Trinamool Youth Congress President Abhishek Banerjee on Sunday slammed the Congress-CPI(M) alliance in a election campaign rally held at Karunamoyiee in Bidhannagar.

In Karunamoyee, Abhishek Banerjee threw an open challenge to the CPI(M) saying that if the CPI(M) can even list 10% of the development they have done in the last 34 years, he’ll quit politics.

He added that the people of Bengal have witnessed the development brought by Mamata Banerjee. ‘Congress have been tortured by the CPI(M). In many places around the State, CPI(M) workers had cut off hands of Congress workers. They have destroyed their homes, attacked families of Congress workers. Even after all this, the Congress is together with the CPI(M) now,’ he said.

The young firebrand MP further added, ‘Bengal wants development. And the people of Bengal have witnessed the development brought about by Mamata Banerjee in the last 5 years and that is the reason why the people will vote for Trinamool and bring us back to power.’

গতকাল বিধাননগরের করুণাময়ীতেও একটি নির্বাচনী প্রচার করেন তৃণমূল যুব কংগ্রেসের সভাপতি অভিষেক বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। করুনাময়ীর জনসভা থেকে বাম-কংগ্রেসের জোটকে তীব্র ভাষায় আক্রমণ করেন।

এদিন তিনি বলেন, “সিপিএম ৩৪ বছরে কি উন্নয়ন করেছে, তার ১০ শতাংশের হিসেব দিতে পারলে রাজনীতির আঙিনায় আসব না”।

অভিষেক বলেন, “সিপিএমের হাতে অত্যাচারিত হয়েছে কংগ্রেস। হাজার হাজার কংগ্রেস কর্মীকে হত্যা করেছে সিপিএম। তারপর সেই সিপিএমের সঙ্গেই হাত মিলিয়েছে কংগ্রেস”।

তিনি আরও বলেন “বাংলার মানুষ উন্নয়ন চান। গত ৫ বছরে মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় পরিচালিত তৃণমূল সরকারের আমলে রাজ্যের অভূতপূর্ব উন্নয়ন হয়েছে এবং সেজন্যই মানুষ আবার তৃণমূলকে ভোট দেবে”।

The Trinamool Congress Government has brought about a lot of developmental initiatives to Bardhaman district. A lot of services are now reaching the people, which had never happened before.

There have been major developments in the sectors of rural development, agriculture, health, industry and education, among others.

 

Police

  • Four new police stations have been established: Durgapur women police station, Asansol-Durgapur women police station, Bardhaman women police station and Nadanghat police station.

 

Health and Family Welfare

  • Five special newborn care units (SNCUs) are already operational in Bardhaman Medical College and Hospital, Asansol District Hospital, Durgapur Sub-divisional Hospital, Katwa Sub-divisional Hospital, and Kalna Sub-divisional Hospital.
  • 23 sick newborn stabilisation units (SNSUs) are operational in the district.
  • Three critical care units (CCUs) are running in Durgapur, Asansol, and Bardhaman.

 

Education

  • Almost 2.45 lakh students have been presented with bicycles under the Sabuj Shathi Scheme.
  • 31 primary schools and 336 higher secondary schools have been established.
  • 24 primary schools have been upgraded to Madhyamik schools and 186 Madhyamik schools have been upgraded to Higher Secondary schools.

 

Agriculture and Land Reforms

  • We have developed Mati Tirtha to initiate dialogues on agriculture and other related sectors.
  • An Agriculture University has been established in Sadhanpur to bring in modern scientific techniques in the sphere of agriculture.
  • To aid unemployed youth, 160 Bengal Dairy kiosks have been established in the district.

 

Panchayat and Rural Development

  • The State Government has facilitated the building of 62,000 houses under Indira Awaas Yojana.
  • Under Mission Nirmal Bangla, around 3.74 lakh toilets have been built in the district. In 2014-15, Bardhaman was ranked 4th nation-wide and 3rd in West Bengal based on the number of household toilets built.

 

Minorities Development

  • Around Rs 110 crore have been spent on various schemes under the Multi-Sectoral Development Programme (MSDP).
  • 535 Anganwadi centres have been established at a cost of Rs 23.72 crore
  • Rs 141.25 crore has been spent to provide arsenic-free water.
  • Backward Classes and Adivasi Development
  • More than 3 lakh SC/ST/OBC certificates have been granted in the last four-and-a-half years.

 

Women and Child Development

  • Families which have severely malnourished children are being provided Rs 240 and 25 kg of rice as GR. This has led to the number of malnourished children going down from 2,513 to 586.

 

Khadya Sathi

  • The government is buying foodgrains at a rate higher than the minimum support price to help the farmers.

 

Industry

  • 35 clusters of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) have been established which has led to numerous employment opportunities.
  • 2 industrial estates have been set up in Durgapur and Shaktigarh.

 

PWD and Transport

  • Renovation of roads: NH-2B at a cost of Rs 17 crore, Saptagram-Tribeni-Kalna-Katwa at cost of Rs 35 crore, Muchipara-Shibpur at a cost of Rs 22 crore and Bhatar-Banprash at a cost of Rs 9 crore.

 

Power

  • To strengthen the electricity infrastructure, Rs 391 crore was spent in rural areas and Rs 262 crore in urban areas.

 

Irrigation

  • Rs 71 crore have been spent on upgrading canals and flood management.

 

Public Health and Engineering

  • To combat the problem of arsenic-polluted water, a surface water-based project has been set up in Purbasthali-2 block.

 

Labour

  • More than 22,000 people have been registered under West Bengal Transport Workers Social Security Scheme.
  • More than 9,000 people are receiving incentives under the Yuvashree Scheme.

 

Self-Help Groups and Schemes

  • 15 Karma Tirtha have been set up.

 

Urban Development

  • Around 20,000 homes have been built for the poor in urban areas.

 

Sports and Youth Affairs

  • Stadiums to be built in Bhatar and Memari

 

In 2007-11, the State Government had a budget of Rs 160 crore for developments in the region, which went up to Rs 609 crore in 2011-15, after the creation of Paschimanchal Unnayan Affairs Department. This shows the commitment of the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress Government to West Bengal.

 

বর্ধমান জেলার উন্নয়নের জোয়ার 

রাজ্য ও অন্যান্য জেলার সঙ্গে তাল মিলিয়ে বিগত সাড়ে চার বছর সময়কালে অভূতপূর্ব উন্নয়ন ঘটেছে এই বর্ধমান জেলায়। এই জেলায় বিগত সাড়ে চার বছরে ৮৫ শতাংশ মানুষের কাছে বিভিন্ন সরকারী প্রকল্পের সুবিধা পৌঁছে দেওয়া গেছে।

স্বরাষ্ট্র :-

প্রশাসনিক সুবিধার্থে ও উন্নয়নের স্বার্থে বর্ধমান (শিল্পাঞ্চল) ও বর্ধমান (গ্রামীণ) ২টি পৃথক জেলা গঠনের সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণ করা হয়েছে। জেলায় নতুন থানা হিসাবে দুর্গাপুর মহিলা থানা, আসানসোল-দুর্গাপুর মহিলা থানা, বর্ধমান মহিলা থানা ও নাদনঘাট থানা স্থাপন করা হয়েছে।

স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার কল্যান :-

SNCU মোট ৫টি জায়গায়, চালু হয়ে গেছে।এগুলি হল:- বর্ধমান মেডিক্যাল কলেজ ও হাসপাতাল, আসানসোল জেলা হাসপাতাল ও দুর্গাপুর মহকুমা হাসপাতালে, কাটোয়া মহকুমা হাসপাতাল, কালনা মহকুমা হাসপাতালে।

জেলায় মোট ২৩টি SNCU চালু হয়ে গেছে।

CCU মোট তিনটি জায়গায়:- দুর্গাপুর মহকুমা হাসপাতাল, আসানসোল জেলা হাসপাতাল, বর্ধমান মেডিক্যাল কলেজ ও হাসপাতালে চালু হয়ে গেছে।

শিক্ষা:

এই জেলায় প্রায় ২ লক্ষ ৪৫ হাজার ছাত্র-ছাত্রীকে সবুজসাথী প্রকল্পে সাইকেল প্রদান করা হয়েছে।

বিগত সাড়ে ৪ বছরে জেলায় নতুন ৩১টি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় ও ৩৩৬টি উচ্চ প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।

পাশাপাশি ২৪টি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়কে উচ্চ প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় স্তরে এবং ১৮৬টি মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়কে উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয় স্তরে উন্নীত করা হয়েছে।

ভূমি সংস্কার, কৃষি, মৎস্য ও পশুপালন

কৃষি, মৎসচাষ, পশুপালন ও সহযোগী ক্ষেত্রগুলির জন্য মত বিনিময় ও আদানপ্রদানের স্থায়ী পরিকাঠামো হিসাবে আমরা গড়ে তুলছি মাটি তীর্থঞ্চ। মাটি উৎসবের প্রাঙ্গণে এর স্থায়ী পরিকাঠামো গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।

বৈজ্ঞানিক পদ্ধতিতে আধুনিক কৃষি শিক্ষা প্রচারের জন্যে আমাদের সরকার এক বলিষ্ট পদক্ষেপের মাধ্যমে বর্ধমান জেলার সাধনপুরে একটি নতুন কৃষি মহাবিদ্যালয় স্থাপন করেছে।

পাশাপাশি বেকার যুবক, যুবতীদের কর্ম সংস্থানের লক্ষে ১৬০টি আনশফতর ঈভতক্ষঁ ঔভষড়য জেলায় জেলায় গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।

পঞ্চায়েত ও গ্রামোন্নয়ন:

গত সাড়ে ৪ বছরে জেলায় ৬২ হাজারের বেশি ইন্দিরা আবাসন ঘর করা হয়েছে। আগামী মে মাসের মধ্যে আরও ১৩ হাজার ঘর নির্মিত হয়ে যাবে।

জেলায় মিশন নির্মল বাংলা প্রকল্পে প্রায় ৩ লক্ষ ৭৪ হাজার শৌচালয় নির্মাণ সম্পূর্ণ হয়েছে। ২০১৪-১৫ সালে বর্ধমান জেলা পারিবারিক শৌচাগার নির্মাণের ক্ষেত্রে সারা ভারতবর্ষের মধ্যে চতুর্থ স্থান এবং রাজ্যে তৃতীয় স্থান অর্জন করেছে।২০১৬ সালের মার্চ মাসের মধ্যে বর্ধমান জেলার প্রতিটি পরিবারে শৌচাগার নির্মাণের কাজ ১০০ শতাংশ পূরন হবে।

সংখ্যালঘু উন্নয়ন :

MSDP- তে প্রায় ১১০ কোটি টাকা ব্যয় করে সংখ্যালঘু সম্প্রদায়ের উন্নয়নে বিবিধ প্রকল্প রূপায়িত করা হয়েছে।

জেলায় সংখ্যালঘু উন্নয়নে মোট ৫৩৫টি অঙ্গনত্তয়াড়ী কেন্দ্র ২৩.৭২ কোটি অর্থ ব্যয় করে নির্মিত হয়েছে।

অনগ্রসর কল্যাণ ও আদিবাসী উন্নয়ন:

বিগত সাড়ে ৪ বছরে প্রায় ৩ লক্ষ জাতি শংসাপত্র প্রদান করা হয়েছে।

নারী ও শিশু উন্নয়ন :

শিশুদের মধ্যে অপুষ্টি হার কমানোর জন্য আঙ্গনওয়াড়ী কেন্দ্রের মাধ্যমে পরিপূরক পুষ্টি সরবরাহ করা হচ্ছে।  অতিঅপুষ্টি শিশুদের পরিবারগুলিকে ২৪০ টাকা ও ২৫ কেজি চাল জি-আর হিসাবে দেওয়া হচ্ছে। অতিপুষ্টিজনিত শিশুদের পরিবারগুলিকে গ্রামীন কর্ম নিশ্চয়তা প্রকল্পের আওতায় আনা হয়েছে।তার ফলে এক বছরে অতিঅপুষ্টি শিশুর সংখ্যা ২৫১৩ থেকে কমে ৫৮৬ হয়েছে।

খাদ্য সুরক্ষা কর্মসূচী- খাদ্য সাথী প্রকল্প :

