Fifteen things Trinamool have said on #DeMonetisation

1. Different people have reacted differently from the time this announcement was made. Some people have conducted polls on their mobile app, some people have shed crocodile tears while millions have suffered.

2. Mamata Banerjee was the first person to raise her voice against this draconian demonetisation, and reacted to the decision – not ten days or fifteen days later, but within two hours. “While we are strongly against black money, corruption, we are deeply concerned about common people, small traders, how will they buy essentials tomorrow? This is financial chaos, disaster let loose on the common people of India. He (Prime Minister) could not get back the promised black money from abroad, hence so much drama.”

3. More of what the Trinamool Congress Chief said soon after the announcement: “We want to know from the Prime Minister how our poorest brothers and sisters, who’ve received their week’s hard-earned wage in one Rs 500 note will buy atta, chawal tomorrow. This is a heartless and ill-conceived blow to the common people, the middle class, the agricultural cooperatives, the tea garden workers, the unorganised labour sector, shopkeepers, farmers, small businessmen. All will suffer, there will be starvation deaths.”

4. Trinamool means grassroots. This is the voice of the people. More than 70 people have died. Lives have been ruined irrespective of caste, community and creed. This is not merely an inconvenience, it is killing the economy.

5. In a year, the three months from December to February are the most productive time for construction and development projects. Everything is shut, progress is halted. The tea garden and jute mill workers are not receiving their salary and are in distress. The transport sector has been hit.

6. The Centre has given exemption from demonetisation to all its sectors – railways, transport, petroleum – but state-controlled agricultural cooperatives have not been permitted to exchange currency. This is not federalism, States have shut down.

7. Sixteen Opposition parties have united against the Government. This is a chorus of the people.

8. Trinamool Congress raised the issue of black money in Parliament in 1998. Trinamool MPs had a demonstration on black money both inside and outside Parliament in 2014. What is the Government doing about electoral reforms? Mamata Banerjee has been raising the issue of electoral reforms for two decades. 80% of donations received by parties are from “unknown sources”.

9. Demonetisation is a big black scandal. People are suffering. This is a grim situation. We have offered concrete suggestions. One of the suggestions offered is to allow old and new 500 rupee notes to function parallel to each other. If you had to keep demonetisation a secret, what prevented you from printing more Rs 100 notes and other smaller denominations?

10. Four out of five villages in India don’t have a bank. We all want to get to a cashless society. But 95% debit cards in India are not used to buy anything, they are used only to withdraw cash. One Minister may want to buy his vegetables and do his laundry with plastic, everybody cannot.

11. GDP per day is Rs 45,000 crore. Of this, 59% is private consumption on household financial expenditure (which is about Rs 27,000 crore). 87% of this is cash. That’s about Rs 24,000 crore. So if it is Rs 24,000 crore cash, and it has been 15 days, my submission is, you can challenge my figure, we have lost Rs 3.75 lakh crore GDP in the last 15 days. Only 0.02% of currency is counterfeit. So what do you do to the other 99.98%? You penalize the whole country.

12. During Singur andolan we were alone. But Mamata Banerjee fought and it was people’s victory. Even Supreme Court, a decade later, confirmed our convictions. You cannot suppress the voice of the people.

13. Anyone who opposes the Government policy is not supporting black money, is corrupt or anti-national. The PM thinks he alone is the messiah and all of us are devils. We strongly oppose the Government because poor are suffering and economy is being killed.

14. Try as you may, through your agencies, to hassle and harass us, it will embolden our conviction to fight. You may even try to jail Mamata Banerjee, but that will only make our movement stronger because we are fighting for the people. This is is not a political movement. This is a people’s movement.

15. The party’s position on ‘Joint Parliamentary Committee’ (JPC) is clear. Seven JPCs have been formed till date, without any results. They are a waste of time.

१। जिस समय से यह घोषणा की गयी है उस समय से लोगों ने अलग अलग ढंग से अपनी प्रतिक्रिया व्यक्त की है। जहाँ कुछ लोगों ने अपने मोबाइल एप्लीकेशन पर चुनाव संचालित किया और कुछ लोगों ने मगरमच्छ के आँसू बहाए वहीँ लाखों ने कष्ट उठाया।

२। ममता बैनर्जी पहली व्यक्ति थी जिन्होंने इस कठोर फैसले का विरोध किया। उन्होंने इस फैसले के खिलाफ आवाज़ उठाने का निर्णय १५ दिन के बाद नहीं बल्कि दो घंटे से कम में लिया। हम काले धन और ब्रष्टाचार के विरुद्ध हैं लेकिन हमें आम आदमी की चिंता है। यह आम आदमी कल सामान कैसे खरीदेगा । यह एक वित्तीय अराजकता है जो पूरे देश पर छा गयी है। प्रधान मंत्री इसलिए इतना नाटक कर रहे हैं क्योंकि वो विदेश से काला धन वापस नहीं ला पाए ।

३। तृणमूल सभानेत्री ने घोषणा के बाद यह भी कहा – “हम जानना चाहते हैं कि हमारे गरीब भाई-बहन, जिन्हें हफ्ते की कड़ी मेहनत के बाद वेतन मिला है, वह कल चावल और आटा कैसे खरीदेंगे? यह आम लोगों, मध्यम वर्ग, कृषि सहकारी समितियों, चाय बागान श्रमिकों, असंगठित श्रम क्षेत्र, दुकानदारों, किसानों, छोटे व्यापारियों के लिए एक बुरा झटका है।वे सब भुगतेंगे और भूख से मर जायेंगे”

४। तृणमूल का मतलब है ‘जनसाधारण’। 70 से अधिक लोग मारे गए हैं। कई लोग तबाह हो गए हैं। यह केवल एक असुविधा नहीं है बल्कि हमारीअर्थव्यवस्था को नष्ट कर दे रही है।

५। साल के तीन महीने – दिसंबर से फरवरी -निर्माण और विकास परियोजनाओं के लिए सबसे उत्पादक समय है।सब कुछ बंद है, प्रगति को रोक दिया गया है। चाय बागान और जूट मिल के मजदूरों को वेतन नहीं मिला है, वो संकट में हैं।परिवहन क्षेत्र में बहुत परेशानी हो रही है।

