Bengal for U-17 Football World Cup.

Accountability, credibility, transparency, sincerity and punctuality – these are our credentials.

Bengal has the potential in every sector. Bengal is the cultural capital of the world. Bengal is the investment destination now.

In Tagore’s words, “Esho amar ghore esho” (come to our home). Come and invest in Bengal.

 

বাংলাই শিল্পের আদর্শ গন্তব্য: মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়

শুরু হল দুদিন ব্যাপী বিশ্ব বঙ্গ বাণিজ্য সম্মেলন ২০১৮। নিউটাউনের বিশ্ব বঙ্গ কনভেনশন সেন্টারে এই সম্মেলনের উদ্বোধন করলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়।

এই দুদিন ব্যাপী সম্মেলনে দেশ বিদেশ থেকে শিল্পপতি, কর্পোরেট লিডার, প্রতিনিধিরা এসেছেন। অতীতের তিনটি সম্মেলনে বাংলাকে শিল্পের গন্তব্য হিসেবে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করতে অনেকটাই সক্ষম হয়েছে রাজ্য সরকার। সেই কাজটাই এগিয়ে নিয়ে যাওয়া হবে এই সম্মেলনে।

মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর বক্তব্যের কিছু অংশ:

আজ এখানে অনেক শিল্পপতি উপস্থিত, তারা সকলে তাদের মনের কথা বলেছেন। আমার বেশি কিছু বলার নেই।

বাংলার ভৌগলিক অবস্থান যথেষ্ট গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। বাংলা উত্তর পূর্ব ভারত ও দক্ষিণ পূর্ব এশিয়ার প্রবেশদ্বার। বাংলাদেশ, নেপাল, ভুটান আমাদের প্রতিবেশী দেশ। বাংলায় অনেক সুযোগ রয়েছে।

৯ টি দেশ বিশ্ব বঙ্গ বাণিজ্য সম্মেলনে আমাদের পার্টনার: জার্মানি, ইউকে, ইতালি, ফ্রান্স, পোল্যান্ড, দক্ষিণ কোরিয়া, চেক রিপাবলিক এবং ইউএই।

বিভিন্ন দেশ থেকে এসেছে বড় প্রতিনিধিদল – চীন (৩৯), পোল্যান্ড (৫০), ইউকে (২৫), ইতালি (৪০)।

আমরা আমাদের দেশকে ভালোবাসি। আমরা সব ধর্ম, জাতি, সকলের জন্য কাজ করি।

অর্থনৈতিক, ভৌগলিক অবস্থান, রাজনৈতিক স্থিতিশীলতা – সব দিক দিয়েই বাংলা আদর্শ গন্তব্য।

আম্বানি জি ঠিকই বলেছেন, শিল্প গড়ার সুবিধায় বাংলা ১ নম্বর। বাংলায় ৩৪ বছরের অপশাসন সত্ত্বেও আমরা বিভিন্ন উদ্যোগ নিচ্ছি।

গত ৬ বছরে আমাদের পরিকল্পনা খাতে ব্যয় ৩ গুণ বেড়েছে এবং মূলধনী ব্যয় ৭ গুণ বৃদ্ধি পেয়েছে।

৬ বছরে আমাদের জিডিপি দ্বিগুন হয়েছে। অন্যান্য রাজ্যের তুলনায় বাংলা জিডিপি বৃদ্ধির দিক দিয়ে এগিয়ে।

দক্ষতা বিকাশ, ক্ষুদ্র ও মাঝারি শিল্প ক্ষেত্রে বাংলা ১ নম্বরে। ই-গভর্ন্যান্স, ই-ট্যাক্সেশানে আমরা পুরস্কার পেয়েছি।

যুব সমাজ আমাদের অনুপ্রেরণা। ওরাই আমাদের ভবিষ্যৎ। গত ৬ বছরে বাংলায় ৮১ লক্ষ কর্মসংস্থান হয়েছে।

গ্রামীণ কর্মসংস্থানে বাংলা ১ নম্বরে। এটা আমাদের গর্ব। আপনারা যত বিনিয়োগ করবেন কর্মসংস্থান তত বাড়বে।