খাদ্য শস্যের যোগান সুনিশ্চিত করতে আমরা কৃষকদের থেকে বেশি দামে খাদ্য শস্য ক্রয় করা হচ্ছে। এতে কৃষকরাও বিশেষভাবে উপকৃত হচ্ছেন,তাঁরা ফসলের উপযুক্ত দাম পাচ্ছেন।

শিল্প:

জেলায় ক্ষুদ্র, ছোট ও মাঝারি উদ্যোগের ৩৫টি ক্লাস্টার গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে। এর ফলে প্রচুর মানুষের কর্মসংস্থান সুনিশ্চিত করা গেছে।

দূর্গাপুরে ও শক্তিগড়ে ২টি শিল্প তালুক গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।

পূর্ত ও পরিবহন :

৩৫ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে সপ্তগ্রাম-ত্রিবেণী- কালনা-কাটোয়া রাস্তার  সংস্কার, ২২ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে মুচিপাড়া-শিবপুর রাস্তা, ৯ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে ভাতার-বনপাস রাস্তা প্রভৃতি।

বিদ্যুৎ ও অচিরাচরিত শক্তি :-

বর্ধমান জেলার গ্রামীণ এলাকায় বিদ্যুতের পরিকাঠামো উন্নয়নে ৩৯১ কোটি টাকার ও বর্ধমান জেলার শহর এলাকায় বিদ্যুতের পরিকাঠামো উন্নয়নে ২৬২ কোটি টাকার দুটি প্রকল্পের কাজ শুরু হয়েছে।

সেচ :-

সেচ ব্যবস্থা উন্নতিকল্পে এবং বন্যা নিয়ন্ত্রনে বিভিন্ন প্রকল্পের মাধ্যমে ৭১ কোটি টাকা ব্যায়িত হয়েছে।

জনস্বাস্থ্য কারিগরী  :

আর্সেনিক অধ্যুষিত এলাকায় আর্সেনিক দূষণের মোকাবিলায় পূর্বস্থলী-২ ব্লকে ১টি জল সরবরাহ প্রকল্প রূপায়িত হয়েছে।

শ্রম:-

অনুরূপভাবে,  WBTWS প্রকল্পে ২২ হাজারেরও বেশি পরিবহন কর্মী নথিভুক্ত হয়েছেন।

যুবশ্রী প্রকল্পে ৯ হাজারেরও বেশি যুবক-যুবতী উৎসাহ ভাতা পাচ্ছেন।

স্বনির্ভর দল ও স্বনিযুক্তি কর্মসূচী :-

জেলায় বিভিন্ন দপ্তরের মোট ২১টি কর্মতীর্থ নির্মাণের কাজ শুরু হয়েছিল, যার মধ্যে ইতিমধ্যেই ১৫টির কাজ সমাপ্ত হয়েছে, বাকী ৬টির কাজ চলছে।

পুর ও নগরোন্নয়ণ

বর্ধমান জেলায় শহরাঞ্চলে গরীবদের জন্যে প্রায় প্রায় ২০ হাজার বাসস্থান নির্মিত হয়েছে।

ক্রীড়া ও যুব কল্যাণ

বর্ধমান জেলায় ভাতার ও মেমারীতে স্টেডিয়াম নির্মাণের কাজ চলছে।

রাজ্য বাজেটে এই দপ্তরের পরিকল্পনা খাতে ব্যয় বরাদ্দ ২০০৭ -১১ সালে ছিল মাত্র ১৬০ কোটি টাকা, যা ২০১১-১৫ সালে বৃদ্ধি পেয়ে হয়েছে প্রায় ৬০৯ কোটি। জলসংরক্ষণ, সেচ, কৃষি, শিক্ষা, স্বাস্থ্য, সড়ক নির্মাণ, পানীয় জলের ব্যবস্থা প্রভৃতি প্রকল্পগুলি এই দপ্তর অগ্রাধিকার ভিত্তিতে রূপায়ণ করছে।

Waiting for report on sting

It is election time; that is why these videos are being telecast. Nothing can be done now. Candidates had already been announced. If it was earlier, I would have thought about it. Now I’m waiting for the report of the investigation into the sting.

Doubled tax revenues

We have doubled tax revenues in the last four years without increasing taxes – from Rs 20,000 crore to Rs 40,000 crore.

No financial freedom

We only got political right to administer the State, but not any financial freedom because both the Congress and the BJP governments took away substantial amounts from our revenues to pay off the debts left behind by the CPI(M).

Inherited huge debt

Narendra Modi ji’s government doesn’t have to pay such money for the debts of the previous government; that is the reason he can talk so big when he comes to Bengal. Neither do those of Rajasthan, Bihar, Gujarat or Uttar Pradesh.

To enable better administration, the Trinamool Congress Government created the district of Alipurduar on June 25, 2014, as West Bengal’s 20th district. As a result, people from the region are finding it much easier to access governmental services.

An administrative complex is also coming up in the district capital where all the main administrative, police and district health offices will be located.

Developments brought about in Alipurduar district by the Trinamool Congress Government:

 

Health

  • 2 fair price medicine shops set up at Alipurduar District Hospital and Birpara Hospital
  • As a result, almost 43,000 people have benefitted to the tune of Rs Rs 1.24 crore
  • Fair price diagnostic centre (FPDC) at Alipurduar District Hospital
  • Multi super-speciality hospital being built in Falakata
  • 8 sick newborn stabilisation units (SNSUs) set up
  • 2 sick newborn care units (SNCUs) – at Alipurduar District Hospital and Birpara Hospital – being constructed
  • A critical care unit (CCU) set up at Alipurduar District Hospital
  • A 50-bedded AYUSH hospital being built in Topshikhata

 

Education

  • Model schools being built in Kalchini and Madarihat
  • 50,000 students got bicycles under Sabuj Sathi Scheme
  • Mid-day meals being served in all schools, as a result of which health of students as well as their attendances have improved drastically
  • Separate toilets built for boys and girls in all schools
  • 18 secondary schools upgraded to higher secondary
  • Industrial training institutes (ITI) set up in Kumargram and Kalchini, and a polytechnic college in Kalchini
  • Primary teachers’ training institute (PTTI) set up in Patlakhawa

 

Land Reforms, Agriculture, Fishery, Animal Husbandry

  • About 1,500 landless families given patta and 3,500 forest patta given under Nijo Griha Nijo Bhumi (NGNB) Scheme
  • Almost 92% of farming families given Kisan Credit Cards (KCC)
  • Krishak Bazaar has come up in Falakata
  • A fish laboratory and a fishery training centre set up in Falakata
  • More than 70,000 ducklings and chickens distributed among self-help groups (SHG) to encourage self-sufficiency

 

100 Days’ Work

  • Rs 247 crore spent to create 78 lakh man-days

 

Panchayat and Rural Development

  • About 22,000 toilets built under Mission Nirmal Bangla
  • State Government has facilitated the building of 125 km of roads under Gram Sadak Yojana
  • State Government has facilitated the building of 15,000 houses under Indira Awaas Yojana

 

Minorities’ Development

  • Scholarships worth Rs 2 crore given to 10,000 students from minority communities
  • To encourage self-employment, Rs 3.5 crore worth loans given to youth from minority communities
  • The State has facilitated the spending of Rs 3.5 crore for various projects for minority groups under multi-sectoral development programme (MSDP), including five health sub-centres, 49 classrooms, 20 anganwadi centres and 200 houses

 

Backward Classes Welfare

  • 31,000 students being given scholarships under Shikshasree Scheme
  • More than 25,000 SC/ST/OBC certificates given out

 

Kanyashree Scheme

  • 33,500 students covered under Kanyashree Scheme

 

Khadya Suraksha and Khadya Sathi

  • 11 lakh people getting foodgrains at Rs 2 per kg

 

Welfare for tea gardens

  • The State Government has stood by tea garden workers and their families during their times of need
  • All tea garden workers’ families getting foodgrains at 47 paise per kg
  • Drinking water supply projects in the tea gardens
  • 25 anganwadi centres for children in the tea gardens
  • Scholarships under Shikshasree Scheme being given to about 1,000 students from the tea gardens

 

Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME)

  • 3 clusters for MSMEs set up – handloom cluster in Kumargram, and clusters for wooden furniture makers in Madarihat and Barvisa
  • Bank loans worth Rs 300 crore given to MSMEs in the district

 

PWD and Transport

  • 32 projects involving roads, bridges, etc., worth Rs 150 crore, benefitting 10 lakh people
  • Building, renovation and widening of 200 km of roads
  • Asian Highway Project: Asian Highway-2 (AH-2), connecting India, Nepal and Bangladesh and AH-48 connecting India, Bhutan and Bangladesh under construction
  • Rs 8.37 crore spent on building a road from Andu Basti More to South Mendabari More

 

Power & Non-conventional Energy

  • Under the Sabar Ghare Alo project, 100% rural electrification has been achieved
  • Rs 6 crore worth electricity substation at Birpara WBSETCL Compound in Alipurduar

 

Irrigation

  • Dam rectification work of over 50 km completed
  • Banks of Majur and Sankosh River, in Falakata block and Kumargram block, respectively, developed

 

Public Health Engineering

  • 16 drinking water projects, worth Rs 45 crore, completed, benefitting 1.5 lakh people
  • Drinking water projects in three tea gardens in Loknathpur, Jashodanga and Madarihat blocks set up
  • The two-decade old drinking water problem in forest villages in the Jayanti forest area mitigated by piping in purified water from the Jayanti River
  • Other drinking water projects: Pipelines built in Falakata block and two major tube well projects completed in Totopara and Madarihat blocks, wherein pipes were sunk to 600 feet and 630 feet, respectively

 

Tourism

  • Dooars Mega Tourism Project: 4 projects, worth Rs 3.5 crore, undertaken; first phase, covering Ratneshwar Jhil, Bakla, Shikiajhora and Hashimara, completed

 

Labour

  • 75,000 unorganised workers brought under the State-Assisted Scheme of Provident Fund for Unorganised Workers (SASPFUW), 46,000 construction workers, under the West Bengal Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Act (BOCWA), and 3,000 transport workers, under the West Bengal Transport Workers’ Social Security Scheme (WBTWSSS)
  • 1,000 youth being given scholarships under the Yuvashree Scheme

 

Self-Help Groups (SHG)

  • Under the Anandadhara Scheme, 2,500 SHGs formed
  • Under Swami Vivekananda Swanirbhar Karmasuchi Prakalpa, 2,000 developmental projects, worth Rs 15 crore, sanctioned

 

Urban Development

  • Rs 30 crore has been spent for the development of Alipurduar Municipality
  • More than 400 dwellings constructed for the urban poor

 

Information & Broadcasting

  • 1,200 folk artistes being given retainer fees and pensions

 

Housing

  • Under the Gitanjali Scheme, 1,100 dwellings for the economically weaker sections of society built

 

Youth Affairs & Sports

  • Alipurduar Indoor Stadium built at a cost of Rs 4 crore
  • Rs 48 lakh sanctioned for setting up 24 multi-gyms

 

Since its creation as West Bengal’s 20th district in 2014 by the Trinamool Congress Government, Alipurduar has had a lot of development. All departments have put in their best to bring about a lot of change in the region. The states of health, education, minorities’ welfare and everything else are much better. Building and renovation of roads have improved access. Tea garden workers are much better off.