६। रेलवे, परिवहन, पेट्रोलियम – केंद्र ने विमुद्रीकरण से अपने सभी क्षेत्रों को छूट दी है, लेकिन सरकार नियंत्रित कृषि सहकारी समितियों को मुद्रा का आदान-प्रदान करने की अनुमति नहीं दी है। यह संघवाद नहीं है, राज्य बंद हो रहे है।

७। सोलह विपक्षी दलें सरकार के ख़िलाफ़ एकजुट हुई हैं। यह पूरे देश की आवाज़ है।

८। 1998 में, तृणमूल कांग्रेस ने संसद में काले धन का मुद्दा उठाया था। 2014 में तृणमूल सांसदों ने काले धन के मुद्दे पर संसद के अंदर औरबहार एक प्रदर्शन किया था। सरकार निर्वाचन संबंधी सुधारों के बारे में क्या कर रही है? ममता बैनर्जी निर्वाचन संबंधी सुधार के मुद्दे को दो दशकोंसे उठा रही हैं। पार्टियों द्वारा प्राप्त 80 प्रतिशत चंदा कहाँ से आता है किसी को पता नहीं है।

९। विमुद्रीकरण एक बड़ा काला scandal है। लोगों को तकलीफ़ हो रही है। स्थिति बहुत ही गंभीर है। हमने ठोस सुझाव दिया है। एक सुझाव है किनए और पुराने 500 रुपये के नोटों को एक साथ चलने दिया जाये। अगर आपको विमुद्रीकरण को गुप्त रखना ही था तो आपको सौ रुपये और उससेकम मूल्य वाले नोटों को ज़्यादा संख्या में छपवाने से किसने रोका था?

१०। भारत के ५ में से ४ गांवों में बैंक नहीं है। हम सब चाहते हैं कि कैशलेस इकॉनमी बने, लेकिन ९५% डेबिट कार्ड आज भी सिर्फ पैसे निकालने के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है नाकि खरीदारी के लिए। कोई एक मंत्री अपने कार्ड से खरीदारी कर ही सकता है, लेकिन सब के लिए यह संभव नहीं है।

११। भारत का एक दिन का जीडीपी है ४५००० करोड़ रुपए। इस में से ५९% निजी उपभोग और घर के खर्चे है (इसकी कुल कीमत होगी २७००० करोड़रूपए), इसका ८७% नगद होता है, जो लगभग २४००० करोड़ रूपए है। इस हिसाब से
१५ दिनों में देश के जीडीपी को ३.७५ लाख करोड़ रूपए का भारत का एक दिन का जीडीपी ४५००० करोड़ रूपया है। इस में से ५९% निजी उपभोग और घर के खर्चे है (इसकी कुल कीमत होगी २७००० करोड़ रुपये), इसका ८७% नगद होता है, जो लगभग २४००० करोड़ रूपया है। इस हिसाब से १५ दिनों में देश के जीडीपी को ३.७५ लाख करोड़ रुपये का घाटा हुआ है। और देश में जितना मुद्रा प्रचलित हैं, उसका ०.०२% नक़ली है। तो फिर बाकि ९९.९८% को क्यों तकलीफ पहुँचा रहे हैं?

१२। सिंगुर आंदोलन के वक़्त हम अकेले थे। पर ममता बनर्जी डट कर जमी रहीं और लोगों की जीत हुई। दस साल के बाद सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने भी हमारे विश्वास की पुष्टि की। आप लोगों की आवाज़ को नहीं दबा सकते हैं।

१३। एक आदमी जो सरकार की नीति का विरोध करता है काले धन का समर्थक नहीं है और ना ही वह बेईमान या राष्ट्रविरोधी है। प्रधान मंत्री सोचते हैं कि वह अकेले ही मसीहा हैं और हम सब शैतान। हम दृढ़ता से सरकार का विरोध करते हैं क्योंकि गरीब तकलीफ मैं हैं और अर्थव्यवस्था की हत्या कर दी जा रही है।

१४। आप अपनी एजेंसियों के माध्यम से हमें जितना भी डराने की कोशिश करें, हमारे दृढ विश्वास को तोड़ नहीं पाएँगे। आप अगर ममता बैनर्जी को जेल में भी डाल दे, तो भी जनता का यह संग्राम नहीं रुकेगा। यह राजनैतिक लड़ाई नहीं है, लोगों के हक़ की लड़ाई है।

१५। संयुक्त संसदीय समिति (जेपीसी) को लेकर हमारी पार्टी के विचार स्पष्ट हैं। आज तक ७ जेपीसी बनी हैं लेकिन कोई परिणाम नहीं मिला। जेपीसी सिर्फ वक़्त की बर्बादी है।

নোট বাতিলের প্রতিবাদে তৃণমূলের প্রতিক্রিয়া

১। বিমুদ্রিকরণের আনুষ্ঠানিক ঘোষণা হওয়ার পর থেকে বিভিন্ন মহল থেকে নানারকম মতামত এসেছে। কেউ নিজেদের মোবাইল জনমত সমীক্ষা করেছেন, আবার কেউ এই ইস্যুতে কুম্ভীরাশ্রুর বন্যা বইয়ে দিয়েছেন।

২। নোট বাতিলের এই হঠকারী সিদ্ধান্ত ঘোষণার দুঘন্টার মধ্যেই এই হঠকারী সিদ্ধান্তের বিরুদ্ধে মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় প্রথম আওয়াজ তোলেন। তিনি বলেন, “আমরা কালো টাকার বিরুদ্ধে, কিন্তু সাধারণ মানুষ, ছোট ব্যবসায়ীদের ব্যাপারেও চিন্তিত। কাল মানুষ নিত্যপ্রয়োজনীয় জিনিষপত্র কিনবে কি করে? এটা অর্থনৈতিক অরাজকতা। বিদেশ থেকে কালো টাকা ফেরত আনতে না পেরে এখন প্রধানমন্ত্রী প্রহসন করছেন।”

৩। ঘোষণার পর তৃণমূলনেত্রী আরও বলেন: “আমাদের দরিদ্র, খেটে খাওয়া ভাই ও বোনেরা, যারা ৫০০ টাকার নোটে মাইনে পান, তারা কাল বাজারহাট কিভাবে করবেন? এই নিষ্ঠুর সিদ্ধান্তের কারণে সাধারণ মানুষ, মধ্যবিত্ত, কৃষি-সমবায়, চা বাগান কর্মী, জুট মিল কর্মী, অসংগঠিত শ্রমিক, দোকানের মালিক, ছোট ব্যবসায়ীরা ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হবেন। অনাহারে মৃত্যু হবে।

