WB CM launches Egiye Bangla, the new-look portal of West Bengal Government
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today launched the new look of the official portal of the West Bengal Government, Egiye Bangla.
The Banglar Mukh portal was primarily information-centric. This new portal, Egiye Bangla, would provide information as well as be an enabler of business activities. Not only would citizens be able to glean information related to the different departments of the West Bengal Government from this portal, through it they would also be able to apply online to some of the Government’s services. The list of such services, which can be applied for online, would be expanded gradually.
The list of services which can be accessed from the new portal include: data related to the State Government’s activities, important advertisements, contact information of departments and their senior officials, links to portals of the departments and access to their online services, latest news related to all aspects of the State Government, citizen-centric activities undertaken by the State Government, tourism in West Bengal, industry, and other important initiatives like Biswa Bangla. Besides these, curated photo and video galleries of all developmental projects can be accessed through the portal.
The West Bengal Government has also expanding its presence on social media channels. The Twitter account and Facebook page of Egiye Bangla would help citizens and the State Government reach out to each other in a fast, hassle-free and effective manner. The YouTube page would give access to all sorts of activities of the Government.

এগিয়ে বাংলা ওয়েবসাইট এর উদ্বোধন করলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী
পশ্চিমবঙ্গের মাননীয়া মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় আজ পশ্চিমবঙ্গ রাজ্যের নতুন পোর্টাল ‘এগিয়ে বাংলা’ –র উদ্বোধন করলেন। আগে বাংলার মুখ পোর্টালটি প্রাথমিকভাবে তথ্যভিত্তিক ছিল।
নাগরিকরা এই পোর্টাল থেকে রাজ্য সরকারের নানা বিভাগ সংক্রান্ত বিভিন্ন তথ্য পাবেন। যেমন – রাজ্য সংক্রান্ত পরিসংখ্যান, গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিজ্ঞপ্তি, দরপত্র, সব বিভাগ ও তাদের শীর্ষপদাধিকারিকদের সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ সংক্রান্ত তথ্য, বিভিন্ন বিভাগের ওয়েব পোর্টালের সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ ও বৈদ্যুতিন পরিষেবার সম্ভার, সর্বশেষ গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ঘটনাবলি, নাগরিক কল্যাণে রাজ্য সরকারের গৃহীত নানা প্রকল্প, পর্যটন, শিল্প ও বিশ্ব বাংলা উদ্যোগের মতো গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ক্ষেত্রের সঙ্গে যোগাযোগের তথ্য ইত্যাদি।
এছাড়া, বিভিন্ন সরকারি দপ্তরের কিছু পরিষেবার জন্য বৈদ্যুতিন পদ্ধতিতে আবেদন করতে পারবেন নাগরিকরা।

টুইটার, ফেসবুক, ইউটিউব এর মাধ্যমে সরকারের সমস্ত উন্নয়নমূলক উদ্যোগের সন্ধান পাবেন।
মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর ই-গভর্ন্যান্স এর সমস্ত উদ্যোগ সফল করার জন্য এই পোর্টাল এক নতুন পদক্ষেপ।
