Industry captains have welcomed the massive victory of Mamata Banerjee led Trinamool Congress in the 2016 Assembly elections in West Bengal.

Industry captains are hopeful that development and reforms in the State will receive an impetus because of the huge mandate that Didi has won.

CII’s Eastern Region chairman TV Narendran said, “The decisive election victory of the TMC reaffirms the direction of the government and sets the tone for faster economic reforms in West Bengal.”

RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group chairman Sanjiv Goenka says Mamata’s return is “a great news for those who want Bengal to join and win the eagerly-awaited race for economic development.

FICCI President Harsh Neotia said, “This mandate shows people have voted in favour of the development work in the last five years.”

ASSOCHAM Chairman Sunil Kanoria said, “This huge mandate again proves there is no altervative to the politics of development.”

“MCCI will support in all developmental endeavours in the state”, said Manish Goenka, President MCCI.

Trinamool will celebrate the massive victory in Assembly polls through cultural functions across the State, said Mamata Banerjee. The celebrations would continue till 30 May, she added.

Meanwhile, Kalighat, Didi’s ‘para’ was frantic with joy and green with ‘abir’ from the morning itself. With ‘dhakis’ lined up and playing the victory tune since morning, it was quite evident that the green wave is going to sweep Bengal yet again. As hours passed, the picture of a clean sweep by Trinamool was absolutely clear and the ecstatic supporters did not hide their joy.

Trinamool today raised the issue of the Augusta-Westland scam in the Parliament with the Chief Whip of the party in Rajya Sabha, Sukhendu Sekhar Roy submitting a notice under Rule 267 to take up discussion on the issue by suspending the business for the day.

Trinamool wants a thorough discussion on the Augusta-Westland scam and a proper investigation so that the facts see the light of the day. Trinamool also demanded a statement from the Defence Minister in the House.

Around 12:30 PM in the afternoon when Sukhendu Sekhar Roy attempted to speak from his seat, Rule 255 was invoked by the Chairman. Other Trinamool members present in the House walked out in protest for the day after this rule was invoked.

On the first day of her campaign in Coochbehar district, Mamata Benerjee today addressed rallies at Tufanganj, Baneshwar and Coochbehar town. During her speech at Tufanganj, she slammed the BJP for playing divisive politics in the district and said she will never allow the division of Bengal.

Didi also said that the State has not yet received financial freedom. “We increased our revenue but Centre has taken away our money to pay off debt incurred by the CPI(M),” she said. She also slammed the Centre for stopping the funds for schemes like ICDS.

On the developmental wave that has swept Bengal in the last four and half years, she said, “Thirty three lakh girls have been empowered through Kanyashree. We have given scholarships to 26 lakh SC/ST students under Sikshashree scheme and over 11 crore minority students have received scholarships. We are providing rice at Rs 2/kg to people,” she said.

“We are providing 30% subsidy to self help groups, we have started insurance schemes for them. 25 lakh students have received Sabuj Sathi cycles, 15 lakh more will be distributed by June-July,” she added.

Slamming the opportunistic alliance of CPI(M) and Congress, the Trinamool Chairperson said, “We do  not need an alliance with BJP, CPI(M) or Congress. People are with the Trinamool”.

 

বাংলাকে ভাগ হতে দেব না : কোচবিহারে বললেন মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়

কোচবিহারের প্রথম দিনে তুফানগঞ্জের নির্বাচনী প্রচারসভা থেকে তিনি বলেন যে এই জেলার প্রায় ৯৫% মানুষের কাছে সরকারি পরিষেবা পৌঁছে গেছে।

দিদি বলেন রাজনৈতিক স্বাধীনতা পেলেও আজ পর্যন্ত তৃণমূল অর্থনৈতিক স্বাধীনতা পায়নি।“ আমরা আমাদের আয় দ্বিগুন করেছি এই সাড়ে চার বছরে, কিন্তু সেই টাকা সিপিএমের দেনা শোধ করতেই চলে যাচ্ছে”।

