SS Roy speaks in RS on the Kashmir issue
Deputy Speaker, Sir. The leader of our party in the House, Shri Derek O’Brien, during a prior discussion on the current situation in Kashmir, had categorically said that it is due to mismanagement on part of government that situation in Kashmir went out of control.
The situation in Kashmir is still alarming. The government had assured us the matter would be discussed today. They said that the government is ready for a discussion. Sir, many parties have given notice under Rule 267 for a discussion on the Kashmir issue.
Sir, it is our humble submission that the discussion be taken up at 2 PM today.
