WB CM announces several benefits for state government employees

West Bengal Chief Minister Ms Mamata Banerjee today announced several benefits for state government employees during a convention of the West Bengal State Government Employees’ Federation at Netaji Indoor Stadium.

The Chief Minister announced that government employees will receive 10% DA in January, 2016. She also announced that the government will form 6th Pay Commission which will work from 1 January 2016 till 31 Dec, 2025.

WB CM announced the formation of a Group of Ministers, headed by Finance Minister Dr Amit Mitra, for coordination with government employees.

She also announced that the government has decided widen the benefit of home travel concession. You will get benefit every five years.

State government employees will get LTC every ten years and can travel to Travel to Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Nepal, Bhutan, Pakistan, Maldives and Sri Lanka.

Accusing the Congress and BJP of not helping Bengal with even a single penny, WB CM said she is working for the people despite financial hurdles. She also slammed the CPM for ruining the economy of the State.

Congratulating everyone for ensuring 93% attendance in Kolkata and 98% attendance in districts on bandh day, WB CM also announced that those who worked on bandh day will get a compensatory leave.