আলিপুরদুয়ার জেলার অভূতপূর্ব উন্নয়ন 

সাড়ে চার বছরে সারা রাজ্যের সাড়ে নয় কোটি মানুষের মধ্যে প্রায় সাড়ে আট কোটি মানুষের হাতে আমরা কোন না কোন সরকারী পরিষেবার সুবিধা পৌঁছে দিতে পেরেছি । বাকি মানুষদের কাছে আমরা খুব দ্রুত পৌঁছে যাচ্ছি ।

জেলার , ব্লকের , গ্রামের প্রত্যন্ত অঞ্চলে বসবাসকারী পরিবারগুলির উন্নয়নে আমরা নিরন্তর রূপায়ণ করে চলেছি একগুচ্ছ প্রকল্প :-

আলিপুরদুয়ার জেলায় উন্নয়ন:- এক নজরে

২০১৪ সালের ২৫শে জুন, এই অঞ্চলের মানুষজনের দীর্ঘদিনের দাবিকে সম্মান জানিয়ে, জলপাইগুড়ি জেলাকে বিভক্ত করে আলিপুরদুয়ারকে পশ্চিমবঙ্গের ২০তম জেলা হিসাবে ঘোষনা করা হয়েছে। এর ফলে, আলিপুরদুয়ারের দূরদূরান্তের মানুষের সরকারি এবং অন্যান্য কাজে প্রভূত সুবিধা হয়েছে।

রাজ্য ও অন্যান্য জেলার সঙ্গে তাল মিলিয়ে অভূতপূর্ব উন্নয়ন ঘটেছে নবগঠিত এই আলিপুরদুয়ার জেলায়। এই জেলায় ৮১ শতাংশ মানুষের কাছে বিভিন্ন সরকারী প্রকল্পের সুবিধা পৌঁছে দেওয়া গেছে।

স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার কল্যান :-

আলিপুরদুয়ার জেলা হাসপাতাল এবং বীরপাড়া হাসপাতালে ২টি ন্যায্য মুল্যের ঔষধের দোকান চালু হয়ে গেছে। জেলার এই সকল ন্যায্য মূল্যের ওষুধের দোকান থেকে ওষুধ কেনার ফলে প্রায় ৪৩ হাজার মানুষ ১ কোটি ২৪ লক্ষ টাকার ছাড় পেয়েছেন।

আলিপুরদুয়ার জেলা হাসপাতালে ঊতভক্ষ ঙক্ষভদন ঈভতফশষড়ঢ়ভদ ইনশঢ়ক্ষন চালু হয়ে গেছে।

এই জেলায় মোট ৮টি SNSU চালু হয়ে গেছে।

আলিপুরদুয়ার জেলা হাসপাতালে SNCU চালু হয়ে গেছে। বীরপাড়া হাসপাতালে SNCU নির্মান চলছে।

আলিপুরদুয়ার জেলা হাসপাতালে একটি CCU চালু হয়ে গেছে।

ফালাকাটায় উন্নতমানের মাল্টি-সুপার স্পেশালিটি হাসপাতাল নির্মান চলছে।

তপসিখাতায় একটি ৫০-শয্যা বিশিষ্ট আয়ুষ হাসপাতাল নির্মানের কাজ চলছে।

শিক্ষা:

কুমারগ্রামে আই.টি.আই কলেজ নির্মান সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।

কালচিনিতে একটি আই.টি.আই কলেজ এবং একটি পলিটেকনিক কলেজ নির্মানের কাজ দ্রূতগতিতে চলছে।

এই জেলায় ৫০ হাজারেরও বেশি ছাত্র-ছাত্রীকে সবুজসাথী প্রকল্পে সাইকেল প্রদান করা হচ্ছে।

কালচিনি ও মাদারীহাটে নতুন মডেল স্কুল নির্মানের কাজ চলছে।

পাতলাখাওয়ায় একটি পি.টি.টি.আই কলেজের নির্মান সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।

জেলায় গত দেড় বছরে ১৮টি মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়কে উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয় স্তরে উন্নীত করা হয়েছে।

সব স্কুলে মিড-ডে-মিল চলছে যার ফলে পুষ্টি এবং উপস্থিতির হার বেড়েছে এবং স্কুল ছুট ছাত্রের সংখ্যা কমেছে।

প্রতিটি বিদ্যালয়ে ছেলে ও মেয়েদের জন্যে পৃথক শৌচাগার নির্মিত হয়েছে।

ভূমি সংস্কার, কৃষি, মৎস্য ও পশুপালন

জেলার প্রায় দেড় হাজার যোগ্য ভূমিহীন পরিবারের হাতে জ্ঞনিজ গৃহ নিজ ভূমিঞ্চ প্রকল্পে পা-া তুলে দেওয়া হয়েছে। জেলায় সাড়ে তিন হাজারের বেশি বন পাট্টা প্রদান করা হয়েছে।

এই জেলার প্রায় ৯২% কৃষক পরিবারকে কিষাণ ক্রেডিট কার্ডের আওতাভুক্ত করা হয়েছে। বাকিদের ও খুব দ্রুত কিষান ক্রেডিট কার্ড প্রদান করা হবে।

ফালকাটায় একটি কৃষক বাজার চালু হয়ে গেছে। এর পাশাপাশি আরও ৫টি কৃষক বাজার নির্মানের কাজ চলছে :-আলিপুরদুয়ার-১, আলিপুরদুয়ার-২, কুমারগ্রাম, কালচিনি ও মাদারিহাটে।

জেলার ফালাকাটায় প্রায় সাড়ে ৩ লক্ষ টাকা ব্যয়ে ব্লক-স্তরের মৎস্য পরীক্ষাগার ও প্রশিক্ষণ কেন্দ্র গড়ে তোলার ফলে প্রচুর মৎস্যজীবি এবং তাঁদের পরিবার উপকৃত হয়েছেন।

জেলায় প্রাণী সম্পদ উন্নয়ণ দপ্তর ৭০ হাজারেরও বেশি হাঁস ও মুরগীর বাচ্চা, বিভিন্ন স্বনির্ভর দলের মধ্যে বিতরণ করেছে।

পঞ্চায়েত ও গ্রামোন্নয়ন:

আলিপুরদুয়ার জেলায় বিভিন্ন ব্লকে ১০০ দিনের কাজে ২৪৭ কোটি টাকা ব্যয় করে প্রায় ৭৮ লক্ষ শ্রম দিবস সৃষ্টি হয়েছে। ২০১৬ সালের মে মাসের মধ্যে বিভিন্ন চালু প্রকল্প রূপায়ণের মাধ্যমে আরও অতিরিক্ত ১৩৩ কোটি টাকা খরচ হবে।

গ্রামীণ সড়ক যোজনায় ১২৫ কি. মি. রাস্তা নির্মিত হয়ে গেছে। আরও ২২ কি.মি. রাস্তা আগামী মে মাসের মধ্যে শেষ হয়ে যাবে।

জেলায় ১৫ হাজারের বেশি ইন্দিরা আবাসন ঘর আগামী মে মাসের মধ্যে নির্মিত হয়ে যাবে।

জেলায় মিশন নির্মল বাংলা প্রকল্পে প্রায় ২২ হাজার শৌচালয় নির্মাণ সম্পূর্ণ হয়েছে।

সংখ্যালঘু উন্নয়ন :

বিগত দেড় বছরে ১০ হাজারের বেশি সংখ্যালঘু ছাত্র-ছাত্রীকে প্রায় ২ কোটি টাকা স্কলারশিপ প্রদান করা হয়েছে। আরও সাড়ে ১০ হাজার ছাত্রছাত্রী আগামী মে মাসের মধ্যে স্কলারশিপ পেতে চলেছে।

এছাড়া স্বনির্ভরতার জন্য সংখ্যালঘু যুবক-যুবতীদের সাড়ে ৩ কোটি টাকা ঋণ প্রদান করা হয়েছে।

MSDP তে প্রায় সাড়ে ৩ কোটি টাকা ব্যয় করে সংখ্যালঘু সম্প্রদায়ের উন্নয়নে বিবিধ প্রকল্প রূপায়িত করা হয়েছে।

MSDP প্রকল্পে কালচিনি ব্লকে ৫টি হেলথ সাব-সেন্টার, ৪৯টি অতিরিক্ত শ্রেণী কক্ষ, ২০টি অঙ্গনওযাড়ী কেন্দ্র ও ২০০টি বাসগৃহ গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।

অনগ্রসর কল্যাণ ও আদিবাসী উন্নয়ণ:

প্রায় ৬১ হাজার ছাত্র-ছাত্রী শিক্ষাশ্রী প্রকল্পে সহায়তা পাচ্ছে। আরও ৩৭ হাজার ছাত্র-ছাত্রী আগামী মে মাসের মধ্যে প্রকল্পের আওতাভূক্ত হতে চলেছে।

আলিপুরদুয়ার জেলায় বিগত দেড় বছরে,  ইতিমধ্যেই ২৫ হাজারেরও বেশি জাতি শংসাপত্র প্রদান করা হয়েছে।

নারী ও শিশু উন্নয়ন:

নবগঠিত আলিপুরদুয়ার জেলায় সাড়ে ৩৩ হাজারেরও বেশি ছাত্রী কন্যাশ্রীর আওতায় এসেছে।

খাদ্য সুরক্ষা কর্মসূচী– খাদ্য সাথী প্রকল্প :

জেলায় প্রায় ১১ লক্ষ মানুষ ২/- টাকা কেজি দরে খাদ্যশস্য পাচ্ছেন।

চা বাগান :-

রাজ্যের প্রায় ২৮০টি চা বাগানে ১২ লক্ষেরও বেশি মানুষ বসবাস করেন। বর্তমান সরকার এই সমস্ত অঞ্চলে আবাসন, পানীয় জল সরবরাহ, রেশন, চিকিৎসা ও স্বাস্থ্যব্যবস্থা প্রভৃতি সহ একাধিক ক্ষেত্রে পরিষেবা প্রদান করে চলেছে।

খাদ্য সুরক্ষা কর্মসূচীতে চা বাগানের প্রতিটি পরিবারের জন্যে আমাদের সরকার প্রতি মাসে ২ টাকা কেজি দরে ৩৫ কেজি খাদ্যশস্য প্রদান করছে।

এছাড়া প্রত্যেককে মাসিক মাথা পিছু ৭০০ মিলি কেরোসিন তেলের ব্যবস্থা করা হয়েছে।

সকল যোগ্য শ্রমিককে FAWLOI প্রকল্পে অন্তর্ভুক্ত করা হয়েছে। এর আওতায় প্রায় দেড় হাজার শ্রমিক মাসে ১৫০০/- টাকা করে ভাতা পাচ্ছেন।

১০৬টি চা বাগানে রেশন দোকান স্বনির্ভর গোষ্ঠীর মাধ্যমে চালানোর কাজ শুরু হয়েছে।

চা বাগানগুলি থেকে পার্শ্ববর্তী হাসপাতালে যাওয়ার জন্য বিনামূল্যে অ্যম্বুলেন্স পরিষেবা চালু করা হয়েছে।

শিল্প:

জেলায় ক্ষুদ্র, ছোট ও মাঝারি উদ্যোগের ৩টি ক্লাস্টার গড়ে উঠেছে, এগুলি হল:- কুমারগ্রামে হ্যান্ডলুম ক্লাস্টার, মাদারীহাট ও বারভিসাতে কাঠের আসবাব তৈরীর ক্লাস্টার।

ক্ষুদ্র শিল্পের ক্ষেত্রে এই জেলায় প্রায় ৩০০ কোটি টাকার ব্যাঙ্ক ঋণ প্রদান করা হয়েছে, আগামী বছর মে মাসের মধ্যে আরও অতিরিক্ত ৫০ কোটি ব্যাঙ্ক ঋণ দেওয়া হবে।

পূর্ত ও পরিবহন :

বিগত সাড়ে চার বছরে এই জেলায় পূর্ত দপ্তর ৫০টি রাস্তাঘাট, ব্রীজ ইত্যাদি প্রকল্প রূপায়ণের কাজ হাতে নিয়েছে, যার মধ্যে ৩২টি প্রকল্পের কাজ প্রায় ১৫০ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে ইতিমধ্যেই সমাপ্ত হয়েছে। এর ফলে প্রায় ১০ লক্ষ মানুষ উপকৃত হচ্ছেন। বাকি ৯টি প্রকল্পের কাজ আগামী মে মাসের মধ্যে সমাপ্ত হবে।

জেলার সড়ক ব্যবস্থা উন্নয়নে বিশেষ গুরুত্ব দেওয়া হচ্ছে। জেলায় বিগত সাড়ে চার বছরে ২০০ কিমি রাস্তা নির্মাণ/পুর্ননির্মাণ/সম্প্রসারণ ও উন্নীতকরণের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।

এশিয়ান হাইওয়ে প্রোজেক্ট-এর অন্তর্গত পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সংযোগকারী নেপাল-বাংলাদেশ এশিয়ান হাইওয়ে-২ এবং ভূটান-বাংলাদেশ এশিয়ান হাইওয়ে-৪৮  নির্মানের কাজ চলছে।

বিদ্যুৎ ও অচিরাচরিত শক্তি :-

সমগ্র আলিপুরদুয়ার জেলায় জ্ঞসবার ঘরে আলোঞ্চ প্রকল্পে ১০০% গ্রামীণ বৈদ্যুতিকরণের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।