গত সাড়ে চার বছরের উন্নয়নের খতিয়ান তুলে ধরে তিনি বলেন, মেয়েরা দেশের সম্পদ। কন্যাশ্রীর মাধ্যমে মেয়েদের আমরা আজ নিজের পায়ে দাঁড়াতে সাহায্য করেছি। ৩৩ লক্ষ মেয়ে কন্যাশ্রী প্রকল্পের আওতায় এসেছে। শিক্ষাশ্রী প্রকল্পের মাধ্যমে ২৬ লক্ষ তপশিলি জাতি উপজাতি ছাত্রছাত্রীদের স্কলারশিপ দেওয়া হয়েছে। ১১ কোটির বেশি সংখ্যালঘু ছেলেমেয়েদের বৃত্তি প্রদান করা হয়েছে। রাজ্যের ৯ কোটি মানুষের মধ্যে ৮ কোটি মানুষকে আমরা ২টাকা কেজি দরে চাল দিচ্ছি খাদ্য সাথী প্রকল্পের আওতায়।

তৃণমূল নেত্রী বলেন, “আইসিডিএস প্রকল্পের টাকা দেওয়া বন্ধ করে দিয়েছে কেন্দ্র আমরা নিজেদের তহবিল থেকে টাকা দিয়ে সেই প্রকল্প চালু রেখেছে রাজ্য সরকার। ২৫ লক্ষ ছেলেমেয়েদের সবুজ সাথী সাইকেল পেয়েছে। বর্তমানে বাংলার সরকারি হাসপাতালে বিনামূল্যে চিকিৎসা পাওয়া যায়। ২টি মেডিকেল কলেজ চালু হয়েছে কোচবিহারে”।

তিনি আরও বলেন ছিটমহলবাসীরা এখন তাদের পরিচয়পত্র পেয়েছেন। হিন্দি, উর্দু, নেপালি, অল চিকি ও রাজবংশি ভাষাকে মর্যাদা দিয়েছে রাজ্য সরকার।

নেত্রী বলেন, আমি উত্তরবঙ্গ থেকে আমার নির্বাচনী প্রচার শুরু করেছিলাম আর আগামীকাল এই উত্তর বঙ্গেই আমার প্রচার শেষ করব। তিনি মানুষের কাছে আবেদন করে বলেন, “ইতিমধ্যেই যা নির্বাচন হয়েছে আমরা সংখ্যাগরিষ্ঠতা পেয়ে গেছি, আমাদের সরকারকে আরও শক্তিশালী করতে আমাদের আরও সমর্থন প্রয়োজন”।

দিদি বলেন, কোচবিহার এতদিন ধরে অবহেলিত হয়েছে, কেউ কখনো এখানকার মানুষের সমস্যার সমাধান করেননি। বিরোধীরা যতই চেষ্টা করুক আমরা কিছুতেই বাংলাকে ভাগ হতে দেব না। আমরা কোচবিহারে হিংসা নয় শান্তি চাই। দার্জিলিং, কোচবিহার, জলপাইগুড়ি আমার হৃদয়ের অংশ, আমরা এখানে বিভেদের রাজনীতি বরদাস্ত করব না। তৃণমূল সাম্প্রদায়িক সম্প্রীতিতে বিশ্বাস করে।

বিরোধীদের কড়া ভাষায় আক্রমণ করে তিনি বলেন, বিজেপি জানে যে ওরা জিততে পারবে না তাই ওরা হিংসা আর বিভেদের রাজনীতি শুরু করেছে। তৃণমূলের জোটের প্রয়োজন হয় না, কারণ তৃণমূলের জোট মানুষের সঙ্গে। সিপিএম আর কংগ্রেস মিলে এখন কংরেড হয়ে গেছে। ওরা নিজেদের নীতি ও আদর্শকে আজ বিসর্জন দিয়ে একে অপরের কাছে নিজেদের বিক্রি করে দিয়েছে।

In the last leg of her campaign in Kolkata, Mamata Banerjee led two padyatras from Sukanta Setu to Gariahat followed by another from Beltala to Hazra.

Mamata Banerjee has already addressed nearly 140 rallies and padyatras across Bengal, covering more than 18 districts.

Everywhere she went, people turned out in large numbers to show their support to Didi.

আজ কলকাতায় নির্বাচনী প্রচার করলেন তৃণমূল নেত্রী। নির্বাচনী প্রচারের শেষ দিনে সুকান্ত সেতু থেকে গোলপার্ক পর্যন্ত পদযাত্রা করলেন মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়।

পরে বেলতলা রোড থেকে হাজরার মোড় পর্যন্ত আরও একটি মিছিল করেন মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়।

ইতিমধ্যেই সমগ্র রাজ্যের ১৮টি জেলায় জনসভা ও পদযাত্রা মিলিয়ে ১৪০টির বেশি নির্বাচনী প্রচার করেছেন তৃণমূল নেত্রী এবং প্রতিটিতেই বিপুল জনসমাগম হয়েছে।

Mamata Banerjee will address election campaign rallies in three districts today – at Joynagar, Mandirbazar and Maheshtala in South 24 Parganas, at Khidderpore in Kolkata and at Sreerampore in Hooghly.

