To ramp up the production of eggs in Bengal, both chicken and duck, the State Government’s Animal Resources Development (ARD) Department is taking several measures.

The latest among them are the setting up of two chicken farms in Kalyani in Nadia district and in Barjora in Bankura district at a combined cost of Rs 60 crore. Then, a chicken farm in Boromoholla in Birbhum district is being renovated to augment production. At Labhpur in Birbhum district, the department is setting up a duck farm.

According to sources in the ARD Department, about 2.5 crore eggs, including chicken and duck, are required daily in the state. To ensure that the state produces the required number, various measures are being taken to encourage people to set up chicken and duck farms. All these are outlined in the Incentive Policy 2017 for poultry farmers that the ARD Department has chalked up. For augmenting production on the basis of this policy, the Finance Department has allotted Rs 2015 crore.

As part of the policy, the department is providing subsidy to the extent of Rs 80 lakh for people working towards augmenting egg production.

A person who will be producing 10,000 birds (chicken or duck) will get an incentive of upto Rs 8 lakh. Among other incentives are the requirement for only part payment of the electricity bill for farm owners, discount on the loan repayment amount and removal of stamp duty. The result of these measures, according to the ARD Department, is the submission of applications for setting up 43 poultry farms.

The government is distributing young chickens and ducklings to farmers and rural self-help groups across the state. During the current financial year (2017-18), 60 lakh young chickens will be distributed. Of this number, 12 lakh will be distributed among almost 7,000 self-help groups (SHG). West Bengal Livestock Development Corporation is primarily responsible for implementing these decisions.

 

ডিমের জন্য ৬০ কোটির দুই খামার রাজ্যের

রাজ্যে ডিমের জোগান ও চাহিদার ফারাক কমাতে এ বার রাজ্য সরকারই শুরু করছে বাণিজ্যিক উৎপাদন। কল্যাণী ও বাঁকুড়ার বড়জোড়াতে মুরগির খামার তৈরি করতে ষাট কোটি টাকা বিনিয়োগ করছে প্রাণিসম্পদ বিকাশ উন্নয়ন নিগম। ওই দু’টি খামার থেকে প্রতিদিন সাড়ে পাঁচ লক্ষ করে ডিম পাওয়া যাবে।

এ রাজ্যে প্রতিদিন ডিমের প্রয়োজন হয় আড়াই কোটির মতো। সংগঠিত ও অসংগঠিত পোলট্রি মিলিয়ে দেড় কোটির মতো ডিম পশ্চিমবঙ্গ থেকেই পাওয়া যায়। বাকি এক কোটির ঘাটতি মেটাতে দক্ষিণ ভারত থেকে ডিম আমদানি করা হয়।

প্রাণিসম্পদ বিকাশ দফতর সূত্রের খবর, নতুন ভর্তুকি নীতিতে শর্তসাপেক্ষে মুলধনী অনুদান ৮ লক্ষ টাকা ছাড়াও মেয়াদি ঋণের উপরে সুদে ভর্তুকি, বিদ্যুৎ মাসুলে আংশিক মকুব এমনকী স্ট্যাম্প ডিউটিতেও ছাড় দেওয়া হচ্ছে।

সরকার জেলায় জেলায় মুরগির বাচ্চা বিতরণ শুরু করেছে। চলতি অর্থবর্ষে (২০১৭-’১৮) ৬০ লক্ষ মুর্গীর বাচ্চা দেওয়া হবে। প্রায় সাত হাজার স্বনির্ভর গোষ্ঠীকেও প্রায় ১২ লক্ষ মুরগি ও হাঁসের বাচ্চা দেওয়ার পরিকল্পনা করা হয়েছে। তার সঙ্গে রাজ্য সরকার আর্থিক ভর্তুকি দেওয়ার কথা ঘোষণা করায় ইতিমধ্যেই নতুন ৪৩টি পোলট্রি গড়ার প্রস্তাব জমা পড়েছে। প্রকল্পগুলি বাস্তবায়িত হলে তাতেও কমপক্ষে ৩৫ লক্ষ মুরগি থাকবে। সব মিলিয়ে এর ফলে ঘাটতি পুষিয়ে যাবে বলে আশা করছে রাজ্য।

The State Government has decided to develop a state-of-the-art technology to predict lightning and to alert people at least one-and-a-half-hours ahead of its striking time at a particular location.

