Record Crowd For July 21 Martyr’s Day Rally
A record number of people assembled on the occasion of the Martyrs’ Day organised by All India Trinamool Congress. Estimates suggest that “as many as ten Brigade Parade Grounds would have been filled with today’s gathering”. The huge turnout attended the ceremony in a disciplined manner. The leader, Ms. Mamata Banerjee’s address to the people of West Bengal was moving. The message contained a clear and strong stand on the removal of joint forces from Lalgarh; CPI(M) cadres, in the name of enforcing law are committing inhuman atrocities on people over there. Many new programmes were announced across the State.