আমরা ক্ষমতায় আসার আগে বনধের জন্য ৭০ লক্ষ শ্রমদিবস নষ্ট হয়েছিল। এখন সেই সংখ্যা শূন্য।

শিল্প বাড়লেই রাজ্য এগোবে। এ কথা শিরোধার্য। তা বলে কৃষি বঞ্চিত হবে না। শিল্প ও কৃষি দুই বোনের মতো বাড়বে রাজ্যে। বাংলাই পথ দেখাবে অন্যদের।

আমাদের উদ্বৃত্ত বিদ্যুৎ রয়েছে, দক্ষ শ্রমিকও আছে। বাংলার মেধা বিশ্ববিখ্যাত। বাংলায় শিল্পের পরিকাঠামো রয়েছে।

মেয়েদের ক্ষমতায়নের জন্য বাংলার কন্যাশ্রী প্রকল্প রাষ্ট্রসংঘের পুরস্কার পেয়েছে।

বাংলায় ফুটবল বিশ্বকাপ অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। ফিফা আমাদের আয়োজনের ভূয়সী প্রশংসা করেছে।

দায়বদ্ধতা, বিশ্বাসযোগ্যতা, স্বচ্ছতা, আন্তরিকতা এবং স্থিতিশীলতা – আমাদের মন্ত্র।

বাংলায় সব ক্ষেত্রে সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে। বাংলা সংস্কৃতির পীঠস্থান। বাংলাই এখন বিনিয়োগের গন্তব্যস্থল।

France is the partner country at the 2018 Bengal Global Business Summit (BGBS). As a result, 10 leading French have confirmed participation the international business summit.

The big 10 are Capgemini, Matière, Dassault Systèmes, Fives Stein, JCDecaux, Kernoes, Decathlon, Schneider, Suez and Accor. This is a major gain for Bengal as the ten represent some of the biggest names in the consultancy, manufacturing, defence, advertising, construction, sports, energy and hospitality sectors.

This year, more than 3,000 delegates from the US, France, Japan, Germany, China, Italy, Russia and the UK.

১০টি ফরাসি কোম্পানি আসছে বিশ্ব বঙ্গ বাণিজ্য সম্মেলনে

চতুর্থ বিশ্ব বঙ্গ বাণিজ্য সম্মেলনে ফ্রান্সের প্রথম সারির ১০টি কোম্পানি আসছে। এ বছরের সম্মেলনে ফ্রান্স হল পার্টনার রাষ্ট্র।
ফ্রান্সের কনসালট্যান্ট জেনারেল বলেন, সংস্কৃতি ও অর্থনীতি একে ওপরের সঙ্গে জড়িত। আমরা গর্বিত ১০টি কোম্পানি যারা বিশ্ব বঙ্গ বাণিজ্য সম্মেলনে অংশগ্রহণ করবে, তাদের নাম ঘোষণা করে। ফ্রান্স এই সম্মেলনের পার্টনার রাষ্ট্র হওয়ায় আমরা আনন্দিত।

যে দশটি কোম্পানির প্রতিনিধি আসবেন, তারা হল, ক্যাপজেমিনি, ম্যাটায়ার, ড্যাসল সিস্টেমেস, ফাইভসস্টেন, জেসিদিই-কক্স, কার্নিওস, ডেকাথলন, স্নেইডার, সুয়েজ, অ্যাকর।

গত বছর সম্মেলনে ফ্রান্সের কনসালট্যান্ট জেনারেল ফ্রান্সের প্রতিনিধিত্ব করেন। এবারে ফরাসি প্রতিনিধিরা আসবেন।
এবারে আমেরিকা, ফ্রান্স, জাপান, জার্মানি, চীন, ইটালি, রাশিয়া ও ব্রিটেন থেকে ৩০০০ এর বেশী প্রতিনিধি আসবেন।

Ever since attending the first Bengal Global Business Summits a few years back, entrepreneurs and leaders of industry have showered praises on Bengal and its and its industrial climate. They have reacted with a lot of positivity to the Bengal Government’s attitude and have highly appreciated Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s honest efforts to bring industry back to the state. They have enthusiastically participated in the Bengal Global Business Summits.