Bengal sees around 100 deaths per year due to lightning, and five to six people die on days when there is heavy lightning, according to a senior official at the state secretariat, Nabanna.

As per the planning, a network of eight gadgets will be installed in different parts of the state to collect information. Immediately after the prediction of lightning, the information will reach the central control room of the State Disaster Management Department at Nabanna.

The information will then be relayed to the concerned officials, starting from those in the districts to the top brass at the state secretariat and to the people’s representatives at the grassroots level.

The official gave an example: say, information is received about lightning occurring at a particular place; school children can then be asked to leave a bit early or to stay back to avoid accidents, and farmers can be asked to take shelter.

The entire project is expected to be completed before the monsoon sets in next year. The cost of running the system will be around Rs 45 lakh every year.

It may be mentioned that the State Government has taken several measures to ensure the safety of people during any natural calamity. Moreover, it is ensured that an affected person gets compensation within just seven days.

বাজ পড়ার আগেই সতর্কতা জারির ব্যবস্থা করছে রাজ্য সরকার

বাজ পড়ার আগেই সতর্কবার্তা জারি করার ব্যবস্থা চালু করতে চলেছে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকার। অত্যাধুনিক প্রযুক্তির মাধ্যমে বাজ পড়ার অন্তত এক থেকে দেড় ঘণ্টা আগে নির্দিষ্ট জায়গায় সতর্কতা জারি করতে পারবে সরকার।

এই প্রযুক্তিতে রাজ্যের আটটি জায়গায় গেজেট বসিয়ে তৈরী হবে একটি নেটওয়ার্ক, যা তথ্য সংগ্রহ করবে। বাজ পড়ার পূর্বাভাষের পরেই এই তথ্য পৌঁছবে রাজ্য বিপর্যয় ব্যবস্থাপনা দপ্তরের সেন্ট্রাল কন্ট্রোল রুমে। এরপর এই তথ্য বিভিন্ন স্তরের আধিকারিকদের কাছে পৌঁছে দেওয়া হবে।

এই পদ্ধতিতে বাজ পড়ার পূর্বাভাষ পাওয়া গেলে নানা রকম সুবিধে হতে পারে। যেমন, স্কুলপড়ুয়াদের নির্দিষ্ট সময়ের আগেই ছুটি দিয়ে দেওয়া হবে কিংবা ছুটির পরও সুরক্ষার খাতিরে স্কুলে থাকতে বলা হতে পারে। পাশাপাশি, যে কৃষকরা খোলা আকাশের নীচে কাজ করেন, তাদের নিরাপদ স্থানে সরিয়ে যাওয়া হতে পারে।

পুরো প্রকল্পটি আগামী বছর বর্ষার আগেই শেষ হয়ে যাওয়ার কথা। এই প্রকল্পটির রূপায়ণ করতে খরচ হবে আনুমানিক ৪৫ লক্ষ টাকা।

The Bengal Government has decided to advice farmers on ways to cultivate land generally considered uncultivable or which are lying fallow.

The Agriculture Department is going to hold a meeting with its officials posted in different districts to ensure that not even one cottah of land in its 194 farms lie unused. There are many farms where land is vacant and so directions will be given to cultivate something those plots.

According to a senior departmental official, if nothing can be cultivated, it will be advised to plant at least lemon trees; anything to ensure land doesn’t lie vacant.

There are also 300 ponds in the 194 farms. A letter has already been given to the Fisheries Department to ensure cultivation of fish in the ponds.

Recently too, the State Agriculture Department coordinated a meeting with all other allied departments in which sabhadipatis from all the districts were present. Most of the sabhadipatis appreciated the move of organising this co-ordination meeting.

