Let us all pledge to build a better Bengal in the future: Mamata Banerjee
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today gave a speech at the State secretariat, Nabanna on the occasion of six years of the formation of the Trinamool Congress Government in Bengal, as well as one year of the formation of the second Trinamool Congress Government.
She also launched a book of achievements, titled Six Years of Poriborton.
In her speech, Mamata Banerjee listed the achievements of her Government, and also held out on the fact that some aspects of her governance have been taken up as a model by the Central Government.
She also flagged off 53 air-conditioned ambulances.
Salient features of her speech:
- Last year on this day I had received a Guard of Honour from the police here in Nabanna. It was like a homecoming.
- We could have celebrated the anniversary of our Government in a luxurious and grand manner like the others.
- An auditorium is coming up at Nabanna for meetings and programmes.
- My best wishes to the police and Government employees who organised the blood donation camp today.
- There is a shortage of blood during summer; 16,000 police workers donated blood in the last one week.
- I requested Trinamool workers to organise blood donation camps from today till the first week of June.
- 66,000 bottles of blood will be collected during the blood donation drive.
- I do not believe in making speeches. It is neither my profession nor my passion.
- For the next one month several social programmes will be held all over the State.
- Evidence speaks for itself. We have released a book listing the work done by our Government during the last six years.
- We are setting up 42 multi super-speciality hospitals, 307 SNSUs, 70 HDUs.
- We have set up 117 fair price diagnostic centres, 119 fair price medicine shops, 16 medical colleges.
- We have set up over 100 police stations, over 60 women’s police station, 88 fast track courts.
- We have given 40 lakh Kanyashree scholarships, 70 lakh Sabuj Sathi bicycles, 35 lakh Shikshashree scholarships.
- 2 lakh youths have received financial assistance under Yuvashree.
- We have given 3 lakh land pattas, 1.1 crore minority scholarships.
- From tea gardens to Jangalmahal to the Hills – we have included nearly 9 crore people under Khadya Sathi.
- Bengal is number one in skill development and MSME. We have received the Krishi Karman Award five years in a row.
- Despite a huge debt burden, we have always paid the salaries of Government employees on first day of the month.
- We have conducted 153 block-level meetings where all officials from Nabanna were present.
- Let us all pledge to build a better Bengal in future.
- We do not share fake images on social media for propaganda. We do not believe in slander campaigns.
- Bengal is marching ahead.
- My best wishes to students who have passed the Madhyamik and Madrassah examinations.
- In the true sense, what Bengal thinks today, the world thinks tomorrow.

আসুন আমরা শপথ নিই গর্বের বাংলা গড়ার: মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়
তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস সরকার গঠনের ছয় বছর পূর্তি উপলক্ষে আজ নবান্নে একটি অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করে রাজ্য সরকার।
গত ছয় বছরে সরকারের কাজের খতিয়ান দিয়ে একটি পুস্তক প্রকাশ করলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়।
পাশাপাশি ৫৩ টি অ্যাম্বুলেন্সেরও উদ্বোধন করলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী।
তার বক্তব্যের কিছু বিষয়ঃ
- আজকের দিনে গত বছর এই দিনটিতে পুলিশ আমায় স্যালুট জানিয়েছিল। আমরা নবান্নে এসেছিলাম
- ইচ্ছে করলে অন্যদের মতো অনেক খরচ করে এই অনুষ্ঠান করতে পারতাম
- নবান্নে একটি অডিটোরিয়াম তৈরী হচ্ছে সরকারী অনুষ্ঠান ও বৈঠকের জন্য
- পুলিশ ও সরকারী কর্মচারীরা যারা আজ এই রক্তদান শিবিরের আয়োজন করেছেন তাদের আমার শুভেচ্ছা
- গরমকালে এমনিতেই রক্তের যোগান কম থাকে। গত সপ্তাহে ১৬০০০ পুলিশকর্মী রক্তদান করেছেন
- আজ থেকে জুনের প্রথম সপ্তাহ পর্যন্ত তৃণমূল কর্মীদের রক্তদান শিবিরের আয়োজন করার অনুরোধ করেছি
- রক্তদান শিবিরের মাধ্যমে ৬৬০০০ বোতল রক্ত সংগ্রহ করা হবে
- আমি বেশি কথা বলতে ভালোবাসি না। ভাষণ দেওয়া আমার পেশাও না, নেশাও না
- আগামী একমাস রাজ্য জুড়ে সামাজিক কর্মসূচি নেওয়া হবে
- Evidence speaks for itself. সরকার গত ৬ বছরে কি কি কাজ করেছে তা নিয়ে একটা বই আজ আমরা পাবলিশ করলাম
- ১১৭ টি ন্যায্য মূল্যের ডায়াগ্নস্টিক সেন্টার, ১১৯ টি ন্যায্য মূল্যের ওষুধের দোকান, ১৬ টি নতুন মেডিকেল কলেজ তৈরী হয়েছে
- ৪২টি মাল্টি সুপার স্পেশালিটি হাসপাতাল, ৩০৭টি SNSU, ৭০ টি HDU তৈরী হয়েছে
- ১০০ টি নতুন পুলিশ স্টেশন, ৬০ টি মহিলা থানা। ৮৮ টি ফাস্ট ট্র্যাক কোর্ট তৈরী হয়েছে
- ৪০ লক্ষ কন্যাশ্রী স্কলারশিপ, ৭০ লক্ষ সবুজ সাথী সাইকেল, ৩৫ লক্ষ শিক্ষাশ্রী, ২ লক্ষ যুবশ্রী স্কলারশিপ দেওয়া হয়েছে
- ৩ লক্ষ পাট্টা দেওয়া হয়েছে, ১ কোটি ১০ লক্ষ সংখ্যালঘু স্কলারশিপ দেওয়া হয়েছে
- চা বাগান থেকে জঙ্গলমহল, পাহাড় – সারা রাজ্যে ৯ কোটি মানুষ খাদ্য সাথী প্রকল্পের আওতায় এসেছে
- Skill Development, MSME তে বাংলা এক নম্বর। পরপর ৫ বছর আমরা কৃষি কর্মণ পুরস্কার পেয়েছি
- এত ঋণের বোঝা থাকা সত্ত্বেও আমরা মাসের প্রথম দিনে সরকারী কর্মচারীদের বেতন দিচ্ছি
- ব্লক স্তরে আমরা ১৫৩ টি প্রশাসনিক বৈঠক করেছি
- আসুন আমরা শপথ নিই গর্বের বাংলা গড়ার
- সোশ্যাল মিডিয়ায় আমরা নকল ছবি শেয়ার করি না। কুৎসা ও অপপ্রচারে আমরা বিশ্বাস করি না
বাংলা এগিয়ে চলেছে - আজ মাধ্যমিকের রেজাল্ট বেরিয়েছে। গত সপ্তাহে মাদ্রাসা পরীক্ষার ফল বেরিয়েছিল। ছাত্রছাত্রীদের আমার শুভেচ্ছা
- সর্ব ধর্ম সমন্বয় ও একতাই সম্প্রীতি এই মাটির বিশিষ্টতা
- নবজাগরণ থেকে শুরু করে সমাজ সংস্কার, সব বাংলাতেই শুরু হয়েছিল। বাংলায় ভেদাভেদের রাজনীতি হয়না
- আমরা থ্রি ল্যাঙ্গুয়েজে ফর্মুলা চালু করেছি। নিজের পছন্দের ভাষা প্রথম ভাষা হিসেবে পড়ুন। কিন্তু বাংলাও শিখুন
- বাংলা আবার জগৎ সভায় শ্রেষ্ঠ আসন লবে
