The State Panchayat and Rural Development Department on Wednesday introduced a mobile phone app to enable people to lodge complaints related to the functioning of the department. Steps to solve the problem will be taken up within the next 72 hours.

This is the first time in the country when a panchayat department has taken up such a step to expedite the task of the department following direction of the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

Besides using the app, once can also send letters or make a call in the department’s toll free number to lodge a complaint. The state panchayat minister Subrata Mukherjee on Wednesday inaugurated the online based system – Protikar – by which the problems can be solved within a stipulated time.

He demonstrated the system during the inauguration programme and showed how it has been made easier for a common person to approach the department for any sort of support.

It would help a person to file a complaint even from the remotest part of the state and one would no more need to run to the city to get their work done. Thus, there will be no question of harassments.

 

কৃষকদের জন্য নতুন অ্যাপ পঞ্চায়েত এবং গ্রামোন্নয়ন বিভাগের

রাজ্যের পঞ্চায়েত এবং গ্রামোন্নয়ন বিভাগ বুধবার পঞ্চায়েতের কাজকর্ম নিয়ে কৃষকদের অভিযোগ জানানোর জন্য একটি নতুন মোবাইল ফোন অ্যাপ্লিকেশনের সূচনা করেন। এই অ্যাপটি হল – ‘প্রতিকার’ অ্যাপ। অভিযোগ জানানোর ৭২ ঘণ্টার মধ্যে জবাব পাবেন অভিযোগকারীরা।

এই প্রথমবার কোন পঞ্চায়েত বিভাগ মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা ব্যানার্জী এর নির্দেশনা অনুসারে এই ধরনের একটি পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণ করেছে।

এই অ্যাপটি ব্যবহার করার পাশাপাশি সাধারণ মানুষ চিঠি মারফত তাদের অভিযোগ জানাতে পারেন। এছাড়া পঞ্চায়েতের ওয়েবসাইট মারফত অথবা টোল ফ্রি নম্বরে ফোন করেও মানুষ তাদের অভিযোগ জানাতে পারেন। টোল ফ্রি নম্বরটি হল ১৮০০২০০০ – ৮৬৪। এই নম্বরে ফোন করে আমজনতা নির্দিষ্ট করে সব ধরনের অভিযোগ বাংলা বা ইংরেজি দুই ভাষাতেই জানাতে পারবেন। আগামী আগস্ট থেকে এই পরিষেবা পুরোদমে চালু হয়ে যাবে।

এমনকি রাজ্যের প্রত্যন্ত অংশ থেকে মানুষজন এর মাধ্যমে তাদের অভিযোগ দায়ের করতে পারবেন এবং সব কাজ করানোর জন্য কোন একজনের ওপর নিরভর করে থাকতে হবে না। এর ফলে হয়রানি কোন প্রশ্নই থাকবেনা।