The Trinamool Chairperson has already taken part in more than one hundred campaign rallies and padayatras in different parts of Bengal, in spite of the scorching heat.

On Tuesday, Mamata Banerjee held rallies in different part of South Kolkata – at Theatre Road, Bagha Jatin, Patuli and Tollygunge. People turned out in large numbers to show support towards her.

 

আজ হুগলি ও দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগণায় প্রচার করবেন মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়

আজ তিন জেলায় নির্বাচনী প্রচার করবেন তৃণমূল নেত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগণার জয়নগর,মন্দিরবাজারে ও মহেশ্তলায়, কলকাতার খিদিরপুর এবং হুগলি জেলার শ্রীরামপুরে জনসভা করবেন নেত্রী।

এই প্রচণ্ড গরমে সারা বাংলা জুড়ে তিনি নির্বাচনী প্রচার করছেন। ইতিমধ্যেই তিনি ১০০টির বেশি জনসভা ও পদযাত্রা করেছেন।

মঙ্গলবার তিনি ভাঙড়, বারুইপুর, মগরাহাট ও রায়দীঘিতে নির্বাচনী প্রচার করেছেন। প্রতিটি জনসভাতেই বিপুল জনসমাগম হয়েছিল।

Slamming the CPI(M) candidate in Raidighi, Kanti Ganguly, Mamata Banerjee today said that the CPI(M) was planning to rig the upcoming elections in the assembly segment. She was addressing a massive rally at Raidighi in South 24 Parganas. She also addressed rallies at Baruipur, Magrahat and Bhangar later in the day.

In Bhangar, she slammed CPI(M), Congress and BJP on the issue of corruption. “The most corrupt parties are accusing us of corruption. BJP received Rs 2200 crore from unknown sources, Congress received Rs 2100 crore. CPI(M) received Rs 668 crore from unknown sources. 85% of Congress’s income is from unknown sources while that of BJP is 73%. Sonia Gandhi must give an account of Rs 2100 crore then lecture us on corruption. BJP promised to bring back black money. Where is the money,” she said.

Slamming the CPI(M)-Congress alliance, Didi said, “The CPI(M) and Congress have started a whisper campaign against us. But they will never win. The alliance is opportunistic. CPI(M) and Congress will become sign boards after the Bengal polls results are out. The alliance says it will win 200 seats. Let them first win 20 seats. People of Bengal have not forgotten the atrocities during CPI(M) rule.”

Speaking on the development in the area, she said, “Our government had taken a decision to create a new district in Sunderbans. From Kanyashree to Sabuj Sathi, we have given a lot of benefits to students. We have taken several initiatives for the fishermen of this district. We have set up hospitals, schools and colleges for people.”

“We have distributed Sikshasree scholarships to 26 lakh SC/ST students. We are giving rice at Rs 2/kg to 8 crore people under Khadya Sathi scheme. We built the Mridanga bridge for the local people here. We have set up ITIs, Karma Tirtha, polytechnics, Kisan Bazaars. We do not discriminate between people while distributing services,” she added.

 

সিপিএম রিগিংয়ের পরিকল্পনা করছে: মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়

আজ দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগণার রায়দীঘিতে একটি জনসভা করেন তৃণমূল নেত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যপাধায়ায়। এরপর তিনি বারুইপুর, মগরাহাট এবং ভাঙড়ে ৩ টি জনসভা করেন। রায়দীঘিতে তিনি বলেন যে ইতিমধ্যেই সিপিএম রায়দীঘির বেশ কিছু বুথে রিগিং করার পরিকল্পনা করছে এবং সিপিএম-কংগ্রেসের এই জোট সুবিধাবাদী।

ভাঙড়ে সিপিএম-কংগ্রেস-বিজেপিকে দুর্নীতি নিয়ে কটাক্ষ করে বলেন, “দুর্নীতিগ্রস্ত দল আজ দুর্নীতি নিয়ে অভিযোগ করছে।বিজেপির ২২০০ কোটি টাকার উ९স অজানা, কংগ্রেসের ২১০০ কোটি টাকার উ९স অজানা। সিপিএমের ৬৬৮ কোটি টাকার উ९স অজানা। কংগ্রেসের আয়ের ৮৫% উ९স বেনামি এবং বিজেপির আয়ের ৭৩% উ९স বেনামি। আগে সোনিয়া গান্ধি ২১০০ কোটি টাকার সোর্সের জবাব দিন তারপর দুর্নীতি নিয়ে ভাষণ দেবেন।  বিজেপি প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছিল যে তারা কালো টাকা ফিরিয়ে আনবে? কোথায় সেই টাকা?”