৪। তৃণমূল মানে সাধারণ মানুষের কণ্ঠস্বর। ৭০ জনেরও বেশি মানুষ প্রাণ হারিয়েছেন। জাতি, ধর্ম, বর্ণ নির্বিশেষে মানুষের জীবন জর্জরিত। এটা শুধুমাত্র সাময়িক অসুবিধা নয়, অর্থনীতিকে শেষ করে দিচ্ছে এই সিদ্ধান্ত।

৫। সারা বছরের মধ্যে এই তিন মাস (ডিসেম্বর – ফেব্রুয়ারী) সব থেকে উত্পাদন ভালো হয় সে নির্মাণ কাজ হোক বা উন্নয়নমূলক কাজ। কোনো কাজ হচ্ছে না, সব বন্ধ হয়ে গেছে। চা বাগান কর্মী, জুট মিল কর্মীরা বেতন পাচ্ছেন না, তারা খুবই কষ্টে আছেন।

৬। রেল, পরিবহণ, পেট্রোলিয়াম সব ক্ষেত্রে ছাড় দিয়েছে কেন্দ্র। কিন্তু রাজ্যের কৃষি সমবায়কে কোন ছাড় দেওয়া হয়নি। এটা যুক্তরাষ্ট্রীয় পরিকাঠামোর পরিপন্থী। রাজ্যগুলি ভুক্তভোগি।

৭। নোট বাতিল ইস্যুতে ১৬টি বিরোধী দল সরকারের ঐক্যবদ্ধ হয়েছে। এটা জনগণের সমবেত প্রতিবাদের ভাষা।

৮। ১৯৯৮ সালে সংসদে তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস কালো টাকার বিষয়টি উত্থাপন করেছিল। ২০১৪ সালে আবারও সংসদের উভয়কক্ষে কালোটাকার বিষয়টি উত্থাপন করেছিলেন তৃণমূল সাংসদরা। নির্বাচনী সংস্কার নিয়ে কি সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে সরকার? মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় দুই দশক ধরে এই নির্বাচনী সংস্কারের বিষয়টি উত্থাপন করে আসছেন। দলগুলি দ্বারা গৃহীত অনুদানের ৮০ শতাংশ টাকার উৎস ‘অজানা’।

৯। বিমুদ্রিকরন এখন এখন একটি (বিগ ব্ল্যাক স্ক্যান্ডাল) বড় কেলেঙ্কারি। এর ফলে দেশে জরুরী অবস্থা তৈরি হয়েছে। এই সিদ্ধান্ত চরম আঘাত হিসেবে নেমে এসেছে সাধারণ মানুষের ওপর। আমাদের কিছু কংক্রিট পরামর্শ আছে। প্রথমত, পুরনো ও নতুন ৫০০ টাকার নোট সমানভাবে চালু রাখা উচিত। আপনাদের যদি এই নোট বাতিলের সিদ্ধান্ত গোপন রাখার ছিল তাহলে সরকার কেন প্রচুর পরিমাণে ১০০ টাকার নোট ছাপায়নি?

১০। ভারতবর্ষের পাঁচটি গ্রামের মধ্যে চারটিতে ব্যাঙ্ক নেই। আমরা সকলে cashless সমাজ চাই। কিন্তু ভারতে ৯৫ শতাংশ ডেবিট কার্ড কিছু কিনতে ব্যবহার করা হয় না, শুধুমাত্র টাকা তুলতে ব্যবহার করা হয়। একজন মন্ত্রী চাইলে কার্ড ব্যবহার করে তাঁর প্রয়োজনীয় জিনিস (যেমন- সবজি, ফল) কিনতে পারেন কিন্তু সকলের পক্ষে তা সম্ভব নয়।

১১। দেশের দৈনিক জিডিপি ৪৫০০০ কোটি টাকা। এর মধ্যে ৫৯% গৃহস্থের ব্যক্তিগত খরচের খাতায় যায়, যা সংখ্যায় দাঁড়ায় ২৭০০০ কোটি টাকায়। এর ৮৭% নগদ, যা দাঁড়ায় ২৪০০০ কোটি টাকায়। তাহলে এই দাঁড়ায় যে ১৫দিনে দেশের জিডিপির ৩.৭৫ লক্ষ কোটি টাকা ক্ষতি হল। নগদ টাকার ০.০২% জাল। তাহলে দেশের বাকি ৯৯.৯৮% লোকে কেন শাস্তি পাবে ?

১২। সিঙ্গুরের আন্দোলন আমরা একা লড়েছি। কিন্তু সাধারণ মানুষের জন্য মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় লড়াই করে গেছেন এবং মানুষের জয় হয়েছে। একমাস আগে আমাদের সেই লড়াইকে স্বীকৃতি দিয়েছে সুপ্রিম কোর্ট। এটাও মানুষের লড়াই। আপনি জনগণের মুখ বন্ধ করতে পারবেন না।

১৩। যিনি প্রধানমন্ত্রীর নীতির বিরোধিতা করবে, তিনিই কালো টাকার সমর্থক বা দেশদ্রোহী নন। প্রধানমন্ত্রী মনে করেন ‘তিনি একাই মসিহা আর আমরা সবাই খারাপ লোক?’ আমরা সরকারের এই সিদ্ধান্তের বিরোধিতা করছি কারণ সাধারণ মানুষ চূড়ান্ত ভোগান্তির শিকার হচ্ছেন।

১৪। যতইচ্ছে চেষ্টা করুন, যত খুশি এজেন্সিগুলি দিয়ে হয়রান করুন আমরা পিছু হঠব না। এমনকি আপনারা চাইলে মমতা দি কে জেলেও পাঠাতে পারেন কিন্তু তাতে আমাদের প্রতিবাদ থেমে যাবে না। কারণ আমরা সাধারণ মানুষের জন্য লড়াই করি। এটা কোন রাজনৈতিক লড়াই নয়, এটা মানুষের লড়াই।

১৫। যৌথ সংসদীয় কমিটি নিয়ে দলের অবস্থান স্পষ্ট। এখনও পর্যন্ত ৭টা কমিটি গঠন করা হয়েছে, কোন লাভ হয়নি। শুধু সময় নষ্ট হয়েছে।

Paschim Banga Charu Kala Utsav to be inaugurated today

The Paschim Banga Charu Kala Utsav 2016 will be inaugurated today by the renowned painter and Rajya Sabha member, Jogen Chowdhury today at the Rabindra Sadan-Nandan complex. It will continue till December 4.

