Bengal’s SEEDN system to ensure uninterrupted power supply
The Bengal Power Department has decided to introduce state-of-the-art technology system to guarantee uninterrupted supply of power at a steady voltage to each and every part of the state. The system is known as SEEDN (strengthening and extension of electricity distribution network).
The SEEDN system will check power loss during distribution as a result of fluctuating voltage, and benefit around 1.78 crore consumers. Farmers will also be benefitted with the introduction of this modern technology.
The State Government has also started a project of supplying power for irrigation through a dedicated line. There is a huge consumption of power all through the year for draining water for supplying it to crops, which goes up during paddy cultivation.
অবিচ্ছেদ্য বিদ্যুৎ সরবরাহের জন্য রাজ্য সরকার চালু করল SEEDN ব্যবস্থা
রাজ্য বিদ্যুৎ পর্ষদ সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে অত্যাধুনিক প্রযুক্তির মাধ্যমে রাজ্যের প্রতিটি কোনে একই ভোল্টেজে অবিচ্ছেদ্য ভাবে বিদ্যুৎ সরবরাহ করবে। এই ব্যবস্থার নাম SEEDN (strengthening and extension of electricity distribution network)।
ভোল্টেজ ফ্লাকচুয়েশন বন্ধ করে, সরবরাহের সময় বিদ্যুৎ অপচয় কমাবে এই এসইইডিএন সিস্টেম। ফলে হওয়া বিদ্যুৎ ঘাটতি কমবে এবং এর ফলে উপকৃত হবে ১.৭৮ কোটি গ্রাহক। এই নতুন প্রযুক্তিতে উপকৃত হবেন চাষিরাও।
