Mamata Banerjee will address election campaign rallies in three districts today – at Joynagar, Mandirbazar and Maheshtala in South 24 Parganas, at Khidderpore in Kolkata and at Sreerampore in Hooghly.

The Trinamool Chairperson has already taken part in more than one hundred campaign rallies and padayatras in different parts of Bengal, in spite of the scorching heat.

On Tuesday, Mamata Banerjee held rallies in different part of South Kolkata – at Theatre Road, Bagha Jatin, Patuli and Tollygunge. People turned out in large numbers to show support towards her.

আজ তিন জেলায় নির্বাচনী প্রচার করবেন তৃণমূল নেত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগণার জয়নগর,মন্দিরবাজারে ও মহেশ্তলায়, কলকাতার খিদিরপুর এবং হুগলি জেলার শ্রীরামপুরে জনসভা করবেন নেত্রী।

এই প্রচণ্ড গরমে সারা বাংলা জুড়ে তিনি নির্বাচনী প্রচার করছেন। ইতিমধ্যেই তিনি ১০০টির বেশি জনসভা ও পদযাত্রা করেছেন।

মঙ্গলবার তিনি ভাঙড়, বারুইপুর, মগরাহাট ও রায়দীঘিতে নির্বাচনী প্রচার করেছেন। প্রতিটি জনসভাতেই বিপুল জনসমাগম হয়েছিল।

Mamata Banerjee addressed three election rallies in Howrah district today,  in Bally, Dumurjola and Howrah North.

Yesterday Didi addressed four mass rallies in North 24 Pargana district at Aamdanga, Khardah, Belghoria and Shyamnagar.

In spite of the scorching summer heat, the Trinamool Chairperson has been travelling to the furthest corners of the State to reach out to the people and spread the message of  the developmental works done by the Trinamool Government.

হাওড়ায় আজ নির্বাচনী প্রচার করলেন তৃণমূল নেত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। হাওড়ার বালি, ডুমুরজোলা ও উত্তর হাওড়ায় তিনটি জনসভা করলেন নেত্রী।

গতকাল উত্তর২৪ পরগনায় প্রচার করেন তিনি। উত্তর২৪ পরগনার বেলঘড়িয়া, আমডাঙ্গা, খড়দা ও শ্যামনগরে জনসভা করেন মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। প্রত্যেকটিতেই বিপুল জনসমাগম হয়েছিল।

এই প্রচণ্ড গরমেও সারা রজ্য জুড়ে নির্বাচনী প্রচার করছেন তৃণমূল নেত্রী এবং মানুষের কাছে গত সাড়ে চার বছরের উন্নয়নমূলক কাজের বার্তা পৌঁছে দিচ্ছেন।

Trinamool Youth Congress President Abhishek Banerjee on Sunday slammed the Congress-CPI(M) alliance in a election campaign rally held at Karunamoyiee in Bidhannagar.

In Karunamoyee, Abhishek Banerjee threw an open challenge to the CPI(M) saying that if the CPI(M) can even list 10% of the development they have done in the last 34 years, he’ll quit politics.

He added that the people of Bengal have witnessed the development brought by Mamata Banerjee. ‘Congress have been tortured by the CPI(M). In many places around the State, CPI(M) workers had cut off hands of Congress workers. They have destroyed their homes, attacked families of Congress workers. Even after all this, the Congress is together with the CPI(M) now,’ he said.

The young firebrand MP further added, ‘Bengal wants development. And the people of Bengal have witnessed the development brought about by Mamata Banerjee in the last 5 years and that is the reason why the people will vote for Trinamool and bring us back to power.’

 

৩৪ বছরে কি উন্নয়ন হয়েছে তার ১০ শতাংশের হিসেব দিতে পারলে রাজনীতির আঙিনায় আসব না – অভিষেক বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় 

গতকাল বিধাননগরের করুণাময়ীতেও একটি নির্বাচনী প্রচার করেন তৃণমূল যুব কংগ্রেসের সভাপতি অভিষেক বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। করুনাময়ীর জনসভা থেকে বাম-কংগ্রেসের জোটকে তীব্র ভাষায় আক্রমণ করেন।

এদিন তিনি বলেন, “সিপিএম ৩৪ বছরে কি উন্নয়ন করেছে, তার ১০ শতাংশের হিসেব দিতে পারলে রাজনীতির আঙিনায় আসব না”।

অভিষেক বলেন, “সিপিএমের হাতে অত্যাচারিত হয়েছে কংগ্রেস। হাজার হাজার কংগ্রেস কর্মীকে হত্যা করেছে সিপিএম। তারপর সেই সিপিএমের সঙ্গেই হাত মিলিয়েছে কংগ্রেস”।