আলিপুরদুয়ার এর বীরপারা WBSETCL Compound এ নূতন ৩৩/১১ কেভি আলিপুরদুয়ার (দমনপুর) সাবস্টেশন তৈরীর কাজ শেষ হয়েছে। এই প্রকল্পের আনুমানিক ব্যয় প্রায় ৬ কোটি টাকা।

সেচ :

আলিপুরদুয়ার জেলায় ৫০ কিমি দৈর্ঘ্যের বাঁধ সংরক্ষণের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।

জনস্বাস্থ্য কারিগরী :

বিগত সাড়ে চার বছরে ১৯টি জলপ্রকল্পের কাজ শুরু হয়েছে, এর মধ্যে ৪৫ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে ১৬টির কাজ সমাপ্ত হয়েছে। এর ফলে জেলার প্রায় দেড় লক্ষ মানুষ উপকৃত হচ্ছেন।

আলিপুরদুয়ার ২নং ব্লকের অন্তর্গত লোকনাথপুর, যশোডাঙ্গা এবং মাদারিহাট ব্লকের অন্তর্গত ধুমচি পাড়া চা বাগান, গারগান্ডা চা বাগান, মুজনাই চা বাগান গুলির পানীয়জল সরবরাহ প্রকল্পের কাজ শেষ হয়েছে।

কালচিনি ব্লকের অন্তর্গত জয়ন্তী নদীর জলকে কাজে লাগিয়ে জয়ন্তী বনবস্তির দুই দশকের পানীয় জল সমস্যা নিরসণ করা গেছে।।

ফালাকাটা ব্লকের অন্তর্গত ছোটোশালকুমার মৌজায় পানীয়জল সরবরাহ প্রকল্পের জলাধার নির্মানের কাজ সম্পূর্ন হয়েছে।

মাদারিহাট ব্লকের অন্তর্গত টোটোপাড়াতে অনগ্রসর কল্যাণ দপ্তরের অর্থানুকুল্যে প্রায় ৬০০ ফুট গভীর নলকুপ বসানোর কাজ সফল হয়েছে। মাদারিহাট ব্লকের অন্তর্গত মাকড়াপাড়া জলসরবারাহ প্রকল্পের কাজ চলছে।।এখানে ৬৩০ ফুট গভীর নলকুপ সাফল্যের সাথে সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।

পর্যটন :

এই জেলায়, Dooars Mega Tourism Project এর অর্ন্তগত প্রায় সাড়ে ৩ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে ৪টি প্রকল্পর কাজ চলছে। রত্নেশ্বর ঝীল, বাকলা, শিকিয়াঝোরা এবং হাসিমারা এই প্রকল্পগুলির প্রথম পর্যায়ের কাজ শেষ হয়েছে, দ্বিতীয় পর্যায়ের কাজ চলছে।

শ্রম :

এই জেলায়, SASPFUW প্রকল্পে অদ্যাবধি প্রায় ৭৫ হাজার অসংগঠিত কর্মী নথিভুক্ত হয়েছেন।

BOCWA প্রকল্পে এখনও পর্যন্ত ৪৬ হাজারেরও বেশি নির্মান কর্মী নথিভুক্ত হয়েছেন।

অনুরূপভাবে, WBTWSSS প্রকল্পে ৩ হাজারেরও বেশি পরিবহন কর্মী নথিভুক্ত হয়েছেন।

যুবশ্রী প্রকল্পে প্রায় ১ হাজার জন যুবক-যুবতী উৎসাহ ভাতা পাচ্ছেন।

স্বনির্ভর দল ও স্বনিযুক্তি কর্মসূচী :-

আনন্দধারা প্রকল্পে আড়াই হাজারের বেশি স্বনির্ভর দল গঠিত হয়েছে, আগামী মে মাসের মধ্যে আরও ২ হাজারের বেশি স্বনির্ভর দল গঠিত হতে চলেছে।

বিগত সাড়ে চার বছরে স্বামী বিবেকান্দ স্বনির্ভর কর্মসূচী প্রকল্পে প্রায় ২হাজার উদ্যোগ প্রকল্পের অনুমোদন দেওয়া হয়েছে এবং প্রায় ১৫ কোটি টাকা অনুদান প্রদান করা হয়েছে।

জেলায় আলিপুরদুয়ার-১ ও কালচিনি ব্লকে কর্মতীর্থ নির্মাণের কাজ চলছে।

পুর ও নগরোন্নয়ণ :

নবগঠিত আলিপুরদুয়ার জেলায় মিউনিসিপ্যালিটি ৩০ কোটি টাকারও বেশি পরিকল্পনা খাতে ব্যয় করেছে। শহরাঞ্চলে গরীবদের জন্যে ৪০০ এর বেশি বাসস্থান নির্মিত হয়েছে।

তথ্য ও সংস্কৃতি:

বর্তমানে আলিপুরদুয়ার জেলায় ১২০০ জন লোকশিল্পী রিটেনার ফি ও পেনশন পাচ্ছেন। আরও প্রায় ২৫০ লোকশিল্পী রিটেনার ফি ও পেনশন পেতে চলেছেন।

আবাসন :

আলিপুরদুয়ার জেলায় আর্থিক ভাবে দুর্বল মানুষদের জন্যে গীতাঞ্জলী ও অন্যান্য প্রকল্পে প্রায় ২ হাজার বাসস্থান নির্মিত হচ্ছে, এর মধ্যে প্রায় ১১০০ বাসস্থানের নির্মাণ কাজ ইতিমধ্যেই সমাপ্ত হয়ে গেছে। বাকি বাসস্থান নির্মাণ আগামী মে মাসের মধ্যে সম্পন্ন হবে।

ক্রীড়া ও যুব কল্যাণ :

ক্রীড়ার মান উন্নয়নে জেলায় ৪৭টি ক্লাবকে অর্থ সাহায্য করা হয়েছে।

জেলায় ২৪টি মাল্টি জিম সেন্টার গড়ে তুলতে ৪৮ লক্ষ টাকা প্রদান করা হয়েছে।

As experienced in the rest of West Bengal, there has been unprecedented development in Malda district over the last four-and-a-half years.

For the benefit of people from North Bengal, the Trinamool Congress-led government has established a branch secretariat of the State Government in North Bengal, named ‘Uttarkanya’. Along with other departments, pension, provident fund and group insurance branch offices have started operations here.

 

Health and Family Welfare

  • 4 fair-price medicine shops set up in Manikchak, Chanchal and Silampur Hospitals and in Malda Medical College and Hospital
  • As a result, more than 8 lakh people have benefitted to the tune of Rs 10.56 crore
  • Fair-price diagnostic centre started in Malda Medical College and Hospital
  • Sick newborn care unit (SNCU) started in Malda Medical College and Hospital
  • 18 sick newborn stabilisation units (SNSUs) started in the district
  • Critical care unit (CCU) in Malda Medical College and Hospital
  • High-dependency unit (HDU) has been started in Chanchal subdivisional hospital
  • Mother & Child Care Hub (MCH) being built in Malda Medical College and Hospital

 

Education

  • 2 industrial training institutes (ITIs) established in Kaliachak-III and Chanchal-II blocks
  • SN Bose Government Polytechnic College established in Ratua
  • Rs 20 crore sanctioned for the advancement of Gour Banga University
  • More than 1.26 lakh students given bicycles under the Sabuj Sathi Scheme
  • 56 primary schools and 242 upper primary schools established
  • 3 primary schools upgraded to the upper primary level and 83 secondary schools to higher secondary
  • Mid-day meals being provided in all schools in the district
  • Separate toilets constructed for boys and girls in every school in the district

 

Agriculture, Land Reforms, Fisheries, Animal Resources Development

  • 12,000 landless families given patta under Nijo Griha Nijo Bhumi (NGNB) Scheme
  • Kisan Credit Cards (KCC) distributed to almost 100% of the families dependent on agriculture
  • 5 Krishak Bazaars set up in Chanchal, Bamangola, Old Malda, Kaliachak-III and Habibpur blocks
  • Fruits and vegetables being preserved by applying Fruwash technology
  • Fishery projects worth Rs 35 lakh, benefitting
  • Animal Resources Development Department has distributed 9 lakh ducklings and chickens among numerous self-help groups

 

Panchayat and Rural Development

  • In 100 Days’ Work Scheme, Rs 551 crore spent to create 2.83 crore man-days
  • 272 km of rural roads built
  • State Government has facilitated the building of more than 22,000 houses under Indira Awaas Yojana
  • 1.94 lakh toilets built under Mission Nirmal Bangla

 

Minorities’ Development

  • 7.21 lakh minority students handed out scholarships worth Rs 132 crore
  • Rs 68 crore worth loans provided to minority youths to create opportunities for self-employment
  • Rs 168 crore spent on Multi-Sectoral Development Programme (MSDP) for the development of minorities
  • Karma Tirtha marketing hub built in Ratua-I block which is mostly inhabited by the minorities; two more built in Ratua-II and Englishbazar (Narhatta) blocks

 

Backward Classes and Adivasi Development

  • Almost 63,000 students getting benefit under the Shikshashree Scheme
  • About 2.31 lakh SC/ST/OBC certificates handed over

 

Women and Child Welfare

  • More than 1.88 lakh girl students in the district brought under Kanyashree Scheme

 

Khadya Sathi

  • Food security: Almost 34 lakh people getting foodgrains at Rs 2 per kg
  • 4.28 lakh children aged 0-6 years and 3.67 lakh mothers taken care of by 5,500 anganwadi centres
  • The number of malnourished children has reduced by 40%, and acutely malnourished children, by 69%

 

Industry

  • Phase I and II of Industrial Growth Centre built in Malda
  • 21 micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) clusters set up
  • More than Rs 4,500 crore worth bank loans provided to MSMEs
  • An Information Technology (IT) Park being built in Malda

 

PWD and Transport

  • 131 projects completed by the PWD Department at a cost of Rs 223 crore, benefitting 21 lakh people
  • 303 km of roads built/re-built/widened/improved
  • The projects for the betterment of roads in the district include those for the Paharpur-Swarupganj road, Maltipur-Chandrapara road and Kaliachak-Golapganj road
  • Foodgrains being procured from farmers at a price higher than the minimum support price (MSP)

 

Power

  • Under the Sabar Ghore Alo project, 100% of rural electrification work has been completed

 

Irrigation

  • 207 km of irrigation dam conservation work completed
  • Irrigation projects, including those under the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) and the Accelerated Development of Minor Irrigation (ADMI) projects, have helped to build 560 small irrigation schemes
  • 4,832 hectares of agricultural land have come under irrigation

 

Public Health Engineering

  • 50 water projects worth Rs 123 crore completed, benefitting 4 lakh people

 

Tourism

  • Son-et-lumiere projects at the historical site of Barduari Soudha in Gour block, and at those in Adina and Pandua
  • First phase of the Kendpur-Jagjivanpur road project over

North Bengal Development

  • North Bengal Development Department has given shape to many development projects in the Malda district. These include conservation of the left bank of Fulahar River, construction of asphalt roads from Sonari to Bidyanandapur in Chanchal block and setting up of the Central Bus Terminus in Malda.

 

Refugee Relief And Rehabilitation

  • Refugee Relief and Rehabilitation Department has provided deeds without riders to 125 refugee families in the 49 refugee colonies in Malda district, and to 120 refugee families during 2015-16
  • Various projects for the development of refugee colonies initiated, including those for the construction of roads, drinking water supply systems, sanitation systems, toilets, etc.

 

In the last four-and-a-half years, 93% people from the district have been brought under the ambit of various government schemes. The State Government has been continuously executing development projects for the betterment of the people in Malda district.

