Bengal CM inaugurates projects worth Rs 1100 Cr in Cooch Behar
Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for projects worth Rs 1100 crore today at Chakchaka in Cooch Behar.
76,000 people received government benefits while 91% people in the district received direct benefit in some form. The CM laid the foundation stone for Cooch Behar Medical College and Hospital today.
She also distributed the benefits of various schemes such as Kanyashree, Yuvashree, Sabuj Shree, Siksha Shree, Swami Vivekananda scholarship, agricultural equipment among others.
Highlights of the Chief Minister’s speech:
- We allotted Rs 50 lakh for the development of Cooch Behar stadium
- I believe Cooch Behar town must be declared a ‘heritage city’. We will take the necessary steps
- We have decided to give recognition to 5 refugees colonies. 400 refugee families will be benefited
- My best wishes to the inhabitants of Chhitmahal. We are working for their development
- We have set up Panchanan Barma University, 10 Krishi Bazaar, ITIs, polytechnics, two medical colleges in the district
- We have inaugurated projects worth Rs 1100 crore here today
- 76000 people have received govt benefits today. 91% people in Cooch Behar have received direct benefits
- Cooch Behar has become the 5th ODF district of Bengal
- Coverage of cleanliness mission in Bengal is 90% while national average is 64%
- We have set up a committee to give recognition to Kamtapuri language, Rajbongshi Development Board
- We have set up a branch secretariat ‘Uttar Kanya’ in north Bengal
- Farmers do not have to pay khajna tax on agricultural land anymore
- 22 lakh SC/ST students have received scholarships. 40 lakh cycles have been distributed under Sabuj Sathi
- We offer free healthcare services – from heart operation to renal dialysis – in govt hospitals in Bengal
- 8 crore people receive rice at Rs 2/kg in Bengal
- We give bags, books, shoes, uniforms and even test papers for free to students
- We are giving soft loans to students to pursue higher education
- We have Swami Vivekananda merit scholarship worth Rs 200 crore for economically weaker sections
- Our govt does not make tall promises in the air. We are in touch with ground realities. We fulfill our promises
- Chakchaka will be developed as a industry hub
- Bengal will show the way to the rest of India. Bengal will become the best in the world.
কুচবিহারে ১১০০ কোটি টাকার প্রকল্পের উদ্বোধন করলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী
আজ কুচবিহারের চকচকাতে ১১০০ কোটি টাকার প্রকল্পের উদ্বোধন ও শিলান্যাস করলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। সভামঞ্চ থেকে ৭৬০০০ মানুষকে পরিষেবা প্রদান করা হয়। জেলার ৯১% মানুষের কাছে পরিষেবা পৌঁছে দিয়েছে প্রশাসন।
মুখ্যমন্ত্রী আজ কুচবিহার মেডিকেল কলেজ ও হাসপাতালের শিলান্যাস করেন। এছাড়াও পুলিশ স্টেশন, স্বাস্থ্যকেন্দ্র, রাস্তা, হোস্টেল, ব্রিজ, স্টেডিয়াম, বাস টার্মিনাস সহ একগুচ্ছ প্রকল্পের উদ্বোধন করেন তিনি।
আজকের এই সভা থেকে কন্যাশ্রী, যুবশ্রী, সবুজশ্রী, শিক্ষাশ্রী, স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ স্কলারশিপসহ বিভিন্ন কৃষি যন্ত্রপাতি ও বিতরণ করেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী।
তাঁর বক্তব্যের কিছু অংশ:
- কোচবিহার স্টেডিয়ামের জন্য ৫০ লক্ষ টাকা দিয়েছি
- কুচবিহারকে হেরিটেজ শহর ঘোষণা করা হবে। এর জন্য আমরা প্রয়োজনীয় পদক্ষেপ নেব
- ৫ টি উদবাস্তু কলোনিকে স্বীকৃতি দেওয়া হল। এর ফলে ৪০০ উদ্বাস্তু পরিবার উপকৃত হবে
- ছিটমহলবাসীদের আমার অভিনন্দন। ওদের উন্নয়নের জন্য আমরা কাজ করছি
- পঞ্চানন বর্মা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, ১০টি কৃষক বাজার, আইটিআই, পলিটেকনিক কলেজ, ২টি মেডিকেল কলেজ তৈরী হয়েছে এই জেলায়
- আজ ১১০০ কোটি টাকার প্রকল্পের উদ্বোধন করা হল
- আজ ৭৬ হাজার মানুষ সরকারী পরিষেবা পেয়েছে। এই জেলার ৯১% মানুষের কাছে সরকারী পরিষেবা পৌঁছে গেছে
- বাংলার পঞ্চম নির্মল জেলা ঘোষণা করা হল কুচবিহারকে
- কামতাপুরি ভাষাকে স্বীকৃতি দেওয়ার জন্য আমরা একটি কমিটি গঠন করেছি
- রাজবংশী উন্নয়ন পর্ষদ গঠন করেছি আমরা
- উত্তরবঙ্গে মিনি সচিবালয় ‘উত্তরকন্যা’ গঠন করেছি আমরা
- এখন আর কৃষকদের কৃষিজমির জন্য খাজনা দিতে হয় না
- ২২ লক্ষ SC/ST ছাত্রছাত্রীদের স্কলারশিপ দেওয়া হয়েছে। সবুজ সাথী প্রকল্পে ৪০ লক্ষ সাইকেল দেওয়া হয়েছে
- সরকারী হাসপাতালে বিনামূল্যে চিকিৎসা পরিষেবা পাওয়া যাচ্ছে । বিনামূল্যে হার্ট অপারেশন, ডায়ালিসিস করা হয়
- ৮ কোটি মানুষকে ২ টাকা কেজি চাল দেয় রাজ্য সরকার
- ছাত্রছাত্রীদের বিনামূল্যে ব্যাগ, জুতো, বই এবং টেস্ট পেপার দেওয়া হচ্ছে
- ছাত্রছাত্রীদের উচ্চশিক্ষার জন্য আমরা স্কলারশিপ চালু করেছি
- আর্থিকভাবে পিছিয়ে পড়া ছাত্রছাত্রীদের জন্য আমরা স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ স্কলারশিপ চালু করেছি
- আমাদের সরকার মিথ্যে প্রতিশ্রুতি দেয় না। আমরা কথা দিয়ে কথা রাখি
- চকচকায় একটি শিল্প হাব তৈরী হবে
- বাংলাই আগামীদিনে ভারতবর্ষকে পথ দেখাবে। বাংলা হবে বিশ্বসেরা
