Sir, in our country, 22 essential commodities have been demarcated for distribution through the public distribution system. My question to the hon’ble minister that it has been talked about in the newspapers.
Sir, 75,000 metric tonnes of onions which were kept under the control of the ministry, 50 per cent of those have been damaged. It is the most unfortunate issue. I am concerned to know out of these two essential items, onion, potatoes are there, these are important items.
Whether government is now succeeding to deliver these items, through the public distribution system, to those who are holding the ration cards, regularly, and at what price?