Like every year, the venues are Gaganendra Shilpa Pradarshanshala, the open air stage at the Rabindra Sadan-Nandan complex and the Academy of Fine Arts.

The Charu Kala Utsav consists of an exhibition of artworks, showcasing of documentaries on fine arts and a fair which acts as a meeting place for exchanging ideas for artists.

Organised by the Information & Cultural Affairs Department and Paschim Banga Charu Kala Akademi, the festival has gained immense repute for showcasing outstanding works of art by artists from the State.

পশ্চিমবঙ্গ চারুকলা উত্সবের উদ্বোধন আজ

আজ রবীন্দ্র সদন-নন্দন চত্বরে উদ্বোধন হবে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ চারুকলা উত্সব ২০১৬-র। সূচনা করবেন বিখ্যাত চিত্রশিল্পী তথা রাজ্যসভার সদস্য যোগেন চৌধুরী। এই উত্সব চলবে ৪ঠা ডিসেম্বর পর্যন্ত।

প্রতি বছরের মতো এবছরেও গগনেন্দ্র শিল্প প্রদর্শনশালা, একাডেমি অফ ফাইন আর্টসে এবং রবীন্দ্র সদন-নন্দন চত্বরে খোলা আকাশের নিচে এই উত্সব চলবে।

এই উত্সবে বিভিন্ন শিল্পকলার প্রদর্শনী, তথ্যচিত্র প্রদর্শনী থাকবে। আয়োজিত হবে একটি মেলাও যেখানে বিভিন্ন শিল্পীরা মিলিত হতে পারবেন।

পশ্চিমবঙ্গ তথ্য ও সংস্কৃতি দপ্তর ও পশ্চিমবঙ্গ চারুকলা একাডেমির উদ্যোগে পরিচালিত এই উত্সব জনপ্রিয়তার শিখরে পৌঁছে গেছে কারণ এখানে সারা রাজ্যের অসামান্য শিল্পীরা তাদের অসামান্য কিছু শিল্পশৈলীর প্রদর্শন করার সুযোগ পান।

Bengal Govt felicitates mountaineers with Radhanath Sikdar-Tenzing Norgay Adventure Award

The State Youth Services Department, organised an award distribution ceremony to confer the Radhanath Sikdar-Tenzing Norgay Award and Chhanda Gayen Bravery Award to successful mountaineers on Wednesday at Moulali Yuba Kendra, Kolkata.

Eleven climbers from Bengal were awarded these prestigious awards on that day for their outstanding achievement in the field of adventure this year.

The Bengal Government introduced Radhanath Sikdar-Tenzing Norgay Award in 2013 to motivate young mountaineers. It is considered as the highest state level award in the field of adventure. Chhanda Gayen Bravery Award has also been introduced by the State Government for outstanding achievement for female in the field of adventure.

At this programme, 50 organizations promoting mountaineering as an adventure sport were provided with financial aid. The State Minister for Youth Services said that the Government is always promote adventure sports and declared that it has already distributed Rs 2 crore to as aid for mountaineering expeditions.

এভারেস্টজয়ীদের সংবর্ধনা দিল রাজ্য সরকার

গতকাল মৌলালি যুব কেন্দ্রে এবছরের এভারেস্ট জয়ীদের হাতে ‘রাধানাথ শিকদার তেনজিং নোরগে অ্যাডভেঞ্চার অ্যাওয়ার্ড’ তুলে দিল রাজ্য যুবকল্যাণ দপ্তর।

এ বছর ১১ জন পর্বতারোহীকে তাদের সাহসিকতা ও অসামান্য কৃতিত্বের জন্য পুরস্কৃত করা হল।

২০১৩ সালে তরুণ পর্বতারোহণকারীদের উত্সাহ প্রদান করতে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকার রাধানাথ সিকদার-তেনজিং নোরগে পুরস্কারের সূচনা করেন। রাজ্যস্তরে পর্বতারোহণের ক্ষেত্রে এটি সর্বোচ্চ পুরস্কার। মহিলা পর্বতারোহণকারীদের দুঃসাহসিক অবদানকে স্বীকৃতি দিতে ছন্দা গায়েন সাহসিকতা পুরস্কারের সূচনা করেন রাজ্য সরকার।

এই অনুষ্ঠানে ৫০টি ক্লাবকে অর্থসাহায্য দেওয়া হয়েছে। রাজ্যের যুব কল্যাণ মন্ত্রী জানান, রাজ্য সরকার এদের সবরকমভাবে সাহায্য করবে। ইতিমধ্যেই রাজ্য সরকার পর্বতারোহণের জন্য ২ কোটি টাকা অনুদান দিয়েছে।

HIDCO to launch Smart City New Town app

A brand new ‘Smart City New Town app’ will be launched to ensure residents and visitors of New Town get easy access of locations and keep track of events and services. The app will be developed by West Bengal Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation (HIDCO) – the organisation which plans and executes development projects in New Town.

Selected among the Smart Cities in the list rolled out by the Union Ministry of Urban Development, New Town has been a major point of attraction for tourists across the nation and world. The app will provide citizens and tourists in New Town information about all the places of interest, along with relevant details of those places.

Using the app, user can locate any address, view bus schedules, and buy books from the digital library. They will also be able to book tables and cottages at Cafe Ekante. Through the app, users can also listen to ‘audio tours’ about various places of interest. All the features have been mentioned in the app.

Authorities said that the idea is to have a mobile app to spread awareness among the residents and outsiders about the various happening places in New Town, locations of those places, guides to reach there, information about the events happening at places like Eco Park, Rabindra Tirtha, Nazrul Tirtha and many others.

Meanwhile, many services in New Town have now been digitised. Payment for many products and services can now be done via e-wallets. The demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes by the Centre, fortunately, did not disrupt many services in New Town and tourists were at ease. HIDCO officials said that debit and credit cards are accepted through POS (point of sale) machines at places like Cafe Ekante, New Town Business Club, Nazrul Tirtha and Mother’s Wax Museum.