তিনি আরও বলেন “বাংলার মানুষ উন্নয়ন চান। গত ৫ বছরে মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় পরিচালিত তৃণমূল সরকারের আমলে রাজ্যের অভূতপূর্ব উন্নয়ন হয়েছে এবং সেজন্যই মানুষ আবার তৃণমূলকে ভোট দেবে”।

Mamata Banerjee today slammed the BJP while addressing an election campaign rally at Asansol. She dared the Prime Minister to arrest her and slammed him for indulging in personal attacks and bringing disrespect to the chair he holds.

আজ আসানসোলের সভা থেকে বিজেপিকে কড়া ভাষায় আক্রমণ তৃণমূল নেত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। তিনি বলেন, প্রধানমন্ত্রী যদি তাকে গ্রেফতারও করেন তাতে তিনি ভীত নন।

Trinamool Youth Congress President Abhishek Banerjee addressed a huge gathering at Jamuria in Bardhaman on Thursday where he urged the people to remove the filth created by the Left. He urged the people to bring in the change in Jamuria, the change that had come upon Bengal in 2011.

The firebrand leader reiterated the facts of the developmental works that had changed the face of Bengal during the last four and a half years and said that even 10% of such works could be taken upon during the 34 years of the Left misrule.

He urged the people to verify the real facts and then go on to exercise their polling rights.

Abhishek Banerjee disclosed the facts as to how the Trinamool Government under Mamata Banerjee took upon the numerous developmental projects withstanding the huge loan created by the past Left Government.

 

এবার জামুড়িয়ায় পরিবর্তনের সময়: অভিষেক বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়

বৃহস্পতিবার তৃণমূল যুব কংগ্রেস সভাপতি অভিষেক বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় বর্ধমান জেলার জামুড়িয়ায় একটি সভা করেন। তিনি বলেন, “বামেরা জঞ্জালের মতো। এরা এই রাজ্যের সর্বনাশ করেছে। ৫ বছর আগে গোটা রাজ্যে পরিবর্তন এলেও জামুড়িয়ায় পরিবর্তন আসেনি”।

এদিন তৃণমূল সাংসদ বলেন, “জামুড়িয়ার মত কিছু কিছু জায়গায় এখনও জঞ্জাল থেকে গেছে, এবারের ভোটে সবাই মিলে এদের জামুড়িয়া থেকে উৎখাত করুন”।

বামদের ৩৪ বছরের সঙ্গে পরিবর্তনের সরকারের পাঁচবছরের কাজের হিসেব পাশাপাশি ফেলে বিচার করার ডাক দেন অভিষেক বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়।

তৃণমূল সরকারের উন্নয়নের খতিয়ান তুলে ধরে এদিন তিনি বলেন, গত পাঁচ বছরে তৃণমূল সরকার বাংলায় যে উন্নয়নমূলক কাজ করেছে ৩৪ বছরে তার দশ শতাংশ কাজ করতে পারেনি সিপিএম।

On the fifth day of her campaign in north Bengal, Mamata Banerjee addressed a campaign rally at Sahudangi in Rajganj at Dabgram-Fulbari Assembly constituency in Jalpaiguri district today.

She had been holding campaign rallies and padayatras in Jalpaiguri, Alipurduar and Darjeeling districts for the past four days. She held rallies in Kurseong, Kalchini, Nagrakata, Birpara, Maynaguri and Phansidewa.

Mamata Banerjee slammed the opportunistic alliance of CPI(M) and Congress in her campaign. She said that Trinamool has alliance with people. She maintained that she was confident that people of Bengal will defeat the ‘rainbow alliance’ of Congress, CPI(M) and BJP.

On north Bengal

North Bengal is a beautiful place with a lot of scope for tourism. If tourism flourishes here the economy will flourish and jobs will be created.  Tourism project at Gajoldoba is on progress at a cost of Rs 3500 crore. We have inaugurated a Safari Park in north Bengal. It will boost tourism in the region. We have started a Hindi College at Banarhat. Several ITIs and polytechnic colleges are coming up. We have set up a Biswa Bangla Sports Village in Jalpaiguri. We have formed developmental boards for several communities in the Hills. I have come to north Bengal whenever there was an emergency. Earlier did anyone come to you?

On Opposition

CPI(M) was in power for 34 years. What did they do for north Bengal? They incurred a debt of over Rs 1 lakh crore and we are repaying it. They sold Bengal off and did not do any work for the development of the State.