Here are a few samples of comments after the successful 2017 summit (held in January):

প্রথম বারের বিশ্ব বঙ্গ বাণিজ্য সম্মেলনে অংশগ্রহনের সময় থেকেই শিল্পপতিরা বাংলার তথা বাংলার শিল্পমুখী বাতাবরণের প্রশংসা করেছেন। মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের বিনিয়োগ আনার প্রয়াসের প্রশংসা করেছেন। তাঁরা খুব আগ্রহের সঙ্গে সম্মেলনে অংশগ্রহণও করেছেন।

বার্ষিক বিশ্ব বঙ্গ বাণিজ্য সম্মেলনে সরকার বাংলার সম্ভাবনার কথা তুলে ধরে বিনিয়োগ আনতে চায়। সাফল্য তুলে ধরার পাশাপাশি রাজ্যের উচিত এই মঞ্চের মাধ্যমে বাণিজ্য গোষ্ঠীর সঙ্গে নিয়মিত বার্তালাপ করা যার ফলে “শিল্প গড়ার সুবিধা” আরও সহজ হয়, যাতে একজন বিনিয়োগকারী এমনভাবে নিজেকে তৈরী করতে পারে যাতে কর্মসংস্থান হবে (সুনিল কানোরিয়া, ভাইস চেয়ারম্যান, শ্রেয়ি ইনফ্রাস্ট্রাকচার ফিনান্স লিমিটেড)

বিশ্ব বঙ্গ বাণিজ্য সম্মেলন ২০১৫ ছিল একটি মাইলস্টোন অনুষ্ঠান যেখানে বিনিয়োগকারীদের থেকে খুব আশাপ্রদ প্রতিক্রিয়া পাওয়া গেছে, আমরা আগামী সম্মেলনে যোগদান করার জন্য আগ্রহী (গৌরব স্বরুপ, চেয়ারম্যান, ফিকি ওয়েস্ট বেঙ্গল স্টেট কাউন্সিল অ্যান্ড এমডি, পাহাড়পুর কুলিং টাওয়ার্স)

বাংলার অর্থনীতি পূর্ববর্তী বছরের ক্রমবর্ধমান মন্দার সফল ভাবে প্রতিরোধ করতে সক্ষম হয়েছে ও আজ বাংলা উন্নতির মুখে। আমরা বাংলায় উন্নতি করতে চাই যার ফলে ক্রেতা ও বিনিয়োগকারী উভয়ই সমৃদ্ধ হবে। এই রাজ্যের শিল্পায়নের গতির সাফল্যকে আমরা কটক ও রাজগঙ্গাপুরে অনুকরন করেছি, প্রথম দফার কাজ শেষ করে শালবনিতে আমরা আমাদের উপস্থিতি আরও বাড়াতে চাই, আমাদের উন্নত মেশিনের মাধ্যমে সারা রাজ্যে সিমেন্ট পৌঁছে যাবে, পরিকাঠামো উন্নয়নে উন্নতি আসবে (পুনিত ডালমিয়া, এমডি, ডালমিয়া ভারত অ্যান্ড গ্রুপ ডিরেক্টর, ওসিএল ইন্ডিয়া লিমিটেড)

নির্মাণক্ষেত্রে বাংলায় প্রচুর সুযোগ আছে-আমাদের ভৌগলিক সুবিধা, দক্ষ শ্রমিক ও প্রাকৃতিক সম্পদের সুবিধা আছে (সুমিত মজুমদার, সিএমডি, টিআইএল লিমিটেড)

আমরা ১২ বছর এ রাজ্যে আছি ও ১৬০০ কোটি টাকা বিনিয়োগ করেছি। এখানে শিল্প গড়ার সুবিধা আছে, রাজনৈতিক ও প্রশাসনিক ব্যবস্থায় যেকোনো সমস্যার সহজে সমাধান হয় (ওয়াইকে মোদী,এক্সিকিউটিভ চেয়ারম্যান, গ্রেট ইস্টার্ন এনার্জি কর্পোরেশন লিমিটেড)

