Total Sufal Bangla stalls to touch 100 by March 2018
The Bengal Government is going to open 100 Sufal Bangla stalls in Kolkata by March 2018. Currently, there are 47 such outlets in Kolkata – 12 static and 35 mobile.
Vegetables at these stalls are available at fair prices and so are affordable for a much larger population. Hence, the State Agriculture Marketing Department is making this move to augment the number of stalls.
The department is also planning to increase the number of stalls all across the State. Six are coming up in north Bengal this December – two each in Jalpaiguri and Siliguri, and one each in Cooch Behar and Alipurduar.

২০১৮ সালের মার্চ মাসের মধ্যেই রাজ্যে সুফল বাংলা কেন্দ্রের সংখ্যা বেড়ে হবে ১০০টি। এই মুহূর্তে, কলকাতায় ৪৭টি (১২টি স্থায়ী ও ৩৫টি মোবাইল) সুফল বাংলা কেন্দ্র আছে।
রাজ্য কৃষি বিপণন দপ্তর এই পরিষেবার পরিধি আরও একটু বাড়াতে চাইছে। স্থায়ী দোকানের সংখ্যাও বাড়ানোর পরিকল্পনা দপ্তরের। ডিসেম্বর মাসেই ৬টি সুফল বাংলা কেন্দ্র খুলছে উত্তরবঙ্গে – জলপাইগুড়িতে ২টি, শিলিগুড়িতে ২টি ও কোচবিহার এবং আলিপুরদুয়ারে একটি করে।
সুফল বাংলা কেন্দ্রগুলিতে তাজা শাক-সব্জি ন্যায্য মুল্যে পাওয়া যায়; দাম একেবারেই জনসাধারণের নাগালের মধ্যে। এই দোকানগুলির জনপ্রিয়তাও বিপুল।
