Trinamool MP highlights the success of WB govt at United Nations

Trinamool Congress MP in Rajya Sabha, Mr. Nadimul Haque recently addressed a meeting 68th session of the General Council of the United Nations at New York. He was representing the Indian parliamentary delegation.

In his speech, the young MP from Trinamool Congress pointed out the achievements made by the West Bengal Government in the fields of Tourism promotion. He said that the State Government has taken initiative to promote tourism in a magnified way in all the corners, from the Hills to Jangalmahal and from the sea beaches Digha to the jungles of Sundarbans.

After his speech, describing the astound progress made in the state, at the UN, delegates from several countries were interested to visit Bengal and take a firsthand look at the developments made in the state.

His speech on Tourism pointed out the developments made in this sector without creating any disturbance to the eco-system. The Tourism sector is working on both earning revenue as well as generating employment, he pointed out in his speech.

Mr. Haque, in his speech at the UN, detailed how the Chief Minister of the state had been touring all the districts to spread the wave of development. He also pointed out the recent meetings of the world leaders with the West Bengal Chief Minister.