A popular show booking website enables visitors to buy tickets for movies at Nazrul Tirtha and theatres in Rabindra Tirtha. Moreover, a major e-wallet company is operational at Eco Park, Mother’s Wax Museum, Cafe Ekante and Nazrul Tirtha. Tourists can even book Ekante Cottages through its website and transfer payments through internet banking.

The New Town Kolkata Development Authority (NKDA) is planning to make available all applications for the 100 residential plots online, and provide net-banking facility for depositing application money. Besides, payment to several agencies is being done through the real-time gross settlement systems (RTGS) and other net-banking options. For the Smart City New Town app, various other developments will be incorporated. The app can be downloaded in Android and iOS devices.

একটি নতুন “স্মার্ট সিটি নিউটাউন এপ্লিকেশন” উদ্বোধন করা হবে যার মাধ্যমে নিউটাউনে বসবাসকারী ও আগন্তুকরা সব জায়গা সহজে চিনতে পারেন ও ওই অঞ্চলে কখন কোথায় কি অনুষ্ঠান ও কর্মসূচি চলছে, তার হদিস পেতে পারেন। নিউটাউনের উন্নয়নে নিযুক্ত সংস্থা, হিডকো এই এপ্লিকেশনটি তৈরী করবে।

কেন্দ্রীয় নগরোন্নয়ন মন্ত্রকের তৈরী করা স্মার্ট সিটির তালিকাভুক্ত নিউটউন ইতিমধ্যেই দেশ ও বিদেশের মানুষদের মধ্যে প্রভূত সাড়া ফেলেছে। এই এপ্প্লিকেশনটি এটির ব্যবহারকারীদের নিউটাউনের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ জায়গাগুলি ও সেই জায়গাটির ব্যাপারে খবরাখবর দেবে।

এর মাধ্যমে যেকোনো ঠিকানা খোঁজা যাবে, বাসের গতিপথ জানা যাবে, ডিজিটাল গ্রন্থাগার থেকে বই কেনা যাবে। কাফে একান্তেতে তারা তাদের টেবিল বা কটেজ বুক করতে পারবেন। উত্সাহীরা বিভিন্ন জায়গার ব্যাপারে বিশদ বর্ণনা পেয়ে যাবেন অডিওর মাধ্যমে।

কর্তৃপক্ষ জানান এই এপ্লিকেশনটি তৈরী করার উদ্দেশ্য হল ওখানকার বাসিন্দা ও আগন্তুকদের বিভিন্ন আকর্ষণীয় স্থান ও সেখানে যাওয়ার রাস্তা বাতলাতে, ইকো পার্ক, রবীন্দ্র তীর্থ, নজরুল তীর্থ ও বিভিন্ন জায়গায় নানা রকম অনুষ্ঠানের আগাম খবর দিতে।

ইতিমধ্যেই নিউ টাউনের অনেক পরিষেবা কম্পিউটারে নথিভুক্ত করা হয়েছে, যেখানে উপভোক্তারা তাদের ইন্টারনেট ব্যাংকিংয়ের মাধ্যমে মূল্য দিতে পারবেন। কেন্দ্রের নোট বাতিলের সিদ্ধান্তের ফলে সারা দেশবাসী ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হলেও ভাগ্যক্রমে এই অঞ্চলের মানুষরা পরিষেবা পেতে বিশেষ বঞ্চিত হচ্ছেন না। হিডকো কর্তৃপক্ষ জানান, ডেবিট ও ক্রেডিট কার্ড কাফে একান্তে, নিউটাউন ব্যবসায়ী ক্লাব, নজরুল তীর্থ, মাদার্স ওয়াক্স মিউজিয়ামের মত সব জায়গাতেই গ্রহণ করা হচ্ছে।

একটি জনপ্রিয় অনুষ্ঠানের টিকিট বুক করার ওয়েবসাইটে রবীন্দ্র তীর্থে বিভিন্ন থিয়েটারের ও নজরুল তীর্থর বিভিন্ন সিনেমার টিকিট বুক করার সুবিধে দিচ্ছে। একটি বিখ্যাত ইন্টারনেট ব্যাঙ্কিং সংস্থা ইকো পার্ক, মাদার্স ওয়াক্স মিউজিয়াম, কাফে একান্তে, নজরুল তীর্থ সব জায়গাতেই আগন্তুকদের সুবিদার্থে উপস্থিত থাকছে। পর্যটকরা ওই কোম্পানিটির ওয়েবসাইটের মাধ্যমে টাকা পাঠিয়ে কাফে একান্তেতে তাদের কটেজও অগ্রিম বুক করতে পারেন।

নিউটাউন কলকাতা উন্নয়ন পর্ষদ পরিকল্পনা করছে, ওখানে পাওয়া যাবে এমন জমির খবর ওই এপ্প্লিকেশনটিতে অন্তর্ভুক্ত করার, সঙ্গে আবেদন পত্র ও আবেদন পত্রের মূল্যও যাতে ইন্টারনেট ব্যাংকিংয়ের মাধ্যমে ওই এপ্লিকেশনটির দ্বারা জমা করা যায়। বিভিন্ন সংস্থাকে আর্টিজিএস ও অন্য ইন্টারনেট ব্যাঙ্কিং সংস্থার মাধ্যমেও অর্থ প্রদান করা যাবে। এই এপ্প্লিকেশনটিতে আরো অনেক সুবিধে থাকবে। সকল স্মার্ট ফোনেই এই এপ্প্লিকেশনটি ব্যবহার করা যাবে।

53 gram panchayats in Birbhum to be declared Nirmal Gram Panchayats on Nov 30

Birbhum district administration will declare 53 gram panchayats as “Nirmal gram panchayat” on November 30. This was announced on Wednesday by the DM. These gram panchayats are situated in 19 blocks where toilets have been built in every house.

Four panchayats are situated in Bolpur block while Ilambazar and Labpur blocks have four gram panchayats each. The construction of toilets in five gram panchayats under Suri blocks I and II has been completed. Apart from these, toilets are ready in Dubrajpur, Khoirasole, Rajnagar, Rampurhat and Mayureshwar blocks. Out of 167 gram panchayats in the district construction of toilets in 53 gram panchayats are ready and they would be declared Nirmal Gram panchayats on November 30.