অনাবাদী জমিকে চাষযোগ্য করার পরিকল্পনা নিয়েছে মমতার সরকার

অনাবাদী জমিকে চাষযোগ্য করে তুলতে পরিকল্পনা নিয়েছে মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের সরকার। সেই লক্ষ্যেই প্রতিটি জেলার কৃষি আধিকারিকের সঙ্গে বৈঠক করেন কৃষিমন্ত্রী। তিনি বলেন, রাজ্যে এখনও বহু জমি অনাবাদী রয়েছে। প্রতিটি জমিকে চাষযোগ্য করতে হবে। তা ডালশস্য হোক বা অন্য কোনও ফসল, সেখানে চাষ করার ব্যবস্থা করতে হবে। কিছু না হোক কাগজী লেবুর চাষ যাতে করা যায়, তার পরিকল্পনা করতে হবে। কোনও ভাবেই ফেলে রাখা যাবে না। কৃষিতে বাংলাকে আরও এগিয়ে নিয়ে যেতে হবে। প্রসঙ্গত সিঙ্গুরের অনাবাদী হয়ে যাওয়া জমিকেও মাত্র ছ’মাসের মধ্যে চাষযোগ্য করে ফসল ফলানোর উদাহরণ হয়েছে এই কৃষি দপ্তরের।

কৃষিখামারেও অনেক জমি পড়ে রয়েছে। সেই জমিকেও ব্যবহারের জন্য নির্দেশ দেওয়া হয়েছে। রাজ্যে ১৯৪টি কৃষি খামার রয়েছে। সেখানে বহু জমি অনাবাদী রয়েছে। সেই সঙ্গে কৃষি খামারের মধ্যে থাকা পুকুরেও মাছ চাষের জন্য মৎস্য দপ্তরকে বলা হয়েছে বলে কৃষিমন্ত্রী বলেন। খুব শীঘ্রই কৃষি খামারের অধিকর্তাদের সঙ্গে বৈঠকে বসব। সেখানেও যাতে নানা ধরনের চাষ করা যায়, তার জন্য বলা হবে। মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় চান, কৃষকদের আরও চাষের সুবিধা করে দিতে। কৃষিপণ্য উৎপাদনে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ আরও এগিয়ে যাক।

The West Bengal Charukala Utsav will be inaugurated today at Rabindra Sadan at 5 PM by eminent artist and Trinamool Congress’s Rajya Sabha member, Jogen Chowdhury.

The inauguration will be followed by the felicitation of eminent artists and sculptors and the awarding of young and upcoming fine arts practitioners.

An exhibition of works by the awarded artists and sculptors will be held from today till December 3 at Gaganendra Shilpa Pradarshanshala, adjacent to the Rabindra Sadan complex, from 2 PM to 8 PM.

A fine arts exhibition will be held at the Academy of Fine Arts from today till December 3, from 3 PM to 8 PM, and a fine arts exhibition will be held at Mohor Kunja from November 28 to December 7, from 2 PM to 8 PM.

Talk shows and cultural programmes will be held at Mohor Kunja every evening from November 28 to December 7. A painting exhibition will also be held at the open-air exhibition space adjacent to Charukala Bhawan.

রবীন্দ্রসদন প্রেক্ষাগৃহে আজ বিকেল ৫টায় পশ্চিমবঙ্গ চারুকলা উৎসবের উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানে শিল্পকলা জগতের কৃতী মানুষদের সম্মাননা জ্ঞাপন ও প্রতিভাবান তরুন শিল্পীদের পুরস্কার প্রদান করা হবে।

অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত থাকবেন শিক্ষা মন্ত্রী, কলকাতার মহানাগরিক, পর্যটন বিভাগের মন্ত্রী। সঙ্গে থাকবেন প্রথিতযশা শিল্পীরা।

অনুষ্ঠানে পৌরোহিত্য করবেন রাজ্য চারুকলা পর্ষদের সভাপতি শ্রী যোগেন চৌধুরী।

গগনেন্দ্র শিল্প প্রদর্শনশালায় ৩রা ডিসেম্বর পর্যন্ত রোজ বেলা ২টো থেকে রাত ৮টা অবধি চলবে শিল্পপ্রদর্শনী। একাডেমী অফ ফাইন আর্টসেও হবে শিল্পপ্রদর্শনী, রোজ বেলা ৩টা থেকে রাত ৮টা অবধি। মোহরকুঞ্জে হবে মেলা ও সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠান। চারুকলা ভবন সংলগ্ন মুক্তমঞ্চে তথ্য চিত্র প্রদর্শনীও হবে।

West Bengal State Handicrafts Fair 2017, popularly known as Hastashilpa Mela, was inaugurated on November 18. The fair is being held near gate number 1 of Eco Park in New Town.

The fair will continue till December 10, 2017 and will be open for public every day from 1 PM till 8.30 PM. The fair features the best of handicrafts from Bengal. The stalls are being run by the handicraft-makers themselves. Besides selling the craftwork, the fair will also act as a platform for the realization of business opportunities.

