Focus on students and youth wings of the party before Lok Sabha polls

Trinamool Secretary General will convene a meeting to kick-start the preparations for the upcoming Chhatra-Yubo-Yuva rally scheduled for February, 2014. Trinamool Congress Chairperson Ms. Mamata Benrjee is slated to speak at the event.
Party Secretary General Partha Chatterjee will convene a meeting with the three youth and students oriented cells of the party – Chhatra Parishad, Yubo Congress and YUVA – in order to chalk out responsibilities in view of the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls.
A huge mass meeting under the banner of Chhatra-Yubo-Yuva has been planned in February 2014. A preparatory meeting on the rally will be held on December 6 at Trinamool Bhavan. The meeting will be addressed by the Secretary General as well as Trinamool Yubo Congress State President and MP Suvendu Adhikari. Trinamool Chhatra Parishad State President Shankudeb Panda, Trinamool Yubo Congress leader Sourav Chakraborty and Trinamool YUVA National President Abhishek Banerjee will be present in the meeting.
According to party Secretary General Partha Chatterjee, the party Chairperson will call for a change of regime at the Centre from the Brigade rally on January 30, 2014. The Chhatra-Yubo-Yuva rally will be held after that. He added that the rally was being held to take the message of the government to the masses and publicise the developmental works of the state govt. Chhatra-Yubo-Yuva will act as the bridge between the common people and the government.
Chairperson Ms. Mamata Banerjee will detail lay down the detailed plan of action for the three party cells at the Chhatro-Yubo-Yuva rally. She will distinctly define the roles to be taken by Trinamool Chhatra Parishad, Trinamool Yubo Congress and Trinamool YUVA and what will be their mode of operation at district level.
Incidentally, party Chairperson Ms. Mamata Banerjee will address at the Communal Harmony rally organised by Trinamool YUVA on December 6, 2013 near the statue of Mahatma Gandhi on Mayo Road, Kolkata.