Nadia was the country’s first district which was declared Open Defecation Free by the Centre. The other districts that have been declared ODF are East Midnapore, Hooghly and North 24 Parganas. Work has been taken up on a war footing to declare Burdwan, South 24 Parganas, South and North Dinajpur, Birbhum, Jalpaiguri and Darjeeling ODF in 2017-18.

The State Government has decided to construct toilets in all the village homes by March 2019.

The District Magistrate of Murshidabad said steps had been taken to declare the district as ODF by March, 2017. Campaign has been launched all over the district to create awareness among people against Open Defecation. In the district, blue toilets will be constructed. As the toilets are painted in blue they have been called “blue toilet.” There will be a water storage tank and running water supply. The cost of each blue toilet is Rs 13,000.

The construction cost of toilets under Nirmal Bangla Mission is Rs 10,900. Of this amount, the State Government gives Rs 10,000 while the remaining Rs 900 is given by the house owner. Campaign has also been launched to create awareness among people about how to use the toilet. In addition to the state government, several NGOs have been involved to create awareness among people.

আগামী ৩০শে নভেম্বর বীরভূমের ৫৩টি গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েত নির্মল গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের স্বীকৃতি পেতে চলেছে

আগামী ৩০শে নভেম্বর বীরভূম জেলা প্রশাসনিক দপ্তর ৫৩টি গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতকে “নির্মল গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েত” হিসেবে ঘোষণা করা হবে, গত বুধবার জানালেন বীরভূমের জেলাশাসক । এই গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতগুলি ১৯টি ব্লকে ছড়িয়ে আছে, এই পঞ্চায়েতের অন্তর্গত সব বাড়িতে শৌচালয় আছে।

বোলপুর, ইলামবাজার ও লাভপুর ব্লকগুলির মধ্যে চারটি করে পঞ্চায়েত পড়ছে। সিউড়ির ১ ও ২ নম্বর ব্লকের অন্তর্গত পাঁচটি গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতে বাথরুম তৈরির কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে। এগুলো ছাড়া দুবরাজপুর, খয়রাশোল, রাজনগর, রামপুরহাট ও ময়ূরেশ্বর ব্লকেরও সব শৌচালয় তৈরী হয়ে গেছে। মোট ১৬৭টি গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েত বিশিষ্ট বীরভূম জেলায় ৫৩টি পঞ্চায়েতে সমস্ত শৌচালয় তৈরী, যারা নির্মল গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের স্বীকৃতি পেতে চলেছে আগামী ৩০ তারিখ।

কেন্দ্রের স্বীকৃতি পাওয়া নদীয়া জেলা দেশের মধ্যে প্রথম জেলা যেখানে সব ঘরে বাথরুম উপস্থিত। বাকি নির্মল জেলাগুলির মধ্যে আছে উত্তর ২৪ পরগনা, মেদিনীপুর ও হুগলী। যুদ্ধকালীন তত্পরতায় বর্ধমান, দক্ষিন ২৪ পরগনা, উত্তর ও দক্ষিন দিনাজপুর, বীরভূম, জলপাইগুড়ি ও দার্জিলিং জেলাকে ২০১৭-১৮র মধ্যে নির্মল জেলা করে তোলার কাজ চলছে।

রাজ্য সরকার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে ২০১৯ সালের মার্চ মাসের মধ্যে সকল গ্রামের সকল ঘরে বাথরুম তৈরী করার।

মুর্শিদাবাদের জেলাশাসক জানিয়েছেন ২০১৭ সালের মার্চ মাসের মধ্যে তাঁর জেলাকেও এই আওতায় আনার সকল প্রস্তুতি তাঁরা নিয়েছেন। উন্মুক্ত স্থানে শৌচকার্য করায় কত ধরণের সমস্যা আছে, তা জনসাধারণকে বোঝাতে তারা পথে পথে সচেতনতা কেন্দ্র চালিয়ে যাচ্ছেন। নীল রং করা এই শৌচালয়গুলোকে “নীল শৌচালয়” বলা হচ্ছে। এই শৌচালয়গুলোর মধ্যে জল ধরে রাখার জন্য ট্যাঙ্কের সঙ্গে সঙ্গে সারাদিন জলের যোগান থাকবে। একেকটি নীল শৌচালয় খরচ ১৩,০০০ টাকার মতো।

নির্মল বাংলা প্রকল্পে প্রতিটি শৌচালয়ের খরচ ধরা হয়েছে ১০,৯০০ টাকা। এই টাকার মধ্যে রাজ্য সরকার দিচ্ছে ১০,০০০ টাকা ও বাকি ৯০০ টাকা দেবে বাড়ির মালিক। এই নীল শৌচালয় কিভাবে ব্যবহার করা উচিত, সেই ব্যাপারেও সচেতনতা বাড়ানো হচ্ছে জনসাধারণের মধ্যে। রাজ্য সরকারের পাশাপাশি বিভিন্ন স্বেচ্ছাসেবী সংস্থাও এই জনচেতনা বাড়ানোর কাজে সরকারের সঙ্গে হাত মিলিয়েছে।

Thousands join Trinamool rally against demonetisation in Kolkata

Thousands of people from all walks of life on Wednesday joined the rally organised by Trinamool Congress to protest against the hasty and arbitrary decision of the Prime Minister to demonetise high value notes that has caused untold misery to common people.

The rally started from College Square and ended at Dorina crossing and passed through Nirmal Chandra Street, Raja Subodh Mullick Square and SN Banerjee Road to reach the destination.

Senior Trinamool Congress leaders Firhad Hakim, Subrata Bakshi, Subrata Mukherjee, Amit Mitra, Sobhandeb Chatterjee and Sashi Panja led the march.

As the rally progressed, more and more common people including small traders, labourers, auto and rickshaw pullers joined the procession.

নোট বাতিল ইস্যুতে তৃণমূলের মিছিলে মানুষের ঢল

কেন্দ্রীয় সরকারের নোট বাতিল সিদ্ধান্তের প্রতিবাদে বুধবার একটি প্রতিবাদ মিছিলের আয়োজন করেছিল তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস। সর্বস্তরের হাজার হাজার সাধারণ মানুষ এদিন এই মিছিলে যোগদান করেন।

প্রতিবাদ মিছিলটি কলেজ স্কোয়ার থেকে শুরু হয়ে নির্মলচন্দ্র স্ট্রিট, রাজা সুবোধ মল্লিক স্কোয়ার এবং এস এন ব্যানার্জি রোড হয়ে শেষ হয় ডোরিনা ক্রসিং-এ।

Country not in safe hands under Modi: Mamata Banerjee at Jantar Mantar

Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, backed by JD-U, SP, NCP and AAP, Wednesday held a demonstration against demonetisation in Delhi and ramped up attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, alleging the country was not safe in his hands.