সিপিএম-কংগ্রেসের জোটকে কটাক্ষ করে তিনি বলেন, “রায়দীঘির বেশ কিছু বুথে রিগিং করার পরিকল্পনা করছে সিপিএম। সিপিএম-কংগ্রেস ইতিমধ্যেই হুইসপার ক্যাম্পেন শুরু করে দিয়েছে, কিন্তু ওরা কখনোই জিততে পারবে না। সিপিএম আর কংগ্রেস এখন জোট করেছে, এই জোট সুবিধাবাদী। বাংলার নির্বাচনের ফলাফলের পর সিপিএম-কংগ্রেস সাইন বোর্ড হয়ে যাবে।জোট বলছে ওরা নাকি ২০০টি আসন জিতবে, আগে ওরা ২০টি আসন জিতে দেখাক। বাংলার মানুষ সিপিএমের আমলের সেই হিংসা, সন্ত্রাস ভুলে যায়নি। সেই সব সন্ত্রাসের দিনগুলিতে নন্দীগ্রামের মানুষরা এসে রায়দীঘি ও সাগরে আশ্রয় নিয়েছিল”।

এই এলাকার উন্নয়নের কথা বলতে গিয়ে তিনি বলেন, গত চার বছরে আমরা আমাদের সাধ্যমতো কাজ করেছি মানুষের জন্য। গ্রাম-শহরের মানুষ এখন খুব খুশিতে আছে, শান্তিতে আছে, মানুষ তাদের গণতান্ত্রিক অধিকার পেয়েছে। ইতিমধ্যেই সুন্দরবন নতুন জেলা তৈরি করার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে আমাদের সরকার। কন্যাশ্রী থেকে সবুজ সাথী সবরকম সুযোগ সুবিধা পাচ্ছে ছাত্র-ছাত্রীরা। এই জেলার মাছ চাষিদের জন্য অনেক পদক্ষেপ নেওয়া হয়েছে। সাধারণ মানুষের জন্য হাসপাতাল, স্কুল, কলেজ তৈরি হয়েছে।

‘খাদ্য সাথী’ প্রকল্পের আওতায় রাজ্যের ৮ কোটি মানুষকে ২টাকা কেজি দরে চাল পাচ্ছে। এই এলাকার সাধারণ মানুষের জন্য আমরা মৃদঙ্গ ব্রিজ তৈরি করেছি। আইটিআই, কর্ম তীর্থ, পলিটেকনিক, কিষাণ বাজার তৈরি করেছি। সাধারণ মানুষকে পরিষেবা দেওয়ার সময় আমরা কোনরকম ভেদাভেদ করি নি”।

তিনি আরও বলেন, “৪০ লক্ষ ছাত্রছাত্রীকে সবুজ সাথী সাইকেল দেওয়া হয়েছে।  সরকারি হাসপাতালগুলিতে এখন বিনামূল্যে চিকিৎসা পাওয়া যায়। সব জেলায় ন্যায্য মূল্যের ওষুধের দোকান তৈরি হয়েছে। স্বনির্ভর গোষ্ঠীকে ৩০ শতাংশ সাবসিডি দেওয়া হচ্ছে, তাদের সুদের হারও কমিয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে। বন্যা দুর্গতদের আমরা ক্ষতিপূরণ দেওয়া হয়েছে।আমরা ২৬ লক্ষ তপশিলি জাতি উপজাতি ছাত্রছাত্রীদের স্কলারশিপ দিয়েছি”।

Mamata Banerjee will address four election campaign rallies at South 24 Parganas today. She will be holding mass meetings for the constituencies Raidighi, Baruipur and Bhangor.

The Trinamool Chairperson has already taken part in more than one hundred campaign rallies and padyatras in different parts of Bengal in spite of the scorching heat.

She had led a huge padyatra in her own constituency Bhowanipore on Sunday.

Yesterday, Mamata Banerjee held rallies in different part of south Kolkata at Theatre Road, Baghajatin, Patuli and Tollygaunge. People turned out in large numbers to show support towards Didi.

