Bengal Govt’s fish app to be launched on Dec 15
On December 15, on the first day of the three-day Fish Festival at Nalban Food Park in Kolkata, the State Fisheries Development Corporation (SFDC) will launch an app through which customers will be able to buy fish and fish items.
The government aims, through the mobile app, to make fish from Bengal available easily across the country as well as abroad. The aim is in sync with Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s aim to make the brands of the government achieve global status, under the umbrella brand, Biswa Bangla.
The SFDC has selected 22 varieties of fish, seven varieties of dried fish (shuntki maach), fish pickle and a few other items to be sold through the app. Initially, the products will be available in the areas of Salt Lake, Lake Town, Kestopur, Baguihati and Kankurgachi. The fish will be sold in packets of 250 g, 500 g and 1 kg.
By next year, according to SFDC officials, the items will be sold throughout the state, country and even abroad.
রাজ্য সরকার নিয়ে এল মাছ কেনার অ্যাপ
নলবন ফুড পার্কে রাজ্য মৎস্য দপ্তরের উদ্যোগে আগামী ১৫ই ডিসেম্বর শুরু হতে চলেছে তিন দিন ব্যাপী মৎস্য উৎসব। এই উৎসবের প্রথম দিনই রাজ্য সরকারের উদ্যোগে চালু হবে একটি অভিনব মাছ কেনার অ্যাপ।
এই মোবাইল অ্যাপ্লিকেশনের মাধ্যমে দেশ ও বিদেশের কোনও প্রান্তে বসেই বাংলার মাছ বা মাছের পদ পেয়ে যাবেন সাধারণ মানুষ। মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের ‘বিশ্ব বাংলার’ স্বপ্নকেই বাস্তবায়িত করতে মৎস্য দপ্তরের এই উদ্যোগ।
২২টি প্রজাতির মাছ এবং ৭টি প্রজাতির শুঁটকি মাছ পাওয়া যাবে এই অ্যাপ্লিকেশনের মাধ্যমে। ই মাছগুলি ২৫০ গ্রাম, ৫০০ গ্রাম ও ১ কিলোর প্যাকেটে পাওয়া যাবে।
প্রাথমিক পর্যায়ে বিধাননগর, লেকটাউন, কেষ্টপুর, বাগুইহাটি, ও কাঁকুড়গাছি অঞ্চলে এই পরিষেবা পাওয়া যাবে। আগামী বছরের মধ্যেই রাজ্যের অন্যান্য জায়গায়, সারা দেশে এমনকি বিদেশেও বাংলার মাছ পাড়ি দেবে এই অ্যাপ্লিকেশনের মাধ্যমে।
