WB CM launches Sabuj Sathi projects for Uttar and Dakshin Dinajpur today

In two separate programmes covering two districts West Bengal Chief Minister Ms Mamata Banerjee launched the historic Sabuj Sathi projects in the Uttar and Dakshin Dinajpur today.
The West Bengal Chief Minister was present at a Government programme at Dharampur, Goalpokhar Block – I, Uttar Dinajpur at around 11:15 AM today and will inaugurate and lay foundation stones of a bouquet of projects. She distributed a rage of benefits and services including cycles of Sabuj Sathi to the students and Gatidhara.
Among the projects unveiled today at Uttar Dinajpur are 100% rural electrification in the district, new schools, motels (Pather Sathi, Krishak Bazars, girl’s hostel, new roads, flood and cyclone centres and other such completed projects.
The West Bengal Chief Minister laid foundation stones of a cluster of projects ranging from Karma Tirthas to food preservation godowns. She also distributed cycles for the Sabuj Sathi project among students besides benefits like Kisan Credit Cards, PSY, PSP, SVSKP, Geetanjali and others.
In the late noon, at around 12:45 PM, the West Bengal Chief Minister traveled to Dakshin Dinajpur where she addressed another Government programme and launched the Sabuj Sathi Scheme for the district from Bagh It in Tapan.
Among the projects that were inaugurated today at Dakshin Dinajpur by the Chief Minister are the Hili Subal Chandra Bimal Sundari Government College, a circuit House in Buniadpur, relief centres, girl’s hostels, upgraded primary health centre and a cluster of other projects.
The Chief Minister today laid foundation stones for a bouquet of projects for South Dinajpur including Commercial Development Centres under Hand-loom Development projects, Krishi Bhavan, Balurghat youth hostel, road projects and drinking water supply projects.
Besides distributing bi-cycles to the students under Sabuj Sathi scheme, the Chief Minister handed out benefits like Kanyashree, Sikshsashree, SVSKP, MSY, Kisan Credit Cards and many more.