 

আজ দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগণায় প্রচার করবেন মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়

আজ দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগণায় ৪টি প্রচার সভা করবেন তৃণমূল নেত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। তিনি রায়দীঘি, বারুইপুর এবং ভাঙরে জনসভা করবেন তিনি।

ইতিমধ্যেই তৃণমূল নেত্রী ১০০টিরও বেশি জনসভা এবং পদযাত্রা করেছেন এই প্রচণ্ড গরমেও।

গত রবিবার তিনি তার নিজের কেন্দ্র ভবানিপুরে একটি বিশাল পদযাত্রা করেন।

দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগনা জেলায় উন্নয়ন এক নজরে

রাজ্য ও অন্যান্য জেলার সঙ্গে তাল মিলিয়ে বিগত সাড়ে চার বছর সময়কালে অভূতপূর্ব উন্নয়ন ঘটেছে এই দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগনা জেলায়।

এই জেলায় বিগত সাড়ে চার বছরে ৮৩ শতাংশ মানুষের কাছে বিভিন্ন সরকারী প্রকল্পের সুুবিধা পৌঁছে দেওয়া গেছে।

স্বরাষ্ট্র :

সুন্দরবনের মানুষের প্রশাসনিক কাজের সুবিধার্থে সুন্দরবনের অঞ্চলগুলিকে নিয়ে একটি নতুন জেলা গঠনের সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়েছে।

জেলায় নতুন থানা হিসাবে বারুইপুর মহিলা থানা ও ডায়মন্ড হারবার মহিলা থানা এবং গঙ্গাসাগর উপকূলীয় থানা, ডায়মন্ড হারবার (পারুলিয়া) উপকূলীয় থানা, গোবর্দ্ধনপুর উপকূলীয় থানা, ঝড়খালি উপকূলীয় থানা ও হারউড পয়েন্ট উপকূলীয় থানা স্থাপন করা হয়েছে।

 

স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার কল্যান :

ডায়মন্ডহারবারকে পৃথক স্বাস্থ্য জেলা হিসাবে গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।

ডায়মন্ডহারবার ও ভাঙরে ২ টি নতুন মেডিক্যাল কলেজ গড়ে তোলা হচ্ছে।

মেটিয়াবুরুজ, কাকদ্বীপ এবং বারুইপুরে ৩টি মাল্টি সুপার স্পেশালিটি হাসপাতাল চালু হয়ে গেছে।

ডায়মন্ড হারবার ও এম আর বাঙ্গুরে ২টি মাল্টি-সুপার স্পেশালিটি হাসপাতাল গড়ে তোলা হচ্ছে, মার্চ মাসের মধ্যে চালু হয়ে যাবে।

বাঙ্গুর ও ডায়মন্ড হারবার হাসপাতালে ২টি SNCU চালু হয়ে গেছে। কাকদ্বীপ মহকুমা হাসপাতালে ও বারুইপুর মহকুমা হাসপাতালে ২টি জগইঞ মে মাসের মধ্যে চালু হয়ে যাবে।

আমতলা, বাসন্তী, ভাঙ্গড়, নামখানা ইত্যাদি হাসপাতাল সহ মোট ২৯টি SNSU চালু হয়ে গেছে।

জেলায় ৮টি ন্যায্য মূল্যের ওষুধের দোকান এম আর বাঙ্গুর, বিদ্যাসাগর,বাঘাযতীন  হাসপাতাল, ক্যানিং, বারুইপুর,  ডায়মন্ডহারবার, কাকদ্বীপ ও মাধবনগর (পাথরপ্রতিমা) হাসপাতালে চালু হয়ে গেছে।

এম আর বাঙ্গুর , ডায়মন্ডহারবার , ক্যানিং, বারুইপুর, , বিদ্যাসাগর হাসপাতাল ইত্যাদি সহ মোট ৫টি ন্যায্য মূল্যের ডায়াগ্নস্টিক কেন্দ্র চালু হয়ে গেছে। ক্যানিং মহকুমা হাসপাতালে ডিজিট্যাল এক্স-রে পরিষেবা ও চালু হয়ে গেছে।

ডায়মন্ড হারবার, এম আর বাঙ্গুর ও ক্যানিং হাসপাতালে ৩টি CCU চালু হয়ে গেছে।

কাকদ্বীপ ও বারুইপুর মহকুমা হাসপাতালে ২টি HDU গড়ে তোলা হচ্ছে।

 

শিক্ষা:

