WB CM felicitates Board exam toppers

West Bengal Chief Minister Ms. MamataBanerjee felicitated those who have done well in Madhyamik and the HigherSecondary exams at a programme in Town Hall.
The students had been awarded prizes – alaptop, a watch and a packet of sweets. The Chief Minister spoke to thestudents, going up to each of them, for over an hour. Altogether 54 studentswho have passed Madhyamik and 28 who have passed the HS were felicitated.
“Always think positive, keep your mind calmand cool. The opportunities and resources students get today are much more thanwhat was there during our times. The current generation of students are thefuture of the country. I am sure they will make the country proud” she said.
WB CM also shared the 4 D`s of success withthe students – Discipline, Dedication, Devotion and Determination.
“Our students are getting good marks nowbut they stop at 96 or 97, while students from other boards score 100 out of100. Nowadays, even one or two marks matter a lot. In an objective test, ifstudents give right answers they should get full marks” the Chief Minister said.