 

 

মালদা: জেলার কণে কণে উন্নয়নের ছোঁয়া

 

রাজ্য ও অন্যান্য জেলার সঙ্গে তাল মিলিয়ে বিগত সাড়ে চার বছর সময়কালে অভূতপূর্ব উন্নয়ন ঘটেছে এই মালদা জেলায়। এই জেলায় বিগত সাড়ে চার বছরে ৯৩ শতাংশ মানুষের কাছে বিভিন্ন সরকারী প্রকল্পের সুুবিধা পৌঁছে দেওয়া গেছে।

 

সমগ্র উত্তরবঙ্গের মানুষের সুুবিধার্থে উত্তরবঙ্গে আমরা স্থাপন করেছি রাজ্য সরকারের শাখা সচিবালয় – জ্ঞউত্তরকন্যাঞ্চ। এখানে অন্যান্য বিভাগের সাথে সাথে পেনশন, ভবিষ্যনিধি এবং গ্রুপ ইনস্যুুরেন্স অধিকর্তার একটি শাখা কার্যালয়ও চালু হয়ে গেছে। এর দরুন সমগ্র উত্তরবঙ্গের মানুষজনকে আজ আর সরকারি কাজের জন্য কলকাতায় ছুটে যেতে হয় না। সরকারি কাজ ও পরিষেবা মানুষের কাছে আরও দ্রুততার সাথে পৌছে যাচ্ছে।

 

স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার কল্যান

 

  • স্জেলায় ৪টি ন্যায্য মূল্যের ওষুধের দোকান – মানিকচক, চাঁচল, সিলামপুর ও মালদা মেডিক্যাল কলেজ ও হাসপাতালে চালু হয়ে গেছে।
  • জেলার এই সকল ন্যায্য মূল্যের ওষুধের দোকান থেকে ওষুধ কেনার ফলে ৮ লক্ষাধিক মানুষ ১০ কোটি ৫৬ লক্ষ টাকার ছাড় পেয়েছেন।
  • ১টি ন্যায্য মূল্যের ডায়াগ্নস্টিক কেন্দ্র মালদা মেডিক্যাল কলেজ ও হাসপাতালে চালু হয়ে গেছে।
  • মালদা মেডিক্যাল কলেজ ও হাসপাতালে ১টি জগইঞ চালু হয়ে গেছে। চাঁচল মহকুমা হাসপাতালে১টি জগইঞ গড়ে তোলা হচ্ছে, আগামী মে মাসের মধ্যে কাজ সম্পন্ন হবে।

 

জেলায় মোট ১৮টি জগজঞ চালু হয়ে গেছে।

  • চাঁচলে ১টি নতুন মাল্টি-সুুপার স্পেশালিটি হাসপাতাল মার্চ মাসের মধ্যে চালু হয়ে যাবে।
  • মালদা মেডিক্যাল কলেজ ও হাসপাতালে ১টি ইইঞ চালু হয়ে গেছে।         চাঁচল মহকুমা হাসপাতালে একটি এঈঞ চালু হয়ে গেছে।
  • মালদা মেডিক্যাল কলেজ ও হাসপাতালে ১টি খষঢ়বনক্ষ & ইবভরধ ইতক্ষন এয়থ গড়ে তোলা হচ্ছে ।

 

শিক্ষা

 

  • কালিয়াচক-৩ ও চাঁচল-২ ব্লকে ২টি আইটি আই নির্মাণের কাজ শেষ হয়ে গেছে। পাশাপাশি হরিশচন্দ্রপুর-১ ব্লকে একটি নতুন আইটি আই নির্মাণের কাজ দ্রূতগতিতে চলছে, আগামী মে মাসের মধ্যে কাজ সম্পন্ন হবে।
  • রতুয়াতে এস এন বোস সরকারী পলিটেকনিক চালু হয়ে গেছে। কালিয়াচক-১-এ একটি নতুন পলিটেকনিক নির্মানের কাজ চলছে।
  • গৌড়বঙ্গ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে কভথক্ষতক্ষঁ & ঐশপষক্ষলতঢ়ভষশ জদভনশদন, ককখ ও ঙবঁড়ভষরষফঁ-তে স্নাতকোত্তর স্তরে পাঠক্রম চালু হয়েছে।গৌড়বঙ্গ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সার্বিক উন্নয়নের জন্য উচ্চ শিক্ষা দপ্তর ২০ কোটি টাকা অনুমোদন করেছে।
  • গৌড়বঙ্গ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের পন্ডিত বিধুশেখর শাস্ত্রী কেন্দ্রীয় গ্রন্থাগার এবং আচার্য্য বিনয় কুমার সরকার কলা ভবনের উদ্বোধন করা হয়েছে।
  • এই জেলায় ১ লক্ষ ২৬ হাজারের ও বেশি ছাত্র-ছাত্রীকে সবুজসাথী প্রকল্পে সাইকেল প্রদান করা হচ্ছে।
  • ওল্ড মালদা, মানিকচক ও কালিয়াচক -৩ ব্লকে নতুন মডেল স্কুল নির্মানের কাজ শেষ হয়েছে।হরিশচন্দ্রপুর-১ ও রতুয়া -১ ব্লকে কাজ চলছে।
  • বিগত সাড়ে ৪ বছরে জেলায় নতুন ৫৬টি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় ও ২৪২টি উচ্চ প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
  • পাশাপাশি ৩টি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়কে উচ্চ প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় স্তরে এবং ৮৩টি মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়কে উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয় স্তরে উন্নীত করা হয়েছে।
  • সব স্কুলে মিড-ডে-মিল চলছে যার ফলে পুষ্টি এবং উপস্থিতির হার বেড়েছে এবং স্কুল ছুট ছাত্রের সংখ্যা কমেছে।
  • প্রতিটি বিদ্যালয়ে ছেলে ও মেয়েদের জন্যে পৃথক শৌচাগার নির্মিত হয়েছে।

 

ভূমি সংস্কার, কৃষি, খাদ্য প্রক্রিয়াকরণ ও উদ্যানপালন, মৎস্য ও পশুপালন

 

  • জেলার প্রায় ১২ হাজার ভূমিহীন পরিবারের হাতে জ্ঞনিজ গৃহ নিজ ভূমিঞ্চ প্রকল্পে প্রায় ৩৮২ একর খাস জমির পা-া তুলে দেওয়া হয়েছে। বাকিদেরও খুব শীঘ্রই পা-া প্রদান করা হবে।
  • অনুরূপভাবে এই জেলার ১০০% কৃষিজিবী পরিবারের হাতে ঔইই তুলে দেওয়া হয়েছে।
  • জেলার চাঁচল, বামনগোলা, ওল্ড মালদা, কালিয়াচক-৩ ও হবিবপুরে ৫টি কিষান মান্ডি চালু হয়ে গেছে।
  • এর পাশাপাশি গাজোল, হরিশ্চন্দ্রপুর-১ ও কালিয়াচক-১ ব্লকে আরও ৩টি কিষান মান্ডি গড়ে তোলা হচ্ছে।
  • মালদায় সেন্ট্রাল ইন্সটিটিউট্‌ ফর সাবট্রপিকাল হর্টিকালচার (ই.ঐ.জ.এ.), লখনৌ – এর আঞ্চলিক গবেষনা কেন্দ্র (ছনফভষশতর ছনড়নতক্ষদব জঢ়তঢ়ভষশ) স্থাপনের উদ্দেশ্যে ইংরেজবাজারের মাধবনগরে মোট ৭০.০৪ একর জমি বিগত অক্টোবর মাসে হস্তান্তর করা হয়েছে। এই গবেষনা কেন্দ্রে বিভিন্ন গ্রীষমমন্ডলীয় বা সাবট্রপিকাল ফল, ফুল, সবজি ইত্যাদি চাষের উন্নতির লক্ষ্যে গবেষনা করা হবে।
  • প্রতিবেশী বাংলাদেশের সাথে বানিজ্যের ক্ষেত্রে স্থানীয় রপ্তানীকারকদের সুুবিধার্থে মালদার মহদিপুরে বিভিন্ন পচনশীল উদ্যানজাত ফসল সংরক্ষনের জন্য ৫০০ মেট্রিক টন আয়তনের একটি কার্গো সেন্টার স্থাপনের প্রকল্প গ্রহন করা হয়েছে।
  • আম চাষের ক্ষেত্রে উদ্যানপালন প্রযুক্তির সঠিক প্রয়োগের মাধ্যমে মালদা জেলায় আমের ফলন বিগত বছরে ৩ লক্ষ ৭৫ হাজার মেট্রিক টনে পৌঁছেছে। রাজ্যের বাইরে মালদার আমের বিপনন বৃদ্ধির লক্ষ্যে এই বছর দিল্লীতে আম উৎসব, কোলকাতার শহীদ মিনারে এবং মিলনমেলায়, মালদার বারোদুয়ারী, গৌড়ে অনুষ্ঠিত রামকেলি উৎসবে আম প্রদর্শনী ও বিক্রয়, আম প্রদর্শনী ও বিক্রয়, মালদা টাউন রেল স্টেশনে আম বিক্রির স্টল স্থাপন ইত্যাদি উদ্যোগ গ্রহন করা হয়েছে।
  • মালদা জেলার হবিবপুর ও বামনগোলা ব্লকের শুষ্ক এলাকায় সাফল্যের সাথে আনারস চাষের এলাকা সম্প্রসারন করা হয়েছে এবং পরীক্ষামূলক ভাবে আঙ্গুর চাষের প্রকল্প গ্রহন করা হয়েছে।
  • ফ্রু-ওয়াশ প্রয়ুক্তির (ঊক্ষয়ংতড়ব ঝনদবশষরষফঁ) প্রয়োগের মাধ্যমে ফল ও সবজির সংরক্ষন করার উদ্যোগ গ্রহন করা হয়েছে।
  • ইংরেজবাজারের গৌড় রোডে উদ্যানপালন প্রযুক্তি সম্প্রসারন কেন্দ্র নির্মানের কাজ সমাপ্তহয়েছে। এই কেন্দ্র থেকে জেলার কৃষক সম্প্রদায় আধুনিক উদ্যানপালন প্রযুক্তি গ্রহন করতে পারবেন।
  • জেলায় প্রায় ৩৫ লক্ষ টাকা ব্যয়ে মাছের চারা উৎপাদন ও মাছ চাষের একটি প্রকল্প হাতে নেওয়ার ফলে প্রচুর মৎস্যজীবি এবং তাঁদের পরিবার উপকৃত হয়েছেন।
  • জেলায় প্রাণী সম্পদ উন্নয়ণ দপ্তর বিগত সাড়ে চার বছরে ৯ লক্ষ হাঁস ও মুরগীর বাচ্চা, বিভিন্ন স্বনির্ভর দলের মধ্যে বিতরণ করেছে।
  • পাশাপাশি বেকার যুবক, যুবতীদের কর্ম সংস্থানের লক্ষে ৬০টি আনশফতর ঈভতক্ষঁ ঔভষড়য জেলায় জেলায় গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।

 

পঞ্চায়েত ও গ্রামোন্নয়ন

 

  • ১০০ দিনের কাজে প্রায় ৫৫১ কোটি টাকা ব্যয় করে ২ কোটি ৮৩ লক্ষ শ্রম দিবস সৃষ্টি হয়েছে। ২০১৬ সালের মে মাসের মেধ্েয বিভিন্ন চালু প্রকল্প রূপায়ণের মাধ্যমে আরো অতিরিক্ত ২০৩ কোটি টাকা খরচ হবে।
  • গ্রামীণ সড়ক যোজনায় ২৭২ কি. মি. রাস্তা নির্মিত হয়ে গেছে। আরো ১৭২ কি.মি. রাস্তা আগামী মে মাসের মধ্যে শেষ হয়ে যাবে।
  • গত সাড়ে ৪ বছরে জেলায় ২২ হাজারের বেশি ইন্দিরা আবাসন ঘর করা হয়েছে। আগামী মে মাসের মধ্যে আরো ১৭ হাজার ঘর নির্মিত হয়ে যাবে।
  • জেলায় মিশন নির্মল বাংলা প্রকল্পে প্রায় ১ লক্ষ ৯৪ হাজার শৌচালয় নির্মাণ সম্পূর্ণ হয়েছে।

 

সংখ্যালঘু উন্নয়ন

 

