Trinamool Congress Chairperson Mamata Banerjee addressed rallies in Para and Raghunathpur towns in Purulia today, on the third day of her Jangalmahal campaign for the forthcoming Assembly election.
After that she went to Bankura district, where she addressed another rally in Ranibandh.
Yesterday, she had visited the towns of Jaipur, Kashipur and Manbazar, also in Purulia district, to huge receptions.
In her speeches yesterday, Mamata Banerjee had harped on the peace and tranquillity that has returned to the Jangalmahal region in the course of the Trinamool Congress Government over the last four-and-a-half years. She had also criticised the Congress-CPI(M) alliance, saying, “The Congress and the CPI(M) have become one team today and have sold off their flags to each other.”
She reiterated her party’s commitment to a progressive and people-friendly government, saying “Trinamool is the only party which is for the people and we are willing to sacrifice our lives for the people.”
On development
We are providing free healthcare to the people, we are setting up a multi super-speciality hospital in Raghunathpur. We have set up fair-price medicine shops that provide 40-70% discounts on medicines. A Krishak Bazaar and an industrial estate are coming up in Raghunathpur. A thermal power station is coming up in Raghunathpur. Many steel-related industries are also coming up. I want Purulia to surge in industrialisation. I want Bengal to march ahead. By the end of this month every rural household in Purulia will have electricity.
We brought the entire Secretariat to districts to conduct administrative meetings to take Bengal’s development to the people, to the grassroots.
Peace has returned to Purulia. Tourists are coming to Jangalmahal again. Purulia’s Chhau dance won the first prize in Delhi. We sent a team of Chhau dancers even to Paris.
On education
ITI and polytechnic colleges are coming up in Raghunathpur. Under the Kanyashree Scheme, 33 lakh girls have been registered. Students of classes 9-12 are getting bicycles under Sabuj Sathi scheme.
The Centre only talks big. They stopped funds for ICDS, SSA and Jangalmahal Development programmes. We have undertaken a project worth Rs 1,200 crore to solve the water crisis in Purulia. We are building check-dams for improving irrigation facilities; we are promoting fish culture and lac cultivation in this district.
We are giving free textbooks and school uniforms to students. We have given the highest number of scholarships in India to minority-community students.
The days of violence and terror are over. There is a surge of development.
On Trinamool
Trinamool is the only party that works for the people. Trinamool believes in communal harmony and secularism.
They are insulting Rabindranath, Nazrul, Vivekananda, Ambedkar and Netaji. We will not allow this. There is no question of the people of Bengal supporting the BJP; and people will not accept the alliance of convenience between the Congress and the CPI(M). Congress has joined hands with CPI(M) which killed thousands of Congress workers. We walked out of Congress because we cannot compromise with the CPI(M).
We are giving rice at Rs 2/kg to 8 crore people of the State. We are giving allowances to 60,000 folk artistes. They have got their due recognition.
BJP and Congress have governments in many States but only Bengal has solved the LWE problem.
We have to utilise the minerals available in Purulia district. We will focus on newer industries.
BJP has a government in our neighbouring State but hardly works. And they give lectures in Bengal.
Why did the BJP and the Congress not initiate any investigation against the CPI(M)?

আজ পুরুলিয়া সফরের তৃতীয় দিন মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের। আজ পুরুলিয়ায় দুটি জনসভা করার কথা তাঁর। পুরুলিয়া শহরের রঘুনাথপুরের রামচন্দ্রপুরে প্রথম সভাটি করেন তৃণমূল নেত্রী। তাঁর দ্বিতীয় সভাটি পারা এলাকায়।
এরপর তিনি বাঁকুড়া রওনা হবেন এবং বাঁকুড়ার রানিবাঁধে তৃতীয় সভাটি করেন।
গতকাল তিনি পুরুলিয়ার জয়পুর, কাশিপুর এবং মানবাজারে প্রচার করেন।
তিনি তার গতকালের বক্তব্যে বলেন যে গতকাল তার বক্তব্যে তৃণমূল নেত্রী বলেন যে ২০১১ সালের আগে জঙ্গলমহলের মানুষ ভীত ও সন্ত্রস্ত ছিল। এখন সেখানে সর্বত্র শান্তি বিরাজ করছে। তিনি বলেন আজ জঙ্গলমহলে শান্তি ফিরে এসেছে এবং এটা সম্ভব হয়েছে সেখানকার মানুষের আশীর্বাদ ও সহযোগিতায়। এজন্য তিনি জঙ্গলমফল বাসীকে ধন্যবাদ জানান।সিপিএম-কংগ্রেস জোটকে কটাক্ষ করে তিনি বলেন, সিপিএম ও কংগ্রেস নিজেদের আদর্শ-ন্যায়-নীতি বিসর্জন দিয়ে তারা জোট গঠন করেছে।
তৃণমূল নেত্রী বলেন,‘তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস একমাত্র সরকার যারা মানুষের জন্য কাজ করে, যারা সাধারণ মানুষের জন্য জীবন দিতেও প্রস্তুত’।

