Bengal Govt to set up hub for local food products like batasha, nakuldana
The Bengal Government is all set to create new avenues for the food industry, a large chunk of which is part of the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) sector. As a part of the framework for popularisation and export of the heritage sweet dishes of the State, like the lyangcha of Shaktigarh and mihidana and sitabhog of Bardhaman, to the rest of the world, Mishti Hubs have come into being.
On the same line, popular Bengali food items of daily household use like batasha, nakuldana and bori, and sweets like morobba, will now find a common address as the makers of these items will be brought under one roof. The Bengal Government will be helping the makers of these items by providing technical support and marketing strategies.
Thousands of families all over Bengal earn their living by making these, which make up a popular cottage industry. These items have a huge demand in other states as well. However, the lack of marketing has left the people connected with these businesses in a poor state, and this is why the Government has decided to step in. The State Government is now deciding upon the place where the hub will be set up.
বিপণন বৃদ্ধির জন্য তৈরি হবে বাতাসা,নকুলদানা, মোরব্বা হাব
বাংলার জনপ্রিয় মিষ্টিগুলোর পাশাপাশি এবার বাতাসা-নকুলদানার জন্য শিল্প তালুক গড়ার সিদ্ধান্ত নিল রাজ্য সরকার।
শক্তিগড়ের ল্যাংচা, বর্ধমানের সীতাভোগ, মিহিদানা ছাড়াও আশেপাশের জেলার প্রসিদ্ধ সব মিষ্টিকে এক ছাদের তলায় আনতে চায় রাজ্য সরকার। শুধু তাই নয়, বিপণন ও রপ্তানিরও দায়িত্ব নিচ্ছে রাজ্য সরকার।
একইসঙ্গে বাংলার বিভিন্ন জনপ্রিয় জিনিস যেমন বাতাস, নকুলদানা, মোরব্বা এবং বড়ি এইসব নিত্য প্রয়োজনীয় জিনিস তৈরির ব্যবসায় যুক্ত ব্যবসায়ী-কারিগরদের এক ছাদের তলায় আনাই উদ্দেশ্য রাজ্য সরকারের। উন্নত প্রযুক্তিগত সহায়তা প্রদান করে যাতে এইসকল জিনিসের উ९পাদন বৃদ্ধিতে সহায়তা করবে রাজ্য সরকার। সেই সঙ্গে বিপণনের দরজাও প্রসারিত হবে।
বাতাসা, নকুলদানা, মোরব্বা, ডালের বড়ি তৈরির সঙ্গে বাংলায় কয়েক হাজার কারিগর ও তাদের পরিবার যুক্ত। অন্যান্য রাজ্যেও এসবে চাহিদা যথেষ্ট। কিন্তু উ९পাদন কম হওয়ায় এবং বিপণনের অভাবে তাদের রোজগার একেবারেই নামান্তর। সেজন্যই রাজ্য সরকার এই হাব তৈরির সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে। এর ফলে অনেক কর্মসংস্থানও হবে।
