Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee held a meeting with the heads of private schools, colleges and other educational institutions and discussed fee disparity with their representatives.

The Bengal Government has taken a stand to see that poor and meritorious students get opportunity to study in the institutions of their choice.

Recently the Bengal Government mooted on the three-language forumla and have suggested that Bengali should be one of the three languages in school curriculum.

There are around 12,500 schools in our state

Bengal’s merit is famous in the world; it is the source of our excellence

Money cannot judge merit

Some schools even charge for exercise books, uniforms

Some schools take huge donation fees

Why should fees and session fees be separate?

We have started the three-language formula; we want students to know their mother tongue

We do not want to make things compulsory, students should choose their subjects

There is no differentiation in Bengal. Here everybody are treated equally

Why should those living in Bengal not study Bangla?

Everybody has the right to study:

We want our students to shine at international level

Bengal is an education hub.

Self Regulatory Committees to be formed to decide school fees.

আজ বেসরকারী স্কুল, কলেজগুলির সঙ্গে বৈঠক করেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী

বেসরকারী স্কুল, কলেজ ও অন্যান্য শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলির কর্তৃপক্ষের সঙ্গে বৈঠক করেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। বৈঠকে ভর্তির ফি সহ অন্যান্য বিষয় নিয়ে আলোচনা হয়।

দরিদ্র ও মেধাবী ছাত্রছাত্রীদের জন্য ইতিমধ্যেই রাজ্য সরকার বিভিন্ন রকম পদক্ষেপ নিয়েছে। এবার বেসরকারী কলেজ ও বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়গুলিতেও যেন তাদের জন্য আসন সংরক্ষিত থাকে সেই আবেদন করে রাজ্য সরকার।

সম্প্রতি বাংলা সরকার ত্রিভাষা নীতি চালু করেছে এবং সিদ্ধান্ত হয়েছে সব স্কুলের পাঠ্যক্রমে এই তিনটি ভাষার মধ্যে বাংলা ভাষাকে বাধ্যতামূলক করতে হবে।

রাজ্যে প্রায় ১২,৫০০ স্কুল রয়েছে

বাংলার মেধা সর্বত্র প্রথম, বাংলার মেধাই প্রধান উৎকর্ষতা

টাকা দিয়ে মেধার বিচার হয় না

কিছু কিছু স্কুলে টেক্সট বই ও ইউনিফর্মের জন্য টাকা নেওয়া হয়

কিছু স্কুলে ডোনেশনের নামে যা ইচ্ছে তাই চলছেঃ মুখ্যমন্ত্রী

ফিজ এবং সেশন ফিজ কেন আলাদা হবে?

আমরা ত্রিভাষা নীতি প্রণয়ন করেছি, আমরা চাই সকলে তাদের মাতৃভাষা জানুক

আমরা কিছু compulsory করতে চাই না, যে যার পছন্দমতো বিষয় নিয়ে পড়বে

বাংলায় কোন বিভেদ নেই, এখানে সকলে সমান

বাংলায় থাকবে অথচ বাংলা পড়বে না?

সকলের পড়ার অধিকার আছে

আমারা চাই আমাদের ছাত্রছাত্রীরা বিশ্ব জয় করুক

পশ্চিমবঙ্গ হল এডুকেশন হাব

ফি ঠিক করতে একটি সেলফ রেগুলেটরি কমিটি গঠন করা হবে