The fair is being organised by the Micro and Small Scale Enterprises and Textiles Department.

Bengal has a rich centuries-old culture, whose handicrafts are famed across the country and even internationally. A few years back, under the aegis of the Trinamool Congress-run government, United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) collaborated with the State Government to set up Shilpagram, a rural crafts hub. These Shilpagrams have earned a lot of praise from international experts as centres for the marketing, selling and preservation of the rich culture of Bengal.

পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকারের ক্ষুদ্র ও মাঝারি উদ্যোগ এবং বস্ত্র শিল্প দপ্তরের আয়োজিত রাজ্য হস্তশিল্প মেলার উদ্বোধন হল ১৮ই নভেম্বর। চলবে ১০ই ডিসেম্বর পর্যন্ত। নিউটাউনে ইকো পার্কের ১ নম্বর গেটের কাছে আয়োজিত হচ্ছে এই মেলা। রোজ বেলা ১টা থেকে রাত ৮টা পর্যন্ত চলবে এই মেলা।

বাংলার হস্তশিল্প দেশে, বিদেশে বিখ্যাত। ক্ষমতায় আসার পর থেকেই রাজ্যের হস্তশিল্পকে বিশ্বের দরবারে তুলে ধরতে উদ্যোগী হয়েছেন মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। তৈরী করেছেন বিশ্ব বাংলা ব্র্যান্ড। ইউনেস্কোর সহযোগিতায় গঠিত হয়েছে শিল্পগ্রাম, যা আদতে গ্রামীণ হস্তশিল্পের হাব।

এই হস্তশিল্প মেলায় রাজ্যের সেরা হস্তশিল্পের সম্ভার নিয়ে সমস্ত জেলা থেকে এসেছেন শিল্পীরা।

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has said that the estimated loss due to the recent flood in 11 districts in Bengal stands at Rs 14,000 crore. The State Government has sent a report to that effect to the Centre, containing the estimated loss across the state.

According to an official at the state secretariat, Nabanna, over the last four years, the state has spent Rs 1,500 crore to give compensation and to fight the situation after any natural calamity. Unfortunately, despite the state administration writing to the Central Government several times, the Centre has not released any grant to support the State Government during times of such need.

With respect to the recent flood, the official said that while compensation packages were being announced for other states, not even a representative was sent to Bengal by the Centre to take stock of the situation.

However, the State Government had responded without any delay; it started providing all necessary support to the flood-affected farmers. The Chief Minister herself went to the heavily inundated areas across the state and took stock of the situation.

The official said that seeds worth around Rs 10 crore have already been distributed. Sowing of seeds in most of the flood-affected areas in south Bengal is complete and it is going on in North Bengal in full swing.

The official assured that despite the flood, there is nothing to panic with regard to the production of food crops. The target of rice cultivation of around 161 lakh tonne is most likely to be reached.

It may be mentioned that the flood in both north and south Bengal took place due to heavy rainfall from August 12 to 15 and from July 21 to 26. According to government sources, the flood in 11 districts had affected agriculture on around 10.67 lakh acres. Around three lakh houses were completely damaged, around 55,000 were heavily damaged and more than 52,000 were partly affected.

বন্যায় ক্ষতি ১৪ হাজার কোটি, কেন্দ্রকে চিঠি পাঠাল রাজ্য

রাজ্যে সাম্প্রতিক বন্যায় ১৪ হাজার কোটি টাকার ক্ষয়ক্ষতি হয়েছে। এই মর্মে রাজ্যের পক্ষ থেকে ইতিমধ্যে কেন্দ্রকে চিঠি পাঠানো হয়েছে। বুধবার নবান্নে সাংবাদিকদের মুখোমুখি হয়ে এ’কথা জানিয়েছেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়।

উল্লেখ্য, চলতি বছরে প্রথমে দক্ষিণবঙ্গ এবং তারপরে উত্তরবঙ্গ ভয়াবহ বন্যার কবলে পড়ে। কৃষিক্ষেত্র ছাড়াও রাস্তা-ঘাট, ব্যক্তিগত সম্পত্তি সবই প্রচুর পরিমাণে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়েছে। বিশেষ করে কৃষিক্ষেত্রে ব্যাপক ক্ষতি হয়। সরকারের পক্ষ থেকে জানানো হয়েছে, ১৪ হাজার কোটি টাকার সম্পত্তির ক্ষতি হয়। যার মধ্যে কৃষিক্ষেত্রেই প্রায় সাত হাজার কোটি টাকার ক্ষতি হয়েছে।