On Health services

Cardiac surgeries are performed on children below the age of 18 free of cost. We have formed a breast milk bank called Madhur Sneho. We have set up fair price medicine shops which offer 40-70% discount:

On Social Sector schemes

We are working for the welfare of tea workers. Action is taken within 3 months of a tea garden.  We have started Khadya Sathi scheme under which 8.5 crore people are getting rice at Rs 2/kg. Healthcare is free at Government hospitals now. We have worked for the people of the region without seeing political colours. We are giving monthly allowance to 60000 folk artists. We have given Kanyashree scholarships to 33 lakh girls. Kanyashree scheme has empowered our girls. They are our assets. It has earned recognition globally. We have distributed 25 lakh Sabuj Sathi cycles. Another 15 lakh students will get them by July.

On development

We have set up a mini Secretariat, Uttarkanya, in north Bengal. We have conducted over 105 block-level administrative meetings in the last four years. We have introduced time-bound delivery of public services. We have given second language status to Nepali, Hindi, Urdu, Gurmukhi, Ol Chiki. The process of giving second language status to Rajbangshi is underway. Earlier 76 lakh mandays were lost in the State. Now the number is ZERO

২৯৪ আসনে প্রার্থী আমিই:মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়

আজ মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের উত্তরবঙ্গ সফরের পঞ্চম দিন। আজ জলপাইগুড়ি জেলার ডাবগ্রাম-ফুলবাড়িতে প্রচার সভা করলেন মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়।

গত চার দিনে জলপাইগুড়ি, আলিপুরদুয়ার ও দার্জিলিং জেলায় পদযাত্রা করেন মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। এছাড়া কার্শিয়াং, কালচিনি, নাগরাকাটা, বীরপাড়া, ময়নাগুড়ি ও ফাঁসিদেওয়ায় জনসভা করেন তৃণমূল নেত্রী।

মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় তার প্রচারে সিপিএম-কংগ্রেসের সুবিধাবাদী জোটকে কটাক্ষ করে বলেন এই জোট ‘অনৈতিক ঘোঁট’। তৃণমূলের জোট মানুষের সঙ্গে। তিনি আত্মবিশ্বাসী যে বাংলায় কংগ্রেস-সিপিআইএম-বিজেপির ‘রামধনু জোট’ পরাজিত হবে।

রাজগঞ্জে মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের বক্তব্যের কিছু বিষয়ঃ

  • উত্তরবঙ্গ খুব সুন্দর জায়গা, এখানে পর্যটনের অনেক সুযোগ রয়েছে
  • পর্যটনের প্রসার ঘটলে অনেক কর্মসংস্থান হবে
  • সাড়ে তিন হাজার কোটি টাকায় গাজলডোবায় ইকো ট্যুরিজম পার্ক হয়েছে
  • উত্তরবঙ্গে নতুন সাফারি পার্কের উদ্বোধন হয়েছে, এটি পর্যটনের একটি প্রধান আকর্ষণ
  • বানারহাটে হিন্দি কলেজ চালু হয়েছে, আইটিআই ও পলিটেকনিক কলেজ তৈরি হয়েছে
  • জলপাইগুড়িতে বিশ্ব বাংলা ক্রীড়াঙ্গন তৈরি হয়েছে
  • সিপিএম ৩৪ বছর রাজত্ব করেছে। তারা উত্তরবঙ্গের জন্য কি করেছে?
  • চা বাগানের শ্রমিকদের জন্য মাসিক ভাতা চালু হয়েছে, চা-বাগান বন্ধ করার ৩ মাসের মধ্যে পদক্ষেপ নেওয়া হয়
  • আমরা খাদ্যসাথী প্রকল্প চালু করেছি, এর ফলে সাড়ে ৮ কোটি মানুষ ২ টাকা কেজি চাল পাচ্ছে
  • বিনামূল্যে চিকিৎসা পরিষেবা চালু হয়েছে সরকারি হাসপাতালে
  • আমরা রাজনৈতিক রঙ দেখে উন্নয়ন করি না

Mamata Banerjee led a campaign procession this afternoon from Mominpur to Khidderpore.

This was the first such procession after the release of the party’s Manifesto on Friday. The campaign rally soon turned into a mass rally with thousand walking beside their favourite  ‘Didi’.

Mamata Banerjee has already addressed three party workers’ meetings, one each in Englishbazar (Malda district), Suti and Lalbag (both in Murshidabad district).  She is expected to hold more than one hundred and fifty rallies across the State, travelling to all the districts from the north to the south.