আমি নিশ্চিত রাজ্যের উন্নয়নের পাশাপাশি বিশ্ব বঙ্গ বাণিজ্য সম্মেলন বিনিয়োগের এক নতুন যুগের সুচনা করবে।এখানকার বাতাবরন আশাপ্রদ এবং আমি আশাবাদী (ভিরেশ ওবেরয়, ফর্মার সিইও অ্যান্ড এমডি, এমজাঙ্কশন সার্ভিসেস লিমিটেড)

উন্নয়নশীল মুখ্যমন্ত্রী ও তাঁর দল রাজ্যে একটি রূপান্তরমূলক পরিবর্তন এনেছেন যা আগে কখনো এমনভাবে বিনিয়োগকারীদের আকৃষ্ট করেনি (ডঃ জ্যোৎস্না সুরি, সিএমডি, ভারত হোটেলস লিমিটেড)

এই প্রতিযোগিতার যুগে আমি প্রথমেই বলতে চাই কেন আজ বাংলা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। এর তিনটি প্রধান কারণ- অবস্থানগত, গতি (দুরত্ব এবং সরবরাহ), প্রতিভার সহজলভ্যতা, সরকারের সহযোগিতা (ডঃ পূর্ণেন্দু চ্যাটার্জি, ফাউন্ডার অ্যান্ড চেয়ারম্যান দি চ্যাটার্জি গ্রুপ)

বিশ্ব বঙ্গ বাণিজ্য সম্মেলন একটি বিশেষ অনুষ্ঠান। আমরা কয়েকটি বিনিয়োগ চুক্তি স্বাক্ষর করেছি, যেমন এম আর টি এস হাব। এতে বাংলার নির্মাণ শিল্প পুনরুজ্জীবিত হবে। এতে অতিরিক্ত বিদেশী বিনিয়োগ আসবে, যা আমরা ইতিমধ্যেই বিমানবন্দরের মাধ্যমে পেয়েছি (পার্থ ঘোষ, এমডি, বেঙ্গল এরোট্রোপলিস প্রোজেক্টস লিমিটেড)

এটি রাজ্যের এক অসাধারণ প্রয়াস, আমি মুখ্যমন্ত্রী ও তাঁর দলকে আমার শুভেচ্ছা জানাতে চাই। এর ফলে বিশ্বের কাছে খুব ভালো বার্তা গেছে এবং এও দেখা যাচ্ছে যে ভারতীয় নেতারা রাজনৈতিক আদর্শের থেকে অর্থনৈতিক উন্নয়নে বেশী গুরুত্ব দেন (উমেশ চৌধুরী ভাইস চেয়ারম্যান এন্ড এম ডি টিটাগড় ওয়াগনস লিমিটেড)

Over the past three years, Bengal Global Business Summit has emerged as one of the foremost business summits in India. Some of the top industrialists have participated in these summits, along with several international companies.

The summits have brought substantial investments too, something that was unimaginable during the Left Front rule. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s vision of industrial growth and prosperity for Bengal is bearing fruit.

The first edition of this summit was organised on January 7 and 8, 2015. The summit received participation from 20 countries and regions including the UK, Japan, USA, Singapore, Australia, China, Malaysia, Taiwan, Israel, Spain, Belarus, Czech Republic, Korea, Luxembourg and the neighbouring countries of Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan. Captains of Indian industry and global entrepreneurs were invited to share their experiences and their future business plans for the state. Investment proposals worth Rs 2.4 lakh crore were received.

The second edition of the summit was held on January 8 and 9, 2016. It has plenary sessions addressed by dignitaries from India and abroad and national and international speakers who shared their thoughts and experiences. The summit also focused on B2B (business-to-business) and G2B (government-to-business) interactions. BGBS 2016 had the presence of industry leaders, senior ministers from India and abroad, heads of business, and government leaders from 26 countries including USA, UK, Italy, Spain, Germany, Japan, China, Korea, Bhutan, Bangladesh, etc. participated in the Summit. Living up to the tagline of ‘Bengal Surging Ahead’, BGBS 2016 concluded on a very high and optimistic note. Rs 2.50 lakh crore of business announcements, business document exchanges, expressions of interest and investment proposals were received at the summit.

