BJP is Bharat Jalao Party: Abhishek Banerjee at Alipurduar
Trinamool Youth Congress President Mr Abhishek Banerjee addressed a massive rally at Alipurduar on Tuesday. He said that BJP does not stand for Bharatiya Janata Party anymore and should be renamed Bharat Jalao Party. Wherever BJP has been in power, it has been marked by communal riots and divisive politics, he said.
The firebrand youth leader asked the people to the conspiracies by BJP and the accusations leveled against West Bengal Chief Minister Ms Mamata Banerjee. He also pointed out how the wealth and personal assets of Union ministers have grown in the last five months.
He reiterated the fact that that the Trinamool Chairperson Ms Mamata Banerjee had visited the Hills more than forty times. He asserted that the CM will not protect the unity of the State till the last drop of her blood drained out of her body.
Mr Banerjee said that the state BJP has no leaders and have to import leaders from Delhi. They have just one MLA out of the 295 in state Assembly and are speaking of change, he said. He said that the BJP is threatening the State with ED, CBI and other agencies but these will not create any impact. Didi has the blessings of ten crore people of Bengal, he added.
He said that the Prime Minister is trying to sell off the country and warned the BJP not to play with fire. He said that as Railway Minister, Ms Mamata Banerjee sanctioned many projects for Bengal which are being scrapped by the current Union Government.