গত ৪ বছরে রাজ্যের প্রাকৃতিক বিপর্যয়ে ক্ষতিপূরণ বাবদ প্রায় দেড় হাজার কোটি টাকা দিয়েছে রাজ্য সরকার।

প্রসঙ্গত, চলতি বছরে বন্যার কবলে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ ছাড়াও গুজরাত, অসম, বিহার পড়েছে। সেক্ষেত্রে কেন্দ্র ইতিমধ্যে গুজরাতকে ও বিহারকে ৫০০ কোটি টাকা এবং অসমকে দু’হাজার কোটি টাকা ক্ষতিপূরণ দিয়েছে। এবার পশ্চিমবঙ্গও বন্যার ক্ষতিপূরণ চেয়ে কেন্দ্রকে চিঠি পাঠাল

West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation (WBIDC) is now going to visit other countries to meet potential investors. The schedule till next November has already been decided.

In this endeavour, industry associations like Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and Associated Chambers of Commerce of India (ASSOCHAM) are lending their expertise to WBIDS too.

The WBIDC is going to write monthly reports on the progress made and present it to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. The reports would contain the progress made in drawing in investments to Bengal, including the amount of investments made.

Every month, State Government representatives would hold meetings with industry bodies and potential investors of three countries to impress on them the industry-friendly climate of Bengal and the presence of all manner of infrastructural facilities.

The schedule from May to November is as follows:

It must be mentioned in this regard that trade representatives from 29 countries participated at the 2017 Bengal Global Business Summit (BGBS). They have promised investments in transnational waterways, coastal zonal infrastructure, civil defence, transport, sports, heavy industry, electricity generation, non-renewable energy, food processing, health, education, information technology, urban infrastructure, hospitality, tourism and some other sectors. A total investment of Rs 2.35 lakh crore was committed.

At BGBS 2017, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, whose brainchild the annual trade summit is, told business representatives from around the world, “If you invest in Bengal, you would get access to north-eastern India too. Not just that, you would be able to link up to markets in neighbouring countries like Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, China, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and other Asian countries. We have 6 lakh acres of land in industrial parks. You would also be able to tap a skilled and trained labour force; you would be able to access the best brains of Bengal”.

The industrial development that the State is seeing in recent times is the result of untiring efforts led by Mamata Banerjee over the last six years. Last year, she and her team visited Germany and met leading industrialists. Prior to that, she had visited London and Singapore. More such business visits are being lined up. Bengal is on its way to becoming one of the leading industrial states of the country.

বিনিয়োগ আনতে এবার বিদেশে প্রচার করবে বাংলা

পশ্চিমবঙ্গ শিল্প উন্নয়ন নিগম এবার বিদেশি বিনিয়োগ আনতে দেশের বাইরে প্রচারে নামতে চলেছে। বিশ্বের বাজার থেকে লগ্নি টানতে চলতি মাস থেকেই প্রচার কর্মসূচিতে নামছে। আপাতত আগামী নভেম্বর মাস পর্যন্ত কর্মসূচি ঠিক করা হয়ে গেছে শিল্পোন্নয়ন নিগমের। তবে এই কাজে শিল্পোন্নয়ন নিগম পাশে পেয়েছে একাধিক বণিক সংগঠনগুলোকে। বিদেশি লগ্নি আনতে যৌথভাবেই তারা বিশ্বের বাজারে দরবার করবে বলে দপ্তর সূত্রে খবর। এই প্রচারে ফিকি ও অ্যাসোচেমের মতো বণিক সংগঠনগুলোও রাজ্য সরকারের সঙ্গে হাত মিলিয়েছে। এই মর্মে শিল্পোন্নয়ন নিগম প্রতি মাসেই একটি রিপোর্ট তৈরি করবে। সেই রিপোর্ট জমা করবে মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর কাছে। প্রত্যেক মাসের সাফল্য ও প্রস্তাবিত বিনিয়োগের পরিমাণ মূল্যায়ন করা হবে এই রিপোর্ট থেকে। এ প্রসঙ্গে ক্ষুদ্র ও মাঝারি শিল্প, টেক্সটাইল ও বৃহৎ শিল্প দপ্তরের অতিরিক্ত প্রধান সচিব রাজীভা সিনহা বলেন, ‘প্রত্যেক মাসে আমরা অন্তত তিনটি করে দেশের বণিক সংগঠন ও শিল্প উদ্যোগীদের সঙ্গে বৈঠক করব। সেই দেশের শিল্পপতিদের বোঝানোর চেষ্টা করব, বাংলার শিল্পবান্ধব পরিবেশ ও বিনিয়োগের সবধরনের পরিকাঠামোর বিষয়গুলো।’ শিল্পোন্নয়ন দপ্তর সূত্রে খবর, চলতি মাসেই তিনটি দেশে বিনিয়োগের বার্তা নিয়ে যাওয়া হচ্ছে।