Addressing the gathering at Jantar Mantar, Banerjee alleged that abolition of high-value currency notes had heaped pain on people and snatched away democratic rights of almost every section of the society including farmers, youth, women, labourers and traders, besides halting the country’s economic growth.

Accusing the BJP-led dispensation of “looting” the common man, she wondered why those having Swiss bank accounts were “not touched at all”, and warned that people will teach a “good lesson” to the ruling party in the upcoming assembly polls for implementing a “black law”.

“I can challenge that no one will vote for BJP. If I were you (PM), I would have apologised to the public. Why you are so egoistic? You have branded everyone in the country a black marketeer and have yourself turned into a saint ,” Banerjee said.

In his address, JD-U leader Sharad Yadav questioned the legality of the demonetisation exercise and challenged the Prime Minister to explain to the Parliament how the decision will benefit the country.

The street protest was also addressed by SP’s Dharmendra Yadav, AAP’s Raghav Chadha and NCP’s Majid Memon.

Referring to Tuesday’s bypoll results, the TMC chief said BJP’s victory margins have come down significantly in Madhya Pradesh and that Modi has left the country in the lurch (Modiji ne desh ka barah baja diya).”

Didi said she will continue her fight till woes of the people are not addressed, adding she will also support a country-wide protest called by the Opposition parties on November 28 against demonetisation.

“আমি চ্যালেঞ্জ করে বলছি, কেউ আপনাদের ভোট দেবে না। আমি যদি প্রধানমন্ত্রী হতাম, আমি করজোড়ে ক্ষমা চাইতাম জনগণের কাছে। ওনার এত অহংকার কিসের? আপনি দেশের সবাইকে কালোবাজারির তকমা লাগিয়ে দিয়েছেন, আপনি নিজে কি সাধু?” মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় বলেন।

জেডিইউ নেতা শরদ যাদব এই নোটবাতিল সিদ্ধান্তের আইনি বৈধতা নিয়ে প্রশ্ন তোলেন। তিনি প্রধানমন্ত্রীকে সংসদে এসে বিমুদ্রিকরণ নিয়ে বিবৃতি দিতে বলেন।

আজ ধর্নায় সপার ধর্মেন্দ্র যাদব, আপের রাঘব চাড্ডা ও এনসিপির মজিদ মেমন, পিএনএসের অখিলেশ কাটিয়ারও বক্তব্য রাখেন।

In conversation with Sudip Bandyopadhyay, Leader of the party in Lok Sabha

1. Trinamool have been in the forefront of the movement against demonetisation. How did Mamata Banerjee react so correctly and so fast after the announcement?

Sudip Bandyopadhyay: The moment you are asking me this question, I am watching the results of three bypolls in Bengal. What a massive victory. She enjoys the support of the people. I believe, Mamata Banerjee is the only leader in the whole country who can gauge the pulse of the people.

Mamata Banerjee was the first person to raise her voice against the draconian decision of demonetisation. And now, as we can see, several Opposition parties have come together to protest on this matter of national importance.

2. More than a dozen parties are in a dharna tomorrow at Gandhi statue outside Parliament. What is the objective?

Sudip Bandyopadhyay: We want to expose the government. In the name of a good cause (curbing the use of black money) they have hastily and shoddily implemented the demonetisation of 500 and 1000 rupees notes.

The downtrodden people of the society – the farmers, the labourers, tea garden workers, jute mill workers among others – are suffering. The common people have been severely affected. It is unimaginable. People are forced to stand in queues to collect their own money from banks and ATMs.

3. You spoke in Lok Sabha today. Please update us what happened in the Lower House.

Sudip Bandyopadhyay: I categorically demanded to know why the government is not ready for a discussion on demonetisation under adjournment motion. I requested the Hon. Speaker to rise to the occasion. Even the MPs of AIADMK supported the demand for discussion under adjournment motion.

There is unequivocal support for the adjournment motion. This is on record on the floor of the House. Normally the support of 50 MPs is required for an adjournment motion. Right now, almost double the number of MPs want a discussion under adjournment motion. I fail to understand why it is not being allowed. In my long experience as a lawmaker, I have never seen this kind of a situation.

4. With due respect to the Constitutional position of Lok Sabha Speaker, we have observed that the Lok Sabha Speaker normally does not like to adjourn the House even if people are in the well. This time we noticed she is adjourning the House quite easily. Why do you think so?

Sudip Bandyopadhyay: The impression we have gathered is that the government is building pressure on the Speaker. They have a positive role to play in the House, which they have failed to do. When people are suffering and many lives have been lost, it is incumbent on the Parliament to hold a discussion. It is the responsibility of the government to see that the House runs properly.

In this situation, only Mamata Banerjee’s movement is showing us a ray of hope.

Today several Opposition leaders met and decided to hold joint protests tomorrow near the Gandhi statue outside Parliament. Our leader and Hon. Chief Minister of Bengal, Mamata Banerjee has extended her full support to these protests.

5. One last question. Opposition parties are joining the protests tomorrow. What is the message do you want to give through these protests?

Sudip Bandyopadhyay: The government must have a much broader outlook while dealing with demonetisation. We believe sustained protests will bring results. Tomorrow is just a beginning. The instruction from our leader Mamata Banerjee is that whichever political party sends us a proposal to launch a movement against demonetisation, Trinamool Congress will try to stand by them and extend all possible help and support.

Trinamool sweeps bypolls, Bengal reaffirms faith on Mamata

Trinamool Congress swept the bypolls held for the Tamluk and Coochbehar Lok Sabha constituencies and the Monteswar Assembly constituency. Polling was conducted at these constituencies on November 19.

Trinamool won the Monteshwar Assembly seat by a margin 1,27,127 votes. The party won Tamluk Lok Sabha seat by a margin of 4,97,525 votes and Cooch Behar by a margin of 4,13,231 votes.

