Saket Gokhale’s supplementary question during Question Hour in Rajya Sabha on the reason(s) for critical mineral blocks not getting auctioned and the remedial measures taken by the government

Sir, she did not submit, I submitted. Sir, the Ministry in the last many months has conducted three rounds of auctions for critical mineral blocks. सर, वेअिभवादन करतेहैं, मैंअपना क्वैश्चन इंोूस तो कँ! In November, 2023, auctions were launched for 20 critical mineral blocks, of these, only 6 blocks have been auctioned because of lack of interest of bidders. In February and March, 2024, in two auctions, 18 critical mineral blocks… ठीक है, सर। 70 सालों मेंकु छ नहीं हुआ था, क्या अब मैंसवाल पूछू ँ? Sir, it is related to critical mineral blocks only. Sir, he is praising the Prime Minister; I do not even get to introduce my question. Sir, if the question is irrelevant, you may dismiss it, but let me finish it at least. No, I want to ask a question, I am not here for praising anybody. I am here to ask a question for the people. My Chief Minister does not need praise here. Sir, I would like to ask specifically and I would like a specific answer. What is the reason for lack of interest from bidders for auctions of critical mineral blocks and what are the steps being taken to encourage interest of bidders for critical mineral blocks which are going unauctioned? In three auctions, there was no interest from bidders. Why is that happening?