  • মেয়েদের মধ্যে উচ্চ শিক্ষা প্রসারের লক্ষ্যে ডায়মন্ড হারবারে পূর্বাঞ্চলের প্রথম মহিলা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় স্থাপন করা হয়েছে।এর নব নির্মিত প্রশাসনিক ভবন ও নির্মিত হয়েছে।
  • আলিপুরের হেস্টিংস হাউসে জ্ঞগভর্নমেন্ট জেনারেল ডিগ্রি কলেজ ফর গার্লস স্থাপন করা হয়েছে।
  • এছাড়া জয়নগর-২, বজবজে ২টি আইটি আই গড়ে তোলা হচ্ছে।
  • এই জেলায় প্রায় ২ লক্ষ ৫২ হাজার ছাত্র-ছাত্রীকে সবুজসাথী প্রকল্পে সাইকেল প্রদান করা হয়েছে।
  • বিগত সাড়ে ৪ বছরে জেলায় নতুন ১১৭টি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় ও ৩৩৬টি উচ্চ প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
  • পাশাপাশি ৭৩টি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়কে উচ্চ প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় স্তরে এবং ১৭১টি মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়কে উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয় স্তরে উন্নীত করা হয়েছে।
  • বাসন্তী, ক্যানিং-২, কুলতলি ও জয়নগরে ৪টি মডেল স্কুল নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে।
  • সব স্কুলে মিড-ডে-মিল চলছে যার ফলে পুষ্টি এবং উপস্থিতির হার বেড়েছে এবং স্কুল ছুট ছাত্রের সংখ্যা কমেছে।
  • প্রতিটি বিদ্যালয়ে ছেলে ও মেয়েদের জন্যে পৃথক শৌচাগার নির্মিত হয়েছে।

 

কৃষি, ভূমি সংস্কার, মৎস্য ও পশুপালন :

  • এই জেলার বিষ্ণুপুর-২, ডায়মন্ড হারবার-২ ও মথুরাপুর-১এ ৩টি কৃষক বাজার গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে। বারুইপুর, সাগর, পাথরপ্রতিমা ও গোসাবায় ৪টি কৃষক বাজার গড়ে তোলা হচ্ছে।
  • বিগত সাড়ে ৪ বছরে, প্রায় ২৫ হাজার ভূমিহীন পরিবারকে  পাট্টা প্রদান করা হয়েছে।
  • এছাড়া রাজ্যের মৎস্য উৎপাদন বৃদ্ধির লক্ষ্যে প্রায় ৯০ লক্ষ টাকা ব্যয়ে সমবায় তথা স্বনির্ভর গোষ্ঠির মাধ্যমে বড় মাছ চাষের একটি বৃহৎ প্রকল্প হাতে নেওয়ার ফলে প্রচুর মৎস্যজীবি এবং তাঁদের পরিবার উপকৃত হয়েছেন।
  • জেলায় প্রাণী সম্পদ উন্নয়ন দপ্তর বিগত সাড়ে চার বছরে প্রায় ২০ লক্ষ হাঁস ও মুরগীর বাচ্চা, বিভিন্ন স্বনির্ভর দলের মধ্যে বিতরণ করেছে।

 

পঞ্চায়েত ও গ্রামোন্নয়ন:

  • বিগত সাড়ে চার বছরে ১০০ দিনের কাজে প্রায় ৯৬৯ কোটি টাকা ব্যয় করে ৪ কোটি ৭০ লক্ষ শ্রম দিবস সৃষ্টি হয়েছে।
  • গ্রামীণ সড়ক যোজনায় প্রায় ৩৫০ কিমি রাস্তা নির্মিত হয়ে গেছে।
  • গত সাড়ে ৪ বছরে জেলায় প্রায় ১ লক্ষ ৩ হাজার ইন্দিরা আবাসন ঘর করা হয়েছে।
  • জেলায় মিশন নির্মল বাংলা প্রকল্পে বিগত সাড়ে চার বছরে প্রায় ৩ লক্ষ ১২ হাজার শৌচালয় নির্মান সম্পূণ হয়েছে।

 

সংখ্যালঘু উন্নয়ন:

