State Govt setting up IT park in Nonadanga
The Bengal Government is all set to create an information technology (IT) park on 10 acres of land in Nonadanga, adjacent to Eastern Metropolitan Bypass. The government will spend Rs 10 crore to develop it.
Not just that, three big companies are all set to invest in the IT park, each of whom would get 5, 3.5 and 1.5 acres, thus creating direct job opportunity for 12,000 aspirants. The three companies would invest a total of Rs 500 crore to develop infrastructure.
The State Government has taken major initiatives in developing IT infrastructure and the results are encouraging. More and more companies are investing in setting up campuses, thus creating a lot employment opportunities. A few months back, Infosys announced its decision to set up a centre with an investment of Rs 100 crore, paving the way for the employment of 1,000 personnel.
নোনাডাঙায় তথ্যপ্রযুক্তি পার্ক গড়বে রাজ্য
নোনাডাঙায় গড়ে উঠবে তথ্য প্রযুক্তি পার্ক। ১০ একর জমি জুড়ে এই পার্কের পরিকাঠামো গড়ে তুলতে ১০ কোটি টাকা বরাদ্দ করল রাজ্য তথ্য প্রযুক্তি দপ্তর।
পরিকাঠামো তৈরী হলে এইচএসবিসি, রোল্টা ইন্ডিয়া ও এইচসিএল-এই তিনটি সংস্থাই প্রাথমিক ৫০০ কোটি টাকা বিনিয়োগ করবে। ওই তিন সংস্থার বিনিয়োগ ধাপে ধাপে বেড়ে ৫ হাজার কোটি টাকায় পৌঁছবে। কর্মসংস্থান হবে প্রায় ১২ হাজার।
এই তিনটি সংস্থার জন্য জমির বরাদ্দও নির্দিষ্ট করা হয়েছে। এইচএসবিসি পাবে ৩.৫ একর, রোল্টা ইন্ডিয়া ৫ একর ও এইচসিএল পাবে ১.৫ একর। ৬ মাসের মধ্যে পরিকাঠামো তৈরী হলেই কাজ শুরু হয়ে যাবে।