আজ মোমিনপুর থেকে খিদিরপুর পর্যন্ত একটি পদযাত্রা করলেন তৃণমূল নেত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। পদযাত্রাটি শুরু হয়েছিল বিকেল ৪.৩০-এ।

শুক্রবার ইস্তেহার প্রকাশের পর এটি মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের প্রথম পদযাত্রা। ইতিমধ্যেই মালদার ইংরেজবাজার-সহ মুর্শিদাবাদের সুতি ও লালবাগ মিলিয়ে মোট তিনটি কর্মীসভা করেছেন মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়।

সারা রাজ্য জুড়ে ১৫০টিরও বেশি কর্মীসভা করার কথা রয়েছে মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের। উত্তরবঙ্গ থেকে দক্ষিণবঙ্গের সমস্ত জেলাতেই তিনি প্রচার করবেন।

Trinamool Congress party colours were the only thing that eyes could find on the day Trinamool Youth Congress President Abhishek Banerjee took to stage at the Purulia town, near the Taxi stand whicle campaigning for the Municipal Polls.

Thousands of people listened to the mesmerizing speech of the ‘Young Turk’, an MP and one of the most enigmatic youth leaders of the country.

In his fiery speech, Abhishek Banerjee urged the people to vote in such a manner that there should not be any opposition and asked the people to bless Trinamool Congress by winning 23 out of the 23 seats. He reiterated that the West Bengal Government led by Ms Mamata Banerjee has done much more work for the State in comparison to what the BJP Government in the Centre has done in one year. He raised the question whether the BJP can give information of 5% of the work they claim to have done.

Abhishek Banerjee said that BJP should first earn their victory over Congress or CPM before trying to change Ms Mamata Banerjee. He said that Mamata Banerjee is not afraid of CBI, ED, Income Tax Dept and such other bodies which are being used to suppress her voice. He said that the name of Mamata Banerjee is synonymous to the word revolution. There is no power that can topple the Government led by Ms Mamata Banerjee. Trinamool was victorious in spite of the Saradah issue in the Panchayat polls and the General Election 2014. Trinamool was not affected. The same results will be evident in the forthcoming Municipal Elections as well as the 2016 Assembly polls, Abhishek Banerjee said.

Abhishek Banerjee pointed out the present PM, who used a car worth Rs 10 lakh, now uses a a car worth Rs six crore, wears suits worth Rs 15 lakh. In comparison, Ms Mamata Banerjee still stays in a modest house which has tiles for roof. He lashed upon the Left Front saying that the Left leaders should keep their mouth shut on the issue of crime against women as it was during the Left rule in Bengal when Tapasi Malik was murdered and incidents like Dhantala and Bantala happened.

The Trinamool Youth Congress President said that those who are spreading slanders through television talk shows should realize that more the criticisms are, more there will be blessings for Ms Mamata Banerjee. He said that those who are spreading canards are forgetting that this is not Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh or Jharkhand. This is the holy land of Nazrul and Rabindranath Tagore.

On this day, Abhishek Banerjee addressed another campaign meeting a t Jhalda. In the evening a road show was organized from Raghunathpur New Bus Stand, covering the Ward Nos 4, 5 and 8 and concluding at the Netaji Sangha ground. MP Derek O’Brien and Indranil Sen were accompanying him in Purulia.

Trinamool Chairperson Ms Mamata Banerjee addressed a second campaign rally at Behala today.  She stated that when a party forms a government, the government should run as a separate entity, not controlled by the party. But this is not what is happening with the BJP at the Centre. It is spreading terror and indulging in divisive politics. But the people of Bengal will remain united.

Ms Mamata Banerjee stated that due to the delay in receiving funds from the Centre, the Metro Railway project is stuck. She said that will take up this issue strongly with the Centre to ensure the proper flow of funds for a timely completion of the project.

Since development is the primary agenda of KMC, it is overcoming all barriers and coordinating with the other agencies to carry out its work. The Left-run KMC board had no vision, but this board, through dint of sheer hard work, has done a lot of development work in just three-and-a-half years.

While the CBI is treated like a God by the Opposition, the Chairperson reminded the people there are many cases still pending with the CBI, like the Tapashi Mallick murder case – her parents are still awaiting justice. Trinamool won’t back out because of being threatened through the CBI, the ED, the I-T Department or any other central agency.

We are number one in the 100-days work scheme, and have introduced a number welfare schemes like Kanyashree, fair price medicine shops, etc.

The Chairperson ended her speech by urging the people to vote for Trinamool so that the wave of development continues unabated in Kolkata.