The third edition of the summit, held on January 21 and 22, 2017, resulted in expressions of interest and investment proposals worth Rs 2.35 lakh crore. It was inaugurated by Pranab Mukherjee, the President of India, and plenary sessions were addressed by dignitaries and business leaders, from both India and abroad. There was participation by over 4,000 delegates from across India and 29 other countries. Japan, Poland, Italy & Germany were the partner countries.

 

ফিরে দেখা বিশ্ব বঙ্গ বাণিজ্য সম্মেলন ২০১৫-১৭

গত তিন বছরে দেশের অন্যতম সফল বাণিজ্য সম্মেলন হিসেবে আত্মপ্রকাশ করেছে বিশ্ব বঙ্গ বাণিজ্য সম্মেলন। অনেক শীর্ষস্থানীয় শিল্পপতি ও আন্তর্জাতিক সংস্থা এই সম্মেলনে অংশ নিয়েছে। এসেছে বিপুল বিনিয়োগ। এই শিল্পমুখী পরিস্থিতি বাম আমলে ছিল কল্পনার অতীত। মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের অনুপ্রেরণায় এই সুফল এসছে।

প্রথম বিশ্ব বঙ্গ বাণিজ্য সম্মেলন হয় ২০১৫ সালের ৭ ও ৮ জানুয়ারি। অংশ নেয় ২০টি দেশ: ব্রিটেন, জাপান, আমেরিকা, সিঙ্গাপুর, অস্ট্রেলিয়া, চিন, মালয়েশিয়া, তাইওয়ান, ইসরায়েল, স্পেন, বেলারুস, চেক রিপাবলিক, কোরিয়া, লুক্সেম্বরগ এবং প্রতিবেশী রাষ্ট্র বাংলাদেশ, নেপাল ও ভূটান। ভারতের পাশাপাশি বিদেশের নামী শিল্পপতিরা উপস্থিত ছিলেন এই সম্মেলনে। ২.৪ লক্ষ কোটি টাকার বিনিয়োগের প্রস্তাব আসে।

দ্বিতীয় বিশ্ব বঙ্গ বাণিজ্য সম্মেলন অনুষ্ঠিত হয় ২০১৬ সালের ৮ ও ৯ জানুয়ারি। দেশ বিদেশের অতিথিরা তাদের অভিজ্ঞতা তুলে ধরেন এই সম্মেলনে। এই সম্মেলনে জোর দেওয়া হয়েছিল বিজনেস টু বিজনেস ও গভার্ন্মেন্ট টু বিজনেস আলোচনার ওপর। এই সম্মেলনে ২৬টি দেশ অংশ নেয়: আমেরিকা, ব্রিটেন, ইতালি, স্পেন, জার্মানি, জাপান, চিন, কোরিয়া, ভূটান, বাংলাদেশ ও অন্যান্য দেশ। সম্মেলনের ট্যাগ লাইন ছিল ‘বেঙ্গল সার্জিং অ্যাহেড’। এই সম্মেলনে ২.৫ লক্ষ কোটি টাকার বিনিয়োগের প্রস্তাব আসে।

তৃতীয় বিশ্ব বঙ্গ বাণিজ্য সম্মেলন অনুষ্ঠিত হয় ২০১৭ সালের ২১ ও ২২ জানুয়ারি। ২.৩৫ লক্ষ কোটি টাকার বিনিয়োগের প্রস্তাব আসে। ভারতের তৎকালীন রাষ্ট্রপতি প্রনব মুখোপাদ্ধ্যায় উদ্বোধন করেন এই সম্মেলন। দেশ বিদেশের শিল্পপতিরা বক্তব্য রাখেন। ২৯ টি দেশ থেকে ৪০০০ এরও বেশী প্রতিনিধি অংশ নেন এই সম্মেলনে। জাপান, পোল্যান্ড, ইতালি ও জার্মানি ছিল সম্মেলনের পার্টনার দেশ।