প্রসঙ্গত, ২০১৭ বিশ্ববঙ্গ শিল্প সম্মেলনে যোগ দিয়েছিল বিশ্বের ২৯টি দেশের প্রতিনিধি ও শিল্পপতিরা। অন্তর্দেশীয় জলপথ, উপকূলবর্তী এলাকায় বিনিয়োগ, অসামরিক প্রতিরক্ষা, পরিবহণ পরিকাঠামো, ক্রীড়া, ভারী শিল্প, বিদ্যুৎ শক্তি উৎপাদন, অপ্রচলিত শক্তি, খাদ্য প্রক্রিয়াকরণ, স্বাস্থ্য, শিক্ষা, তথ্যপ্রযুক্তি, নগরোন্নয়ন পরিকাঠামো, আতিথেয়তা পরিকাঠামো, পর্যটন সহ একাধিক ক্ষেত্রে বিনিয়োগ নিয়ে আলোচনা হয় বাংলার শিল্প সম্মেলনে। ভারী শিল্প থেকে ক্ষুদ্র, ছোট ও মাঝারি শিল্পে বাংলার নতুন শিল্পবান্ধব পরিবেশে ইতিমধ্যে আগ্রহ প্রকাশ করে বিনিয়োগে এগিয়ে এসেছে দেশ-বিদেশের বিভিন্ন সংস্থা। সম্প্রতি মার্কিন রাষ্ট্রদূত রিচার্ড ভার্মা নবান্নে এসে মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর সঙ্গে বৈঠক করেন। শিক্ষা, স্কিল ডেভেলপমেন্ট, অচিরাচরিত শক্তি সহ একাধিক ক্ষেত্রে বিনিয়োগে আগ্রহ প্রকাশ করেছে আমেরিকা।

সর্বোপরি গত বছর মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের জার্মানি সফরের ফলে বাংলায় বিনিয়োগের পথ আরও প্রশস্ত হয়েছে। বিশ্ববঙ্গ বাণিজ্য সম্মেলন থেকে মুখ্যমন্ত্রী বিদেশি বিনিয়োগকারীদের উদ্দেশ্যে বলেছিলেন, ‘যদি আপনারা বাংলায় বিনিয়োগ করেন তা হলে উত্তর-পূর্ব রাজ্যগুলির সঙ্গে আপনাদের যোগাযোগ আরও বেড়ে যাবে। বাংলাদেশ, নেপাল, ভুটান, চিন, থাইল্যান্ড, সিঙ্গাপুর, কুয়ালালামপুর সহ এশিয়ার একাধিক দেশের সঙ্গে আপনাদের যোগাযোগ আরও সুদৃঢ় হবে। ইন্ডাস্ট্রিয়াল পার্কে আমাদের ৬ হাজার একর জমি আছে। অল্প খরচে ভালো প্রশিক্ষিত শ্রমিক পাবেন। বাংলার শিক্ষিত মস্তিষ্ক পাবেন।’ মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর আবেদনে সাড়া দিয়ে চলতি বছরের বাণিজ্য সম্মেলনেই প্রস্তাবিত বিনিয়োগ এসেছে ২ লক্ষ ৩৫ হাজার কোটি টাকা। এবার আরও বেশি বিনিয়োগ আনতে বিশ্ব বাজারে লগ্নি প্রচারে নামছে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ শিল্পোন্নয়ন নিগম।