  • বিগত সাড়ে ৪ বছরে, ৭ লক্ষ ২১ হাজার সংখ্যালঘু ছাত্র-ছাত্রীকে প্রায় ১৩২ কোটি টাকা স্কলারশিপ প্রদান করা হয়েছে। আরো ২ লক্ষ ৪৪ হাজার ছাত্রছাত্রী আগামী মে মাসের মধ্যে স্কলারশিপ পেতে চলেছে।
  • এছাড়া স্বনির্ভরতার জন্য সংখ্যালঘু যুবক-যুবতীদের ৬৮ কোটি টাকা ঋণ প্রদান করা হয়েছে। আরো ৯ কোটি টাকা ঋণ প্রদান করা হবে আগামী মে মাসের মধ্যে।
  • খজঈঙ- তে প্রায় ১৬৮ কোটি টাকা ব্যয় করে সংখ্যালঘু সম্প্রদায়ের উন্নয়নে বিবিধ প্রকল্প রূপায়িত করা হয়েছে।
  • সংখ্যালঘু উন্নয়ন প্রকল্পে ১টি আই.টি.আই, ১২৬টি হেলথ সাব-সেন্টার, ৪টি ছাত্রাবাস, ৫টি ছাত্রীনিবাস, ৬৪৮টি অতিরিক্ত শ্রেণী কক্ষ, ৮৪৫টি অঙ্গনওযাড়ী কেন্দ্র ও ২৭৯৬টি বাসগৃহ গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
  • সংখ্যালঘু অধ্যুষিত রতুয়া-১ ব্লকে একটি কর্মতীর্থ – মার্কেটিং হাব – গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে। রতুয়া-২ ও ইংরেজ বাজার (নরহ-া) ব্লকে আরও ২টি কর্মতীর্থ-গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে। এর পাশাপাশি গাজোল, হরিশ্চন্দ্রপুর-২, চাঁচল-২, মানিকচক, ইংরেজ বাজার (অভিরামপুর), এবং ওল্ড মালদা ব্লকে আরও ৫টি কর্মতীর্থ গড়ে তোলা হচ্ছে।

 

অনগ্রসর কল্যাণ ও আদিবাসী উন্নয়ণ

 

  • প্রায় ৬৩ হাজার ছাত্র-ছাত্রী জ্ঞশিক্ষাশ্রীঞ্চ প্রকল্পে সহায়তা পাচ্ছে। আরো ৩৭ হাজার ছাত্র-ছাত্রী আগামী মে মাসের মধ্যে প্রকল্পের আওতাভূক্ত হতে চলেছে।
  • বিগত সাড়ে ৪ বছরে প্রায় ২ লক্ষ ৩১ হাজার জই/জঝ/ঘআই ইনক্ষঢ়ভপভদতঢ়ন প্রদান করা হয়েছে।

 

নারী ও শিশু উন্নয়ন

 

  • মালদা জেলায় ১ লক্ষ ৮৮ হাজারের ও বেশি ছাত্রী কন্যাশ্রীর আওতাভূক্ত হয়েছে।
  • জেলায় সাড়ে ৫ হাজার অঙ্গনওয়াড়ী কেন্দ্র গুলি থেকে বিগত সাড়ে চার বছরে মোট (০-৬) বছরের ৪ লক্ষ ২৮ হাজার শিশু ও ৩ লক্ষ ৬৭ হাজার মা পরিষেবা পেয়েছে।
  • জেলায় সম্প্রতি ৪০% অপুষ্ট শিশুর সংখ্যা ও ৬৯% অতি অপুষ্ট শিশুর সংখ্যা হ্র্রাস পেয়েছে।

 

খাদ্য সুুরক্ষা কর্মসূচী- খাদ্য সাথী প্রকল্প

 

  • আমরা রাজ্যের মানুষের জন্যে খাদ্যের যোগান সুুনিশ্চিত করেছি। রাজ্যের ৮ কোটিরও বেশি মানুষ ২ টাকা কেজি দরে খাদ্যশস্য পাচ্ছেন। এবং আরও ৫০ লক্ষ মানুষ বাজার দরের অর্দ্ধেক দামে খাদ্যশস্য পাচ্ছেন।
  • জেলায় প্রায় ৩৪ লক্ষ মানুষ ২/- টাকা কেজি দরে খাদ্যশস্য পাচ্ছেন।
  • খাদ্য শস্যের যোগান সুুনিশ্চিত করতে আমরা কৃষকদের থেকে খভশভলয়ল জয়সসষক্ষঢ় ঙক্ষভদন (খজঙ) এর চেয়ে বেশি দামে খাদ্য শস্য ক্রয় করছি। এতে আমাদের কৃষকরাও বিশেষভাবে উপকৃত হচ্ছেন,তাঁরা ফসলের উপযুক্ত দাম পাচ্ছেন। রাজ্যের ব্লকে ব্লকে কৃষকদের থেকে ধান্য ক্রয় কেন্দ্রের মাধ্যমে সরাসরি ধান কেনা ও চেকের মাধ্যমে দাম মেটানোর কাজ চলছে।

 

শিল্প

 

  • মালদায় ঐশধয়ড়ঢ়ক্ষভতর ঋক্ষষংঢ়ব ইনশঢ়ক্ষন – ঙবতড়ন ঐ, ঙবতড়ন ঐঐ, মোট ২৫০ একর জমির উপর গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে। প্রায় ৫০০ কোটি টাকার বিনিয়োগ হতে চলেছে।
  • জেলায় ক্ষুদ্র, ছোট ও মাঝারি উদ্যোগের ২১টি ক্লাস্টার গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে। এর ফলে প্রচুর মানুষের কর্মসংস্থান সুুনিশ্চিত করা গেছে।
  • ক্ষুদ্র শিল্পের ক্ষেত্রে বিগত সাড়ে চার বছরে এই জেলায় সাড়ে ৪ হাজার কোটি টাকার বেশি ব্যাঙ্ক ঋণ প্রদান করা হয়েছে, আগামী বছর মে মাসের মধ্যে আরো অতিরিক্ত ৩৫০ কোটি ব্যাঙ্ক ঋণ দেওয়া হবে।
  • মালদায়১টি আই.টি পার্ক গড়ে তোলা হচ্ছে।

 

পূর্ত ও পরিবহন

 

  • বিগত সাড়ে চার বছরে এই জেলায় পূর্ত দপ্তর ১৭৭টি প্রকল্প রূপায়ণের কাজ হাতে নিয়েছে, যার মধ্যে ১৩১টি প্রকল্পের কাজ প্রায় ২২৩ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে ইতিমধ্যেই সমাপ্ত হয়েছে। এর ফলে প্রায় ২১ লক্ষ মানুষ উপকৃত হচ্ছেন। বাকি ২৫টি প্রকল্পের কাজ আগামী মে মাসের মধ্যে সমাপ্ত হবে।
  • জেলার সড়ক ব্যবস্থা উন্নয়নে বিশেষ গুরুত্ব দেওয়া হচ্ছে। জেলায় বিগত সাড়ে চার বছরে ৩০৩ কিমি রাস্তা নির্মাণ /পুর্ননির্মাণ/ সম্প্রসারণ ও উন্নীতকরণের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।
  • এর মধ্যে উল্লেখযোগ্য হল পাহাড়পুর – স্বরূপগঞ্জ রাস্তা, মালতিপুর – চন্দ্রপাড়া রাস্তা, কালিয়াচক – গোলাপগঞ্জ রাস্তা প্রভৃতি।
  • ফুলহার নদীর উপর শঙ্করীতলা ঘাটে ভুতনিচর সংযোগকারী ব্রিজ নির্মাণের কাজ চলছে।

 

বিদ্যুৎ ও অচিরাচরিত শক্তি

 

  • সমগ্র মালদা জেলায় জ্ঞসবার ঘরে আলোঞ্চ প্রকল্পে ১০০% গ্রামীণ বৈদ্যুতিকরণের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।

 

সেচ

 

  • ২০৭ কিমি দৈর্ঘ্যের বাঁধ সংরক্ষণের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।
  • মালদা জেলায় বিগত সাড়ে চার বছরে বিভিন্ন প্রকল্পের যথা আর-আই-ডি-এফ প্রকল্প, আদমি প্রকল্প এবং অন্যান্য প্রকল্পের মাধ্যমে ৫৬০টি ক্ষুদ্র সেচ স্কীম সম্পাদিত হয়েছে।
  • বর্তমানে মালদহ জেলার সেচ সেবিত এলাকার পরিমান ১.৫২ লক্ষ হেক্টর। গত সাড়ে চার বছরে ৪৮৩২ হেক্টর কৃষি জমি সেচ সেবিত এলাকার আওতাভুক্ত হয়েছে এবং উপভোক্তা কমিটিকে হস্তান্তর করা হয়েছে।

 

জনস্বাস্থ্য কারিগরী

 

  • বিগত সাড়ে চার বছরে ৯০টি জলপ্রকল্পের কাজ শুরু হয়েছে, এর মধ্যে ১২৩ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে ৫০টির কাজ সমাপ্ত হয়েছে। এর ফলে জেলার প্রায় ৪ লক্ষ মানুষ উপকৃত হচ্ছেন। আরো ১৮টি জলপ্রকল্পের কাজ আগামী মে মাসের মধ্যে সমাপ্ত হবে।

 

পর্যটন

 

  • আদিনা এবং পান্ডুয়ার ঐতিহাসিক স্থানে ধ্বনি ও আলোক সজ্জার কাজ চলছে।

  • জগজীবনপুর বৌদ্ধবিহারের পুরাতাত্বিক নিদর্শন মিউজিয়ামের জন্য ২ কোটি ১৫ লক্ষ টাকার কাজ শুরু হতে চলেছে, এই প্রকল্পের রূপায়ণ মালদা জেলার পর্যটনের বিকাশ তথা পুরাতাত্বিক গুরুত্ব বর্ধনের সাহায্য করবে।
  • ইংরেজবাজার ব্লকের গৌড়ে বারদুয়ারী সৌধে ধ্বনি ও আলোক সজ্জা প্রকল্পের কাজ সম্পূর্ন হয়েছে।

  • জঅজঙঊঞঠ (জঢ়তঢ়ন-অড়ড়ভড়ঢ়নধ জদবনলন ষপ ঙক্ষষৎভধনশঢ় ঊয়শধ পষক্ষ ঞশষক্ষফতশভড়নধ ঠষক্ষযনক্ষড়) প্রকল্পে অদ্যাবধি প্রায় ৩ লক্ষ ১৩ হাজার অসংগঠিত কর্মী নথিভুক্ত হয়েছেন।
  • আঘইঠঅ প্রকল্পে এখনও পর্যন্ত প্রায় ২ লক্ষ ১৭ হাজার নির্মান কর্মী নথিভুক্ত হয়েছেন।
  • অনুরূপভাবে, ঠআঝঠজজজ (ঠনড়ঢ় আনশফতর ঝক্ষতশড়সষক্ষঢ় ঠষক্ষযনক্ষড়ঞ্চ জষদভতর জনদয়ক্ষভঢ়ঁ জদবনলন) প্রকল্পে ২২ হাজারের ও বেশি পরিবহন কর্মী নথিভুক্ত হয়েছেন।
  • জ্ঞযুবশ্রীঞ্চ প্রকল্পে সাড়ে ৪ হাজার যুবক-যুবতী উৎসাহ ভাতা পাচ্ছেন।

 

স্বনির্ভর দল ও স্বনিযুক্তি কর্মসূচী

 

  • আনন্দধারা প্রকল্পে আড়াই হাজারের বেশি স্বনির্ভর দল গঠিত হয়েছে, আগামী মে মাসের মধ্যে আরো ৩ হাজারের বেশি স্বনির্ভর দল গঠিত হতে চলেছে।
  • মালদা জেলার বামনগোলা ব্লকে ৫০টি পরিবারকে ক্ষুদ্র মুরগী খামার ব্যবস্থার মাধ্যমে জীবন-জীবিকার ব্যবস্থা করা হয়েছে এবং চাঁচল-১ ও চাঁচল-২ ব্লকের ২০০টি পরিবারের জন্য একই ব্যবস্থা করা হচ্ছে।
  • বিগত সাড়ে চার বছরে স্বামী বিবেকান্দ স্বনির্ভর কর্মসূচী প্রকল্পে ৬ হাজারের ও বেশি প্রকল্পের অনুমোদন দেওয়া হয়েছে এবং প্রায় ৩৪ কোটি টাকা অনুদান প্রদান করা হয়েছে।
  • জেলায় বিভিন্ন দপ্তরের মোট ১৯টি কর্মতীর্থ নির্মাণের কাজ শুরু হয়েছিল, যার মধ্যে ইতিমধ্যেই ৫টির কাজ সমাপ্ত হয়েছে, বাকী গুলির কাজ চলছে।

 

 

পুর ও নগরোন্নয়ণ

 

  • মালদা জেলায় ২টি মিউনিসিপ্যালিটি বিগত সাড়ে চার বছরে প্রায় ৩০০ কোটি টাকার ও বেশি পরিকল্পনা খাতে ব্যয় করেছে। শহরাঞ্চলে গরীবদের জন্যে প্রায় ১৪০০ বাসস্থান নির্মিত হয়েছে।

