We all know about the menace of trolls on Twitter, how people hide behind fake accounts and hurl abuses and unfounded allegations at people to malign their reputations.
Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee yesterday fought back one such troll in the way it should be done – by simply sticking to the truth.
A troll had alleged yesterday that he was doing politics with rape. Abhishek Banerjee answered directly on Twitter, asking the troll to simply come face-to-face to hear the truth and clear all doubts, instead of “hiding behind a mask using a fake identity to promote someone else’s agenda”. However the troll refused, proving the nefarious agenda.
In fact, after a few hours, he replied once again to the same troll, to another baseless allegation. He said that he had waited all day but all in vain. He challenged the troll thus: “I waited for you all day Sir. Will again wait for you tomorrow. Come out of Che Guevara Mask your hiding behind. Economy hv become Cashless and Bhakts have become Faceless. May god bless you.”
The troll has still not responded to the challenge. Abhishek Banerjee has bravely shown how a troll can be unmasked, keeping one’s self-respect intact.

সোশ্যাল মিডিয়ায় ট্রোলদের মুখোশ খুলে দিলেন তৃণমূল সাংসদ ও যুব নেতা
টুইটারের মতো সোশ্যাল মিডিয়ায় ট্রোলদের দৌরাত্বের ব্যাপারে আমরা অনেকেই ওয়াকিবহাল। জাল অ্যাকাউন্ট তৈরি করে এরা কদর্য ভাষায় অসত্য অভিযোগ করে কিছু মানুষের ব্যাপারে কুৎসা ছড়ায়।
গতকাল তৃণমূল সাংসদ ও যুব নেতা অভিষেক বন্দোপাধ্যায় সত্যকে হাতিয়ার করে এরকমই একটি ট্রোল অ্যাকাউন্ট-এর বিরুদ্ধে রুখে দাঁড়ান ও তার মুখোশ খুলে দেন।
এই ট্রোল অ্যাকাউন্টটি গতকাল সাংসদের বিরুদ্ধে অভিযোগ আনে যে তিনি সাম্প্রতিক ধর্ষনকান্ড নিয়ে রাজনীতি করছেন। এর উত্তরে অভিষেক বন্দোপাধ্যায় লেখেন যে মুখোশের পেছনে লুকিয়ে না থেকে, সামনাসামনি এসে প্রশ্নোত্তরে মাধ্যমে সমস্ত ব্যাপারটা মিটিয়ে নেওয়া হলেই ভালো হয়। তিনি এও বলেন যে মুখোশের আড়ালে থেকে জাল অ্যাকাউন্ট ব্যবহার করে অন্য কারুর কার্যসিদ্ধি করার চেষ্টা না করাই ভালো। কিন্তু এক্ষেত্রে ট্রোলটি নিরুত্তর থাকে।
কয়েক ঘন্টা পরে তৃণমূল সাংসদ আবার ঐ ট্রোলের আরেকটি ভিত্তিহীন অভিযোগের উত্তরে লেখেন, যে তিনি সারাদিন তো অপেক্ষা করলেন কিন্তু ঐ মহোদয়ের সাহস হল না সামনাসামনি আসার। দেশের অর্থনীতি যখন বিপর্যয়ের মুখে তখন এই ‘ভক্ত’-রা মুখোশের আড়ালে।ভগবান এদের রক্ষা করুন।
এখনও পর্যন্ত এই ট্রোলটি থেকে কিন্তু কোনও উত্তর মেলেনি।এই ভাবেই তৃণমূল সাংসদ ও যুব নেতা অভিষেক বন্দোপাধ্যায় দেখিয়ে দিলেন যে সত্যকে অবলম্বন করে কীভাবে নিজের আত্মমর্যাদা বজায় রেখে এইসব ট্রোলদের বিরুদ্ধে রুখে দাঁড়ানো যায়।