- এই মাসের শেষেই পুরুলিয়ার সব ঘরে বিদ্যুৎ পৌঁছে যাবে
- আমরা রাজ্যের ৮ কোটি মানুষকে ২ টাকা কেজি চাল দিচ্ছি
- ৩৩ লক্ষ ছাত্রী কন্যাশ্রী প্রকল্পের সুবিধা পেয়েছে
- দশম থেকে দ্বাদশ শ্রেণি পর্যন্ত ছাত্রছাত্রীদের সবুজ সাথী প্রকল্পে সাইকেল প্রদান করা হয়েছে
- কেন্দ্র বড় বড় কথা বলে। আইসিডিএস, সর্ব শিক্ষা ও জঙ্গলমহল উন্নয়নের জন্য টাকা দেওয়া বন্ধ করে দিয়েছে কেন্দ্র
- আমরা ৬০০০০ লোকশিল্পীদের মাসিক ভাতা দিচ্ছি, তারা এখন তাদের যোগ্য সম্মান পাচ্ছে
- পুরুলিয়ায় এখন শান্তি ফিরে এসেছে, পর্যটকরাও এখন জঙ্গলমহলে আসছে
- বিজেপি এবং কংগ্রেস অনেক রাজ্যেই ক্ষমতায় আছে একমাত্র বাংলাই মাওবাদী সমস্যার সমাধান করেছে
- হিংসা ও সন্ত্রাসবাদ এখন শেষ হয়েছে, এখন চারদিকে শুধু উন্নয়নের জোয়ার বইছে
- পুরুলিয়ার জল সংকটের জন্য আমরা ১২০০ কোটি টাকার একটি প্রকল্প শুরু করেছি
- পুরুলিয়া জেলায় মাছ চাষ ও লাক্ষা চাষের জন্যও উৎসাহিত করেছি
- আমি চাই পুরুলিয়া শিল্প হোক, আমি চাই বাংলা আরও এগিয়ে যাক

- সব সরকারি হাসপাতালে বিনামূল্যে স্বাস্থ্য পরিষেবা দেওয়ার ব্যবস্থা করা হয়েছে কারণ আমরা সাধারণ মানুষকে ভালোবাসি
- সেচ ব্যবস্থার সুবিধার জন্য ৫০০ কোটি টাকার প্রকল্প শুরু হয়েছে
- জল সংকট সমস্যা সমাধানের জন্য আমরা ১২০০ কোটি টাকার একটি প্রকল্প শুরু করেছি
- তৃণমূল একমাত্র দল যারা সাধারণ মানুষের জন্য কাজ করে
- তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস সাম্প্রদায়িক সম্প্রীতিতে বিশ্বাস করে
- বিজেপি বাংলায় এসে বড় বড় কথা বলে, ওরা রবীন্দ্র, নজরুল, বিবেকানন্দ, আম্বেদকার ও নেতাজিকে অপমান করছে
- আমরা বাংলায় রবীন্দ্র-নজরুলের অপমান বরদাস্ত করব না
- দিল্লি থেকে বিজেপি নেতারা এখানে এসে বড় বড় কথা বলছেন, কেন তারা এখনও ছত্রিশগড়ে নকশালরাজ বন্ধ করতে পারেনি?
- হাজার হাজার কংগ্রেস কর্মীর মৃত্যুর পরও আজ সিপিএম কংগ্রেসের সঙ্গে জোট করেছে
- মানুষ এই সুবিধাবাদী জোট মেনে নেবে না। আমরা কংগ্রেস ত্যাগ করেছিলাম কারণ আমরা সিপিএম-কংগ্রেসের আঁতাত মেনে নিতে পারিনি
- বাংলার মানুষ কোনভাবেই বিজেপিকে সমর্থন করবে না
- বিজেপি এবং কংগ্রেস সিপিএমের বিরুদ্ধে কেন তদন্ত করেনি?
- দিল্লিতে পুরুলিয়ার ছৌ নাচ প্রথম স্থান অধিকার করেছে। আমরা প্যারিসেও ছৌ নাচের একটি দল পাঠিয়েছিলাম
- একসময় পুরুলিয়া শুধু অবহেলিত হত। সেখানে চারদিকে শুধু হিংসা আর ভয়ের রাজনীতি হত
- আমরা জঙ্গলমহলের শান্তি ফিরিয়ে এনেছি। আমরা আমাদের প্রতিশ্রুতি রক্ষা করতে পেরেছি তাই আমরা গর্বিত
- কংগ্রেসের সঙ্গে সিপিএমের বোঝাপড়ার কারণেই আমরা ১৯৯৮ সালে আমরা তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস তৈরি করেছি
- ২০১০-১১ সালে ৪০০ জন লোক নিহত হয়েছেন জঙ্গলমহলে। আমরা সেই সংখ্যা শূন্যতে নামিয়ে এনেছি
- ২০১১ সালে বন্ধের জন্য ৭৮ লক্ষ শ্রমদিবস নষ্ট হয়েছে, বর্তমানে এই সংখ্যা শূন্য
- কংগ্রেস-সিপিএম তাদের আদর্শ ও নীতিকে বিসর্জন দিয়েছে
- পুরুলিয়ার উন্নয়নের ধারাকে অব্যাহত রাখতে তৃণমূলকে ভোট দিন
- মা বোনেরা বেঁধে জোট, জোড়াফুলে সব ভোট
- মা, মাটি মানুষের ভালবাসা ও আশীর্বাদে ২০১৯-য়ে দিল্লিতেও তৃণমূল বিজেপিকে হারাবে
- আমরা বাংলাকে বিশ্ব সেরা বানাতে চাই