  • বর্তমানে মালদা জেলায় প্রায় হাজার লোকশিল্পী রিটেনার ফি ও পেনশন পাচ্ছেন। আরো ২০০ লোকশিল্পী রিটেনার ফি ও পেনশন পেতে চলেছেন।

 

আবাসন

 

  • মালদা জেলায় আর্থিক ভাবে দুর্বল মানুষদের জন্যে গীতাঞ্জলী ও অন্যান্য প্রকল্পে ১১ হাজারের বেশি বাসস্থান নির্মিত হচ্ছে, এর মধ্যে প্রায় ৭ হাজার বাসস্থানের নির্মাণ কাজ ইতিমধ্যেই সমাপ্ত হয়ে গেছে। বাকী বাসস্থান নির্মাণ আগামী মে মাসের মধ্যে সম্পন্ন হবে।

 

ক্রীড়া ও যুব কল্যাণ

 

  • ক্রীড়ার মান উন্নয়নে মালদা জেলায় মোট ১১৭টি ক্লাবকে অর্থ সাহায্য করা হয়েছে।
  • জেলায় ৬টি মাল্টি জিম সেন্টার গড়ে তুলতে ১২ লক্ষ টাকা প্রদান করা হয়েছে।
  • মালদা ঈজঅ স্টেডিয়াম ও বৃন্দাবনী ময়দান সংস্কারের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে। ইংরেজবাজারে সত্য চৌধুরী ইন্ডোর স্টেডিয়াম সংস্কারের কাজ শেষের পথে।

  • মালদা জেলায় নতুন থানা হিসাবে ইংরেজবাজার মহিলা থানা ও পুকুরিয়া থানা গঠন করা হয়েছে।

 

উত্তরবঙ্গ উন্নয়ন

 

  • মালদা জেলায় উত্তরবঙ্গ উন্নয়ন দপ্তর ফুলাহার নদীর বাম পার্শ্বের বাধের রক্ষনাবেক্ষন, চাচল ব্লকের সোনারী হইতে বিদ্যানন্দপুর পর্যন্ত পিচের রাস্তা নির্মান, মালদায় সেণ্ট্রাল বাস টার্মিনাস নির্মান প্রভৃতি কাজ সম্পন্ন করেছে।

 

উদ্বাস্তু ত্রাণ ও পুনর্বাসন

 

  • মালদা জেলায় ৪৯টি উদ্বাস্তু কলোনি রয়েছে। উদ্বাস্তু ত্রাণ ও পুনর্বাসন  দপ্তর স্থাপন কাল থেকে ২০১৫ সাল পর্যন্ত ৫৭১৭টি উদ্বাস্তু পরিবারকে নিঃশর্ত দলিল প্রদান করেছে, যার মধ্যে ২০১১-১৫ সালে ১২৫টি উদ্বাস্তু পরিবারকে নিঃশর্ত দলিল প্রদান করা হয়েছে।

 

 

২০১৫-১৬ সালে ১২০টি উদ্বাস্তু পরিবারকে নিঃশর্ত দলিল প্রদানের ব্যবস্থা করা হয়েছে। উদ্বাস্তু কলোনির পরিকাঠামোর উন্নয়নও করা হয়েছে,  যার মধ্যে রাস্তা নির্মাণ, পানীয় জল সরবরাহ, পয়ঃপ্রণালীর ব্যবস্থা, শৌচাগার নির্মাণ প্রভৃতি উল্লেখযোগ্য।

The Trinamool Congress Government’s focus on the promotion of education has manifested in the holistic growth of the sector.

The following are some of the achievements under Higher Education:

More universities and colleges: The number of universities increased from 15 during 2007-2011 to 28 during 2011-2015. The State’s first Hindi-medium General degree college was started in Jalpaiguri in August 2014. Forty-six colleges have been set up in the State. The number of degree colleges increased from 485 during 2007-2011 to 530 during 2011-2015.

Santhali for SET: For the first time, Santhali was introduced as a subject in the State Eligibility Test, thereby opening up avenues for the recruitment of assistant professors in Santhali in different colleges of the State.

Reservation: The State Government enacted legislation to provide 17% reservation for OBC students without reducing the total number of seats available for the general category students. In 2014-15, the very first year of implementation, a total of 59,612 OBC students were admitted. The State has made an additional provision of Rs 1,000 crore to implement this.

New teaching posts: 1,545 teaching posts and 1,022 non-teaching posts were created in the State-aided universities, government colleges and government-aided colleges. Candidates were selected to fill up 126 vacant posts of principals and 2,883 posts of assistant professor in government-aided colleges.

Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means Scholarship Scheme: Under the Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means Scholarship Scheme, which provides financial assistance to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections of society, scholarships amounting to Rs 170 crore were granted to 1.78 lakh students.

The amount of Plan Expenditure out of State Budget has increased from Rs 374.27 crore during 2007-2011 to Rs 885.77 crore during 2011-2015. For 2016-17, Rs 456 crore has been allocated for the department.

We have always been very restrained when it comes to criticising you. We have strived to maintain decency and decorum and never attacked you personally, despite political differences and vitriolic and hostile words used against the Trinamool Congress and Mamata Banerjee by your Congress underlings.

But now, after listening to what you said in your #BengalPolls campaign meeting, you have tested the limits of our politeness. And compelled us to react. How could you – how dare you, we would say – compare Mamata Banerjee to Narendra Modi? How could you even concoct something as devious and ridiculous as that? This is sad and unfortunate, it is also petty and speaks for political desperation. The lengths people stoop to, to try and score cheap points in election season …

We know why you said what you did today. The circle is now complete: Sonia and Modi are on the same side. Mamata Banerjee is on the other side. In Bengal your party is a facsimile of the Communists. In Delhi, you play along with the BJP government. No wonder the National Herald case is “under control”. No wonder the promised investigations against UPA ministers and your associates have not materialised. The Sonia-Modi arrangement is so neat, it has reduced national politics to a protection racket.

And in Kolkata, the pot calls the kettle black …

আমরা যখনই আপনার সমালোচনা করেছি, বরাবরই খুবই সংযত থেকেছি আমরা। কংগ্রেস-এর কিছু নেতাদের তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস এবং মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়-কে প্রবলভাবে আক্রমণ করা সত্ত্বেও আমরা কিন্তু কখনই আমাদের শালীনতার মাত্রা ছাড়িয়ে আপনাকে ব্যক্তিগতভাবে আক্রমণ করিনি।

কিন্তু আজ বাংলায় নির্বাচনী জনসভায় এসে আপনি যা বলেছেন, তা শুনে আমাদের মনে হয়েছে যে আমাদের ধৈর্যের সব সীমা অতিক্রম করেছেন আপনি। বাধ্য করেছেন আমাদের প্রতিক্রিয়া ব্যাক্ত করতে। কি করে পারলেন – বরং কোন সাহসে পারলেন আপনি মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের তুলনা করতে নরেন্দ্র মোদীর সঙ্গে? কি করে পারলেন এরকম হাস্যকর কিছু ভাবতে? গোটা ব্যাপারটা খুবই দুঃখজনক। বোঝাই যাচ্ছে যে রাজনৈতিক দিক দিয়ে বেপরয়া হয়ে এমন বলেছেন আপনি। তাই বলে ভোটের মরশুমে এত নীচে নামা…

আমরা জানি আজ আপনি যা বলেছেন, ঠিক কেন বলেছেন। বৃত্তটি এত দিনে সম্পূর্ণ হল – বোঝাই যাচ্ছে সোনিয়া এবং মোদী রয়েছেন একই দিকে এবং মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় রয়েছেন অন্য দিকে। বাংলায় আপনার দল তো মার্কসবাদীদের সঙ্গে পুরোপুরি সমার্থক হয়ে উঠেছে। আর দিল্লিতে আপনারা বিজেপি সরকারের সঙ্গে হাত মিলিয়েছেন। তাই বোধয় ন্যাশনাল হেরাল্ড কেসে এখন “সব ঠিকঠাক”। ইউপিএ সরকারের কিছু মন্ত্রীদের বিরুদ্ধেও তো কোন ব্যবস্থা নেওয়া হল না। এই সোনিয়া-মোদী পরিপাটি ব্যবস্থা জাতীয় রাজনীতিকে শুধু একটা পরিহাসে রূপান্তরিত করেছে।

In the last four-and-a-half years, the Trinamool Congress Government has brought about a huge surge of development in West Bengal, and Murshidabad has reaped its benefits as well. Almost 8.5 crore people inthe district now have access to some government service. The people’s expectations have been fulfilled to a large extent.

 

Health and Family Welfare

  • Five fair-price medicine shops set up in Murshidabad Medical College and Hospital, and Lalbag, Jangipur, Kandi and Domkol Sub-Divisional Hospitals.
  • One fair-price diagnostic centre set up in Murshidabad Medical College and Hospital
  • Four sick newborn care units (SNCUs) set up – in Murshidabad Medical College and Hospital, Baharampur Matri Sadan, and Jangipur and Kandi Sub-Divisional Hospitals.
  • 25 sick newborn sensitisation units (SNSU) set up

 

Education

  • Three industrial technical institutes (ITIs) have come up in Raninagar-1, Raghunathganj-1 and Shamsherganj blocks.
  • Polytechnic college has started operations in Jangipur.
  • Constructions of model schools completed in Khargram, Shamsherganj, Raghunathganj-2, Suti-1, Suti-2, Bharatpur-2 and Kandi blocks.
  • Bicycles under the Sabuj Sathi Scheme distributed to 1.87 lakh school children

 

Agriculture, Land Reforms

  • Kisan Credit Crads distributed to 7.22 lakh farmer families, which represents 100% of all families involved in farming.
  • Krishak Bazaars set up in 21 places in the district.

 

Panchayat and Rural Development

  • 100 Days’ Work Scheme: Rs 926 crore spent to create 8.28 lakh work-days
  • The State Government has facilitated the construction of 775 km of roads as part of the Grameen Sadak Yojana

 

Minority Development

  • About 11.2 lakh students given scholarships worth Rs 224 crore
  • Rs 131 crore given to unemployed youth from minority communities to encourage them to create self-employment opportunities

 

Backward Classes and Adivasi Development

  • Under the Shikshashree Scheme, more than 46,000 students from the backward classes getting scholarships

 

Women and Child Development

  • 2.85 lakh girl students covered under the Kanyashree Scheme till now

 

Khadya Suraksha and Khadya Sathi

  • More than 56 lakh people in Murshidabad district getting foodgrains at Rs 2 per kg

 

Industry

  • Eighteen MSME (micro, small and medium enterprises) clusters set up, as a result of which about 5 lakh people are now employed
  • Two industrial estates established in Baharampur and Rejinagar

 

PWD and Transport

  • 204 projects completed, by spending Rs 600 crore, as a result of which 30 lakh people have benefitted
  • 656 km of roads built/renovated/rebuilt/widened

 

Power

  • WBPDCL’s first 500 MW thermal power plant has started production in Sagardighi

 

Irrigation

  • 150 km of irrigation dam conservation completed
  • Kandi Masterplan: This major irrigation project is worth Rs 439 crore. 1740 km of dam strengthening work, to prevent flooding, has been completed. The rest 4700 km is going to be completed soon.

 

Public Health Engineering

  • 73 drinking water projects have been completed in the district, benefitting about 18.5 lakh people.

 

Tourism

  • Motijheel Tourism Destination: This major tourism project of the State Government has put Motijheel, and in turn, the entire district on the tourist map of the country. A large number of infrastructural developments related to tourism have taken place in Motijheel and its surrounding areas. The area has been designated as a ‘Prakriti Tirtha.’

 

Labour

  • Social security schemes: 3.71 lakh people have been covered under State-Assisted Schemes of Provident Fund for Unorganised Workers (SASPFUW), 2 lakh under Building and Other Construction Workers Act (BOCWA) scheme and 22,000 under West Bengal Transport Workers’ Social Security Scheme (WBTWSSS).

 

Self-Help Groups

  • 6,300 self-help groups (SHGs) have been formed under the Anandadhara Scheme.

 

Urban Development

  • The civic governing body of Domkol has been made into a municipality, thus giving it greater resources to develop the town.

 

Information and Culture

  • About 3,500 folk artistes in the district of Murshidabad are getting retainer fees and pension to aid in their well-being and development.

 

Housing

  • 8,500 houses have been built for the homeless under Gitanjali and other government schemes in the district.

