Mamata Banerjee to visit north Bengal today
Chief Minister Ms Mamata Banerjee will be leaving for Siliguri today, for the north Bengal leg of her district tours. She has already conducted over 75 such district visits in the last three years.
WB CM will take stock of various developmental projects and inaugurate new ones during an administrative review meeting at Siliguri.
On December 3, WB CM will inaugurate 15 projects at Jalpaiguri. These include inauguration of the first phase of the Sports Village in Jalpaiguri, bridges, roads, piped water supply projects among other things.
Apart from official meetings, Ms Mamata Banerjee will also participate in a meeting of party workers from the three districts of Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri and Alipurduar. She has already held workshops for party workers for several districts of south Bengal.
