Singur experienced a developmental wave under Didi
Singur has seen a wave of developmental change since Mamata Banerjee became the Chief Minister of Bengal. One of the first things that the Trinamool Government under Mamata Banerjee did was to take up the legal processes to return the acquired land to the farmers who were forced to give up their lands.
In the meantime, Didi stood beside the farmers and arranged supply of subsidized food grains, rice @Rs 2/Kg for the Singur farmers who had lost their lands.
Now, Singur has changed from what it used to be in 2008. There are no kaccha roads in Singur anymore – they’ve all been metalled. The cycle distribution scheme, Sabuj Sathi has done wonder for school enrollment in the area.
Developmental initiatives for Singur:
- Tapasi Malik Farmers’ Market was inaugurated at Singur in March, 2014
- At present there are 8 outlets of Sufal Bangla, out of which one is in Singur
- A new government degree college with a new building has been set up in Singur
- Recently a bridge has been constructed over river Julapia, numerous such other bridges and rural reads have been constructed
- Local primary health centres and ICDs centres have been reorganized
- Water supply projects taken up and developed
- Students and youths have been brought under schemes like Kanyashree and Yuvashree
দিদির হাত ধরে উন্নয়নের জোয়ার সিঙ্গুরে
মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় বাংলার মুখ্যমন্ত্রী হওয়ার পর সিঙ্গুরের পুরো চিত্রটাই বদলে গেছে। সিঙ্গুরের কৃষকরা যাতে তাদের জমি ফেরত পায় সেজন্য মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের নেতৃত্বাধীন তৃণমূল সরকারই প্রথম আইনি ব্যবস্থা নিয়েছিল।
এর মধ্যে, মুখ্যমন্ত্রী কৃষকদের পাশে দাঁড়িয়েছেন। কৃষকদের জন্য ২ টাকা কেজি দরে খাদ্যশস্যের ব্যবস্থা করেছেন।
২০০৮ সালে সিঙ্গুর যা ছিল তার এখন আমূল পরিবর্তন ঘটেছে, উন্নয়নের জোয়ার এসেছে সিঙ্গুরে। সিঙ্গুরের বেশিরভাগ রাস্তাই এখন পাকা। এলাকার ছাত্রছাত্রীদের সবুজ সাথী প্রকল্পের আওতায় সাইকেল বিতরণ করা হয়েছে।
সিঙ্গুরের জন্য উন্নয়নমূলক উদ্যোগ:
- ২০১৪ সালে সিঙ্গুরে তাপসী মালিক কৃষক বাজারের উদ্বোধন করা হয়।
- বর্তমানে সুফল বাংলার ৮টি আউটলেট রয়েছে যার মধ্যে একটি সিঙ্গুরে অবস্থিত।
- একটি নতুন সরকারি ডিগ্রি কলেজ সিঙ্গুরে স্থাপন করা হয়েছে।
- সম্প্রতি জুলপিয়া নদীর উপর একটি সেতু নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে। এছাড়া অন্যান্য সেতুও নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে।
- স্থানীয় প্রাথমিক স্বাস্থ্যকেন্দ্র এবং আই সি ডি এস সেন্টার পুনর্গঠন করা হয়েছে।
- জল সরবরাহ প্রকল্প গ্রহণ এবং উন্নীতকরণ করা হয়েছে।
- ছাত্র এবং যুবকদের কন্যাশ্রী এবং যুবশ্রী প্রকল্পের আওতায় আনা হয়েছে।