 

Youth Affairs and Sports

  • Baharampur Stadium has been renovated at a cost of Rs 2 crore

 

Home Affairs

  • Baharampur Women Police Station and Shantipur Police Stattion have been set up to improve the security for the people.

 

The district of Murshidabad has benefitted immensely from the Trinamool Congress-led government. It is doing well in most aspects of governance now.

 

মুর্শিদাবাদ জেলায় উন্নয়নের জোয়ার

তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস পরিচালিত সরকারের আমলে বিগত সাড়ে চার বছরে অভূতপূর্ব উন্নয়ন ঘটেছে মুর্শিদাবাদ জেলায়। এই জেলায় বিগত সাড়ে চার বছরে ৮০ শতাংশের বেশি মানুষের কাছে বিভিন্ন সরকারি প্রকল্পের সুবিধা পৌঁছে গেছে।

 

স্বাস্থ্য

  • ৫টি ন্যায্য মূল্যের ওষুধের দোকান – মুর্শিদাবাদ মেডিকেল কলেজ ও হাসপাতাল, লালবাগ, জঙ্গিপুর, কান্দি ও ডোমকল মহকুমা হাসপাতালে চালু হয়ে গেছে।
  • জেলার এই সকল ন্যায্য মূল্যের ওষুধের দোকান থেকে ওষুধ কেনার ফলে ৩ লক্ষেরও বেশি মানুষ ৯ কোটি টাকা ছাড় পেয়েছেন।
  • ১টি ন্যায্য মূল্যের ডায়াগনস্টিক কেন্দ্র মুর্শিদাবাদ মেডিক্যাল কলেজ ও হাসপাতালে চালু হয়ে গেছে।
  • এই জেলায় ৪টি SNCU এবং ২৫টি SNSU  চালু হয়ে গেছে।
  • ১টি CCU এবং ২টি HDU চালু হয়ে গেছে।
  • সাগরদীঘি ব্লকে একটি মাল্টি সুপার স্পেশালিটি হসপিটাল নির্মিত হয়েছে। জঙ্গিপুর ও ডোমকলে মাল্টি সুপার স্পেশালিটি হসপিটাল নির্মাণের কাজ সমাপ্ত হয়েছে।

 

শিক্ষা

  • ৫টি আইটিআই তৈরি হচ্ছে, জঙ্গীপুরে পলিটেকনিক কলেজ চালু হয়েছে। ৪টি মডেল স্কুল, চালুহয়েছে।
  • বিগত সাড়ে চার বছরে ২৮টি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় ও ৫২৯টি উচ্চ প্রাথমিক বিধ্যালয় গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
  • সব স্কুলে মিড ডে মিল চালু হয়ে গেছে।
  • প্রতিটি বিদ্যালয়ে ছেলে ও মেয়েদের জন্য পৃথক শৌচাগার নির্মিত হয়েছে।

 

কৃষি ও ভূমি সংস্কার

  • প্রায় ৭ লক্ষ ২২ হাজার কৃষিজীবী পরিবারকে কিষাণ ক্রেডিট কার্ড দেওয়া হয়েছে।
  • জেলায় ২১টি কিষাণ মাণ্ডি তৈরি হয়েছে, এর মধ্যে ১৮টি চালু হয়ে গেছে।
  • ৮ হাজারেরও বেশি ভূমিহীনকে পাট্টা প্রদান করা হয়েছে।

 

পঞ্চায়েত ও গ্রামোন্নয়ন

  • বিগত সাড়ে চার বছরে ১০০ দিনের কাজে ৯২৬ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে ৪ কোটি ২৮ লক্ষ শ্রম দিবস সৃষ্টি হয়েছে।
  • গ্রামীণ সড়ক যোজনায় ৭৭৫ কিমি রাস্তা নির্মিত হয়ে গেছে।
  • গত সাড়ে চার বছরে প্রায় ৫১ হাজার ইন্দিরা আবাস ঘর করা হয়েছে।
  • জেলায় নির্মল বাংলা মিশন প্রকল্পে বিগত সাড়ে চার বছরে প্রায় ২ লক্ষ শৌচাগার নির্মিত হয়েছে।

 

সংখ্যালঘু উন্নয়ন

  • বিগত সাড়ে চার বছরে ১১ লক্ষ ২০ হাজারের বেশি সংখ্যালঘু ছাত্র-ছাত্রীকে প্রায় ২২৪ কোটি টাকা স্কলারশিপ প্রদান করা হয়েছে।
  • স্বনির্ভরতার জন্য সংখ্যালঘু যুবক-যুবতীদের প্রায় ১৩১ কোটি টাকা ঋণ প্রদান করা হয়েছে।
  • ৩টি কর্মতীর্থ নির্মাণের কাজ শেষ হয়েছে
  • এই জেলায় সবার ঘরে আলো প্রকল্পে ১০০% গ্রামীণ বৈদ্যুতিকরণের কাজ সম্পন্ন হবে।

 

সেচ

  • ১৬০ কিমি দৈর্ঘ্যের বাঁধ সংরক্ষণের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।
  • প্রায় ৪৩৯ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে কান্দি মাস্টার প্ল্যানের কাজ শুরু হয়েছে।

 

জনস্বাস্থ্য কারিগরী

  • বিগত সাড়ে চার বছরে ৫৮৩ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে ১২৯টি জলপ্রকল্পের কাজ শুরু হয়েছে, এর মধ্যে ৭৩টি প্রকল্পের কাজ সমাপ্র হয়ে গেছে।
  • আর্সেনিক অধ্যুষিত এলাকায় আর্সেনিক দূষণের মোকাবিলায় ৪টি Surface Water Based Project রূপায়িত হয়েছে।

 

পর্যটন

মোতিঝিল ট্যুরিজম ডেসটিনেশন – পর্যটন শিল্পের উন্নয়নের পক্ষে মতিঝিলকে কেন্দ্র করে গড়ে উঠেছে প্রকৃতি তীর্থ।

 

অনগ্রসর কল্যান ও আদিবাসী উন্নয়ন

  • ৪৬ হাজারের বেশি ছাত্র-ছাত্রী শিক্ষাশ্রী প্রকল্পে সহায়তা পেয়েছে।
  • বিগত সাড়ে ৪ বছরে এই জেলায় ৪ লক্ষ ৩ হাজারেরও বেশি জনজাতি সংশাপত্র প্রদান করা হয়েছে।

 

নারী ও শিশু উন্নয়ন

  • এই জেলায় প্রায় ২ লক্ষ ৮৫ হাজার ছাত্রী কন্যাশ্রী আওতায় এসেছে।
  • এই জেলায় ৩ হাজার অঙ্গনওয়াড়ি কেন্দ্র তৈরি করা হয়েছে।
  • বর্তমানে অপুষ্ট শিশুর সংখ্যা ৬০০০ থেকে কমে ১৫০০ –র কাছাকাছি নেমে এসেছে

 

খাদ্য সুরক্ষা – খাদ্য সাথী

এই জেলায় ৫৬ লক্ষেরও বেশি মানুষ ২ টাকা কেজি দরে খাদ্যশস্য পাচ্ছেন।

 

শিল্প

  • জেলায় ক্ষুদ্র, ছোট ও মাঝারি উদ্যোগের ১৮টি ক্লাস্টার গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।

  • এই জেলায় বিগত সাড়ে চার বছরে ৬৫৬ কিমি রাস্তা নির্মাণ/ পুনর্নির্মাণ ও সংস্করনের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে। প্রায় ৬০০ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে ২০৪টি প্রকল্পের কাজ শেষ হয়েছে।
  • ৪৫ কোটি টাকা প্রকল্প ব্যয়ের বহরমপুর থেকে কান্দি, রাস্তা সংস্কারের কাজ রূপায়িত হচ্ছে।

 

বিদ্যু९ ও অচিরাচরিত শক্তি

সাগরদীঘি তাপবিদ্যু९ কেন্দ্রের ৩ নং ইউনিট আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে চালু হয়েছে। এছাড়া ৬০০০ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে সাগরদীঘি তাপবিদ্যুৎ কেন্দ্রের আরও ২টি ইউনিট স্থাপনের কাজ হাতে নেওয়া হয়েছে।

Mamata Banerjee Tuesday slammed the Congress and the CPI(M) for their “unethical alliance” at two rallies in Alipurduar and Jalpaiguri.

She also slammed the Centre for the plight of tea garden workers.

“The Prime Minister comes here and speaks at length. He talks about selling tea. Ask him… three months back, the central government had said it would take over seven tea estates. Nothing has happened till date… he has made such comments for votes. Under whose jurisdiction are the tea estates? He will not do anything,” she said.

The Chairperson added that  tea garden workers would starve if she didn’t provide food grains to them. “If I do not provide it to you, you can’t have food. I will always do your work. But you please strengthen my party. Please vote for us,” she said, referring to the supply of subsidised food grains to tea gardens.

“I have come to the Hills and the Dooars at least 100 times. I love you,” she said in Alipurduar

“The situation had become tense in the Terai and the Dooars because of the movement in the hills. We could pacify all of them and there is peace across the region now. I want to make it clear to the BJP that to be courageous is good, but over-confidence is not good,” she told the audience in Jalpaiguri.

Mamata Banerjee took time off her campaign schedule to log on to Facebook on April 13 to connect with the people of the state.

She did a Q&A session on her Facebook page, which got a thunderous response from users. Questions kept coming as often as one per second.

The Q&A session, which was originally supposed to be a 30-min activity, stretched on to over an hour as people kept posting questions.

“I was supposed to finish at 9. But I like answering your questions. So I want to continue a little longer answering your questions. I cannot answer all, but I am trying,” she said.

She ended the session with a Facebook Live video which received over 25,000 views in less than an hour.

Her page was swamped with greetings, wishes, concerns for her health and messages from supporters and common people alike.

Here are some of the questions she answered:

Sheikh Azhar: Didi, you are chatting on Facebook for the first time. How different is it from rallies?

Didi: Thank you. Rallies are different from Facebook live. I am loving this Facebook live. I enjoy talking and listening to people. But due to paucity of time I sometimes cannot do this.

Anirban Sengupta: As a young person in Bengal I am proud that our CM is so tech-savvy. Didi, do you have plans to use other social media channels like Instagram?

Didi: Now I am on Facebook and Twitter. I enjoy connecting with people, to listen to them. Good suggestion. Thanks.

Piyush Khandelwal: What type of development do you have planned for the next 5 years, if elected?

Didi: I will give thrust to the young generation. I will give thrust to the IT generation. And I will continue to give more importance to the economically downtrodden.

She also answered questions critical of her, with elan.

Ankur Chakraborty: What about the Sarada and Narad scam? Why people are in ministerial position after being implicated?

Didi: Sharada to Narada all are planted political game. The real culprits are not arrested. We will take action. Now the actual Bill is approved. The Sharada man was arrested in 2012 by our government though Sharada started in 2000 under Left Front government under full protection of Left Front and Central government.

The Left Front people, who are culprits in Sharada, are not arrested. Even SEBI and other central agencies who are responsible did not take action.

Narada is a election political vendetta.

All action will be taken against the pillars of Sharada.

Mitra Chakraborty: Do syndicates fund Trinamool?

Didi: No. Never done.

Pallabi Chatterjee: Why does your government work for a particular community only?

Didi: This not at all the truth. We work for people of all religions, caste or creed. We never discriminate. Look at Khadya Sathi, Kanyashree or Sabuj Sathi – everyone is getting the benefit. We do not even see political colours before providing any service to people. Bengal is a rainbow of colours.

She also exchanged greetings and responded to light-hearted questions

Didi: Thank you for your kind words

Fatema Khatoon: You have done so much for women in d state what plan do u have fr men ? ( suvo noboborsho ).

Didi: I am not a feminist. I am a humanist and will take care of every human being. I will take care of all humanity.

 

And she answered some political questions as well

Akshay Mishra: How do you rate current BJP government over past few governments?

Didi: They are behaving very casually. Intolerant. Negative. And always with a political vendetta.

Babita Mullick Biswas: What are your views of CPI(M)-Congress alliance?

Didi: It is an unethical, selfish alliance.

Mohit Vora: what action are you taking on flyover incident?

Didi: Law will take its own course. The tender for the flyover was allotted during CPI(M) rule. We have already set up the experts committee. We will deal with the matter strongly