  • বিগত সাড়ে ৪ বছরে, ৮ লক্ষ ৫৮ হাজারেরও বেশি সংখ্যালঘু ছাত্র-ছাত্রীকে প্রায় ১৩০ কোটি টাকা স্কলারশিপ প্রদান করা হয়েছে। আরও প্রায় ৩ লক্ষ ৬০ হাজার ছাত্রছাত্রী আগামী মে মাসের মধ্যে স্কলারশিপ পেতে চলেছে।
  • এছাড়া স্বনির্ভরতার জন্য সংখ্যালঘু যুবক-যুবতীদের প্রায় সাড়ে ২২ কোটি টাকা ঋণ প্রদান করা হয়েছে। আরও প্রায় সাড়ে ৮ কোটি টাকা ঋণ প্রদান করা হবে আগামী মে মাসের মধ্যে।
  • এর পাশাপাশি প্রায় ২০ হাজার সংখ্যালঘু ছাত্রীকে বাইসাইকেল প্রদান করা হয়েছে।
  • প্রায় ৬ কোটি ১০ লক্ষ টাকা ব্যয়ে জয়নগর-১ ও ২, কুলতলী, মগরাহাট-১, মহেশতলা, কুলপী (৩টি) এবং পাথরপ্রতিমা ব্লকে ৯টি সংখ্যালঘু ছাত্রাবাস চালু হয়ে গেছে।
  • বিষ্ণুপুর, সোনারপুর, বজবজ, বারুইপুর ও বাসন্তীর সোনাখালি ও রামচন্দ্রখালিতে কর্মতীর্থগড়ে তোলা হচ্ছে।

 

অনগ্রসর কল্যান ও আদিবাসী উন্নয়ন:

  • প্রায় ১ লক্ষ ৬০ হাজার ছাত্র-ছাত্রী শিক্ষাশ্রী প্রকল্পে সহায়তা পাচ্ছে। আরও প্রায় ৯৪ হাজার ছাত্র-ছাত্রী আগামী মে মাসের মধ্যে প্রকল্পের আওতাভূক্ত হতে চলেছে।
  • বিগত সাড়ে ৪ বছরে, প্রায় ৪ লক্ষ ৭৫ হাজার জাতি শংসাপত্র প্রদান করা হয়েছে।

 

নারী ও শিশু উন্নয়ন:

  • এই জেলায় প্রায় ৩ লক্ষ ২৩ হাজার ছাত্রী কন্যাশ্রী-র আওতায় এসেছে।
  • প্রায় ৯ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে জেলার বিভিন্ন জায়গায় ১২৬টি নতুন অঙ্গনওয়াড়ি কেন্দ্র চালু হয়ে গেছে।

 

খাদ্য সুরক্ষা কর্মসূচী – খাদ্য সাথী:

জেলায় ৬৩ লক্ষ ২৫ হাজার মানুষ ২/- টাকা কেজি দরে খাদ্যশস্য পাচ্ছেন।

 

শিল্প:

  • জেলায় ক্ষুদ্র, ছোট ও মাঝারি উদ্যোগের ১০টি ক্লাস্টার গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে। এর ফলে প্রায় ১ লক্ষ মানুষের কর্মসংস্থান সুনিশ্চিত করা গেছে।
  • এছাড়া বারুইপুর ও সন্তোষপুরে ২টি শিল্প তালুক গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে, যেখানে প্রচুর মানুষের কর্মসংস্থান হয়েছে।

 

পূর্ত ও পরিবহন:

  • যাত্রী সুবিধার্থে কলকাতা-গঙ্গাসাগর হেলিকপ্টার পরিষেবা চালু হয়ে গেছে।
  • জিঞ্জিরা বাজার থেকে বাটানগর পর্যন্ত একটি ৭.৪ কিমি দীর্ঘ উড়ালপুল গড়ে তোলা হচ্ছে।
  • ৭ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে কুলপী, ক্যানিং-১ ও বারুইপুর ব্লকে ৩টি জ্ঞপথের সাথীঞ্চ – মোটেল চালু হয়ে গেছে।

 

বিদ্যুৎ ও অচিরাচরিত শক্তি:

দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগনা জেলায় ১০০ শতাংশ গ্রমীণ বিদ্যুতায়ন প্রকল্পের কাজ ২০১৬ সালের মার্চ মাসের মধ্যে সমাপ্ত করার লক্ষ্য স্থির করা হয়েছে ।

 

সেচ:

