Trinamool observes 18th Foundation Day
Trinamool Congress was founded on January 1, 1998. For 18 long years, the party has always been with the people, standing beside them in any time of need. From mass people’s movements to the struggle for establishing democracy in Bengal, Trinamool has always served the Maa, Mati, Manush. After coming to power in 2011, the party has extensively worked for the all-round development of the State.
The 18th foundation Day today is being observed across West Bengal. Not only did the party hoist flags at the headquarters in Kolkata, but also every party office in every block of West Bengal marked the occasion by hoisting the party flag.
The 18th Foundation Day will mark different social activities taken up by the party leadership in different areas. The party has organised blood donation camps, distribution of woolen blankets to the poor, and other activities to observe the Foundation Day.
As we celebrate the foundation day of the party, we also remember all those who sacrificed everything for us to reach here.

তৃণমূলের ১৮তম প্রতিষ্ঠা দিবস
১৯৯৮ সালের ১ জানুয়ারি তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়েছিল। গত ১৮ বছর ধরে দল সর্বদা মানুষের সাথে থেকেছে, সবরকম প্রয়োজনে মানুষের পাশে থেকেছে।বাংলায় গণতন্ত্র প্রতিষ্ঠার থেকে জনআন্দোলন সবক্ষেত্রেই মা-মাটি-মানুষের পাশে থেকেছে তৃণমূল। ২০১১ সালে ক্ষমতায় আসার পর থেকে রাজ্যের সার্বিক উন্নয়নের জন্যও দল অনেক কাজ করছে।
পশ্চিমবঙ্গে রাজ্য জুড়ে এই ১৮তম প্রতিষ্ঠা দিবস পালিত হচ্ছে। শুধুমাত্র কলকাতার সদর দপ্তরে নয় পশ্চিমবঙ্গের সব ব্লকের সমস্ত পার্টি অফিসেই পতাকা উত্তোলন করা হয়েছে এই অনুষ্ঠানকে কেন্দ্র করে।
১৮তম প্রতিষ্ঠা দিবস উপলক্ষে বিভিন্ন এলাকায় দলের নেতৃত্বরা বিভিন্ন সামাজিক কাজকর্ম করবেন। এই উপলক্ষে পার্টি রক্তদান শিবির, গরীবদের শীতবস্ত্র দান এবং নানারকম সামাজিক কার্যকলাপের আয়োজন করেছে।
যেহেতু আমরা দলের প্রতিষ্ঠা দিবস পালন করছি তাই যারা এই জায়গায় পৌঁছানোর জন্য যারা নিজেদের উতসর্গ করেছে তাদেরও আমাদের স্মরণ করা উচিত।
