Trinamool Chairperson meets elected representatives of KMC
Trinamool Congress Chairperson Ms Mamata Banerjee had convened a meeting of KMC MMICs, borough chairpersons and councillors for formulating the party strategy for the coming civic poll for KMC earlier today at the Kalighat party office.
Earlier, on 26 October, senior party leaders, MPs and MLAs held meeting with KMC MMICs, borough chairpersons and councillors at Trinamool Bhavan to chalk out the plan for the KMC poll due in 2015 May.
For today's meeting all the elected representatives of the municipal corporation had been asked to bring a summary of the works done in their respective areas.
“The party Chairperson will review the developmental works done in the areas herself,” Trinamool Congress Secretary General, Dr Partha Chatterjee had said on Sunday.
As the Chief Minister of the State, Ms Banerjee has been holding such meetings with her council of ministers twice a year.