  • গঙ্গাসাগরে তীর্থযাত্রীদের সুবিধার্থে কাকদ্বীপ লট-৮এ নতুন জেটি নির্মিত হয়েছে।
  • ৪০০ কিমি দৈর্ঘ্যের বাঁধ সংরক্ষণের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।
  • প্রায় ২০ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে সুন্দরবনের ৩৭টি স্থানে নদীবাঁধ উচুঁ, শক্তিশালী ও রক্ষণাবেক্ষণের কাজ সম্পূর্ণ হয়েছে।
  • প্রায় ১ কোটি ৭০ লক্ষ টাকা ব্যয়ে সোনারপুর ব্লকের হাসনপুরে একটি সেতু নির্মান করা হচ্ছে।

 

জনস্বাস্থ্য কারিগরী:

বিগত সাড়ে চার বছরে ১৯৭ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে ৭৭টি জলপ্রকল্পের কাজ শুরু হয়েছে, এর মধ্যে ৫৫টির কাজ সমাপ্ত হয়েছে।

 

পর্যটন:

  • গঙ্গাসাগর ও বকখালিতে পর্যটনের বিকাশের লক্ষ্যে গঙ্গাসাগর-বকখালি উন্নয়ন কতৃপক্ষ স্থাপন করা হয়েছে।
  • কলকাতা-গঙ্গাসাগর হেলিকপ্টার পরিষেবা চালু করা হয়েছে।
  • গঙ্গাসাগার পর্যটক নিবাস -কে নবরূপে সজ্জিত করা হয়েছে।
  • প্রায় ৪০০ কোটি টাকা বরাদ্দে ঝড়খালিতে ইকো-ট্যুরিজ্‌ম প্রকল্প গড়ে তোলা হচ্ছে।

 

স্বনির্ভর দল ও স্বনিযুক্তি কর্মসূচী:

  • আনন্দধারা প্রকল্পে ৬২০০টি স্বনির্ভর দল গঠিত হয়েছে, আগামী মে মাসের মধ্যে আরও ৪৫০০টি স্বনির্ভর দল গঠিত হতে চলেছে।
  • ক্যানিং-১ ও ২ এবং নামখানায় ৩টি কর্মতীর্থ গড়ে তোলা হচ্ছে।
  • বিগত সাড়ে চার বছরে স্বামী বিবেকান্দ স্বনির্ভর কর্মসূচী প্রকল্পে ৯ হাজার প্রকল্পের অনুমোদন দেওয়া হয়েছে এবং প্রায় ৫০ কোটি টাকা অনুদান প্রদান করা হয়েছে।

 

পুর ও নগরোন্নয়ন:

  • গঙ্গাসাগর, বকখালি ও সংলগ্ন এলাকার উন্নতিসাধনেএই সময়কালের মধ্যে গঙ্গাসাগর-বকখালি Development authority (২০১৩) গঠন করা হয়েছে।
  • দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগনা জেলায় ৭টি মিউনিসিপ্যালিটি বিগত সাড়ে চার বছরে প্রায় ২১৩ কোটি টাকা পরিকল্পনা খাতে ব্যয় করেছে। শহরাঞ্চলে গরীবদের জন্যে প্রায় ১৩ হাজার বাসস্থান নির্মিত হয়েছে।

 

তথ্য ও সংস্কৃতি:

বর্তমানে দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগনা জেলায় প্রায় ৩ হাজার লোকশিল্পী রিটেনার ফি ও পেনশন পাচ্ছেন। আরও প্রায় ৭৫০ লোকশিল্পী রিটেনার ফি ও পেনশন পেতে চলেছেন।

আবাসন:

দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগনা জেলায় আর্থিক ভাবে দুর্বল মানুষদের জন্যে গীতাঞ্জলী ও অন্যান্য প্রকল্পে ২৭ হাজার বাসস্থান নির্মিত হচ্ছে, এর মধ্যে ১৮ হাজার বাসস্থান নির্মিত হয়ে গেছে। বাকি বাসস্থান আগামী মে মাসের মধ্যে সম্পন্ন হবে।

ক্রীড়া ও যুব কল্যান:

নতুন প্রতিভার অন্বেষণে সুন্দরবনে সুন্দরবন কাপ ক্রীড়া প্রতিযোগিতার আয়োজন করা হয়েছে।

জেলায় ৩৩৭টি মাল্টি জিম সেন্টার গড়ে তুলতে ৬ কোটি ৭৪ লক্ষ টাকা প্রদান করা হয়েছে।

সুন্দরবন উন্নয়ন:

সুন্দরবনের মানুষের জীবন ও জীবিকা উন্নয়নের লক্ষ্যে সুন্দরিণী নামে একটি সর্বাঙ্গীন প্রকল্পের কাজ হাতে নেওয়া হয়েছে।
