Didi inaugurates community Durga Pujas during the weekend
Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Chairperson Mamata Banerjee inaugurated several community Durga Pujas throughout the weekend.
The Pujas include Talbagan and Shitala Mandir in Bosepukur, Kasba, Adi Ballygunge near Bondel Gate, Suruchi Sangha in New Alipore, Ekdalia Evergreen in Gariahat, Tridhara and Ballygunge Cultural near Lake View Road crossing, Naktala Udayan Sangha, Behala Nutan Dal and many others.
On Monday Mamata Banerjee inaugurated Puja mandaps of 74 Palli in Kidderpore, Bhowanipore 76 Palli, Muktadal, Md Ali Park and Badamtala Ashar Sangha in Rashbehari Avenue.
Earlier she had also inaugurated Durga Pujas at Sreebhumi Sporting Club in Lake Town and Ahiritola Sarbojonin in north Kolkata.
Like every year, she performed the ‘Chokkhudan’ of the Durga idol at Chetla Agrani Club. The theme song of the Suruchi Sangha Durga Puja Committee in New Alipore has been penned by Didi.
The Chief Minister urged all the Puja Committees to ensure proper security for all the pandal-hoppers especially during the night and maintain peace and harmony in this festive season.
বিভিন্ন পুজো মণ্ডপের উদ্বোধন করলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী
গত সপ্তাহে বিভিন্ন পুজো প্যান্ডেলের উদ্বোধন করেন মাননীয়া মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়।
তালবাগান, বোসপুকুর শীতলা মন্দির, কসবা, আদি বালিগঞ্জ (বন্দেল গেটের সামনে), নিউ আলিপুর সুরুচি সংঘ, গড়িয়াহাটের একডালিয়া এভারগ্রিন, লেক ভিউ রোডে ত্রিধারা, বালিগঞ্জ কালচারাল, নাকতলা উদয়ন সংঘ, বেহালা নতুন দল সহ আরও অনেক পুজোর উদ্বোধন করেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী।
এর আগে, তিনি লেক টাউনে শ্রীভুমি স্পোর্টিং ক্লাব এবং উত্তর কলকাতার আহিরটোলা সার্বজনীন দুর্গোৎসবের উদ্বোধন করেন।
প্রতি বছরের মত, এবারও তিনি চেতলা অগ্রণী ক্লাবে মা দুর্গার চক্ষুদান করেন। এবারেও নিউ আলিপুরের সুরুচি সংঘের পুজোর থিম সং তৃণমূল নেত্রী তথা রাজ্যের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের লেখা। এই থিম সংটির শীর্ষক হল ‘পৃথিবী একটাই দেশ’
উৎসবের দিনগুলোতে পুজো প্যান্ডেলগুলিতে কঠোর নিরাপত্তা ব্যবস্থা, শান্তি ও সম্প্রীতি বজায় রাখার জন্য পুজো কমিটিগুলোকে বিশেষ আবেদন জানিয়েছেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী।