“This is a verdict against the Tughlaqi Govt at Centre. This is a verdict in favour of mass protests against demonetisation,” Trinamool Chairperson Mamata Banerjee said.

The by-election in Cooch Behar was necessitated by the death of TMC MP Renuka Sinha while the by-election in Tamluk in Purba Medinipur district was caused by the resignation of MP Suvendu Adhikari who joined the state cabinet as transport minister. The by-polls to Monteswar Assembly seat in Burdwan district is due to death of TMC MLA Sajal Panja.

১৯শে নভেম্বর হয়ে যাওয়া ২টি লোকসভা ও ১টি বিধানসভা আসনে উপনির্বাচনে দাপটের সঙ্গে জয়লাভ করলো তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস।

মন্তেশ্বর আসনে ১,২৭,১২৭ ভোটে জয়লাভ করেন তৃণমূল প্রার্থী। তমলুক আসনে তৃণমূলের জয়ের ব্যবধান ৪,৯৭,৫২৫ ভোট। কুচবিহার কেন্দ্রে তৃণমূল ৪,১৩,২৩১ ভোটে জয়লাভ করেন।

“মানুষের এই রায় গণ বিদ্রোহের রায়। নোট বাতিলের বিরুদ্ধে এই রায়। কেন্দ্রের তুঘলকি সিদ্ধান্তের বিরুদ্ধে এই রায়,” প্রতিক্রিয়া মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের।

কুচবিহারের তৃণমূল সাংসদ রেণুকা সিনহার আকস্মিক মৃত্যুতে ওই আসনটি খালি হয়ে গেছিল। পূর্ব মেদিনীপুরের তমলুক কেন্দ্রের সাংসদ শুভেন্দু অধিকারী, ২০১৬-র বিধানসভা ভোটে জিতে রাজ্য মন্ত্রিসভায় যোগ দেওয়ার পর ওই আসনটিও খালি হয়ে যায়। মন্তেশ্বর বিধানসভা কেন্দ্রের বিধায়ক সজল পাঁজার আকস্মিক মৃত্যুতে ওই কেন্দ্রটিও খালি হয়।

Bengal to be divided into two more administrative divisions

The state government on Monday decided to set up two more administrative divisions and to have districts under each division to be restructured.

Partha Chatterjee, state Parliamentary Affairs and Education minister, said that the decision to set up two more divisions, namely Malda and Midnapore, was taken in Monday’s Cabinet meeting considering that it would ensure better implementation and monitoring of projects.

So far, there are three administrative divisions in the state – Burdwan, Jalpaiguri and Presidency. There were seven districts each under Burdwan and Jalpaiguri division and six under Presidency division.

With the formation of two more administrative divisions, there will be only three to four districts under each division. Under the newly formed Malda division, Murshidabad, Malda, North and South Dinajpur districts will be included. Four districts – Bankura, Purulia, East and West Midnapore – will come under the other newly formed Midnapore division.

Kolkata, Howrah, Nadia, North and South 24-Parganas will fall under Presidency division, with its headquarters in Kolkata. There will be three districts – Burdwan, Hooghly and Birbhum – under the Burdwan division. Burdwan division’s headquarters is in Hooghly’s Chinsurah. Jalpaiguri will have four districts under its jurisdiction, namely Darjeeling, Alipurduar, Jalpaiguri and Cooch Behar.

Each of the division is headed by a divisional commissioner. For this purpose, divisional commissioners of both Malda and Midnapore divisions will be posted soon.

Meanwhile, the Cabinet has also taken the decision to increase the annual grant under Sikshashree scheme for schedule caste (SC) students from Class V to VII.

Students of all the three classes will be getting Rs 750 every year. Previously, an SC boy studying in Class V used to get Rs 500 every year, while a class VI and VII student used to get Rs 650 and Rs 700 every year.

প্রশাসনিক কাজের সুবিধার জন্য আরও ২টি নতুন ডিভিশন তৈরির সিদ্ধান্ত নিল রাজ্য মন্ত্রিসভা।

সোমবার শিক্ষামন্ত্রী পার্থ চট্টোপাধ্যায় জানান, মালদা ও মেদিনীপুর নামে ২টি ডিভিশন তৈরির সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়েছে। সব ক’‌টি ডিভিশন পুনর্বিন্যস্ত করা হয়েছে। যেমন, প্রেসিডেন্সির অধীনে উত্তর ও দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগনা, নদীয়া, হাওড়া ও কলকাতা। সদর দপ্তর কলকাতা। বর্ধমান ডিভিশনে বর্ধমান, হুগলি ও বীরভূম। সদর দপ্তর চুঁচুড়া।

মেদিনীপুর ডিভিশনে পূর্ব ও পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর, বাঁকুড়া ও পুরুলিয়া। সদর দপ্তর মেদিনীপুর। মুর্শিদাবাদ, উত্তর ও দক্ষিণ দিনাজপুর নিয়ে তৈরি হচ্ছে মালদা ডিভিশন। নতুন জেলা আলিপুরদুয়ার, জলপাইগুড়ি, কোচবিহার ও দার্জিলিং নিয়ে জলপাইগুড়ি ডিভিশন।

কাজের সুবিধার জন্য এবং নজরদারি আরও ভালভাবে চালাতে এই সিদ্ধান্ত। নতুন দু’‌জন ডিভিশনাল কমিশনার পাওয়া যাবে। রাজ্যে আইন–শৃঙ্খলা পরিস্থিতি সামলাতে ৫টি ডি আই জি রেঞ্জ রয়েছে। ফলে ৫টি ডিভিশন হলে আরও সমন্বয় রেখে কাজ হবে। কাজের গতি আরও বাড়াতে এই প্রশাসনিক সংস্কারের এটি প্রথম ধাপ ডিভিশের সংখ্যা বাড়ানো।

প্রসঙ্গত, রাজ্যের সব ক’‌টি দপ্তরকে পুনর্বিন্যাস করার জন্য চিন্তাভাবনা চলছে। এক দপ্তরের সঙ্গে অন্য দপ্তরের কাজের মিল রয়েছে, যেমন কৃষি এবং কৃষি বিপণন দপ্তরের কাজ অনেকটা একই ধরণের। সেক্ষেত্রে তাদের মিলিয়ে একটি দপ্তর তৈরি করলে কাজের গতি আরও বাড়বে এবং কাজের আরও সুবিধা হবে।‌‌
